### "User-friendly software easy to use"

December 19, 2025

5.0

Average scores hover around 4.5/5 on review sites, driven by seamless Microsoft ecosystem compatibility and robust collaboration tools. Many professionals, including those in pharma and tech, highlight its value for real-time editing and cross-device access.

Pros

Users frequently praise OneDrive for effortless file access across devices, eliminating worries about hardware upgrades or data loss. Real-time collaboration on documents, with autosave and multi-user editing, enhances productivity significantly.

Cons

Complex permission settings often confuse users, leading to unintended access or overly restrictive shares. Lack of advanced search filters for large libraries further hampers efficiency.

### "OneDrive Review"

March 14, 2026

4.0

Pros

I use OneDrive regularly to store and share files with teammates across different teams. It works well with the Microsoft tools we already use like Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, which makes collaboration pretty seamless. I like that I can quickly share documents, manage permissions, and access files from anywhere. Overall, it’s a reliable tool for keeping work organized and collaborating with colleagues.

Cons

Version conflicts occasionally happen when multiple people edit files at the same time. Also, syncing large folders can sometimes be a bit slow.

### "Ups and Downs but overall not bad. "

August 12, 2025

4.0

OneDrive is a decent storage cloud. There is plenty of room on the free plan if you only store documents and not pictures, videos or books. It connects with my Windows computer which I find handy.

Pros

I like that it links folders to Windows and I can decide if I want to store documents on the drive or on my computer. I also like how easy it is to access when I open Microsoft Edge and Outlook. Actually all Microsoft products have that little square with the mini boxes to open and move in and out of their products easily.

Cons

I do not want to spend a lot on storage and when my storage gets full it is hard to delete files from OneDrive. Also, if you have more than one Microsoft account it is hard to get to the storage if you are logged into the wrong account in another Microsoft product.

### "One Drive is a Powerful Tool in Many Different Ways"

December 11, 2025

5.0

I highly recommend it due to it's ability for file access at all times and the transfer of large files which may not be transferable on a flash drive. The searching ability of OneDrive is also powerful allowing you to look for keywords in large amounts of files.

Pros

Easy to access and allows sharing with anyone I need to allow access. The system also allows me to access my own work remotely that I work on at the office from the field to home. Management and organization also is a great tool it offers.

Cons

You must pay attention when giving access to people outside the company because permissions will need to be changed before creating the link for persons not using our company email system.

### "Ok platform, does what it should, could be better"

February 19, 2026

4.0

It's the main platform for files sharing and management in the company, so I used it daily. After a while it becomes natural to work with it, but starting to use it might feel weird.

Pros

The autosave feature on microsoft office files is great. It can avoid a lot of problem while working with multiple people in the same document.

Cons

It's not as intuitive as other platforms, the web version has a not so friendly UI, so I usually prefer just integrating it to Windows Explorer.

### "OneDrive - An addictive tool"

March 2, 2026

5.0

I have used Onedrive for the last 4 years on a daily basis and have even used it to support my Automations and AI agents. It is a great tool, but waiting for the uploads sometimes becomes a reason to pause work.

Pros

OneDrive's the best tool for syncing and backup of data of organization. It is really useful when it comes to sharing documents and large files over emails to other colleagues.

Cons

Sometimes OneDrive syncing gets stuck when network connection is not stable, or is not sufficient to load large files. I have had this issue many a times when I upload a file on Onedrive and want to further share it with my team, but the sync takes very long and delays my work.

### "OneDrive, extremely handy for cloud based file backup and device transfer, occasional sync troubles"

May 5, 2025

3.0

Use OneDrive to ensure that files are backed up to the cloud in case of fatal computer error, can make transfers to new devices smooth and effortless when user is fully updated and has maintained OneDrive login, but can make them extremely difficult when having to update cloud with large number of files and/or longer file path lengths (that may be difficult to change due to the desire to match other filing systems).

Pros

Provides a relatively seamless, effortless, and secure method to back up files without having to store them locally.

Cons

In my profession can experience frequent file path length transfer issues. Users may not want files backed up so they may disable OneDrive, and when re-enabling for sync there can be significant errors in backup when comparing old files to updated versions. Very often in those situations end up missing files but not knowing which ones, files don't show as properly sync'd, feature to force sync update either requires removing or downloading locally as far as I can tell, etc.

### "Easy, reliable cloud storage that works seamlessly with Microsoft tools"

March 9, 2026

5.0

Overall, OneDrive has been a great tool for managing and storing documents. It’s straightforward to use, secure and integrates perfectly with the Microsoft ecosystem. Being able to access files from anywhere and share them easily with colleagues makes collaboration much simpler. It has definitely improved how we organise and store important files.

Pros

OneDrive is extremely easy to use and makes storing and sharing files simple. The integration with Microsoft apps like Word, Excel and Outlook works seamlessly, which is great for day-to-day work. It’s also very reliable for backing up important documents and accessing them from different devices. The search function is quick, and the ability to organise folders keeps everything tidy and easy to find.

Cons

There’s very little to dislike. Occasionally large file uploads can take a little longer depending on internet speed, but overall the platform works smoothly and reliably.

### "The management of our language materials of Scandinavian language."

March 26, 2026

5.0

It is important to have our curriculum open. I have used it to store the resources of our teaching and to organize student assignments. It also offers a very dependable platform on which to conduct day-to-day education administration, however the direct downloading of large audio or video files through the browser can be painfully slow to our remote students.

Pros

It is unrealistic in terms of its ease of use when it comes to file upload and document management where our teachers can effortlessly organize grammar worksheets and distribute the course materials to our language students.

Cons

Increasing our cloud storage of big multimedia files is not a good value on a small school budget, and video sharing features are also very bulky, and customer service is virtually non-existent to small educational accounts.

### "Good document management platform"

February 4, 2026

5.0

Overall great, despite having setbacks in file transfer speeds or issues in file access management, its overall a good platform to make file transfer and sharing seamless.

Pros

This is our main platform software and drive for sharing files across our workplace. Syncing data and real time updates across different folders makes productivity seamless.

Cons

Performance varies a lot as sometimes file transfer may take a very long time. There may be some issues I have encountered accessing file permissions.

### "IT-Systemadministrator"

March 27, 2026

Overall, OneDrive is a reliable and well‑integrated solution for enterprise file storage and collaboration. From an administrative point of view, it offers a good balance between control, security and usability.

Pros

From an admin perspective, OneDrive integrates very well into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Sync works well across Windows, macOS and mobile devices. Features like Known Folder Move, conditional access, and audit logging make it easier to manage data security and compliance without adding extra tools.

Cons

Troubleshooting sync issues can still be time‑consuming, especially when users have large libraries or long file paths. Error messages are often not very helpful for end users, which means admins get involved more often than necessary.

### "Good Cloud Storage That Works Well with Microsoft"

January 14, 2026

5.0

Overall, OneDrive has been a solid and dependable tool for everyday file storage and sharing. It works well with Microsoft Office, and makes collaboration easy.

Pros

OneDrive works really well with Microsoft Office and makes it easy to store, access, and share files from anywhere. Syncing is dependable, collaboration is simple, and it’s convenient having everything built into the Microsoft ecosystem instead of juggling multiple platforms.

Cons

Syncing issues pop up occasionally, especially when working with large folders or lots of files, and it’s not always clear what’s causing them. Sharing permissions can also be confusing at times.

### "Onedrive da tenere in considerazione"

February 22, 2026

5.0

Cons

Piano gratis da 5 GB carente , Assistenza clienti lenta , Mancanza di privacy , Funzionalità ritenute base, come la gestione offline, possono richiedere abbonamenti premium.

### "Brilliant - love One Drive!"

March 3, 2026

5.0

I use this system every day and think it is absolutely brilliant - it allows me to access documents on both my laptop & phone with ease.

Pros

One Drive has great versatility, it is so easy to use and has brilliant storage facility, even for free users.

Cons

There really is not much at all that I dislike about One Drive, I use the system every day so I guess more free storage would be great.

### "Freedom Files!!"

December 12, 2025

5.0

I would have to say i love the stability and security using OneDrive, it even has a Personal Vault feature to be able to lock certain files away which is really handy for when you need to upload those sensitive files. I will continue to monitor over the next few weeks but everything is working great in the meantime.

Pros

I've just recently stated using OneDrive for document sharing around the office. It allows real time access of files that a stored within the cloud and im able to share to multiple people simultaneously. It has given me more freedom now that im able to access my files remotely being to easy to use and the best thing about it is its free. Talk about value for money!! So far so good.

Cons

One feature that i dislike is that it gives me a bit of trouble when trying to sign in between different accounts. I've encountered this problem twice in 2 days now which is a little frustrating.

### "OneDrive Works Well at Work"

December 19, 2025

5.0

One drive works well for my work needs. Yes, there are some unintuitive aspects of it related to sharing links and managing access, but overall it functions well.

Pros

What I like most about OneDrive is the ability to have all my workfiles in the cloud. This provides for easy access.

Cons

I find the interface a bit bloated and clunky like most Microsoft products. There are just too many menu options and ways to do the same thing.

Overall good. I used dropbox previously and it is pretty much the same. Easy to navigate through and share files with people inside and outside my organization.

Pros

Simple to use but is a little confusing to differentiate between Sharepoint and onedrive. Also sometimes hard to understand permissions when sharing files with people inside and outside my company.

Cons

can sometimes be hard to navigate to what folders I want to access once I log in because those files are technically on sharepoint
