Pros

Most of the time I can connect just fine, and the speed is alright. There are a lot of options for delivering the connection info. There is good reporting, and the ability to capture screens, as long as we are working from the office, and strong APIs.

Cons

The support is not so great. There are always long holds for phone support that almost always have to be escalated, which means a callback at a much later time. Email support is 24-hour turnaround for every single email exchanged no matter the issue, and their answer is too often something ANYONE would have already tried.

Great app, helpful for remote IT troubleshooting, it has been quite easy to use

Pros

My IT team uses LogMeIn Rescue to remotely connect to our PCs and resolve IT issues, it is easy to use, i can easily grant remote access to them.

Cons

For Macbooks you have to first to your security settings to grant the app access, also you first have to download the app multiple times whenever you need to use it.

Pros

I occasionally run into technical issues on my work computer. Logmein gives our technology specialist remote access to my work station to fix any said issues.

Cons

I think this software has been nothing but helpful. There have been many times when I couldn't figure out technical issues on my own

Pros

LogMeIn was very stable when we used it. When requesting a code it worked every time without fail. Connections held strong and were rarely dropped.

Cons

We stopped using this as our main point of screen- sharing. About a year ago. We still use them as a back up, but there are better cheaper products on the market. We switched to a product where all users had accounts and transferring via a link was simple. They really need to do some updates, the interface looks old and clunky

Its easy to use and it always works. Reliability is great and compatibility is even better. I wish it was cheaper

We have used LogMeIn for several years to troubleshoot and address issues at all of our sales offices, this has eliminated a lot of down time as well as the need to travel to these offices.

Pros

The ability to remotely access terminals at all of our office locations, very easy to use, intuitive interface

Cons

Infrequent connection issues which require reconnecting, but is a rare and minor issue

We have been using LogMeIn Rescue for the past month to help clients download virtual meeting software and to help them access financial and insurance statements within our company portal. It has been a lifesaver.

Pros

I like that I am able to assist clients remotely with technical issues that arise from download error or when when they need to access a financial statement in our login portal

Cons

I don't like that the client has to download an applet in order to benefit from the service. Making it browser friendly and only for the browser would be wonderful. Not sure how that would work though.

Pros

I love how easy this is to use! I've helped loads of people who are not tech-savvy to complete tasks where verbally giving instructions fall short. I am able to do so much with this software to help teach people by using the draw on screen feature and to help prevent repeat tech issues in the future.

Cons

The only real con I can come up with (and even finding one large enough to mention was tough) would be that this software is so powerful, with so many features, it can be difficult to fully uncover everything that is possible without heavy use or someone to teach users.

Pros

LogMeIn Rescue has made a very seamless experience when it comes to remotely accessing devices. There is no additional software that needs to be setup on your clients computer, there are no long load times, and there seems to be great customer support. I can see why companies like GeekSquad use this, it saves a lot of time for both you and the customer.

Cons

I will say that it is very expensive to maintain ($100+ a month), but considering what you can do with it, it's a price point that will be worth it for many people and companies.

LogMeIn is my favorite app I use at work. At my last place of employment we relied heavily on other programs like WinVNC, and built in remote apps on separate programs. LogMeIn is by far the most reliable and easiest to use of any remote app I have used.

Pros

\-Reliable -Multiple ways to log into a computer. Not reliant on an IP that may be wrong -Can remote into computers not on the corporate network -Automatically relogs back in if you are disconnected -Built in chat function so you can IM to the user you are supporting.

Cons

\-None. I cant think of any cons for what LogMeIn sets out to do.

I was having an issue with the settings of my computer. I was able to have someone remote in and change a setting on my computer. The whole exchange was very transparent and I could see everything that was happening.

Pros

What I like most about LogMeIn is the ease of use in both installation and gaining access. It is simple to gain access in a matter of minutes.

Cons

I wish there was a mobile application that ran the same way. I would be great if I had the same functionality to explain something on a phone.

Overall, great software. I think our company will be using it for many more years.

Pros

You just go into logmein rescue and enter the PIN number. Within seconds we are connected to a technician from our company who can assist us with computer issues!

Cons

Sometimes it has to update the software and then it closes and you have to reboot the software. It can be annoying when you are in the middle of a time sensitive issue and need a tech to connect to your computer.

What I like most about this software is how simple it is to gain access at home to the computers at the office. After the setup connecting the computers, this has been a great program to have in order to schedule patients while not at the office.

Cons

What I like least about this software is the difficulty that ensued during the set-up process. It was more tedious than expected to connect the computers at home to the ones at the office.

The simplicity of the product is great. It allows outside user to log in to your computer and control everything instead of you having to do everything. Its fast and easy to use and you know when they have control and dont.

Cons

No complaints about this product have used for when people have to do software updates on my computer.
