### "Indeed has helped our company thrive!"

December 10, 2021

4.0

Indeed has improved our company since we have started using this application for new hires, we are able to quickly find new applicant perfectly suited to our job description and quickly read through each resume with ease, we have become a better business because of indeed. This application almost always works perfectly.

Pros

In my opinion the resume search tool has been the most used application for the company, it has impacted our company to hire many applicants that are perfect for the job, integrating our business software with indeed has been an easy experience and minimized our workload while maximizing our company's applications

Cons

I feel as if the the workflow feature could definitely be worked on, we have issues with our software updating what we input into this feature, we have some application crashes often as well as glitches.

Reason for choosing Indeed for Employers

We chose indeed other other products because it was a much cheaper alternative with more software features than competitors, to help maximize our companies workflow and increase our employees.

Using indeed has been the best experience ever, I have been using indeed when I was in college and I have actually grown into using it. It has taught to stay relevant and always update my resume, I have improved many skills while using this site.

Pros

It user friendly both for desktop/laptop and it is very simple anyone can use it without having any challenges.

Cons

Everything was great and there is absolute nothing I hate relating to the software.

### "Our Go-To Job Board for Hires"

April 28, 2020

4.0

Other than our inconsistencies with our previous account team, our experience has been as expected. Indeed is our go-to job board that we can count on to produce a hire.

Pros

Indeed is easy to use and their tracking/analytic data has improved over the years. I am extremely hands on and like to set up, pause, delete our own sponsored job campaigns which they allow you to do. Finally was able to get our jobs scraped from our ATS Greenhouse onto Indeed so we do not have to manually post jobs anymore (THANK GOODNESS!). We hire about 30% of our employees from indeed.

Cons

Customer Support/Account Managers! Worked with our previous account manager for the last 4 years. He seemed spread too thin and was never my go-to for quick responses to questions I had about our account. He would consistently send e-mails about touching base and go unresponsive after we would respond about times we were available for a call. On multiple occasions we would have a call scheduled, would log into call only to sit on the line for 10 minutes with not response back or even get a follow-up "sorry we missed each other" e-mail. About 1.5 years ago he introduced our account to his Client Success Manager and she was always my go-to for anything I needed! She was wonderful! Due to Covid-19 they have shifted accounts and we now have a new account manager who is super responsive so we are very excited to be working with someone new!

Reason for choosing Indeed for Employers

We ultimately use Indeed over all the other job board sources as Indeed can consistently produce a hire for us over other sources. LinkedIn Jobs and ZipRecruiter have been very unsuccessful sources for us as far as job boards are concerned.

I love the platform as you are able to get a job, interview questions snd also able to post your recruiting posts si you get applicants.

Pros

I love that when i look for a job after settings i can get a job notification due to my profile.

Cons

The amount of applicants that are posted tends to reduce peoples hope for a job.

### "Immediate Results and Well Organized!"

December 2, 2021

5.0

Very positive experience. I have had success multiple times on here and enjoy how easy this software is to use so much.

Pros

The recommendations are very helpful and cut down on time that would typically be used pouring over resumes to find relevant candidates. I also immensely love the method of notification, something I typically detest for other softwares. I even look forward to updates in my inbox from Indeed.

Cons

There is a lot of repetition with candidates and recommendations. I will pass over or hide a candidate or position, but they will show up on my feed later. This is probably done intentionally, but is very irritating when it occurs.

### "My favorite job search software! "

May 17, 2021

5.0

I've had nothing but good experiences with indeed, I've actually gotten hired with two different companies through the app and after you get hired you are able to put that on your profile that you are hired somewhere and basically off the market. For me it's just always been very easy to use and I've never had to question what I was doing in our when I was looking at!

Pros

I love the ease of use of indeed, it's never been difficult for me to navigate throughout the app or the website. I've never had to question what employers I have already applied to and which ones meet my specific qualifications. I especially love the little markers for each job application that say whether it is filling up quickly or if there is a lot of applicants who are applying, there's just a lot of information that's given and it really makes it easy to never doubt what is right in front of me!

Cons

To be honest I don't think I've ever had any problems with indeed. I have used it for years and I have always used it to keep my resume and it has since been very easy to update and keep track of places that I have applied to, places I've worked at, how long I've worked somewhere and the messaging feature is sort of new but that is also a nice touch that they added so that instead of having an email back and forth you are able to converse right in the app!

Switched from

I was just receiving too many spam emails and it wasn't keeping up with my resume the way I wanted it to and I was just overall not satisfied.

### "Quickest Way to Fill a Role"

January 23, 2023

4.0

I have been using indeed for a decade I have nothing but positive things to say. Quickest way to get hired:

Pros

I like that indeed is straightforward and easy to use. I like that its a quick turnaround for employers to fill a role and a quicker way for applicants to get jobs. You won’t find many roles in the same field but you will find where spots are needed to be filled.

Cons

The suggested jobs to apply to feature I feel should auto populate in general. It’s not as narrow searched when you login

### "Indeed Review"

November 20, 2021

4.0

I found one of my first jobs through Indeed, so it has been a personal success for the website in my eyes. I stayed with the company, TGI Fridays, for a little over 3 years until the restaurant closed down with the pandemic happening. The location was close and the interview process was a comfortable time, and so I will always be thankful to Indeed for that assistance. However, the more robust searching tools offered by competitors does mean I do not solely look for jobs through Indeed now. Other sites example have quite great social network features that can more readily land you a job or connection through a contact than Indeed might. The simplicity may be in its favor to some users or a detriment, and they may use another site instead. Overall it is a job website that is worth looking into.

Pros

The user interface is easy to navigate and doesn't present you with obnoxious clutter. Sites like Indeed need to be viewable for stretches of time, as job seekers may be applying for a few hours on occasion. Primarily white and blue eases that. Quick apply saves so much time and you can navigate to only qucik apply jobs so you don't need to remember whatexternal websites you have applied with and also make a username and password along with any extra measures for an application.

Cons

Sometimes job recommendation emails aren't the best as they can be within your field but too far away or specific in a way that means you do not want the job. That system should still be in place for sure, as it may be helpful but can also flood your inbox potentially.

### "Paid Version is Pointless"

October 18, 2018

3.0

In general, the free version is useful and should be an automatic posting option for any Recruiting/Talent Acquisition department if it isn't already cross-posted by your ATS automatically. In a free version, you can excuse how bad the software is, which is pretty bad. However, their freemium aggregate model of scraping jobs from thousands of other sites and making their website a one-stop shop for job searchers made them the #1 job posting site quickly. But the dirty little secret is that this model isn't sustainable, and like Monster and Amazon, their first goal was to grow their user base, and then try to force paid versions onto their user base. However, unlike Monster, their product is only good because it was unique and free. There are tons of other sites that now use the aggregate scraping model and are much better programs. In addition, Google-for-Jobs has pretty much made Indeed obsolete by offering the same ability, but using the vast superior searchability of Google with an already existing Millennial user-base. The software is better, and it already syncs with google search. Regarding the paid version of Indeed, it just isn't worth it unless you recruit in large cities, you may need to use the paid version in order to not be buried quickly in their ads, but even then, the effectiveness is debatable when you can update the ad or repost it every few days. Even in larger cities, I haven't seen any quantifiable benefit of using the paid version.

Pros

As an aggregate job posting site, it is a must have for any recruiting department to use on a daily basis. The free hosting feature is automatically done on most ATS programs. Because they scrape from so many websites, job postings with them will reach even tough markets like Physicians, whereas Careerbuilder, Zip, Monster, etc. do NOT reach these.

Cons

Google-for-Jobs has made Indeed all but obsolete. Their "paid" version is pointless compared to the free version. We have tested several times and have seen hardly any, if any, quantifiable difference for the huge cost, regardless of what the sales team says. Their resume database is horrible in search function and results, although, useful in that you can pay per resume pull. They are aesthetically the Craigslist of job search websites. The site is ugly (relative), hard to become a power user on (like Linkedin), and is only successful because of their Freemium aggregate model.

Pros

Its really very use freindly and the candidates are all quality candidates that you won't need much time in knowing them. And the system is well studied and designed.

Cons

The system itself is so phenomenal the only problem is external like the devise that you are using to navigate things, other than that everything is so cool. Very User Friendly.

### "I prefer it over other job search applications."

August 2, 2022

5.0

I have mostly used Indeed as a job seeker and to be honest, It helped me a lot every step of the way. The process of looking for a job is no longer the waking nightmare it used to be. I highly recommend Indeed for both employers and employment seekers as it has a lot of features no matter which side one is using it on.

Pros

I love how indeed provides a great opportunity for finding jobs. Searching for jobs has never been easier. The user interface is really friendly and the landing page shows recently posted jobs so that one can apply early. Its really easy to share job openings with friends on other social medial platforms through links. Its really nice that I can either upload and apply with an already typed resume which I upload from another source or create one using the software. The software sends alerts which help in reminding me of new jobs. The software is also great because I can chat with recruiters and they can do the same by contacting me through the app. Job seekers are shown the clear job description, location, requirements and remuneration so that they know exactly what they are going for. The search bar in the software is highly useful as I can search and filter jobs and narrow down to exactly what I am looking for. My most recent searches are kept and I can always revisit them . These recent searches are always updated and highlight wherever there is a new opportunity. Its really easy to add certificates and or licenses to go with the resume. In the event that one spends a lot of time without logging into the software, nothing is missed as updates and reminders can be sent straight to your Gmail.

Cons

I have not come across a lot of disadvantages while using Indeed however I have noticed how formats for indeed resumes are limited.

### "Indeed a great way to find a job"

July 12, 2022

5.0

Overall indeed is an awesome program it has a lot of features for everyone the person looking for a job up to the person that's posting the job the information's there has easy apply parts of the program that just worked flawless and they send emails to update you it's an awesome program all the way around

Pros

I have used this program in both capacities as a employer and as a potential employee the ease of access is phenomenal the way they offer information to you and help you get through the either hiring process or getting higher process is flawless and it's a great program to offer anybody who is either looking for employees or who's looking for their next job

Cons

The only con I found with this program is as a freelancer and a person that sometimes looks for a job is that there should be more of a section where you can take some of those tests that are required for certain employees where you could go and take those again or take small classes to improve those areas so that you can pass those tests and be able to apply for jobs that require them

### "Indeed for Nonprofits"

June 18, 2021

5.0

Overall, Indeed is a crucial software to our organizations development. We use this regularly to recruit top-tier applicants, which is especially difficult in today's post-covid world.

Pros

We like that it is easy to post a job with all of the relevant details, and that we have a company profile that makes it easy for applicants to see what kind of organization we are. It is important that applicant's personal values are aligned with our own. This software is highly used by applicants of all backgrounds for all sorts of jobs, from maintenance technicians to director level positions. We are able to make benefits and salary information very clear as well.

Cons

Our least favorite aspect of this software is the price for posting per day. As a nonprofit, it is crucial for us to recruit top-tier applicants but the cost per day per posting can be a barrier.

### "Indeed for recruitment "

It was a great experience as I had used zip recruiter along with it and felt it was a premium product and pays off

Pros

I love that it offers much more features then other job portals and there is a pool of resumes that get added to search from and lots of sorting out can be done with them as well as status updates can be done to know which candidates I have contacted ,who's been through and pending candidates to contact

Cons

I have not had much issues with indeed the only thing that stood out was that the location during job postings sometimes did not match the pin code but once refreshed it would show

September 6, 2021

My experience has been great with indeed, it has eased my job of hiring and referring candidate as per they job profile. Indeed offers many internal features that can help us with smooth transition without any problem.

Pros

Yes the integration with indeed is quite easy. Best part about indeed is that it offers self service tool, so whenever we are stuck at any situation we can refer the help pages and it guides us to the right path. Also the screening and verification of candidates profile is also done by indeed. If we have any specific job details the profiles will be segregated accordingly and yes we can even schedule interview.

Cons

As of now there are no lows I came across with indeed. They have been so far great with their features and customer service.

### "Indeed you are a great helper"

November 29, 2021

4.0

Indeed is literally where we've done 90% of our hiring. Have we always been happy with our applicant quality? No. Have we found gems? Yes! Functions are doing their best and ever-improving I've noticed, so if I leave another review in a few weeks, it may look entirely different.

Pros

I like the resume searches the best. It is the function that yields the most results for my team.

Cons

The applicant matching is very weak. If I get one more waitress trying to apply for a veterinarian position and have to ask them if they are a doctor, I'll not be happy, but hey at least we can weed those folks out for any other type of position. Ever.

### "Indeed for Nonprofit hiring"

December 7, 2021

5.0

In my opinion they are the best job search and posting website, but they charge more than some nonprofits like us can afford. It's easy to use and yields results, but very expensive. However, our best new employees have come from Indeed, because people who use Indeed know what they want in a career and are ready to get to work.

Pros

We had the best applicants from Indeed. If someone is serious and dedicated to finding the right job and career, they will spend the time and money to apply and post resumes. This weeds out applicants who are not very serious or professional. The specificity of profiles and areas of interest helps us find candidates with the right credentials and experience.

Cons

It is extremely costly, especially to a startup business. As a nonprofit working to end homelessness for adults living with severe mental illnesses, I thought that a giant corporation like Indeed would be interested in helping with taxes or offering a little support.

Reason for choosing Indeed for Employers

Indeed has the best reputation and states best results in quality applicants. It's more secure, professional, and easy to use than other sites.

### "Indeed Set Me Free! "

December 29, 2021

5.0

Pros

I enjoy the easy setup of this software including the app which I downloaded for the first time and ever. I've always used just a straight website but I took the plunge into the app and unlike most job finding apps indeed gives you just as many features as the website does. Indeed it seems passionate about actually helping people find their dream job they keep pounding you with opportunity after opportunity after opportunity day after day VA your email if that's how you'd like to get notified through the website itself even text messaging. It feels good to even get messages and text messages from employers themselves which is a great option that indeed offers because it's one thing to receive something from the website but it's another thing to show that a company themselves is actually reaching out to you.

Cons

I just wish that the product was free online aspects of it. Do I do understand the company doesn't the same business somehow and his sponsorship isn't always good list I'm going to make an income but they should be given incentive program for those of us that have been members for five plus years or more just an idea?

### "Good Overall Recruitment Platform"

July 23, 2021

4.0

Overall it is a good experience with little improvements to be had in a few places. It's great as it has a big candidate/applicant pool, but this also means that the quality of applicants can sometimes be a little lower.

Pros

Indeed is great as a lot of candidates look for job roles on here. This usually leads to a high number applicants, giving recruiters a lot of choice to find the right candidate for the job. I also like that it is mostly free to use and that you have the option to sponsor certain adverts if needed or launch a more thought through campaign to attract the right candidates.

Cons

The interface is a little messy and seems very cluttered. The page also has a lot of glitches, often freezes or does not load properly (nothing to do with my bandwidth, I have checked this). I also dislike that certain adverts have to be sponsored. Often sponsored posts don't actually generate the most suitable candidates. As it is pay per click, it sometimes seems like the software just pushes the advert to as many candidates as possible which leads to sponsored adverts bringing in a lot more unqualified applicants than non-sponsored.

Reason for choosing Indeed for Employers

We did not choose Indeed over another product, but use multiple different job boards alongside each other. Indeed is very competitive as it does offer free posting which is incredibly important and helpful to us.

### "Indeed the best"

April 22, 2023

5.0

My overall experience with Indeed is actually pretty good. I do feel like throughout the years of using the app it has not been the best when it comes to the hiring side responding back. Or when there a small little pop quizzes to see if you can qualify when in all you still need the training when you get hired anyway.

Pros

Indeed in the point of view that I carry I do feel like it is a great product. It's a way to keep the information of jobs and people going. They allow for you to search within a wide range of things and even for updates on the status of the application that you send in.

Cons

I do not like that it sometimes take a minute to get a response. Or sometimes I feel that communication flow of things is not the best way of working itself out. I also do feel like it has option for certain jobs, but not others and then I also do believe the usage of uploading a resume no longer is needed.

### "Indeed is a good option"

January 7, 2022

4.0

My experience with Indeed is mixed. In the past year, half of my new hires were through Indeed and half were through other methods. You can place a free job posting, but there are limitations and your post falls further down the search results with each passing day after your first day. I use Indeed paid postings if I think I will struggle to find candidates through other methods. Their pricing model is hard to understand, although late in the process an Indeed representative did reach out to me to suggest ways I might have saved money. Despite the less than perfect experience, I find Indeed to be more affordable than other job posting sites and I have had some success. I will continue to use it as part of my employee recruiting process in the future.

Pros

Indeed probably reaches the widest pool of candidates of any of the job sites. It is easy for candidates to search and respond, and Indeed makes it easy to track candidates and email back and forth with them. Indeed includes some basic screening questions you may require candidates to answer, and Indeed can pass or fail them based on criteria you set. For example, "are you legally allowed to work in the US?" or "What is the highest academic degree you have?" or "Do you have a license for doing blah blah blah?". This helps you to ignore candidates who do not meet minimum qualifications.

Cons

The flip side of reaching a wide pool of candidates is that you may have to sort through MANY unqualified candidates to find those who might be qualified. Indeed's job matching feature that has their software "read" your job post and suggest candidates from their resume database did a very poor job of identifying good matching candidates, although I will give them some forgiveness because I generally am looking to hire candidates who have uncommon skill sets. Not every person in their resume database is actively searching for a job, so if you find a resume you like, you are responsible for reaching out to the candidate and persuading the candidate that it they should consider your job post.

### "EVERYONE SHOULD BE USING INDEED!! "

June 28, 2021

5.0

Overall, I will always return and be an Indeed user.

Pros

Everyone should be utilizing indeed for their job searching and candidate seeking because its platform is simple to use and organized to understand! There are thousands of thousands of jobs available for all to look through and HOPE to land (as I am still searching for a position outside of my company). It’s the perfect platform for job hunting and posting positions to find the best candidates.

Cons

The only thing I dislike is how the resume parsing works. It hasn’t always accurately parsed my resume into the work experience and volunteer section—which is super frustrating having to type it all out manually!

### "Indeed review"

December 16, 2021

5.0

Overall experience: I had used this software countless times. This has allowed me to have paid internship opportunities, pre-hiring and thus job offers with fixed-term and indeterminate contracts in such a short time. All the offers I received by Indeed were close to me.

Pros

Benefits: Indeed is a job search and internship or compensation provider. It is currently available in more than 50 countries. Indeed is an example of a single-topic vertical search engine. It indexes job postings published on thousands of sites such as job advertisements websites, articles in newspapers, Linkedin or companies that recruit. This allows candidates with an easy and targeted search to find the best offers that suits their profiles and that are closest to their geographic areas. This is really great and fast in job search which is not always obvious.

Cons

Disadvantages: Like all recruitment sites, Indeed has disadvantages. As it is practical, but with the absence of document (attestation or diploma) the recruiter cannot verify the honesty of the candidate. So he could be wrong based just on the resume proposed by the candidate. In addition, recruiters receiving countless applications will find it difficult to correctly target candidates who deserve the qualification.
