### "AMAZING NOTE TAKING "

January 8, 2020

5.0

OneDrive helps me stay more organized as a student, because all programs are in one place under my TXST account. As someone who thrives when things are functional and organized, One Drive allowed me to be successful.

Pros

One Drive is the ultimate student hub for all things you need during your undergrad studies. On OneDrive, you can save any Microsoft documents and access them anywhere that you have an internet connection. Specifically I use One Note for taking notes on my iPad and it has saved my life! I would not be the successful student I am if it were not for OneDrive and it's features.

Cons

The feature I liked the least was the speed of the app- but I believe that the delay was due to using the app on my iPad. Sometimes, it would take several minutes to load one page of notes, but again, I don't believe it was the actual program's fault.

### "Reliable and safe storage tool"

February 6, 2020

5.0

My overall experience with OneDrive has been phenomenal, I never lost my files and data again and everything is safely saved there and accessible from my computer or my phone.

Pros

I love its storage space and how easily I can save all my phone pictures, personal files, and business data in one single platform. I use it to automatically save everything and I save on my computer and on my phone so that nothing is ever lost and I can access it anywhere!

Cons

Sometimes it takes a little more time to update than I would like, i.e. I save something on my PC directly into one of my OneDrive folders and when I try to access it there directly, sometimes it's not there yet, so I have to reopen it from the software that created it.

### "One of the best options for cloud storage!"

October 14, 2021

4.0

OneDrive is great for a personal storage option. It's quick and easy to use. My overall experience with it, is good. I use another services nowadays. It needs to improve some things.

Pros

I use OneDrive syncing and storage since I started using Windows 10, it comes with it. It is kind of pricey if you need A LOT of storage, but for a few dollars Microsoft offers you some 100gb, which is nice for important files, photos, some videos, no more than that. It syncs with Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows, and it's great as a collab tool. Accessibility is quick and features an autosave option.

Cons

For a few dollars you get less than other similar services. File size limits sometimes are really low. User interface could be better.

### "Save and access your docs from anywhere"

December 9, 2018

4.0

Overall, OneDrive is a good way to secure your data, and provides a reliable backup. If you have the bandwidth, OneDrive is good primary storage, especially when using Microsoft products.

Pros

\- OneDrive enables me to save and access my documents from virtually anywhere. - Sharing with work colleges is a good way to collaborate. - Students who have access as part of school or uni, can work on documents collaboratively to produce better study notes. - Linking with the Microsoft Office products across the board

Cons

I’ve had issues where I have had multiple accounts, for example work, personal and study. - the accounts seem to get connected with each other and have caused some issues when the secured work account is primary.

### "Frist Cloud Storage in history"

February 24, 2021

4.0

Platform could use some interface upgrades, they are getting better by the day. 5GB free is more than nothing but there are some also free options that offer you more free space.

Pros

This the first cloud storage I ever used.

Cons

This is a great option for small projects. Free option gives you 5GB of space and it is pretty fast in uploading and downloading. You can deploy anything you want and also share it with you friends and collogues as long as it is legal. If you decide to use premium option it gives you 1TB of space which is pretty much and I never used 5% of it.

### "Files always available wherever"

December 8, 2019

5.0

I have used One Drive as a documentation repository for my development projects while serving as a backup medium and allowing me to share these files and the possible modifications that any team member makes. In this way the team always has at its disposal the most up-to-date information anywhere and at any time.

Pros

What I like most about this tool is to be able to backup my files in the cloud just by placing them in the One Drive folder on my PC and also being able to share these files with my work team, no matter where they are.

Cons

Special care must be taken when you manage your local directory and at the same time your folder in the cloud as this can generate conflicts in the synchronization and you could delete or duplicate files involuntarily.

### "OneDrive Is A Great Cloud Option"

March 15, 2019

5.0

I have been thoroughly pleased with OneDrive. I am thankful to be able to look back on my files and pictures in an organized way, especially my wedding pictures! I accidentally deleted some precious pictures when trying to arrange them in a folder without realizing it, but OneDrive emailed me about deleting multiple files and I was able to recover them easily. I am so thankful for that attention.

Pros

OneDrive has made it very easy for me to sync up my phone with my PC. I have my documents and information on auto-save, so I don't ever struggle with losing files. I have an iPhone and a PC, so I used to struggle with the fact that I didn't have an Apple computer with iCloud. However, since using OneDrive, I've never lost a document or photo. I have years of data backed up, AND I don't have to keep it all on my devices where they take up storage space. The app on my phone is easy to use, and I can access my files anywhere from the OneDrive website.

Cons

I initially did not understand the restrictions around how much storage space I had, but all it took was some research into the OneDrive website to clarify how easy it was to upgrade my storage amount.

### "Microsoft OneDrive is an obvious choice for any organization already using O365."

December 19, 2017

4.0

Pros

I think that OneDrive offers just as many features as many of the other popular cloud based file storage systems. On top of all of that Microsoft is able to leverage their O365 platform to integrate OneDrive into many of the programs you use on a daily basis. You can easily start a document or spreadsheet on the desktop versions of Word or Excel and then finish them up on the O365 cloud. Any changes that are made to documents are immediately synced. You can also pull up previous revisions of documents which is a handy feature if your documents are edited by a large number of people.

Cons

Since OneDrive is so deeply integrated within the Office suite of products I would have to say that if someone is using a different set of programs, such as G-Suite, there are alternatives out there that may play better with those apps.

### "Brilliant but expensive"

September 20, 2018

5.0

This is the best free storage by far and thank you Google for giving us the use of it. I am able to keep all of my documents in one place and organised without too much trouble. No more failing hard drives losing all of my documents.

Pros

This is really easy to use and you can even have a windows file explorer version making it even better. Moving files in the windows file explorer version is really efficient. The structure is solid and very reliable, keeping my files safe and accessible. They even have an offline version which doesn't clog your hard drive. The storage limits are very generous but beware. They often give you high limits and when you are over them, they reduce the limit so that they can charge you a fee.

Cons

Moving files in this product is awkward and time-consuming. You pretty much have to use the Windows file explorer version to make it viable in a business setting. The storage limits are very generous but beware. They often give you high limits and when you are over them, they reduce the limit so that they can charge you a fee. This really turns me off of an otherwise awesome free product.

### "Easy Online Storage"

December 9, 2019

4.0

One drive offered a good solution for our storage needs. The security is basic and the ability to share with other users is a bit less than I would like but it fulfilled our needs for a number of years.

Pros

Simplicity of operation is the best feature. We used a local network drive and Dropbox and Box prior to moving to OneDrive. All were pretty good solutions but OneDrive offered the simplest setup and operation. When we set it up as a shared drive it operated exactly as we wished. The wired hard drive we had is possibly the closest in operation to OneDrive.

Cons

We needed to grow our storage beyond the single shared drive that one drive offered. The logical move for us was Office365 business with sharepoint. Essentially a common one drive but with a lot of security features

### "More Important Now then Ever"

October 30, 2020

5.0

It has been very smooth from the start. It will be a critical tool for me for years to come.

Pros

I have used OneDrive for a couple of years to store important documents as back-up. But when the COVID crisis hit, I started saving all of my documents to the site so that I could access my business documents from home (or anywhere). When my employer had to close the building temporarily, I didn't miss a beat because I could access all my files from home. And when I went back to the office, it was seamless.

Cons

There really isn't anything that I'm not happy with. However, I have found that I have to be sure that the versions of Word or Excel are the same for each device I am using, or the updates to documents may not be saved.

### "Good team collaboration platform"

June 25, 2020

5.0

We use it in our team to track testing our apps and other project documents. It's very helpful and integration with other office 365 things are seamless, as it should be.

Pros

Coupled with office 365 for business this allows us to collaborate with documents, spreadsheets and the like. I prefer it to Dropbox. Easy to share files on Windows as well as web.

Cons

Have had problems with Office apps on Windows 10 syncing files with the account and logs me out which is frustrating to say the least.

### "OneDrive can store different files that is important for work, school and more."

April 2, 2023

Microsoft OneDrive is a feature-rich cloud storage service with various pricing tiers, a user-friendly interface, and extensive support. An issue is that zero-knowledge encryption is not present.

Pros

It can sync with Windows and Microsoft.

Cons

It is quite expensive compared to other storage applications.

### "Really decent for storage and backup. Moreover a best way for file sharing."

July 21, 2018

5.0

Pros

OneDrive is being used now a days by millions of people around the world. IT is one of the excellent online application that keeps our backup in its cloud storage.I like the most thing about it is its synchronization feature. I usually upload my files on it and it is not difficult to open them where ever I go. I would highly recommend OneDrive to others.

Cons

I have been using OneDrive for a very long time but I am limited to just 5 GB storage limit. In the beginning I realized it would be sufficient for my usage but after that is finished in a very less time but on the other hand OneDrive also offers premium packages which one can easily buy for increasing storage limit.

### "Better choice for file storage"

October 18, 2019

5.0

It is a storage option as simple as it is wonderful, it has allowed everyone to access the platform to acquire any document or schedule that they need in a simple and organized way. This has allowed us to improve the time of many processes in the company, because the traffic of information is now much faster with all the information available to everyone who needs it.

Pros

This cloud is one of the best due to all its features and storage plans, it allows you to access in a simple way from any device and acquire the necessary information as well as update or upload new files quickly.

Cons

I have had problems with some files on certain devices or when there is slow connection to the internet, you can download the defective file and you have to repeat the process.

### "Excellent application to store content"

July 27, 2018

5.0

I have benefited in freeing space in my mobile with photos I can save them by category or as I want to group them and I have access to them from any device

Pros

I like to use Onedrive to save my photos and documents since it has a wide variety of functions that can be used without any problem, what I like most about this application is that I can access it from any device with my mail and password and have within reach everything I have stored in it, I have used it in my cell phone, tablet and on a computer everything depends on when I need it, allows files to be saved in folders and if I need to share a file with any other person I can allows to do this is really excellent is not necessary to send by mail and as I said before I can open or download at any time, also allows you to create backup copies in the device in case of any inconvenience, another important thing that has is its storage capacity in very broad and this makes it more functional.

Cons

I know that the business version can be a bit more expensive than the conventional one, another point would be that you need to have internet connection to enter the content and in some opportunities you may have problems to perform the synchronization

### "Overall, it does what it claims to do-stores your docs in the cloud and allows retrieval anywhere. "

November 7, 2017

4.0

Pros

The ability to write and upload docs on the fly is a fantastic ability. As linked to the word processing, spreadsheet, and other software, it allows me to create and save nearly instantaneously. If I need to share with colleagues, I can do so via several methods. Storage can be a problem if you are high volume, but for the average user, this works quite well. For me, since I am a laptop or tablet only user, I have to take into consideration that hard drives can self-destruct without warning. Using OneDrive eliminates the worry of what happens to my work if-heaven forbid-my hardware should malfunction or be otherwise compromised. All I need is new hardware, a password, and I'm back in business.

Cons

It will occaisionally lock up on the upload and cite password/account problems-when I haven't changed anything. I am unclear as to exactly the cause for the difficulty, but resetting the password fixes the problem-with some colorful language thrown in for good measure. It's not a deal breaker-just a handful of sand in the swimsuit sort of thing.

### "The best cloud storage and file sharing service"

January 13, 2021

5.0

We are using it to organize our comics for some time now and we are very happy with what it provides. The storage space is great and so are the tools at our disposal. We love it and will not switch any time soon.

Pros

It is easily set up and the Windows app is amazing. It syncs all the files realtime and we have yet to have any issues with it. The files are easily organizable and most documents can be edited online without the need to download them to the drive. Additionally, all Office files are synced real-time when editing as OneDrive integrates with Office for a very seamless service.

Cons

All about OneDrive is great except the annoying issue with too long file names having troubles syncing.

### "OneDrive makes my job much easier"

July 23, 2018

5.0

In my professional field, one Drive has helped me to have organized my work files, I can save the weekly presentations very easily and with the confidence that I will have them at hand from my tablet. I make my presentations with powerpoint and I reproduce them directly from the application when presenting the reports to the department heads.

Pros

I have all my files in one place, oneDrive gives me the possibility to save my video files with a smaller size thanks to the conversion of the format. At the same time they give me 5GB of space for free allowing me to have my files sorted through folders. One of the advantages that I use the most is to be able to attach work files in my emails, it is too easy and practical.

Cons

I can only limit a couple of things that I do not like very much and it would be that if I want to increase the capacity of onedrive to 1TB it is necessary to pay a license and besides the files that I share can be modified by other people. But in general lines it is an excellent choice of storage in the cloud. Meet my expectations.

### "Accessible and Reliable Cloud Drive"

February 22, 2019

5.0

I trust OneDrive to backup my photos on my phone, keep my household documents in check, capture screenshots and help with keeping my computer running like a champ by unloading items off the hard drive that are not needed to be grabbed without internet.

Pros

I love that it comes with my Office 365 subscription and the space I'm allowed per account is perfect for managing an entire family. Between work and school and trying to keep life combined in a OneDrive, the space can be eaten up quicker than most would probably think.

Cons

Hm, that's kind of hard to say. One time, I was renaming files and it began to throw away the file after I renamed it. Luckily I was able to retrieve it out of the trash but it took me awhile to figure out.

### "OneDrive"

July 11, 2020

4.0

Recommended to all organisations and individuals. I just love the experience.

Pros

As I was enabled working from home, we were not given fully access to the shared drive we used at office. My PC was also replaced and I lost my files that I had saved on my desktop. I had to find some way to store my files somewhere I don't lose and that I could access to it from any device. Then this IT guy from office recommended me to use one drive to store all my files and not to lose them. Since then I've been using this with no problem at all. It works like you save to a normal folder and later syncs automatically with the account. The free storage helps alot. With OneDrive I have no fear of losing my files even if my PC breaks down.

Cons

There's nothing that I dislike about this software so far. I believe one drive protect all my files with no problem.

OneDrive is an integral part of our media company. I record on one computer and process on another. It makes the procedure easy and fast.

Pros

### "A great way to free up computer space!"

March 13, 2018

5.0

It allows for seamless sharing of files between computers with no thought or effort. Having no extra steps has saved HOURS of time and keeps everything updated.

Pros

The price is low to no cost if you have credit from other products which makes it a no-brainer. It runs in the file manager as a part of the computer making it super easy to save to and load from. I use many computers for work and it is a huge convenience to have everything easily accessible without having to carry around a physical memory device.

Cons

Sometimes it will lose connection to the cloud and can be a pain to reconnect. It can also occasionally be laggy when uploading new files or replacing files that have been saved as a newer version.
