We consistently recommend Swoogo to our clients for an all in one event solution. Pros Everything. Swoogo is a game changer for our team. It allows us bridge the gap that other platforms contain, payments are easy and seamless, email marketing allows us to customize outreach to attendees with critical information, the management features allows us to perform mass updating on the administrative end saving us hours of time to complete seating assignments and push out notification reminders. Cons A pro and a con is having the ability to allow a administrator to handle the reservation, there is no way to know who is the attendee and who is administrator. Other than that, no complaints. They are easy to work with, and during the pandemic, they proved that they TRULY value the relationships with their clients. They went above and beyond with being flexible during the pandemic. Pros As an independent meeting planner I have reviewed / used/ tested, easily over 50 different registration programs over the course of my 25+ year career. Some have some great features, some not so much. Some are easy to use, some not so much. Some have great tech support, others leave you wanting to claw your eyes out after reaching out to tech support 20 times only to get an automated message telling you how they will get to your ticket as soon as possible, not. Keep in mind that I have many different clients all with different needs. And for many years, we owned licenses to various platforms, just so that we could service each of our clients. Swoogo does to have every bell and whistle out there, but they do have 99.9% of what I, and my clients, need. Swoogo is, and I do not say this lightly, the best registration platform that I have ever used. And it's not just the platform, it's the company and people behind it. What do I like best? The ease of use; things are where you would expect them to be. The program is inherently intuitive. The way it is organized, and just makes sense. If you cannot figure out something, tech support is easy to reach. Speaking of tech support, you can easily find all your previous requests and the tech supports answers all in one convenient place in your account. They have impeccable customer service who answer pretty quickly, very kindly (and with some personality), and can usually find me the answer or an acceptable work around/suggestion. Again, how customizable the reg site is has really worked well for us as opposed to some other platforms we've used. Overall 10/10 would recommend. Pros My favorite thing about Swoogo is how customizable you can make the registration site. The fact that you can condition upon condition all the questions, makes sure the right details are shared with the right registrants. Cons So far the biggest thing I've come across is that you can only accept 1 currency at a time. We were able to find a work around however to be able to accept the second currency. We are able to customize our events. Pros It is really quite simple to use. As with any software, there is a learning curve. What I've been most impressed with is the proactive customer support we've received from our account rep team. They have gone above and beyond and are very, very knowledgable. We have a very small team and don't have the luxury of in house IT support. Swoogo allowed us to host an online Summit with over 1,000 attendees and we didn't skip a beat. Swoogo allows you to use premade templates or completely customize your event which makes it a very versatile product. Our support team has always gone the extra mile to support any request we've had or to find answers to questions that might be a little outside of the box. Cons Integrating Swoogo with the webinar.net software was a bit challenging. We'd like to see improvements in that area. We'd also like to be able to customize emails a bit more than the software currently provides functionality for. They have worked diligently to understand our requirements for event management and have been responsive to our inquiries. The Swoogo meeting software has proven to be a robust solution for our conference needs. Its user-friendly design has made it easy for our team to navigate and utilize its features effectively. One of the standout aspects of Swoogo is its flexibility. We have been able to customize event pages and registration forms to align perfectly with our branding and event specifications. This level of customization has allowed us to create a tailored experience for our conferences. March 6, 2023 5.0 Pros The platform in general is incredibly good - any type of event, with registration capturing any details you fancy. In person and virtual even in the same event with different ticket types for each. A whole load of reporting, e-mail engagement and tracking with integrations built in to automate process after a customer buys a ticket. This really is the complete package for serious event organisation. Cons The price. Oh my goodness, the price. It is good, there's no doubting it. We trialled it in partnership with a client and although an amazing platform, the annual cost to run their events would have been over £20k! Your events need to making some serious profit to invest twenty grand a year in the booking platform.
