It's very easy to convert your thoughts to a presentable form/diagram easily. Cons Actually nothing. May be there are a lot of features that I do not use currently. But havent found anythign that I dislike yet. Cons If more sharing with team features and collaborative notes were added, it would definitely add even more to the app. It's great for building site maps quickly! Possibilities for diagram making are endless. There are many graph needed for our company's clients' websites, which I made through OmniGraffle Pro. The layouts are almost limitless with lots of different graphs, diagrams, and models which are highly modifiable depending on my own measurements. Cons The unavailability in different operating system is a downside especially that my workplace desktop operated on windows. Whether you want to make a website wireframe or a mobile app UI, you can quickly set the elements and reuse them. I’ve used it even to build my office setup, once I built the objects representing the furniture I could make multiple proposals in no time, and see if everything fit. (Don't even think of looking at Illustrator.)" March 6, 2018 5.0 Pros For most "business"-related or academic tasks, you don't need Illustrator to make a quick schematic. It'd be overkill. And for most people, learning Illustrator is hard. To the contrary, OmniGraffle is specifically designed for making professional-looking, crisp vector graphics in a very intuitive and effortless way. Like other Omni Group products (e.g., the excellent OmniFocus task management software), OmniGraffle is robust and packed with features. But it's also user-friendly and easy to understand and use. It's the perfect choice for technical schematics, circuit diagrams, org charts, flowcharts, wireframe diagrams, etc. Cons I wish there were more high-quality free stencils in the Stencil Town marketplace. Most of the nice ones cost some money. This doesn't detract from the software at all -- you can create whatever you want from scratch -- but if you'd like to jump ahead and use some nice "clipart-style" vector graphics, you might end up spending a few bucks like I did! Every time I require any kind of process flow charts I design them with omnigraffle. Pros You can design any kind of diagrams, charts, etc. You can export them to different type of formats that make it easier to visualize and organize. Cons I am a mac user, never had any problems or complains with it. Works just fine with everything i need. Costly, doesn't allow for an easy transition from Visio. Not user friendly in my opinion. On the Mac there is nothing better. Pros If you are a Mac User and need something to replace Visio, or just need a good diagraming program I would highly recommend OmniGraffle. It is easy to use, has a great set of features, and allows you to create powerful documents. It can't be beat. Cons I would love to see them offer this solution on Windows. However we found OmniGraffle the best in its class with an intuitive user interface and capability to import / export multiple formats. You will find it very easy to create or import your own stencils and start creating professional looking diagrams instantly. Pros This is a great program because its cost is well below what some of the larger and more feature packed programs offer. This one is not lacking on features thought. I get everything I need at a fraction of the cost. Cons I don't really have any issues with the software. Pros Liked OmniGraffle's integration capability with Jira and also the import / export features that is very helpful. Templates available with it were handy and aided in quick diagram creation. Cons Finding the features needed was relatively hard and also cross compatibility of the diagrams created within this platform was not great. Pros Omnigraffle is fantastic alternative to Visio for use on MacOS. It makes creating block diagrams of complex systems fairly easy. The interface is clean and the software was reliable. Pros For me, I like that the program can export your designs in a number of formats (PDF, JPEG, etc). Cons I wish it had the ability to allow for team collaboration.
