### "OneDrive: Organization and Collaboration Made Easy"

March 25, 2026

5.0

Overall, OneDrive was, and continues to be, a simple solution for document/folder collaboration across my organization.

Pros

One of the biggest perks of OneDrive it how easy it is to understand and use. Because the UI is very similar to File Explorer on Windows, storing, sharing and editing folders/documents was a breeze.

Cons

To be honest, I don't have many qualms with OneDrive, as it was a very simple way to share and collaborate on documents or folders. Really impressed

### "Good resource for saving data "

March 10, 2026

4.0

Overall my experience is good with one drive. It is a great tool to save important files and data for work and personal items.

Pros

Saves all your data and gives reminders of the data. . For example I have a one drive from a former company I still get emails on.

Cons

I least like about it is I can’t figure out how to locate how to log into old drives . While I get emails on it I can’t find my user ID and password and how to log into old accounts or reset to log in.

### "Incredible app for Microsoft based teams"

May 11, 2026

4.0

As a team using Microsoft products, onedrive has been great. Enabling access and using onedrive as personal storage has been great

Pros

One drive is the most value for money for teams which are part of the microsoft environment. It integrates seamlessly with Microsoft applications and also has been a good personal storage platform for us to use ,partially due to its high ease of use. File uploads are easy.

Cons

One drive is only the best if the team already uses Microsoft products. If not, there are a lot of options in the market from Google and others which would be better alternatives with better customer support.

### "One Drive - pluses and minuses"

March 16, 2026

4.0

Positive overall, but it still needs work. The access is almost universal, but it needs to be completely transportable from one employer to another.

Pros

Accessibility to projects, as well as compliance standards, anywhere and at any time. It is indispensable. Engineering consultants in my field use this almost exclusively.

Cons

It doesn't like users who transfer from one job to another. You can end up losing Tbs of data. There needs to be a personal key - not an employer based one.

### "Reliable Cloud Storage with Strong Microsoft Integration"

April 14, 2026

5.0

I have been using OneDrive for a while and am generally very satisfied with it. It makes it easy to store, sync, and access files across different devices, and the integration with Microsoft 365 is especially helpful in daily work. I also like that it works well in the background and keeps my documents available whenever I need them. Overall, OneDrive is a practical and dependable solution for both personal and professional use.

Pros

OneDrive is very convenient because it allows me to access files from almost anywhere and keeps everything synchronized across desktop, web, and mobile devices. The connection with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft tools makes collaboration simple and efficient, especially in a business environment. I also appreciate the sharing options and the ability to work on files smoothly with colleagues, which saves time and supports productive teamwork.

Cons

OneDrive is not perfect, and I have occasionally noticed synchronization issues or delays when files are updated on multiple devices. The interface can sometimes feel a little cluttered, and some settings are not as straightforward as they could be. For users who are not already in the Microsoft ecosystem, the value may feel less compelling, since some of the best features are closely tied to Microsoft 365.

### "OneDrive is highly recommended"

February 27, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with OneDrive has been very positive. The platform provides a dependable and intuitive solution for storing, organising, and accessing files across multiple devices. Its synchronisation capabilities allow documents to remain up to date regardless of location, which has been particularly beneficial for flexible and remote working. In addition, the integration with other Microsoft 365 applications supports smooth collaboration, enabling teams to work on shared documents in real time and reducing the need for manual version control.

Pros

I liked how easy OneDrive made it to access and share files from anywhere. The ability to sync across devices and collaborate in real time was especially helpful. Backing up of files is really helpful too.

Cons

The aspect I liked least about OneDrive was the occasional synchronisation delays, which could disrupt workflow when files did not update immediately across devices.

### "Gold standard O365 user file retention"

July 27, 2025

4.0

It's a huge relief to have my work user's Documents and Desktop files always backed up. Being able to sync SharePoint folders to their File Manager/macOS Finder is icing on the cake but also works great.

Pros

Free with Windows. You just either need an Organization using O365 platform to have logins for it or if you are using this for home use, to setup a personal Microsoft account.

Cons

I noticed that with macOS, OneDrive sometimes will disconnect/not be running and my end users will reach out for help with why their files are not up to date (till I see the issue, and relog them in to force a fresh sync)

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing OneDrive

For MOST of our Staff, OneDrive is sufficient. There's some heavy users that needs tons of storage that Dropbox is a better solution for. For everything else, OneDrive suffices.

### "OneDrive - Perfect Addition to Your Microsoft Universe"

August 20, 2025

4.0

Pros

Once you are part of the "Microsoft Universe" each product works so well with the other. OneDrive is priced well and does exactly what you need it to. I also very much love the desktop integration with Windows File Explorer.

Cons

There are sometimes issues with delayed syncing and very rarely it has "lost" a file or document of mine.

### "Sturdy, reliable, the unflashy workhorse of cloud storage."

April 1, 2026

4.0

It is good; reliable and sturdy for business use. I would not be storing my personal details there though, as the lack of encryption puts it behind competitors in the field.

Pros

Uploading files is now simple, efficient and effective. I use both the desktop and mobile versions; the desktop to do the bulk of my work on, the mobile to upload photos to.

Cons

The lack of encryption or even the possibility that you could have this. It all feels a bit too open and slightly retro.

Cons

### "OneDrive - a cloud storage that everyone needs."

November 14, 2025

5.0

Very good. OneDrive can be integrated as a local folder in my computer, which saves a lot of time to organize the files.

Pros

I'm working as a IT support and have a Business Standard license that includes OneDrive. I usually use OneDrive to store my essential data that I may need when working onsite. OneDrive is better than other cloud drive because it has a user-friendly interface that takes me about 30 mins to get familiar with all functions.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a bit long to upload the files. It may be because of my internet plan. Searching files sometimes does not work very well in OneDrive.
