There is no worthy competition to this product. If I'm looking to add any type of Event functionality to a Salesforce org this is where I go immediately. Fonteva's software makes Events easy; I've set it up and customized it for a company in an hour or two and then they can make Events within a few minutes. It always wows my customers to have such functionality so quickly. Cons Custom and complicated development on their pages can be time consuming. Out of the box everything is fantastic, but custom Visualforce pages and CSS can take a lot of debugging. Wish it was easier to customize better. But this is a minor blemish on a fantastic product. Of course, when you start anything new it can be a bit overwhelming but that feeling subsides as we move along and become more accustomed to the features. Pros The software has greatly improved our customer experience and visual appearance of our platform. Cons There were issues that we could not foresee that we are facing. Those issues have required more steps in processing, but as we work through them, we are taking less steps and becoming more proficient. Helpful, innovative, & growing staff." April 18, 2018 4.0 Pros This events app is built right on top of Salesforce. The amount of features, the look and feel, and the UX are fare superior to former solutions. Plus, this has its own eCommerce capability which can used with the rest of the Fonteva product. Regular new releases are slated. I also like the fact that the company is growing quickly. Cons There are some items which are slated to be released which are not currently available. Some of the SEO elements aren't yet in place. As with any system, there are some constraint, and I hope that in a forthcoming release there will be a more comprehensive set of features to help with search. Review Source Victor N. I recommend this program for any level of management, beginners or experts, I guarantee that you will have an excellent experience. The interface of the program, the interaction through the cloud, the dynamic handling of the data loaded by the users, the reports designed to be perceived in a fast and fluid way are few of the many benefits offered by fonteva events Cons Users must define the variables well, the frequency of the data load and the indicators so that the program presents the best possible performance. Cons Prepare and event need a big quantity of details, for some people this can be very overwhelming and sometimes you will need a person and will advice you about what you need to your event and the best way to get the most out of it, but the limitation is that pay for and adviser can be very expensive for some people, like a litthe NGO. There is a good amount of flexibility in terms of being able to customize and adapt many features from the first moment, which makes our use easier. It also has a large training center (documents and videos) already created, which makes it easier to get up to date with the platform. Pros This is a great application, that all companies have to try. It offers everything your business needs, you can virtually manage aspects such as schedules, members, websites, meetings, events, business, budgets, promotions, reports and many other things with this wonderful application. You can also develop new ways to promote your business, with great interconnection among the other members that are within the organization Cons It has limitations to edit its managed packages, which limits the Administrator in certain configurations. Pros This is a great option for users who area already familiar with Salesforce. It builds beautiful events websites and logs the data right into Salesforce, which is great for marketing and other purposes. Cons Getting the product setup can be tough, and some of the ways that the data connects don't make a ton of sense to end users, especially those who are less experienced with Salesforce. It's great to have all of our Association operations under one system for reporting after previously having to use multiple systems to meet all of our needs. Cons So far, we have not found many cons but we are only using the system for our very simple, small events. December 18, 2018 5.0 We were able to organize events more quickly and efficiently than ever before. It increased our productivity two-fold - we turned around events faster, giving us more time and resources to dedicate to other activities, and it allowed us to improve user satisfaction by improving the end-user experience. What's not to love? Pros There was virtually zero ramp-up time involved - we were able to go from 0 to 60 incredibly quickly, thanks to the out-of-the-box functionality. It works flawlessly with Salesforce. Since we use SF for our lead gen and lead management, we needed a system that played well with it - and Fonteva was perfect! Cons Occasionally, we ran into bugs in CSS which hindered our ability to customize to our satisfaction - but we were able to work with the Support team to resolve this quickly. Pros Got a demo event set up in just a few hours during training with Fonteva. The event builder is robust and easy to use. I'm not a very experienced SF or EMS user but was just about a master after walking through all of the settings. The tight integration with the rest of the Fonteva suite really makes it easy to set up with store availability (in the Fonteva store on your org), registation forms, attendance records, and even a nice and modern looking site which is generated from the event. Cons I'd like to see an interactive, indoor map included. Easy enough to add ourselves but without this we couldn't use for very large events with multiple indoor locations.
