### " A great place to post and manage job openings"

December 16, 2025

5.0

Indeed has been a useful go-to for posting jobs. We get many resumes that are easy to sort, view, print, etc.

Pros

There's a free version. When I've interacted with their support team, they were extremely helpful and pleasant. Indeed is clean to look at. It's surprisingly easy to use, even when it doesn't feel like it would be. It's nice that the users can direct assess you through the portal. We've found some great hires and connections on Indeed. It's easy to manage potential future employees.

Cons

It feels a bit expensive to run actual ads on there. We use the free version sitll with great success

### "EXCELLENT.."

May 27, 2026

It offers unmatched visibility, often generating dozens of applications within hours of posting.: Employers can add mandatory assessment tests or custom screening questions to filter out unqualified applicants early

Pros

ITS Allows sponsoring jobs to pay only when candidates match criteria,ITS Sets strict daily or campaign limits to prevent overspending

Cons

Daily budgets can be exhausted quickly without delivering qualified candidates. The platform often generates a flood of underqualified applicants.

### "Not the best site for skilled labor, but great for entry level positions. "

February 9, 2026

3.0

In the end, I was able to find some good candidates for my entry level positions and nursing positions. However, I had to sort through a lot of poor ones to get there. I am hoping that indeed makes changes that benefit the employer in the future, rather than the job seeker.

Pros

I appreciated that the platform laid all the groundwork out for you, each section outlined exactly what was needed, it didn't leave any unanswered questions for the applicants.

Cons

I did not like that applicants that were not qualified, and clearly not qualified, were able to click and apply, which then costs us money. Screening questions were clear and concise yet, unqualified persons were still able to apply. I also wasn't aware in the screening process that candidates were made aware if you categorized them as a yes, maybe or no. That should not be visible to a candidate. Indeed also is a very poor site for obtaining skilled healthcare labor (veterinarians specifically).

### "Efficient Hiring Platform with Strong Candidate Reach"

May 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Indeed for Employers has been positive. The platform is easy to use, helps generate a strong number of applicants, and simplifies the hiring process. It’s been effective for reaching candidates quickly, though managing unqualified applicants and sponsored posting costs can sometimes be challenging.

Pros

What I liked most about Indeed for Employers was how easy it made the hiring process from start to finish. The platform gives access to a large pool of qualified candidates, and the job posting process is simple and quick. I also liked the applicant management tools, which made it easy to review resumes, communicate with candidates, and keep everything organized in one place. The visibility and reach of the platform helped generate applications faster than many other hiring platforms I’ve used.

Cons

One downside of Indeed for Employers is that costs can add up quickly when sponsoring jobs, especially in competitive markets. I also noticed that some applications were not well qualified, which meant spending extra time filtering candidates. The messaging and filtering tools could also be more advanced for managing large applicant pools efficiently.

Reason for choosing Indeed for Employers

Indeed was chosen over alternatives because it offers a larger candidate pool, faster applicant flow, and simpler hiring tools. Compared to LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and Glassdoor, it felt more straightforward for posting jobs, managing applicants, and filling roles quickly.

Overall I enjoy using indeed and fine it very helpful. I have been using this service for years and within that time I have gained employment more than once.

Pros

I like how you are able to see your preferences for jobs you’re interested in. Like how indeed helps create a resume for you.

Cons

Often times employers don’t reach out, so you are applying all the time even if your profile is public. Sometimes there can be scammer jobs.

### "Reliable and Effective Hiring Platform for Employers"

June 9, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Indeed for Employers has been very positive. As an IT professional at iQor, I've used the platform to help find candidates for different roles, and it has consistently made the hiring process easier and more organized. What stands out most is how simple it is to post jobs, track applicants, and communicate with candidates without having to switch between multiple tools.

Pros

What I liked most about Indeed for Employers was how easy it made the hiring process. As an IT professional at iQor, finding candidates with the right technical skills can sometimes be challenging, but Indeed provided access to a large and diverse talent pool. The platform was straightforward to use and I appreciated the ability to quickly review applications, filter candidates and communicate with potential hires all in one place.

Cons

While Indeed for Employers is a valuable recruiting platform, one challenge I experienced was the high volume of applications for some positions. Although having many applicants is beneficial, it can be time-consuming to sort through resumes and identify the most qualified candidates, especially for specialized IT roles. At times, I also noticed that some applicants did not fully match the job requirements despite the screening questions.

### "Well Known Platform for Hiring "

July 16, 2026

4.0

Not so bad. I appreciate how much they offer for free. However, there's definitely room for improvement. When I post a job ad with personalized questions, I wish I could make all of the answers mandatory. I see a lot of candidates who don't even try to answer one or two simple questions. Maybe that's a good indicator of how seriously they approach the application.

Pros

Simple interface - very easy to use. Nothing too complicated so it's easy to use even for the first time. Addition to that, Indeed is well known app/website. A lot of job seeker check job ads on Indeed for sure.

Cons

Sometimes it costs to post job ad for certain job title/occupation. I don't know the exact rule for that, but seems like some of the job ad needs to be promoted (means paid). Copying and pasting from the application isn't very smooth. For a few applications, it might not seem like a big deal, but trust me, it is when you receive hundreds of applications.

### "The only hiring platform I use"

January 8, 2026

5.0

I have used indeed almost solely for hiring and recruiting for my staff for the last 4 years. I have always found an applicant that fits my team well. From pre-questions to candidate information and contacting, Indeed has proven to be reliable and efficient. As a sole hiring manager for my company, I have found that indeed has and easy to use UI that allows for easy organization of positions, candidates and payments. I have never had any issues with Indeed.

Pros

Setting up an account with Indeed is simple. The information Indeed is able to offer before meeting a candidate allows for easier vetting. They offer great customer support for not only resolving problems, but also helping you optimized candidate results and getting the most applicants for the $ amount you are able to spend.

Cons

I hope indeed improves the way automatic responses are triggered and can be further customized for specific conditions to be met.

### "Totally customizable to fit your needs"

April 16, 2026

4.0

Pros

Indeed for Employers is a really helpful tool for recruiting. It can sync to your onboarding/payroll platform so that you can manage your candidates straight from your system. Or you can use it manually where you create the job posting in Indeed and manage candidates straight from the Indeed platform. It is user friendly and totally customizable. You can customize if you want an assessment test sent to the candidate after they submit their resume. You can customize knock out questions so that no one's time gets wasted. You can send out messages in bulk. That was nice. Any time we had a question, our customer service rep responded quickly. You can pause a job posting when necessary and you can adjust how long you want your job posting to be up. This way you are not overpaying and gives the best value for your money.

Cons

It is a bit pricy but it is a good investment. Your payment method will charge automatically. So make sure to only keep an eye on your active posting.

### "Great ease of use!"

December 11, 2025

4.0

I really liked this process. It was very simple and easy to use. It def made my life easier. Once everything was in place, it was a very smooth stream of candidate applications.

Pros

The ease of use. Ease of posting and reviewing candidates. And ease of replying to candidates. This was the best feature.

Cons

Sometimes it was a little confusing to separate out candidates easily in hierarchy and per job. Especially, if there were multiple jobs posted. Interview scheduling could be a little clunky.

### "Great Hiring Platform with Strong Reach but Some Cost and Quality Trade-Offs"

April 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Indeed for Employers has been positive. It’s a powerful platform for reaching a large and diverse pool of candidates, and it significantly streamlines the hiring process. The ease of posting jobs, managing applications, and communicating with candidates all in one place makes it very efficient for day-to-day recruiting. That said, there are some trade-offs—mainly the cost of sponsored listings and the time required to sift through a high volume of applicants. However, with the right filters and a clear job description, it still delivers solid results. Overall, it’s a dependable tool that works well for filling roles quickly, especially when speed and reach are priorities.

Pros

What I liked most about Indeed for Employers is how easy it makes the hiring process from start to finish. The platform has a massive candidate pool, which means you can quickly reach a wide range of qualified applicants. Posting jobs is straightforward, and the filtering tools help narrow down candidates efficiently, saving a lot of time. I also appreciate the built-in messaging and scheduling features, which keep everything organized in one place. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly tool that simplifies recruiting and helps fill roles faster.

Cons

What I liked least about Indeed for Employers is that the cost can add up quickly, especially when sponsoring jobs to stay competitive. While the platform brings in a high volume of applicants, the quality can be inconsistent, which means spending extra time filtering through unqualified candidates. The search and matching algorithms could be more precise to better surface the most relevant candidates. Additionally, managing multiple postings and tracking performance metrics isn’t always as intuitive as it could be, which can make optimization a bit challenging.

With Indeed, we can reach a large talent pool with a user-friendly dashboard for posting jobs. This streamlines our hiring process and allows us to focus our time on screening high-quality candidates.

Pros

The best function about Indeed for Employers is being able to post free basic job postings! This is enough to reach a wide, diverse talent pool of candidates.

Cons

Although we are able to reach a high number of candidates, it can be difficult to get in touch with these candidates due to the ease of applying on Indeed.

### "Indeed Job Board"

February 1, 2026

4.0

I have obtained several jobs from Indeed. I would recommend Indeed to all my friends and family. I don't use any other job board platform.

Pros

Indeed offers a wide range of job types that I am searching for. Their filters allow me to narrow down job descriptions that match my skills. I love the easy apply feature, which saves me so much time. The platform is very user-friendly and a great way to get my resume in front of potential employers.

Cons

On the downside, the sheer volume of emails from Indeed can be overwhelming and tends to clutter my inbox. Reducing the frequency of these communications would greatly enhance my experience on the platform.

### "The go to site for employment as a big or small company "

October 15, 2025

5.0

Great and a tool I have used in multiple workplaces to get a good amount of applicants for each role.

Pros

I’ve been using Indeed to recruit for my business, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The platform is easy to use, intuitive, and makes posting jobs incredibly straightforward. Within a short time of posting, I usually receive a strong pool of applicants, and the built-in tools make it simple to filter, communicate, and track progress. I really appreciate how Indeed gives me access to a wide range of candidates — from entry-level to highly skilled professionals — and the ability to adjust my job postings as needed. The dashboard and messaging features save me a lot of time, and the customer support team has always been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve had a question. Overall, Indeed has become my go-to platform for hiring. It’s reliable, efficient, and has made the recruitment process much smoother for my business. Highly recommended for any employer looking for quality hires without the hassle.

Cons

The only minor downside is that I sometimes receive a large number of applications, and not all are a perfect fit for the role. However, I’d much rather have too many candidates than too few, and Indeed’s filtering tools make it easy to manage.

### "Great Visibility For a Great Price"

December 1, 2025

4.0

Overall, Indeed for Employers offers a powerful, centralized platform that makes finding and managing candidates efficient and data-driven. While the reliance on paid sponsorships and premium branding tools can be a downside, the reach, tools, and insights generally provide strong value for most hiring needs.

Pros

Indeed for Employers makes it easy to post jobs, review applicants, and communicate with candidates from a single dashboard, which streamlines the hiring process and saves time. The large, diverse talent pool and built-in screening tools help surface qualified candidates quickly, and options like sponsorship and company pages improve visibility for key roles. Reporting and analytics tools make it straightforward to see how job posts are performing, track applications, and optimize spend and strategy over time.

Cons

To get strong visibility on many roles, sponsoring jobs often feels necessary, which can drive up costs, especially for small teams or tight budgets. Some of the more advanced branding and analytics features require upgrades or premium options, and the volume of applicants can sometimes mean extra work to filter out less relevant candidates.
