Pros It is better than the Linkedin because as from my observation we received a lot more quality applications when posted a job on both platforms. I would definitly recommend and will use it again for the next posting I have. Pros The Indeed team is responsive to inquiries and questions. It was also helpful to quickly receive updates on new applicants. The free version was great for what I needed as I was able to get the position filled w/in a month. Cons It was not so easy to locate my post, review it, and look for past applicants when I had not saved the CV and needed to reference later. When we've had issues the customer service team has always been quick and helpful. Pros We've had the most success from job hires from Indeed. We get a great pool of candidates, the cost is reasonable, and the customer support is fantastic. Cons It can be on the higher side of price for a job ad, but it's also been worthwhile as we have received great applicants through it. You log in, are you type in your credentials? You upload your resume, you create a profile. Indeed, also helps with custom resume formats. And based upon your skills and the type of work you are looking for They give you a very large, long list possible work using. Pros Indeed is the way that we do our job postings as a small employer one of the benefits, and that I really enjoyed was being able to recruit using the tools offered, and to contact qualified candidates from the start. Cons The expense of indeed can be daunting for a small business. We really had to limit our end budget and be diligent about the timeframe so that we could stay within our means. I also uploaded my most current resume. I have turned on notifications in the settings of my profile allowing indeed to notify me when jobs come up that fit my profile. Its fast to do so almost as soon as an employer has posted the opening. Then i apply using resume from indeed and get a response saying "you have applied for this job". There is a folder that shows all jobs applied for and when that is helpful to follow up on if you havent had a response. Pros I love the ease of applying for jobs on indeed by pressing a button your resume is attatched to questionaire from the employer. The employer can message you through indeed to set up an interview and indeed keeps track of jobs you have applied for all on your profile. January 19, 2026 4.0 It has been very good so far as a direct recruitment method. Although it costs to use Indeed's services, we have still saved a significant sum of money when compared to using indirect recruitment methods (i.e., recruitment agencies). Pros Indeed for Employers is perhaps our main recruitment method for attracting direct applicants. The Employer portal is easy to use and I like the fact that we have a dedicated Account Manager for any queries. Indeed is also a well-known website for jobs, so attracts a good number of applicants. Cons It seems that every single role we advertise need to be sponsored now to ensure we receive any applications. Depending on peak recruitment periods, this can get quite expensive!
