### "OneDrive Review"

March 14, 2026

4.0

Pros

I use OneDrive regularly to store and share files with teammates across different teams. It works well with the Microsoft tools we already use like Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, which makes collaboration pretty seamless. I like that I can quickly share documents, manage permissions, and access files from anywhere. Overall, it’s a reliable tool for keeping work organized and collaborating with colleagues.

Cons

Version conflicts occasionally happen when multiple people edit files at the same time. Also, syncing large folders can sometimes be a bit slow.

### "Ok platform, does what it should, could be better"

February 19, 2026

4.0

It's the main platform for files sharing and management in the company, so I used it daily. After a while it becomes natural to work with it, but starting to use it might feel weird.

Pros

The autosave feature on microsoft office files is great. It can avoid a lot of problem while working with multiple people in the same document.

Cons

It's not as intuitive as other platforms, the web version has a not so friendly UI, so I usually prefer just integrating it to Windows Explorer.

### "OneDrive for Anywhere No Fuss File Access"

June 7, 2025

4.0

I wish OneDrive were easier to manage what gets uploaded or 'Synced' and what gets left alone. I'm sure there are guides that I just have not found that may clear things up. Overall, OneDrive works for my needs and when I figure out how to use more of its features, OneDrive will be more useful to me.

Pros

I can take my work anywhere. OneDrive allows me to upload my files so I can get to them anywhere I have access to the internet.

Cons

OneDrive can be difficult to manage what gets uploaded and what gets left alone on your PC. Even many of the YouTube guides were not making much sense.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing OneDrive

I'm more familiar with OneDrive and Microsoft than I was with Wasabi. So name recognition was the main reason at that time.

### "OneDrive - An addictive tool"

March 2, 2026

5.0

I have used Onedrive for the last 4 years on a daily basis and have even used it to support my Automations and AI agents. It is a great tool, but waiting for the uploads sometimes becomes a reason to pause work.

Pros

OneDrive's the best tool for syncing and backup of data of organization. It is really useful when it comes to sharing documents and large files over emails to other colleagues.

Cons

Sometimes OneDrive syncing gets stuck when network connection is not stable, or is not sufficient to load large files. I have had this issue many a times when I upload a file on Onedrive and want to further share it with my team, but the sync takes very long and delays my work.

### "MSP Middle Managements 6 Year Experience "

January 12, 2026

5.0

I have used Onedrive for about 6 years now in management and having the ability to have access to my documents wherever I am is wonderful.

Pros

As a person in middle management who works hybrid I work on multiple computers and having access to documents from whichever machine I work on is super helpful.

Cons

The website is not great, navigation could be better and just getting to it without having to navigate other menus would be helpful.

### "Easy, reliable cloud storage that works seamlessly with Microsoft tools"

March 9, 2026

5.0

Overall, OneDrive has been a great tool for managing and storing documents. It’s straightforward to use, secure and integrates perfectly with the Microsoft ecosystem. Being able to access files from anywhere and share them easily with colleagues makes collaboration much simpler. It has definitely improved how we organise and store important files.

Pros

OneDrive is extremely easy to use and makes storing and sharing files simple. The integration with Microsoft apps like Word, Excel and Outlook works seamlessly, which is great for day-to-day work. It’s also very reliable for backing up important documents and accessing them from different devices. The search function is quick, and the ability to organise folders keeps everything tidy and easy to find.

Cons

There’s very little to dislike. Occasionally large file uploads can take a little longer depending on internet speed, but overall the platform works smoothly and reliably.

### "The management of our language materials of Scandinavian language."

March 26, 2026

5.0

It is important to have our curriculum open. I have used it to store the resources of our teaching and to organize student assignments. It also offers a very dependable platform on which to conduct day-to-day education administration, however the direct downloading of large audio or video files through the browser can be painfully slow to our remote students.

Pros

It is unrealistic in terms of its ease of use when it comes to file upload and document management where our teachers can effortlessly organize grammar worksheets and distribute the course materials to our language students.

Cons

Increasing our cloud storage of big multimedia files is not a good value on a small school budget, and video sharing features are also very bulky, and customer service is virtually non-existent to small educational accounts.

### "OneDrive - Minimum Requirement for Business Devices"

November 20, 2025

5.0

Overall it is a great product that offers users a good level of device backup and sharing capabilities while not charging extra for any 365 licensed users. Working for several MSP's, this is a key and invaluable software for many years to come.

Pros

OneDrive offers a good level of device backup capability for key folders, removing the requirements for dedicated endpoint backup solutions at a much better value (covered under 365 licensing) with a good base level of storage that most end users will not exceed. It is easy to use and allows for easy file uploading and sharing with external parties. Customer support if needed is acceptable but forum support is general better.

Cons

OneDrive does suffer some functionality issues, such as crashing, issues with syncing to/from shared locations and struggles when handling the sync of larger SharePoint sites.

### "IT-Systemadministrator"

March 27, 2026

4.0

Overall, OneDrive is a reliable and well‑integrated solution for enterprise file storage and collaboration. From an administrative point of view, it offers a good balance between control, security and usability.

Pros

From an admin perspective, OneDrive integrates very well into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Sync works well across Windows, macOS and mobile devices. Features like Known Folder Move, conditional access, and audit logging make it easier to manage data security and compliance without adding extra tools.

Cons

Troubleshooting sync issues can still be time‑consuming, especially when users have large libraries or long file paths. Error messages are often not very helpful for end users, which means admins get involved more often than necessary.

### "Great tool for on the go teams!"

April 9, 2026

5.0

I like the overall ease of use and ability to share things within our organization. It makes remote work much easier!

Pros

I love that OneDrive allows me the ease of accessing my files when I am on the go. Not having things tied to one computer/laptop makes life so much easier. It is helpful that everyone on the team can access what we need from nearly anywhere.

Cons

I am not always sure if I have securely "hidden" some files that my staff do not need to access due to confidentiality.

### "Reliable Cloud Storage with Seamless Microsoft Integration"

April 23, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with OneDrive has been reliable and convenient, especially for storing and accessing files across multiple devices. It makes it easy to keep documents, photos, and files organized in one place while allowing quick access from a phone, tablet, or computer.

Pros

What I liked most about OneDrive is how seamlessly it integrates with the Microsoft ecosystem. If you’re already using tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook, everything works together smoothly, making it easy to save, access, and share files without extra steps.

Cons

One thing I liked least about OneDrive is the limited free storage. Compared to some other cloud services, the free plan fills up quickly, especially if you’re storing photos, videos, or large files.

Over the experience has been good and it's been vital to my business and my overall experience personally.

Pros

Cons

### "Onedrive da tenere in considerazione"

February 22, 2026

5.0

Cons

Piano gratis da 5 GB carente , Assistenza clienti lenta , Mancanza di privacy , Funzionalità ritenute base, come la gestione offline, possono richiedere abbonamenti premium.

### "User-friendly software easy to use"

December 19, 2025

5.0

Average scores hover around 4.5/5 on review sites, driven by seamless Microsoft ecosystem compatibility and robust collaboration tools. Many professionals, including those in pharma and tech, highlight its value for real-time editing and cross-device access.

Pros

Users frequently praise OneDrive for effortless file access across devices, eliminating worries about hardware upgrades or data loss. Real-time collaboration on documents, with autosave and multi-user editing, enhances productivity significantly.

Cons

Complex permission settings often confuse users, leading to unintended access or overly restrictive shares. Lack of advanced search filters for large libraries further hampers efficiency.

### "I love OneDrive "

April 22, 2026

5.0

I love OneDrive. It is my most used app as it has basically everything I need to do my job and keep me organized.

Pros

I love that it is the one place that has everything. It has my meetings, my work schedule, my personal schedule, and all of my emails (obviously) all in one. It is truly my most use app/browser and I love that you can use the browser version or the app version.

Cons

There is nothing I truly like least about one drive. I wish that they could come up with a better way of unsending emails, and giving me notifications of whether or not it was unsent or not.

### "One Drive is a Powerful Tool in Many Different Ways"

December 11, 2025

5.0

I highly recommend it due to it's ability for file access at all times and the transfer of large files which may not be transferable on a flash drive. The searching ability of OneDrive is also powerful allowing you to look for keywords in large amounts of files.

Pros

Easy to access and allows sharing with anyone I need to allow access. The system also allows me to access my own work remotely that I work on at the office from the field to home. Management and organization also is a great tool it offers.

Cons

You must pay attention when giving access to people outside the company because permissions will need to be changed before creating the link for persons not using our company email system.

### "Brilliant - love One Drive!"

March 3, 2026

5.0

I use this system every day and think it is absolutely brilliant - it allows me to access documents on both my laptop & phone with ease.

Pros

One Drive has great versatility, it is so easy to use and has brilliant storage facility, even for free users.

Cons

There really is not much at all that I dislike about One Drive, I use the system every day so I guess more free storage would be great.

### "Reliable cloud storage every student needs"

June 26, 2025

5.0

Overall, OneDrive has made managing my academic life much easier. I use it daily to store notes, submit assignments, and collaborate with classmates. The ability to access and edit files from any device gives me great flexibility. It’s an essential tool for any student who needs reliable and secure cloud storage.

Pros

OneDrive is incredibly helpful for students like me who need to access files across multiple devices. I love how it automatically backs up my documents so I never lose my assignments. It syncs seamlessly with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, making it easy to work on files directly from the cloud. I also appreciate the generous free storage that comes with my student account.

Cons

Sometimes the syncing process is a bit slow, especially when working with large files or during poor internet connection. Also, the storage limit can become an issue once I upload many presentations and PDFs unless I upgrade to a paid plan. The mobile app is good, but file organization could be slightly more intuitive.

### "Best standard file storage "

December 7, 2025

4.0

OneDrive makes teamwork really easy in our office. It’s fast, reliable, and works across all our devices. Everyone can open the same spreadsheets, make edits instantly, and save changes without any hassle. It keeps us all on the same page.

Pros

It’s completely free on Windows. All you need is an account to sign in—either your organization’s Office 365 login or, if you’re using it at home, simply a personal Microsoft account.

Cons

Sometimes on macOS, OneDrive randomly signs out or stops running in the background. When that happens, my users usually contact me wondering why their files aren’t updating. I end up having to log them back in to kickstart a fresh sync.

Pros

This is our main platform software and drive for sharing files across our workplace. Syncing data and real time updates across different folders makes productivity seamless.

Cons

### "OneDrive is reliable in the background"

April 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, I my experience is that Onedrive is smooth and reliable. Most of the time, I don't have to worry if its working or not, I just know that it is.

Pros

I liked how it was so automatic. I don't have to consciously think if my files are getting to the right place. I just know that they are. If they get to my local onedrive folder on my computer, with time they will get synced to a secure storage in the cloud. Makes my concerns about syncing files between workstations disappear.

Cons

I had a particularly poor experience when I tried to move a git code repository into my OneDrive. I forget the fine details of what went wrong, but I remember that it really struggled to know which files to sync and basically gummed the whole upload system for days.
