I never had troubles of any kind with it. Pros OneDrive is the cloud service of Microsoft, useful to save and share files at home and at work. It's simple to manage documents and to share videos, as well as it's easy to upload files of many kind. The customer support is excellent, and the value for money is reasonable, according to the storage space included. I use it for file management, document uploads, storage, document creation, file sharing, etc. It's extremely easy to use and integrates very easily with many other programs. I wouldn't be as efficient as I am without it. Cons I have not found a single thing I don't like about OneDrive. Everything I need is right at my fingertips. February 20, 2026 5.0 Overall good value for the price and what you get. I run across 5+ devices so run into hicups sometimes but it works for the most part. Pros Generous storage for price, good mobile features including auto sync with Samsung Galaxy photos. Also nice that you can run multiple instances (i.e. personal and work). Cons Can sometimes be finicky with auth and sync and when it is it can be a huge pain to resolve. I have had instances where auth keeps erroring out and have to go through reinstalls etc. to get it working. It works great when it wants to, and gives you character-building patience lessons the rest of the time. Pros OneDrive: because nothing says “modern productivity” like a cloud that’s mostly reliable and occasionally decides your files are on vacation. Great for document hide-and-seek, automatic backups you hope actually backed up, and pretending your messy desktop never existed. Cons OneDrive: for when you like living on the edge—files syncing, not syncing, syncing twice, or mysteriously vanishing. Bonus: figuring out which version is the “right” one is a full-time hobby. It's nice to not have to search for important documents. I can edit document from within OneDrive and easily download them in seconds. Pros Can't beat the cost. OneDrive offers the use of their product for free. Its's easy user friendly platform let me create folders and sub folders easily to store my documents. I can access my documents from anywhere. In addition to using it, I support our company with about 100 users and where in 2020 I experienced problems constantly, now (2026-03) I experience very few problems at all. Great improvements over the past five years. Pros The business version of the product for each team member is 1TB. That is huge for us because of the large CAD and other drawing files that are shared. It is super easy to attach the files to an email and have it link straight to OneDrive. Cons If OneDrive gets confused, then it can be a complete nightmare to untangle. I have had drives duplicate because of broken syncs. I have seeming "lost" files too but I do not recall a time I wasn't able to recover them from the online version. It’s easy to use, works well with Microsoft apps, and makes accessing and sharing files simple. The syncing and backup features are helpful for everyday work. That said, storage limits and occasional sync issues can be frustrating, especially on free plans. It’s reliable for basic needs but could improve in value and performance in some areas. February 25, 2026 5.0 OneDrive is a game changing cloud based drive that I wholeheartedly recommend for use within a business and also outside of work. It's security and convenience is unmatched, meaning it is in my opinion the best in the market with no other competitors matching it's specification and expertise. If you like secure cloud based documents you can access anywhere, use OneDrive. Pros I love that OneDrive is a secure cloud based drive that allows you to store documents easily without fears of them being lost or deleted. I like that OneDrive is easy to navigate, and you can regularly check if your documents are syncing to the cloud, I find it a lot more beneficial and safe to use than a personal drive on a work's device, as you can access it from anywhere on any device with the correct credentials and authentication. Cons OneDrive is currently the best cloud based drive system there is without a doubt, and the only con I would raise about it that there can be intermittent synchronisation issues which cause a small delay in the speed of your documents being uploaded to the cloud.
