Pros Ho scoperto Nakivo qualche anno fa creare un sistema sicuro di backup delle VMs VmWare e devo dire che ha rispettato a pieno le aspettative. Creating, editing and restoring jobs is no problem at all. Pros Nakivo is a very user-friendly backup solution. Installation is no problem for a reasonably trained system administrator. The use is more or less self-explanatory, but of course there is also a very good manual and an equally good knowledge base that leaves nothing to be desired. The support, which I have only had to use once in five years, is also very competent. Cons There is really nothing which i do not like. Review Source MG Mario G. Pros Easy to use, fast and compressed backups, good storage options at an affordable price Cons Support policy isn't the best. Once it's setup it's good to go, but implementing VMware backups can get complicated. In these cases, a previously prepared backup helped. Pros The most important thing is the reliability of this tool. It has saved me several times in my work. Cons I don't see any disadvantages of NAKIVO. For me it would be easier to have backups in the form of easily transferable files than a complicated repository, but of course I appreciate functionality and reliability above all. Pros We use Nakivo to back up our VPS servers and NAS devices. The UI and features are quite satisfactory with several expansion possibilities. We liked the new MSP feature where you can give specific access to users for specific machines. Cons There are features that we would like to be integrated such as the ability to exclude directories, the creation of an image for bare metal restore as well as the creation of Plesk integration to use Nakivo as a Plesk backup tool. I set everythign up becuase I needed to get backups going. My account manager set up a meeting with an engineer and we went over what I did. He had a couple of helpful suggestions. Pros Ease of integration, interface and job setup. Backup copy jobs were very simple to setup and take the options from the backup job. Customer support has been great when I did have a question. My account manager has been very attentive. Cons Can't think of anyting right now. Still need to look at the reporting. Cons The product could provide better visibility into the storage usage of VMs being backed up. When using forever incremental backups, there is no reporting capability making it difficult to account for storage on a per VM/customer level.
