### "My Indeed experience"

May 25, 2022

4.0

I love using the site. It's easy to use, simple to navigate, not hard to use at all. I love the extra details it gives me when it lets me know if a job listing is hiring multiple candidates or just one and if they're urgently hiring or not. I also love that I can quickly apply to jobs, and it lets me know if I have all the skills for a position or if I'm missing a few qualifications so overall I love the site.

Pros

I love how they implemented a new way of adding to your resume. I love how I can pick all of the skills I have to add to my experience with the click of a button. I don't have to use specific words when searching for jobs. I love how they have job fairs, hiring events, apply today start tomorrow job postings. Some employers like staffing agencies even leave a direct number to contact them which I also love and it tells me the employers response rate to applicants and how many people applied to the position which is a first for a job search engine. Huge plus! I love that it tells me if the job is seasonal/temp or full/part time. I love how they send off my completed tests from the companies that recommend a test after application submission.

Cons

The resume builder is a hassle at first but understandable why it's extensive. I don't like how they have way too many listings for minimum wage and it sometimes shows me job listings in other areas/states that are nowhere near me and some job postings are scams. I think their job postings that have no ratings should be vetted on legitimacy a bit more as well just to lessen the risk of getting scammed. I hate taking the tests after submitting an application

### ""Indeed: The Ultimate Job Search Platform""

January 23, 2023

5.0

My overall experience with Indeed is good. I've been able to post jobs and find jobs with ease, and the Business Development team has a 92% positive review rate. I'm able to find quality candidates quickly and the filters help me narrow down my search. I can also get help from Indeed's internal team if I'm having trouble creating my job ads.

Pros

One of the biggest advantages of Indeed is its ease of use. The website has a simple and intuitive layout, making it easy to navigate and find the information you need. Additionally, the platform offers a wide range of job listings from various industries, making it a one-stop-shop for job seekers. Another advantage is its advanced search capabilities, which allow users to filter job listings by location, salary, company, and more, making it easy to find the perfect job for their qualifications and preferences. Furthermore, Indeed allows users to upload and manage their resumes, making it easy for potential employers to view and contact them. Users can also set up alerts for new job listings that match their criteria, ensuring they don't miss any relevant opportunities. Additionally, the Indeed app allows users to access job listings and manage their job search on the go.

Cons

One of the least liked aspects of the Indeed job search portal is the sheer number of tests employers often require potential candidates to take after they apply for a job. Additionally, there can be a lot of spam and outdated job postings, making it difficult to find relevant opportunities.

Reason for choosing Indeed for Employers

We chose Indeed over the alternative products because it had the most comprehensive search engine and offered the best value for money. Indeed also had the most user-friendly platform and offers virtual interviews on the platform. It is also the most visited job board in the US, making it a great option for employers who want to reach the widest possible audience. Additionally, Indeed offers free job postings and the ability to sponsor posts for additional visibility.

### "Synonymous with excellence in Human Talent Recruiting...!!!"

October 20, 2021

4.0

A significant problem arises when applicants do not complete their resumes on Indeed and submit a partial resume for a job. Ease of use is evident when looking at potential candidates for open positions. Be very clear about the quality of resumes based on those sent through Indeed. It makes my work life very simple.

Pros

In addition, the filter questions and interview functions of mobile phones and smartphones save a lot of time, effort, and effort. I used to waste candidate time and schedule the telephonic interview to do what Indeed now routinely does for me. Although it is the best application in terms of recruiting and UI, it is amicable and easy to integrate. We have integrated it with our company software and imported and exported the candidate contacts files directly.

Cons

I don't like being optional for candidates to list their positions. Sometimes we get applications from candidates who passed the evaluation but ended up not being local. I also want candidates to verify their phone number, as some candidates add an inactive number to the question making it difficult to contact them. Apart from that, it is mind-blowing application.

Reason for choosing Indeed for Employers

After comparing with other alternatives, we matched various pros and cons and their pricing too. In the end, we needed a tool to work over technical profiles mainly, and so we finally picked Indeed due to its good reviews.

I really liked it and related to other job portals, I feel it's really easy to use and lots of features

Pros

I really like the sorting feature, and you can mark candidates as not interested or interested, send them messages and chat, use resume database to search for candidates, and filters are one of the best

Cons

Sometimes when marking candidates, you have to refresh the page, or you will end up contacting the same candidates twice, that happened alot with me

### "Honest review "

November 13, 2021

Without a doubt posts postings for work searchers in each industry, each level from section to leader, and each way of life (independent, low maintenance, temporary job, all day). Up-and-comers can look by work title and area, compensation range, date posted, and experience level.

Pros

To be sure has a shopper rating of 3.05 stars from 1,241 audits showing that most clients are by and large happy with their buys. Buyers happy with For sure most every now and again notice pursuit of employment, qualified up-and-comers and introductory letter. For sure positions first among Enrolling locales.

Cons

To be sure is somewhat of a no nonsense place of work. The route and format isn't generally so stylishly satisfying as different locales, and it offers very little as far as extra assets. It's simply a web search tool for work postings, which makes it to some degree repetitive on the off chance that you're now utilizing different locales.

### "The best job-search tool ever!"

January 24, 2023

5.0

As a candidate, I have outstanding overall experience with Indeed. In order to go through job applications, it has been conserving me time. Since Indeed continuously shows me new chances in my area or recently added employment that I'm interested in, I've actually loved it constantly for both the browser and the app.

Pros

I like how easy it is to search for appropriate job positions on Indeed using keywords, titles, industries, and locations. In addition to that, I appreciate that I get daily emails alerting me to fresh job postings relevant to my quest.

Cons

What I did not enjoy about this software is that there is tremendous competition for job postings because new positions are uploaded every second. As a result, there can be a lot of unqualified applicants to sort out.

### "Hiring made easy using Indeed"

October 8, 2021

4.0

My overall experience is excellent as an employer as well as a candidate. It has been saving me time in sorting through potential candidates. Indeed is the best platform for recruiters.

Pros

I got my second job after college placement through indeed. I have been using Indeed Hiring for years regularly. Indeed is the best platform to source the candidates as per the requirement. It has the largest talent pool. I was able to message job seekers who have opted to make their profiles public. If they meet the job requirement, then I can message them directly. Indeed is a well-known name for recruitment and is easy to navigate. Its UI is user-friendly. The job posting is effortless and free of cost. We can opt to sponsor our job as per the requirement. It has a wide variety of tools to screen the candidate. We can hire candidates of all backgrounds for all sorts of jobs, from technician to director levels. Indeed work on a pay-per-click model.

Cons

As we know, every technology has its pros and cons. I have been using Indeed for years. I have used Indeed as a candidate as well as an employer. As an employer, I am not a big fan of the pay-per-click model on which Indeed works. I have to pay for lots of clicks that are irrelevant. Most of the candidates are curious to know about the job rather than applying. It provides indeed mail rather than actual mail of the candidate. It isn't easy to use Indeed for employers on my phone. As a candidate, I can apply to multiple jobs at a time. But sometimes, the listing job is not accurate. Sometimes, job referrals were not related to my skill set. Occasionally, we have to be very specific with our keywords, or the website will pretty much show you every job within the given location that has absolutely nothing to do with the choice of keywords you have supplies.

### "Quite literally, would not have anyone on my staff if it weren't for Indeed"

August 20, 2022

4.0

I have a very small staff, which means they need to be reliable, hard-working and part of our "family". I think Indeed has helped me find that type of candidate who is interested in actually building a future with my company.

Pros

In a world full of job sites & recruiting software, Indeed stands alone in the amount of features they offer to get to know your candidates. The free assessments they offer are well written and provide unique perspective on job applicants - including the initiative on whether or not they are willing to go the extra mile to impress a hiring manager. There are multiple tools to schedule and complete the interviewing of candidates via email, phone or video, and several places to make internal notes and log times to know where you left off with that particular applicant. This is very useful, especially when you are contacting multiple candidates for multiple jobs all at the same time.

Cons

The only time it seems the most helpful is when you are paying to sponsor your job listing. The free utility is not as effective in attracting applicants. Also, while they ask you a series of questions about why you disqualified a particular applicant, it doesn't seem to do much to thwart future applicants based on this same criteria. I understand that you don't want a potentially good applicant to get weeded out by mistake using A.I., but it should be more intuitive about candidates who don't complete assessments, miss mandatory requirements or just fail to even upload their resume. I don't need to be bothered with someone who just provided their name & phone number for consideration for a job I have offered.

### "Using Indeed for Employment Is a Win, Win situation."

December 22, 2021

4.0

I have secured positions through Indeed on more than one occasion. I have always had trouble staying long at a job but have been able to continue to use Indeed with no judgment. They always seem to have my back and help a lot. One thing though, I have never talked directly with anyone from Indeed. Never had to because there software makes it to where everything is taken care of and I have never had an issue except my location requests.

Pros

I really like the feature where I can apply with my Indeed application as opposed to going to the prospective companies site and filling in all my information over and over. They really make it possible to apply for many more opportunities than if I had to continuously fill out new applications.

Cons

The only fault I find with Indeed is they seem to ignore my filters on the geographical location of where I live and where I want to work.

### "The best job posting software"

November 7, 2021

5.0

Pros

I have been using indeed over the past 2 years now and my experience with indeed had impacted my life positively. Indeed offers various features such as job feed especially those related to your careers. You are able to see all of your recent job searches. There is also notifications which you may find important information there. The best thing I like about indeed it's that, I am able to chat with an employer in a private way and also send them direct resume. I can also view all the company reviews, the salary range and also my reviews which most software do not have. Of course, security of our personal data which is very important, I can say it's somehow secure. I haven't experienced any problem related to my personal details or any fraudulent. Indeed for now it's my number one recommendation software to use if you're seeking current job posting and in case you want to land on your dream job.

Cons

Despite indeed having so much to offer, It is expensive. Their charges are are so high and if you're not careful you may spend a lot without even landing on your dream job.

### "THANK YOU for the opportunity to interview..."

January 14, 2022

4.0

While in the professional HHC field I relied on Indeed to perform what I liked to call a brief introduction of the job, the skills and qualifications and a range for the salary or hourly wage. It also lets the job seeker aware your resume was looked at tells you how many people have applied and how long the post has been available

Pros

Posting and updates of your resume are super simple. I have worked with Linked In and Zip Recruiter both these sites are impossible to make updates and changes with out issue. I also found that neither Zip recruiter or Linked in - gave notice of when the job was posted or even if that position was filled.

Cons

I found myself submitting applications to jobs that didn't have a compensation amount. I found this very useful using other apps . Perhaps this has been updated to now include. I had no issues with getting interviews but 4 out of 5 jobs I appied for offered me less to take the job than what I was making and this is asked for and talked about prior to scheduling of interview.

Pros

What I like most about Indeed is how easy it is to search for jobs in your area and apply especially when they have the quick apply right on indeed and you don't have to go to the company site because they are always so much longer. I love the resume feature of this software and how easy it is to make a professional resume.

Cons

### "Indeed I agree"

November 25, 2021

5.0

I been using this app for a while. Especially whenever I needed a job, never disappointed when I need a interview. The communication is limited through the companies. Since it wants you to be on the app. Maybe have a pop up message box would be highly recommend.

Pros

The amount of job opportunities available are almost unlimited. It also let you know if you qualify for many jobs or not. I also like how you can read what the expectations company requires.

Cons

The notification of message received, and there are no buttons to set when searching for a job, where you can find non-degree requirements. I wish they would also have fraud protection of fake company. Or an option to report these things, and let people search.

It is generally viewed as a reliable and useful platform for job searching and recruitment and offers a wide range of job postings from various industries and locations, as well as useful features such as advanced search filters, email alerts, and job recommendations.

Pros

Many job seekers and recruiters like Indeed for its comprehensive job listings, user-friendly interface, and advanced search filters. It also offers useful features such as email alerts, job recommendations based on user activity, and a mobile app for easy access on-the-go.

### "A new way to expand yourself and find your next job."

September 22, 2021

4.0

So far this software has been very helpful whether you’re looking for a job or you want to hire people for your company, it has different features that helps the user to contact with the company so that they have more opportunities of growth, It is one of the most easiest softwares I have ever used and I will definitely recommend it.

Pros

I like that it’s very easy to use whether you are a user or the one that’s going to hire people, it’s very easy to find a job that it’s suitable for you, I like that depending on your capabilities and professional profile the companies can offer you a job or you can decide all their jobs that are more suitable and better for you, I like that you can post Job offers and let the people decide if they want to work with you or not it’s very practical and more likely to happen.

Cons

What I don’t like about the software as a user it’s that sometimes when you need to contact with the companies about an employee opportunity they are not very responsive as they should be, The software definitely needs to improve that so the companies answer us on time.

### "Indeed, We're All Looking for Top Talent "

October 19, 2021

3.0

Pros

The ability to quickly and easily connect with a wide variety of candidates - both from a role perspective, as well as Industry.

Cons

Two things: (1) The "Matching" candidates feature needs a LOT of work, and (2) There is no way to rate or view candidates/hiring managers on things like communication and follow-through. For an example, it is quite common for candidates to start what appears to be serious dialogue, only to "go dark." It would be great to have an automated feature that fairly rates both the hiring company and the candidates on areas like communication and follow-through.

December 24, 2021

5.0

I’ve enjoyed using indeed for many years and will continue to use indeed for many to come as it’s my preferred platform to use for job placement

Pros

Indeed is king of hiring platforms for a reason, it’s so easy to use and helps filter candidates quickly and pair them with the right jobs and companies for a more successful match and prosperous future.

Cons

While it’s to be expected, the automatic copy and paste feature from documents to the site itself is a little glitchy and could be much more accurate but it’s understandable as documents are in different formats and the information can be deceiving to an AI

### "Indeed is convenient for job searching, sometimes annoying, however."

December 2, 2021

5.0

Overall, I have been using this website for years, and it has allowed me to find several positions over time. I consistently use it, but I do not depend on it as my only job search app.

Pros

I like that you can create your own profile, you can have previous cover letters; these save a lot of time in applications. You can do skill assessments to prove to employers that you actually know a certain skill, and you can check messages from recruiters or employers as well. These are very convenient features to make it easier for employers and job searchers to match for positions.

Cons

My only con about the software is that the skill assessments take some time to complete, and the audio interviews are generic. There should be a way for employers to have a greater variety of questions for their video interviews.

### "Excellent user interface"

November 14, 2021

5.0

My experience with indeed was top notch and it's the best platform I have used so far, being that there are assessments which basically make it easy for both recruiters and job seekers to let each other understand and see their experiences and skills all on one platform. Ease of use was incredibly helpful from start to finish. I outrightly would recommend it ,without a doubt.

Pros

Filters for specific categories and requirements as per individual or companies preferences. The ability to easily access every single feature basically the user interface is excellent and incomparable to non other. Every single detail is well outlined and accessible on indeed.

Cons

The one negative thing about it would be the ability of employees to leave negative reviews on certain companies, this is a double edg d sword. Disgruntled employees might just decide to soil a companies profile for no apparent reason.

### "Have used and referred others to this app/site since 2012, best job search app by far."

June 19, 2019

5.0

At the moment, none. I used Indeed briefly when I was managing a data collection call center but other than creating the initial posting I left most of this work to the HR department. We posted the exact same job description on Craigslist as well and I anylized the productivity numbers of the employees we found through Craigslist and Indeed and the employees we found from Indeed had a much higher retention rate and on average outperformed the employees hired from Craigslist to an extent that justified the cost of continuing to use Indeed, which was quite low to begin with, but when you are already dealing with a high volume/low margin type of business every dollar counts. (Note: I did not "switch" from another product, but I have used many of Indeed's competitors and Indeed is the only one that I have recommended because it is miles ahead of the competitors)

Pros

I really like the ability to easily customize what you are searching for as far as employment opportunities go. Prior to starting my own e-commerce business/after my enlistment in the military I have used Indeed to find 3/5 of the jobs I've had during that period. The algorithms do an excellent job of providing relevant job opportunities based on data provided through the website and what I assume is data collected on users via Google. The email recommendations are honest as well, using the data to quickly give those searching for jobs the ability to see how well any particular posting matches what they are looking for and updates very well over time (e.g. 3 years ago it recommended mid-level management positions for companies specializing in data collection, sales, and customer service - Now it recommends contractual/work from home/marketing management positions despite me not having given them any additional indications of life changes), this is the primary reason I will never unsubscribe from Indeed's email subscription. The ability to apply quickly when you are searching via a mobile device without having to copy your entire resume on an external website and ai filtering of potential employees for the employer are beneficial on both ends, saving time for both parties making the service desirable for both parties that are needed to maintain continued success in this industry.

Cons

Unfortunately, although out of your control, it would be much more convenient if every job posting allowed for the quick apply feature, as mobile internet use is increasing year by year while desktop use is on a similar decline. It would also be nice if there were more options to customize the recommendations you receive. Although as I mentioned the Algorithms do a great job, it would be nice if I could input very specific criteria of job recommendations that are more applicable to those searching for contracted work. For example, I am looking for small to mid size businesses in a specific radius with a population around 600,000 who are looking to optimize their online marketing budget and/or altogether create an e-commerce/online marketing revenue stream. There may be ways to do this that I am unaware of, but if that's the case it should be easier to locate the page within the domain or application to set something like this up.

### "Very Helpful and Affordable Tool for Hiring Employees"

April 21, 2021

4.0

It has saved me time when hiring and has helped me to find a several good employees over the last couple of years. It has expanded the range of people I can reach with hiring ads to include potential hires I would not find with local ads.

Pros

I can post jobs for free and then choose my budget if I decide I need better results. I can see how my ad is doing and easily make edits as needed. I like the feature where I can message potential employees directly on thier website and all the messages are saved. Because of this feature I was able to follow up with a previous applicant who had taken a temporary job and hire them when they became available again. They are now a very valuable employee in my restaurant! It is also very helpful that the job posts are extremely customizable. I can let the applicants know all the critcal information and include automated screenings to help me determine which applicants are the most qualified even before scheduling interviews. This is definitely a time saver.

Cons

It can get quite expensive when hiring for multiple positions. The only other con may not really be the fault of the software developers- I have just had a lot of people applying for a job that clearly stated specific experience was required and their job history did not include any of that experience. I am not sure if they could have a more detailed screening process for applicants so it would notify them that they didn't have the qualifications that the job required. It is frustrating to pay for an ad when all my applicants are unqualified.

Reason for choosing Indeed for Employers

I did not find as good of results with zip recruiter and they do not offer the same free posts that Indeed does.

### "Indeed a great website"

April 21, 2023

4.0

My general involvement in for sure is great. I've had the option to post occupations and secure positions effortlessly, and the Business Improvement group has a 92% positive survey rate. I'm ready to find quality competitors rapidly and the channels assist me with reducing my pursuit. I can likewise find support from For sure's interior group on the off chance that I'm experiencing difficulty making my work advertisements.

Pros

One of the greatest benefits of For sure is its usability. The site has a straightforward and natural format, making it simple to explore and find the data you want. Moreover, the stage extends to an extensive variety of employment opportunity postings from different businesses, making it an all in one resource for work searchers. Another benefit is its high level hunt capacities, which permit clients to channel work postings by area, compensation, organization, and that's just the beginning, making it simple to secure the ideal position for their capabilities and inclinations. Besides, Without a doubt permits clients to transfer and deal with their resumes, making it simple for likely businesses to view and reach them. Clients can likewise set up cautions for new position postings that match their standards, guaranteeing they botch no pertinent open doors. Furthermore, the For sure application permits clients to get to work postings and deal with their pursuit of employment in a hurry.

Cons

One of the most un-loved parts of the for sure quest for new employment entrance is the sheer number of tests managers frequently require possible contender to take after they go after a position. Moreover, there can be a ton of spam and obsolete work postings, making it hard to track down pertinent open doors.
