Every product requires good suport, the account management team are super responsive everytime I have needed them and the technical support is 2nd to none. Pros Solid product that offers similar features to the market leaders at a better pricepoint, all backed up by a great support channel. Absolutely fantastic product. Cons The product has very little not to like. Every time I think it would be nice to have this or that, its like they read my mind and the feature is coming in the next release. Their development team are very much in tune with real world needs. The product just seems to get better with every iteration. It provides strong VM protection, reliable restores, and good performance without the overhead or pricing of some larger enterprise platforms. For our environment, it strikes the right balance between capability and simplicity. Pros Reliable, straightforward, and "cost-effective." NAKIVO delivers enterprise-level features at a very competitive price, making it an outstanding value compared to other backup solutions we've evaluated. Cons There isn't much to dislike. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be the addition of a more structured certification and training program for administrators. While the documentation and support are excellent, an official certification path would be a great way to help IT professionals validate their expertise. Pros Can be hosted in TrueNas which is useful as a separate VM (jail in BSD) ; so target for backups is separate device with the nakivo hosted on it Cons Sometimes error messages dont help such as "Internal error" when a VM back up job fails. Your account manager will send trial license to test any features and best part an engineer will connect to install and configure at any time with no cost. This service is available after purchase as well. You want training for new employee's schedule for an engineer and they connect and go over all features with you. Pros NAKIVO engineers connect with you and go over your install and configuration and can schedule this free service any time after install to go over anything you have questions about. My biggest pro is you can go from texting support in the program or website to having a tier 3 engineer connecting to your computer to help with any issues that arise in minutes not hours. Cons No Cons as of today, have had couple errors that popped up and support was connected and resolved within minutes. Its a 2 minutes check now. Pros Its fire and forget. For long time I used other hyper-v backup solutions and the stability of the backup always was an issue, every weeks I needed hours to validate and correct problems, now I just spend 5 minutos to see that everything happen as supposed. With Nakivo its always fire and forget. No strange errors, you configure once and its done. The policy backup its great, you can create a policy with rules and when you create a new machine in the hypervisor a few minutes later its inside the backup job automatically. Cons The software its almost prefect, the only think that should be improved is the logging visibility. It is the one of the fast backup job applications. And it is very easy to do restore. Pros Backup storage space consuming by Nakivo is very less compared to other backup applications. We've used it for disaster recovery over a ransomware with flawless results.Support is great and responsive, with almost instant response.I recommend this solution to everyone with great confidence. Pros Nakivo has proven to be a lifesaver for us during a ransomware attack. Thanks to its powerful disaster recovery capabilities, we were able to recover all of our important files in just a matter of minutes. Within one day, all of our virtual machines were up and running again with no data loss. The support personnel were extremely helpful throughout the entire recovery process, guiding us every step of the way. We are extremely grateful for the flawless results and quick turnaround time that Nakivo provided us with during this critical time.
