### "The One Place to keep all your files"

May 20, 2026

### "Reliable cloud storage every student needs"

June 26, 2025

5.0

Overall, OneDrive has made managing my academic life much easier. I use it daily to store notes, submit assignments, and collaborate with classmates. The ability to access and edit files from any device gives me great flexibility. It’s an essential tool for any student who needs reliable and secure cloud storage.

Pros

OneDrive is incredibly helpful for students like me who need to access files across multiple devices. I love how it automatically backs up my documents so I never lose my assignments. It syncs seamlessly with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, making it easy to work on files directly from the cloud. I also appreciate the generous free storage that comes with my student account.

Cons

Sometimes the syncing process is a bit slow, especially when working with large files or during poor internet connection. Also, the storage limit can become an issue once I upload many presentations and PDFs unless I upgrade to a paid plan. The mobile app is good, but file organization could be slightly more intuitive.

I recently switched from an Oppo phone to a Samsung device, and during that transition, I decided to look for apps that were more optimized and better integrated with Samsung’s ecosystem. That’s why I changed the software I was using.

### "OneDrive Works Well at Work"

December 19, 2025

5.0

One drive works well for my work needs. Yes, there are some unintuitive aspects of it related to sharing links and managing access, but overall it functions well.

Pros

What I like most about OneDrive is the ability to have all my workfiles in the cloud. This provides for easy access.

Cons

I find the interface a bit bloated and clunky like most Microsoft products. There are just too many menu options and ways to do the same thing.

### "High capacity Storage"

October 20, 2025

3.0

I like OneDrive because I never really have to interact with the program. It does what it needs to and if I run into any issues I can easily get support through my IT team.

Pros

This product is a great value. Uploading and storing are essentially easy with this program and it can be used in high capacity.

Cons

OneDrive works in the background, I never have to use it directly and so I haven't had the opportunity to explore or use its functions often.

### "OneDrive for Anywhere No Fuss File Access"

June 7, 2025

4.0

I wish OneDrive were easier to manage what gets uploaded or 'Synced' and what gets left alone. I'm sure there are guides that I just have not found that may clear things up. Overall, OneDrive works for my needs and when I figure out how to use more of its features, OneDrive will be more useful to me.

Pros

I can take my work anywhere. OneDrive allows me to upload my files so I can get to them anywhere I have access to the internet.

Cons

OneDrive can be difficult to manage what gets uploaded and what gets left alone on your PC. Even many of the YouTube guides were not making much sense.

Pros

Microsoft OneDrive is a reliable cloud storage solution that integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It makes storing, syncing, and sharing files across devices simple and efficient.

Cons

The interface may feel less intuitive for users who are not familiar with the Microsoft Eco system. Other than that it has no Cons.

### "Ups and Downs but overall not bad. "

August 12, 2025

4.0

OneDrive is a decent storage cloud. There is plenty of room on the free plan if you only store documents and not pictures, videos or books. It connects with my Windows computer which I find handy.

Pros

I like that it links folders to Windows and I can decide if I want to store documents on the drive or on my computer. I also like how easy it is to access when I open Microsoft Edge and Outlook. Actually all Microsoft products have that little square with the mini boxes to open and move in and out of their products easily.

Cons

I do not want to spend a lot on storage and when my storage gets full it is hard to delete files from OneDrive. Also, if you have more than one Microsoft account it is hard to get to the storage if you are logged into the wrong account in another Microsoft product.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing OneDrive

Extremely useful for a small business, particularly with people working at home. We can all be working on shared documents which are live, and are confident it's saved.

### "A Solid Document Management Tool"

February 17, 2026

5.0

Overall my company and I have had a good experience in our use of OneDrive. It is easy to use and has helped us keep our files neat.

Pros

OneDrive has been a staple in the workplace for a long time. It is easy to use, search documents by name or content, and overall manage it. Uploading is super easy and it comes free with a decent amount of storage space with decently priced upgrades. Works good on computers and phones!

Cons

There honestly hasn't been anything I didn't like about OneDrive asides from the initial amount of free storage being rather small.

### "Great platform for collaborating!"

March 31, 2026

5.0

OneDrive is great and is a very useful tool especially for our team that is scattered across the US and not in one central place to be able to collaborate in real time.

Pros

We would be lost without OneDrive! It is such a useful tool for us to be able to collaborate no matter where our employees are.

Cons

One thing I would change about One Drive is that sometimes it can be clunky to remove access of a specific file.

### "Microsoft Drives best with OneDrive"

April 21, 2026

5.0

Great experience when I want simple cloud storage, file syncing and sharing big art files. Syncs files across devices easily Available on PC, Mac, iPhone, Android, and web.

Pros

It is so well integrated with Microsoft that makes sharing huge files really fast and efficient. It's a seamless tool and feels secure and reliable. It's an industry standard.

Cons

It's not a system that's good for backing up - need to be careful when deleting files. The moment I delete a file on my system, it will delete it everywhere. I also don't like that the file name is always generic so when I download multiple files, it's hard to keep track and have to unzip each one.

### "Okay storage but prefer Google"

January 22, 2026

4.0

I do because the company provides it. Very Safe and lots of storage. But for the user experience, there are other tools I prefer. It gets the job done for saving files but let's face it, not very pleasant to use every day.

Pros

Decent integration if you are on Windows laptop. The sync speed is good enough for small text files and code. I use it to backup my personal stuff. Office 365 connectivity is nice to have if you edit Word or Excel a lot.

Cons

The sync client also tends to freeze on my laptop and I need to close and open the application. It eats much RAM in background that slows an IDE for coding. Compared to Drive, sharing link permission is not really intuitive at all. It feels a little slow, and navigating the folders can be a bit tricky.

### "Great Product"

August 21, 2025

5.0

Overall I love one drive for my business, made it easy when I was changing over to anew computer and still have all my stuff.

Pros

It autosaves all my documents for me which is amazing since I am constantly writing up quotes and receipts

Cons

Sometimes the autosave is annoying if I start using a template and it saves my changes before I get a chance to save under another title.

### "OneDrive is a fantastic app I have ever used"

May 17, 2026

5.0

Overall, onedrive is an app that is very easy to use, its interface is friendly. It is one of the best file storing and syncing app I have ever used.

Pros

I like the fact that it has an automatic backup system. I like the fact that its storage capacity is enough for me as it is quite large, although one may needs to procure more storage by making payment. It is fast when uploading documents. It is so good in managing documents.

Cons

The con I can say I have for onedrive is that one needs to pay in order to have more storage. Aside that ,every other things is good.

### "Be Careful Before Installing One Drive"

February 18, 2026

3.0

Very Bad. Trying to correct issues with Outlook pst file has already comsumed around 20 hours and several phone calls to tech support on use of decontamination software. I still have a huge task ahead to sort out decontaminated fill due to loss of organization coupled with significant amount of information that apparently was in pst file but never completely deleted. psdt file increased from around 3.5 gig to 7.6 gig.

Pros

OneDrive did backup files as advertised. It installed easily and seemed to do what it was designed to to. However, it has some significant drawbacks as discussed in the Cons section.

Cons

If you use Outlook, OneDrive uploads can contaminate pst files so badly that you must purchase software to reclaim. Recliamed files may contain all documents, but also contain documents deleted many years ago, and file does not contain organization heiracy of original file. It will take days to sort out pst file, and it probably still will be missing information. For me, OneDrive has been a huge disaster. Now I am trying to remove from computer, but this is a difficult task that is much more complicated than just uninstalling the program since the uninstall does not remove default file locations in various programs. Personally, I would never use this software again.

### "Finest cloud storage tool"

January 29, 2026

Overall it is one of the best tools for cloud storage and the things that you can do in terms of sharing heavy files or collaborate on a project makes it really cool.

Pros

Really nice tool for storing your data and very nice it all your microsoft app can be easily integrated and connected with it.

Cons

While it is a nice tool sometime few things can be difficult for non-techie users , also if you heavy files on it sometime it can be very slow to open those files.

### "Simple & Reliable Cloud storage solution"

December 16, 2025

5.0

Overall, I highly recommend OneDrive. It has been very positive & a reliable cloud storage solution.

Pros

I enjoy using OneDrive, as it stores all my files and folders. I like how seamless it integrates with Microsoft 365. It saves, syncs & shares files across devices effortlessly. I use Outlook, Word, Excel & Teams often, so having the ability to access files from anywhere & collaborate in real time is great.

Cons

What I like least is that syncing conflicts and delay can possibly occur. Especially when working with large files or when multiple users edits files simultaneously.
