Pros: Google Drive is not just a cloud storage service offered by Google, it is also a set of tools that can enhance the functioning of web pages and Blogs.

Blogger and many other options for web publications do not have certain services related to file storage that allow you to extend beyond your own concept as a content editor for Blogs.

Google Drive can extend the capacity of applications such as Blogger or other means of web publishing to give them added value by offering "hosting" (hosting external files) or even functions that go beyond the storage of information through files, such as Use of forms. Let's briefly review some of the utilities offered by Google

Drive not only as a perfect complement to Blogger but also as a fantastic service for other web publishing media that can take advantage of its advantages.

1- Storage and management of forms with notifications by mail for your website or Blog.

2- Hosting a complete website.

3- Storage and hosting of resource files for your website or Blog.

4- Creating links to download files for your website or Blog.

5- Offer on your website or Blog presentations made with Google Docs.

6- Save to Drive for your website or Blog.

In short, Google Drive is a nice box of surprises that can offer utilities for your Blog or web that you might not have imagined and complement your daily work.

Cons: For me, it's easier to create locally, upload to the cloud and edit collaboratively. Each member of the team uploads their chapter to a master document or that corrections can be made to the document by several people at the same time.

Also in this case I prefer to use Microsoft's online tools. The fastest using the same tool both locally and online.

And also I do not have to change my document organization depending on whether a document is included in a folder that is synchronized with the cloud or not.

Overall: It allows to present your ideas, photographs and works by means of a presentation made with Google Docs and stored in Drive. Show it in your Blog or web to the size that you prefer and with the aspect that you want.

Allow your users to store in the cloud, in their own Drive account, the files that you offer from your website or Blog. No need to store them on a hard drive or external USB support, you can access them from home, your smartphone or wherever you want by accessing your Drive account. It is necessary to learn to use the Save to Drive button on your website.

Pros: Google has done a great job with the new user interface design of Google Drive. Now it looks easier to work with it because of its left side panel from where it is easy to add a new folder, file, doc, sheet, etc. The new font and Iconography looks really crisp from before. The new price changes made by Google Drive are also pretty likable such as the prices of Google One and others because the price range is now more affordable than before, which made me really happy to have more space even I pay less for it. I always love discounts so, this initiative made me really happy. Auto update of packages was great as I was using 100GB plan and automatically upgrade helped me to get more storage on that same price which made me more happy with the google drive storage service.

Cons: The competitor iCloud provides more space in less amount. It would be really appreciated if Google Drive provide it on same price or less, but as Google Drive's Free storage is still better then iCloud's storage and the User Interface beats it. So I will still prefer Google Drive over iCloud Storage. I will not compare Google Drive with Microsoft 365 Storage or Dropbox because they are charging more for fewer space and services. For me Google Drive is a winner and up in the competition because of its Prices and User Friendly Interface which no other service providers privides.

Overall: I am using Google Drive for the last three years. I have never lost my data or got a problem that couldn't be solved by the Google team. The best thing about the Google service is its team which helps quickly and solve the issue if it comes. The new UI and Price changes made it more likable. I hope it will be improved further especially the prices. I recommend Google Drive to everyone who has storage problem or their data get lost or corrupted in local storage. I am happy to have a reliable service provider and I use it daily to store and sync my data.

Pros: There is so much that I like about Google Drive. First, it is a feel tool. Secondly, it has a large storage. I have thousands of pictures and short video of past projects and I can always access them anytime with less hurdles. It is also easy to integrate Google Drive with other Google services. The file sharing feature is also great for our organisation as it is easy to share files with other Engineers when planning a meeting or after inspecting a project. Furthermore, I also like the ability to comment on files. Last but not least, you can synchronize Google Drive in all your devices which makes it easy to access and store files.

Cons: Although the ability to edit files across is an amazing feature, if one of the editors deletes the file, you will end up losing it forever. The free version is great but limited in terms of space. If you need more space, you have to subscribe for the extra space and it is not affordable. Another thing I do not like about Google drive is that you need god internet to make full advantage of this tool. When moving large files, it is time consuming and in case of network interruption, Google Drive is not able to quickly continue from where you left (am not sure whether this a problem with our company internet or a problem with my PC)

Overall: Although there are as many hurdles as the pros, I can live with the cons as Google Drive is constantly updated and soon am sure all the problems will be addressed. I would recommend anyone to start with the free version and if they like it, they can then upgrade for a better version. So far, Google Drive meets our company needs.

Pros: WHY CHOOSE GOOGLE DRIVE?

Simply because it offers more storage space in the cloud in its free plan of 15 GB in total compared to other hosting services, however, this space is actually the general of the entire Google account, since it also counts the space that contain your Google+ photos and your Gmail emails.

But despite this apparent limitation the space offered by Google Drive continues to be much higher compared to other storage services, therefore, store all your files on the Internet and have them always available in your account is what Google Drive offers you , always having the possibility of obtaining more storage capacity.

Cons: I must say that after several years of using Google Drive, which has greatly facilitated my work and my personal activities as a blogger to be able to store all my PDF, WORD, IMAGES, ETC. I find very few disadvantages in Google Drive, such as:

. - Google Drive Does not offer statistics for downloaded or viewed documents

. - If the documents have several editors or collaborators could be eliminated by one of them.

. - Although Google offers to be able to index advertisements in several of its products in the case of Google Drive, this is not the case, which would allow the downloads to be monetized while visualizing the study documents made by oneself, an option that would avoid cumbersome shorteners being used for downloads.

Despite these apparent disadvantages of Google Drive are really only small details that can be improved in an era in which massive communication and monetization of the pages are the order of the day.

Overall: In addition to the usual files that can be shared on Google Drive, there are some special documents "THE GOOGLE DOCS" which is another point for me that clearly highlights Google Drive.

These are similar to Microsoft Office's "GOOGLE TEXT DOCUMENT WOULD BE WORD EQUIVALENT" and "GOOGLE'S CALCULATION SHEET WOULD BE THE EXCEL EQUIVALENT" with the difference that there may be several people working on it at the same time being a great help for work at distances in groups or teams.

All this plus the synchronization of folders and files from the computer or mobile device which allows to edit the files since, Google Drive will analyze the changes and apply them to your files in the cloud, this happens with all the actions "delete, edit, add "and with all types of files from any synchronized device, sharing documents now becomes easier when they ask for topics or shared analysis in some kind of format

Pros: I have been using this software by Google since last 5-6 years, both on my mobile devices and on computer. One of the best feature of this software is its syncing capabilities across various platforms. I don't need to manually sync any information from my mobile device to my computer.

Google Drive does it automatically based on my account I logged in on all devices.

Further I can just access any information from my any devices anywhere using my login credentials and don't need to carry storage device to carry my information along with me. This makes me feel safer while accessing my sensitive information remotely.

Also, you can have various options from their paid plans to get the cloud storage. Which I think is best option to store your important information rather than saving that physically on storage devices.

I would say this is one of the best software for remotely storing your information and accessing that safely using login credentials. Best software provided by Google. I would definitely recommend this software to anyone who need to access information across various devices.

Cons: Not many cons I noticed but yes one of not so good feature I can say is that sometimes it becomes difficult to find what data has been shared publicly and what is set as private.

It should have some kind of definite identification of data shared as public and the private records.

Overall: Overall I would say I am very happy to use this software. I have been using this software on Microsoft Windows and Android Mobile devices and never thought of using any other software for my cloud storage needs.

Pros: Google drive is a one stop shop for personal or business use storage of files, photos, and music. I have used Google drive since it's inception, and it's constantly evolving to be the ultimate storage option for me. I have used it for years, and have the free 15GB version, and have not even come close to using all of my storage. I can drag and drop photos, excel files, word doc and it's seam less. I can then open these up in the provided Google app, or download them again to open them locally. If you don't have Office installed on your local computer it's so much easier to select the Google app and open it right up. It's easily organized, and displays the most recent files at the top of the main drive page. I use it for both personal and business purposes, and it's always there. Never do you have to worry about the drive dying on your, and losing your data. Many times my external drives have died, and I lose everything, not with Google drive though, all of my data is always there. You can also buy more drive space if needed.

Cons: The apps or add ins used to open excel or power point files, and be a little dodgy sometimes, and when you drag and drop a file to the drive itself, it will open the file in a pre-view mode that you then, have to right click, and select one of the drive apps to use.

Overall: I really like the drive. As I said above, I use it for both personal and business reasons, and really like it's ease of use. I trust it for everyday use, and I use it everyday! I have tried drop box, as well as others, and just find Google Drive to be the easiest of them all.

Pros: The ever useful Google Ecosystem. (It has access to other Google services like their Gmail and Google Documents, where the latter allows seamless transition when a document file, like a word document or a spreadsheet, is opened)

Integration with a plethora of web based services.

Extremely intuitive user interface.

Simple file sharing capabilities.

Easily monitoring of the documents' activity log.

Computer syncing, which allows the backing up of files on your computer.

The mobile app allows the files to be easily accessed anywhere, the mobile website is also well-designed.

Free 15GBs of storage, though it is shared with Gmail.

Decently priced if you're opting for the paid version.

Cons: File sharing requires a Google account. (Can be mitigated as you don't exactly need to register a gmail account in order to have a Google account)

Google's ecosystem makes it rather difficult to communicate with other services outside of the Google ecosystem, like Microsoft's Outlook.

May need to be refreshed multiple times to see any 'real-time' changes.

Ease of access by multiple users for a single document may cause some issues like multiple edits on the same time, or the risk of having someone sabotaging the documents.

Rather nit-picky opinion, but it does not have a personal customization capabilities like those on other Google applications like Gmail.

Overall: Easy to use, simple and no-nonsense, on top with the fact that it provides a generous 15GBs on free storage, Google Drive is my personal go-to cloud storage. With it's ease of file sharing, making sure that everybody can access the document is a breeze, editing them on the fly is seamless due to its integration with G Suite. The creme de la creme is that all of these are free, and you would only need to upgrade the plans if you're in desperate need of more storage.

Pros: The best thing, first off is it's free, which is always a great thing! The second thing is that it can hold so much memory in the drive. I mean I have at least a thousand photos and tons of videos stored in it and never have any issues finding specific photos or videos (once I figured it all out, that is...)! I love that it shows a thumbnail of each photo/video, so you know what you are actually clicking into, which makes it a cinch to find any file at anytime, even on a tiny smart phone. It's always a plus that you can share photos or files so easily, with just a click of the button and it's paramount that they have the audience setting right in clear sight, as to no need to search and worry that your file just went public! Anyway, Google definitely has saved my days many times over!!

Cons: My only pet peeve about it is that it's not organized correctly. When I first started using it a few years back, I felt like I was going around in circles trying to access different areas of the drive? It took me awhile to wrap my brain around where things were saved to, when I accidentally clicked upload to drive and went searching all over for that one file! That's how the whole Google Drive thing started in the first place, by accident! Anyway, once I figured it all out, and believe me, google's "help" pages, at that time, did NOT help at all, I started using it all of the time. But I had so many duplicate files because of not being able to find them originally, it's not even funny, so that was my main pet peeve. And like all software, gadgets, computers, appliances, etc..., there's always a few glitches here and there, but that's to be expected and necessary some times! ;)

Pros: The best features of Google Drive are it's integration with other Google Services. What easily separates Google Drive from competing services like Dropbox and OneDrive are its immediate integration with on-line productivity tools and its ease-of-use for multiple user coordination. While other services such as OneDrive and Dropbox do make sharing easy, Google Drive stands out with its highly integrated productivity suite. OneDrive does have integration with Office Online tools, but the Microsoft online productivity suite lags behind Google in terms or ease-of-access and general use (Google has a several year head-start on Microsoft in the field of online productivity tools.)

Cons: There really aren't many cons about Google Drive, only minor thoughts that might be more personal to myself as a user or scale-specific security concerns that only apply to specific industries or projects. One such minor thing is I find folder navigation slightly cumbersome as compared to off-line file navigation programs on both Windows, Android, and Mac/iOS platforms I've used. However, this has also been my experience in OneDrive. This, then, indicates the problem may be more with myself as a user than the product. ;) Other issues regarding security for file sharing really only apply to regulated industries such as healthcare, financial, or social services industries that all have specific regulatory requirements and dedicated services for sharing files and information.

Overall: Google Drive is a fantastic service for personal and professional projects. Some security concerns with user-directed information distribution would make this product inappropriate for some industries. However, this is overall a must-use/must-know central piece of productivity software for any general office manager or coordinator!

Pros: - Ease of use: it doesn't get easier than Google Drive. We use Google Drive with our business G Suite account, the ease of use makes onboarding new employees quick and simple which means less wasted time for management.

- Accessibility: Access from ANYWHERE. Instant upload and instant availability means accessing files on the go is simple and fast.

- File sharing: Add an email address and you're good to go. Easily set permissions for what that person is able to do (view only, edit, organize, share, etc.) and change those permissions just as quickly if need be.

- File sharing expiration: We love this feature. We share images with our clients and give them a time frame to have the option to download or save their files. You can customize that time frame for any length of time. After that window of time is up, the link automatically stops sharing. No setting reminders or deleting share permissions.

- Commenting on files: Just found this little gem and it's amazing. We have a lot of shared files and folders, you can easily comment or make notes on both. This is very helpful if the folder is missing something or a file needs annotating but you don't want to markup the actual file.

Cons: - File "corruption": Occasionally one of our shared files will be opened on a PC and someone else will open it on a Mac and for some reason that doesn't always go smoothly on the back end. The next time you open the file it sometimes says it's corrupted. Luckily, (a "pro") Google Drive automatically saves "versions" so you can fairly easily restore an earlier version before the file was corrupted and typically you don't lose any changes or information. Mostly just an inconvenience.

- Commenting on files: While this is a huge "pro", the only downside is that the comments are not timestamped or dated so it's hard to keep a string of comments or notes going to show updates or changes.

Overall: Our company shares a lot of files and folders within the company as well as outside our organization with customers. Google Drive has been a simple solution to keep everyone on the same page with shared files/folders and gives us the option to temporarily share files with clients using the permission expiration features. We love that it keeps everything in one place but is easily accessible from just about anywhere.

Pros: Stable and reliable, which I definitely need for my files.

This is very easy to use and fast. I can easily access my files online from anywhere.

There is also an offline version that is very easy for moving files around.

The folder structure is brilliant for organising my files but the real gold (as you'd expect from Google) is the search functionality. I can find my files very easily.

The beauty is that it is FREE.

The free storage space can be very generous but beware. See cons below.

Cons: The free storage space can be very generous but Google has been known to encourage you to link the photos and videos from your phone and store them on your drive pushing your usage up very quickly and they then reduce the space allowed overnight forcing you to either reduce your usage with time-consuming deleting and moving from your Google drive to your hard drive, or the easier option forcing you to pay them a subscription to buy more data. I didn't find this particularly ethical and it did put me off Google who have otherwise been very generous in disrupting the greedy software companies from emptying our bank accounts into theirs.

Moving files in Drive is really awkward, time-consuming, unpractical and not pleasant at all. The only way around it is to do it in the offline Windows Explorer version.

Overall: Before Drive, we had physical hard drives that fail and lose all of your data. Finding documents in the hard drives was difficult and of course, buying drives and backing them up was costly in terms of money and time.

Drive has given me a reliable, stable alternative to this which has the added benefits of access anywhere around the world and an offline version where I am off grid. Other than the unethical reduction of storage I'd advise everyone to store this way.

For ease of use- so so helpful!

Pros: Google Drive has been a fantastic product to use in the line of work I do. I work for a designer who needs me to order product, keep maticulous details, create catalogs of merchandise ect... for that, google drive has been such a great collaborative tool! My work is seen in real time, the changes and comments can be made instantaneous and my work is ALWAYS saved!! I love that I can share and collaborate on every project and that my time spent ( billable time) is also tracked in the details of the folders! So helpful

Cons: Google Drive works best with a very high internet connection. My boss doesn't have such high speed internet and often the files won't load, won't print, ect. I often have to take screen shots or convert items to PDF's and email them just to have her see them. While these documents have lots of functionality... it is also limited to internet.

One more thing I absolutely HATE about google docs is that they don't have the functionality of the general Microsoft package. Simple things like - sorting A-Z in Sheets, or uploading images into cells need research and modules added into the system to make them function. While this is not a super big deal- when you have very large projects, it can be extremely hard to make the documents/sheets function properly. Some simple, easy features would go a long way!

Also- several times the google docs have caused my computer to freeze up or crash. I am not sure why this is, but it happens probably once or twice a week after I've been working in a google doc or sheet for a few hours. This is never convienient.

Overall: Overall I think the expirience with Google Drive is a very positive one! I hope they continue to improve the accessibility, ease of use, and overall customer expirience but I won't be giving it up ANY time soon!

Pros: I use Google Drive to store all my photos and files. All the files and folders gets uploaded on the backend; there is no need for a manual upload. Google drive's app allow searching for content easy and gives you access to the entire Gsuite in one place.

If you have Google photos then there is no 'Cap' to the amount of photos you can upload. It lowers the quality to 'HD' but it is more than good enough compromise to have a free unlimited storage. I have been using Google Drive to back up all of my photos over a year all free of cost.

I can also share files to my family and files very easily through any app or send an editable sharing link for collaborative work with your colleagues. Since it is also integrated with Gmail, you are able to save the email attachment directly from your Gmail to your Gdrive.

Cons: Google Drive's Mac app is not as intuitive as their mobile apps. On PC desktop computers if you have set up a folder to sync it sometimes does not sync fully and therefore does not update any new files you load into that folder - this is a big issue if you are using it to sync work documents.

On Mac, if you remove some files from your folder Google drive also removes those files from its system rendering the whole thing useless. Fortunately, this can be altered inside the setting but due to the app not being user friendly this information can get lost.

Overall: Overall, I love Gdrive for the unlimited storage offering and easy sharing ability of your files to friends, family and colleagues. The cloud storage offering is second to none, which overrides some of the nuances such file syncing problems.

Pros: Google Drive, like all applications developed by Google, is an excellent option to solve everyday problems and make use of technologies to have an easier life.

It is a tool that has enhanced the service that a cloud of storage on the Web normally offers. It allows you to save photos, save files in different formats, create files in the cloud to share with many people and everyone can edit them, as well as save large volume files of your emails and even create backup copies of your smartphones.

Pros

- It's an excellent cloud.

- If you have developed a document in the tool and share it with other people you can see it and edit it at the same time as you.

- You can upload heavy files and save them there to download them at any time or place.

- All the information is synchronized with your smart devices and you have it available anywhere in the world.

Cons: - If you do not protect your access password very well, you may lose information about your account.

- If a document has several editors and some of them delete the information you can lose it forever.

- If you want more storage you must subscribe to an expensive plan.

- You always need Internet to navigate in this tool.

Overall: I use Google Drive for many things. There I have put together documents of everything I need to have on hand both on the computer and on the smartphone.

I use it mainly to distribute a weekly session of journalistic work, in which each journalist has topics assigned to write his news in the week. In this way, everyone can see the news that each person has and the transparency in the work can be seen.

I also keep photos and videos that I want to keep forever.

I send serial chapters and movies from Venezuela to my brother who is in Spain. It's great, I recommend it 100%.

Pros: My absolute favorite thing about Google Drive is the ability to collaborate with others. I have used Google Drive for my group assignments from middle school and all the way through to college. It has made group projects easy to keep track of and easy to share. I love how I can work on a word document, power point document or even an excel worksheet with anyone by simply sharing the link. It takes the hassle away from downloading programs because Google Drive is entirely online. I can access all my files from any device, any place, and any time. I don't even install word processor programs on my new devices anymore. I just use Google Drive because it's simple and it just works.

Cons: My biggest gripe about Google Drive is the lack of formatting and design options for things like Google docs and Google slides. The most accurate way to put it is that the programs are very bare bones. Most of the time you can get away with it but sometimes my professors require things to be formatted in such a way that Google docs and Google slides doesn't support. Google has added more functionality to google drive since it's release back in 2012, but if it wants to compete with Microsoft, they need to add more features that are in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint.

Overall: I like the ability to have all my documents on the cloud. I don't have to worry about losing a document due to hard drive failure or deleting an document because it's always going to be online. Overall, I have to say even for a free software it's a complete bargain. You get most of the features of Word for free and it's entirely on the web browser. What's not to love about that? The only thing they can improve on in my eyes with Google Drive is if they added more flesh out options that could make Microsoft Word obsolete. I have to say overall my experience with Google Drive has been consistently positive and I will be using this software for many more years to come in both my academic and my future career.

Pros: - You only need to have a Gmail account, which until now is the best free email service that exists.

- It can be synchronized with all devices within our reach: personal pc, pc or work laptop, tablet or mobile, either installed on the devices as an application or entering through a web browser.

- Being able to synchronize with the devices mentioned above we only need access to the internet to enjoy your benefits. For the mobile application there is the possibility of configure the documents that

are necessary to edit them without connection to Internet.

- With internet access and device synchronization, we allows you to see the content stored in the cloud and the possibility of edit it and share it, the owner of the file is the one who selects who you can

edit or not.

- All kinds of information is stored, text files, sheets of calculation, presentations, music, video, images.

- It works in a similar way to a version manager, so it becomes a collaborative tool, in which you can review the changes made by other people.

- You can organize the content easily through folders.

- If people are familiar with the use of mail, it will be very easy handling of the tool, currently has improved the usability of Google Drive, is more intuitive, in its beginnings maybe It was a bit more complicated to understand, but it has had its improvements, , especially when looking for content.

Cons: The main problem I find is that the available size of free storage is 15Gb, which seems like a lot of space, but it's shared with email (Gmail) and Google Photos for backup copies, users like me, that receives great number of daily mails and heavy content because it is little space. Of course it is possible to extend it but it already implies a cost additional that some of us can not cover.

- By sharing a file or document and allowing it to be edited, we run the risk of losing it if by mistake the partner remove from the tool.

Overall: - Something really wonderful is that Google Drive allows you to scan or take a picture of a text and convert it into an editable document, it is say, you do not have to rewrite the content.

- I recommend with closed eyes to use Google Drive for the preparation of a thesis or special degree work, since you can return to an earlier version if you regret a change accomplished.

- A functionality that has helped us at work, is in the creation of forms, which allow to design small simple or multiple selection surveys to make some decision important.

An Excellent Collaborative Tool.

Pros: - Free Storage: With 15 GB of generous free storage, it successfully fulfills it's primary objective of saving space and providing an easy backup for your computer and mobile devices hard drives. Storing and downloading the backup is relatively easy as compared to other cloud softwares out there.

- Google Docs Integration: Google Drive isn't just about storage with it's integrated Google Docs, which is a web-based freeware office suite including Docs (word processor), Sheets (spreadsheet) and Slides (presentation) as it's companion apps and is great for producing varieties of contents. It provides almost real-time collaboration with others with it's options like suggested edits and comments.

- Intuitive Interface: It's online design has improved radically over the last few years. The main page shows thumbnails of your recent documents in the middle, a menu of all your folders (shared files, photos, starred, trash, etc.) along the left trail and options for sharing, previewing, seeing information about a selected file, etc. on the right. Syncing the data is quick where you just have to add your files to the Sync folder on your file system and the files will be uploaded to the cloud depending on your network speed.

Cons: - Security: If your privacy is your biggest concern, you should look for a more secured option as there's no end-to-end encryption on offer as well as Google collects data from your online activities for targeted ads. Thus, there's a threat to your data stored on the cloud.

- Pricing: Although it offers a sweet range of plans when it comes to the price, there are better deals present out there like Sync.com. That being said, with all the features it offers, you get your money's worth.

Overall: I've been using Google Drive for quite sometime now mainly for freeing up space on my hard drives and partially for creating and editing contents through Google Docs. With it's user-friendly Interface and quick access speed, it offers some excellent features at an affordable cost and hence, makes for a great collaborative productivity tool.

Pros: It's easy to use, it's generous storage, and it allows you to forego up front licensing models of competitors like Microsoft Office in favor of a subscription "pay for what you use" model.

We use Drive as a part of Google Apps for Enterprise, and I don't think you can diassociate those applications from Drive; they're bundled together. You either get all of them or none of them, basically, which is a plus or a minus, depending on your perspective.

Also, it's a bit weird to review just Drive without taking those other things into consideration, but I'll try.

Easily the most stable software platform we've ever subscribed to.

Cons: Customer support is always Google's weakest point. The company is congenitally against allowing customers to talk directly to support representatives, although it's definitely getting better about it lately.

Access is entirely dependend on internet access. If Comcast or Verizon lets you down, uh...you're kind of hosed.

Overall: We use Drive for all collaboration and for a lot of content creation. We create policy documents, collaborate on ideas, create tests and forms, and generally use the heck out of Google Drive and its related applications (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Slides, etc).

The Google business app ecosystem is incredibly powerful and user-friendly. It just works. It always works. It works so well you take it for granted. It works on desktop, it works on mobile. It works even better on ChromeOS.

Google Sign-In is perhaps the greatest security boon for administration, too. If you disable one account, all related functionality that relies on Google Sign-In is also disabled for that user, so multiple platforms can be administered from one console / user login. If an employee leaves, you just disable their account and all their logins to all the applications that use Google Sign-In are also disabled.

The permissions system is also good and getting better. It's very intuitive and works like it's supposed to.

We've been using Google Apps for Enterprise for 10 years now, and have never regretted it.

Pros: Good Drive is an easy to use and convenient cloud storage platform. I have been using Google Drive with my personal and professional life for about 10 years now. The account will be tied to your Gmail and is easy to access from your email. I believe Google gives you 15 GB for free when you start using it and anything additional is pretty cheap.

Google drive is convenient to have if you are using different devices to access files. I have it synced on my iPad, Android Phone, Laptop, and Desktop. It has specific apps for the mobile devices and even works with IOS. You can share files that might be too large to email by copying a link to it or inviting people to view and collaborate.

Google Drive also has docs, sheets, and presenter built into the platform. So basically it is like an entire Microsoft office for free with cloud and collaboration in it. What more can you ask for? Google drive is also great for collaboration for 2 or more people. You can set permissions with individual people on read only or editing documents. Each file or directory can have its own collaborators. If you haven't used Google Drive than you are missing out and worth trying out.

Cons: Nothing bad about a free product that does virtually everything you might want from it. Google gives you free space by default and additional space is cheap. I suppose the only thing that might improve is advanced features on Doc and Sheets. Make it more intuitive and easier to use advanced functions in these two platforms.

Pros: There is not just one thing I like most, so I have included several of my favorites:

*Being able to upload files to Google Drive in a matter of seconds.

*The ability to share documents with other people but with limits/permissions. For example, Tom needs some totals from my excel spreadsheet to include with his reports for management. When I share this file with Tom I give him permission to see the file, but not to make any changes or edit.

*When you share a file, an email is sent to the person letting them know that a file has been shared with them and includes a direct link to that file.

*Organization and search features are great and easy to navigate. You can create folders to keep files organized and if you are having trouble finding a file that someone has shared with you there is a filter that shows you all files that have been shared with you and by whom.

Cons: To be able to share and send files using Google Drive the recipient has to have a gmail email address. While many people do have a gmail account not everybody I correspond with has one.

Overall: I work as a Financial Officer and use Drive almost on a daily basis. There are multiple reports that are (updated either by me or the other users with edit permission) used in our weekly meeting and the data needs to be accurate, current and in a single format and Drive has allowed us to make this happen. Before Drive, everyone would print out and bring their reports and we would spend time flipping back and forth between pages and it was not productive and easy to become frustrated. Now using Google Drive we go into our meeting knowing that we are prepared and are able to accomplish our goals more quickly and efficiently than ever before.

Google Drive is a no-brainer when it comes to cloud storage and collaborative works.

Pros: Google is well known for their incredibly featured packed and polished products and Google Drive is among one of their most useful tools. It's great that anyone that has a Gmail account will automatically have access to this since it's actually sharing the same storage space with your email inbox.

Simply put, Google Drive is a multi-purpose application that can be used to save and store important files (word documents, PDFs, spreadsheets), allowing you to access them anywhere, anytime and on any device as long as you have access to the Internet. You can also give and share access for others to either "view only" or allowing them to directly alter contents for your files or just provide comments on the side.

Google Drive can also be used as an "extension" of your own hard drive, where you can store files or even use it as a way to transfer files between your own devices or with others. Compared to others, Google Drive provides much more storage space and features that arguably makes it the best free cloud storage provider.

Cons: There's really not much not to like about Google Drive. If anything, the only big issue I have are the upgrade options for your storage space.

While the 15GB free option provides a lot of space, it can get used up quite fast for those who have been using Gmail for the past 10 years or more since it's sharing the same storage. The next upgrade immediately jumps to 100GB, which most would find to be way too much. Having a lower tier upgrade would make more sense for most people.

Pros: Google Drive is one stop software that is easy to use and navigate. It comes with a quick tutorial and then you're off to the races. The interface is easy to navigate, even for the novice among us. The best feature (of many) is the ability to save your photos, pdfs, contacts, copies of bills and really anything you can think of from your cell phone or computer with the quick touch of a button. There is no need to worry about running out of room on your cell phones internal storage or SIM card. You can feel secure knowing that once you send to and save the data to your Google Drive, you can delete it from your cell phone or computer and free up so much room, while still accessing it with a click of the Google Drive app.

Say you've saved an important document from your cell phone to your Google Drive, but your phone is dead and you need to access that document asap. As long as you sign into your Google account, you can retrieve that document on any other device that will go on-line.

Google Drive is also great for sharing documents between your home and work computers without having to worry about losing flash drives or incompatible software that can't open your file.

Never worry again that your digital photos will be lost to old hardware or software storage issues. Google Drive has a vast amount of storage space for every photo you take and even organizes them for you.

Cons: I would like Google Drive to offer a more in-depth tutorial for users who need a little extra help understanding the concept of external storage. While the tutorial is sufficient for most people, older generations could use a bit more help understanding all of Google Drives functions.

Overall: Google Drive changed the way I stored my photos, documents and bill copies. I no longer worry about having printer paper, ink or running out of storage on my devices. The ability of Google Drive to store and organise my photos has made it so much easier for me to locate important pictures and keep them safe.

Google Drive replaced every other storage device I used in the past. I no longer have file cabinets full of even years worth of paperwork, photo albums collecting dust on shelves, and numerous flash drives and external hard drives that needed to be plugged in and sorted to access anything.

Pros: I have worked as a teacher for a couple of years, during which I have used Google Drive on multiple occasions. You can upload files to this cloud easily and even download the mobile application on your smart phone so you can see what is in it at any time. It is very helpful in my profession, since it allows me to share any information with my students quickly and on the other hand, it allows them to send me back homework, essays and even presentations for the class. It is extremely easy to use, fast and allows you to upload large documents and even folders full of documents, photos and presentations.

Another great benefit is that it is free, so you only need a computer, tablet or smart phone to use it. This software can be used for work, study or even for personal use, since you can literally save what you want.

Cons: Google Drive is one, but the best storage cloud that is currently on the market, the only aspect I can find against is that after using the 15GB of free storage, you must pay to have more, something that not everything The world can be allowed, but that is totally reasonable considering the high quality of the software compared to others.

Overall: This software has been added to the tools that I use in class, becoming a fundamental aspect. It allows me to share files such as photos, documents, presentations or any type of information that can complement or improve their learning. It also allows me to organize all the information I have in the account so that I can access what I want in seconds. Finally, it helps me to receive assignments in class, essays, investigations, among others. Especially useful for receiving those large files, too heavy to be sent by mail.

Pros: When I said Google's got you covered... It may scare some of you in terms of privacy and lock-in with Google services. But the fact is that Google pretty much covers all my computing needs and having my files in their service streamlines my work (from email, straight to Drive, open with Docs/Sheets shared to almost anyone...) It just works for me.

The background sync app works flawlessly without much toll on computing resources. And the mobile app also is easy to use.

Google Drive has been updated/extended to include Team Drives (for our company). This further simplifies file access management and controls.

We basically backup everything in the cloud now. We work locally on our PCs, then we allow Google Drive to sync it in the background for backup. Drive is pretty intuitive to use both via the web browser, or even as if just accessing a file locally on your hard drive.

For devices with small storage capacity, you may select only the folders you need to sync with your device (and not the entire Drive).

Cons: Organizing your files and folder structure via the Web interface may be difficult (better option is to do it via File explorer via PC/Mac and then sync to the cloud).

Overall: Google Drive is a reliable place to store and backup your files on the cloud. Many other cloud services have folded-up, but I'm pretty confident that Google (Drive) service is here to stay. We never experienced any downtime with Drive, and as long as we're connected to the Internet, we have access to our files. Drive will simplify your workflow when using files across different devices and across different Google services (e.g., from email, to photos, to docs, sheets, etc). :)

Pros: There aren't enough words to explain what I like most about Google Drive, so let me just explain how it has helped me. I use Google drive both personally and professionally. In my personal life, I have been able to digitize all of my family's important documents. I know that no matter what I always have access to birth certificates, medical cards, passports, immunization/medical records, and much more (like videos, mp3 files, etc) . This has saved me so much time, energy, and effort when I have needed to access them immediately. Plus I know they are safe and if anything ever happened to the physical copies my life would not be a total struggle trying to re-establish myself. Professionally, I used google drive at work everyday. I am able to work on the same files simultaneously and share and documents with co-workers. We are able to all use and view shared folders, which saves paper (and us from unnecessary emails and meetings because we all know exactly where to find the things we need. I also have the Google drive app on my phone and I love how it can be used with other apps (like CamScanner), which increases my overall productivity.

Cons: I don't really have a 'con' when it comes to this product. As long as I have wifi and can access my drive, I am good. I would suggest a best practice though. It is good to sort and keep your drive organized so you are not overwhelmed by everything you upload into it and are not struggling to find things when you need them.

Pros: There are several things I like most about Google Drive, one being accessibility. I use Google Drive on my computer, tablet, and phone with no loss of functionality. The ability to access files, especially large ones, without logging into the work server is convenient and easy. I can edit any of those files right then and there, without having to download them to a local drive, and then I can share it with any of my coworkers. Even better, Google Drive allows collaborative work, and we can work as a team on the same project. Because it is so convenient and easy, I immediately download the Google Drive app on any new device. The web version is great, and the app is right on par with the level of functionality I need. I think I might actually like the app better, just because the layout is bit more intuitive. Even so, every version of Google Drive I've used has mostly the same tools and ease of use. Also a favorite feature, is how integrated Google Drive has become with devices, other software, and applications. I have set it up as the default application for several functions on my mobile device, and the experience is seamless.

Cons: While my experience with Google Drive has been mostly positive, I do sometimes find it frustrating to use. 99% of the time, the cross-functionality and accessibility across a wide variety of devices and platforms is one of my favorite things. Sometimes, however, that 1% of the time, I will find that a perfectly normal file won't open properly, or when it was uploaded to Google Drive, it confirmed that action successful, but good luck finding where it went. Again, this is not a common occurrence, but it does seem to happen when I'm in a time crunch or have critical need for a file that I can't open.

Overall: It'd be easier to state what benefits I do NOT receive. The flexibility, accessibility, functionality, ability to share - all of these are critical at one time or another. Google Drive has ALL of this, neatly packaged and easy to use. We have cloud storage on our company network and it works well enough, but when anything goes wrong, we cannot access files. Google Drive has yet to go down - I can access my files from anywhere. For me, the app makes it even better. Since my phone is my main mobile device, I have access to Google Drive anywhere. The app makes it so simple to use, and I don't have to use any additional apps to accomplish my tasks. I've also noticed that if there is a file upload size limit, I don't know what it is because none of my files have ever triggered a warning, and some of my files include graphics. Also, the amount of storage is massive - more than enough for my needs and then some.

Pros: There are number of great features about Google Drive. As a cloud file manager, it has almost all the features one would need. It allows for sorting, color coordination, folders, and your run-of-the-mill copy, paste, and move features. The user-interface is smooth, simple, and intuitive. Using a minimalist design, Google Drive does an excellent job of incorporating each and everyone one of its features flawlessly.

Furthermore, Google Drive has sharing capabilities. Built into its programming, Sharing allows the user to have certain documents that can be edited simultaneously alongside other Google Drive users. If you want to only give them read access, that is available as well. While anyone can provide a system by which documents can be sorted and stored in the cloud, sharing and collaboration does take it to the next level.

The best function of Google Drive, however, would be its ability to work as a backup. When downloaded to a computer, Google Drive can be used to automatically back up items to Google Drive in case of any theft or damage to your personal devices. A nice feature is that it works both ways. If I were to take a document off of the backup, edit it, and then re-upload it, it would update my changes to my computer. This allows for increased productivity.

Google Drive is certainly one of the most feature-rich and design-intuitive cloud-based storage systems available today.

Cons: While file managing, backups and user friendliness are great, there are some features that Google Drive does not offer. For instance, there is no item count on folders. Furthermore, when downloading a large number of files, it automatically zips files rather than giving you the option to download them zipped or separately. Storage is somewhat pricey once the first 5 GB of free storage is used up, although one can avoid any cost by simply monitoring the amount of storage used.

Pros: 1. You can store various kind of data files (for ex. .zip, .jpeg, .avi, .mp3 etc)

2. It has auto save feature, i.e automatically saves the changes made, at the same time.

3. The app version (for android, apple) allows for offline viewing.

4. You can share files, by adding the person to access or by sharing the link.

5. You can share files, with privacy level chosen by you (Only view/ Can edit etc.).

6. An initial of 15GB space is available to the user, which pretty much sufficient.

7. It has device versatility, can be shared between all sorts of devices (for ex. all the version of Windows, Mac etc).

Cons: 1. There are apps to view, sometimes edit document offline, but still it's easier to store it locally on PC.

2. After free 15GB storage, it asks for payment in USD, to increase the storage further.

3. At the end of the contracted service period, google asks to renew the plan.

4. Few of the apps, which work with Google Drive, ask for payment for full access to them.

5. Google's business model is predicating and analyzing vast amounts of personal information and then selling it to advertisers. So if we see, our private data is accessible to them, which is not preferable.

Overall: 1. I have access to 15GB free storage.

2. I share files and documents with people.

3. Sharing images on Whatsapp would reduce the quality, so the Google Drive helped me share stuff with people, without having to compromise with the quality.

4. I have my important presentations and docs also saved and stored in it, be it videos, images, documents, presentations.

5. I'm having a good backup, if I somehow loose stuff from my PC.

6.. I will continue to use it in future as well.

Thank you.

Pros: I work as a part time online English Tutor. Google Drive has been one (among the many) FREE online program that I use to teach. Here are the things that I like about it.

1. Enables one to save files (documents, photos, videos, audio files) other than your computer hard drive. It's like a back up storage just in case your PC crash. I do not store any documents with sensitive information though.

2. I can access my files anywhere I am as long as I have internet connection.

3. Allows me to sync across devices.

4. I can share documents to others. I used Google Drive to host some PDF lesson materials for my online tutoring. I just give the link to my students and they can view the PDF file. There is no need for them to download the material.

5. I can also store some video files. Google Drive does not only store, but host it as well. I will just include the link in my document. Student clicks on the link, and watch the videos. Google Drive used to host my audio files too (for listening exercises) but for some reason, it stopped. I have to download a third party audio software since then.

Cons: For some reason, Google Drive stopped hosting my audio files directly. Whenever I try to open the link, it tells me to download a third party audio software. If it is just me, I wont mind, but some of my students are not technical. And they shun to anything that will require them to download due to fear of malwares and virus.

Overall: I was able to share lessons materials (PDF documents and videos) with my students without the need to download it on their end. Making online learning safer (computer) on my student's end.

Comments: I have recommended Google Drive to countless people - both to my business associates and my personal friends, family, and acquaintances. I've used a few other cloud storage options and they are not as user friendly, well designed, accessible, or versatile. Google Drive basically a free version of Microsoft Office and gives you cloud storage to back it up. I recently helped in convincing our entire company to switch to G Suite for all our company needs. Google Drive saved me during college (didn't have to worry about my hard drives crashing), helped me organize my personal life, and have made our company much more efficient. Even with the few things that are "cons", it's still the best thing out there and deserves a 5/5 in every category.

Pros: Extremely user friendly. Can create documents (docs, sheets, slide presentations, drawings, etc.) straight from Google Drive. Easy to move, add, or rename documents. All connected to your Gmail account. G Suite users can have unlimited storage (with 5 users or more). Easily share documents or folders. Always being updated to be the latest and greatest. Great mobile apps for access anywhere. Collaborate and edit files at the same time. Very reliable. Autosaves everything seconds after any change is made. Offline features so that you can edit offline on your computer or mobile device. Automatic complete history of the file and all the changes that have been made (and by whom). Very good and detailed permissions when sharing files. Team Drive has even more detailed share permissions than My Drive. Can use Google Drive on your browser or your desktop (with Drive File Stream). Can add files or folders to multiple folders so that your folder full of pictures can be linked in 2 places (just select and hold shift and press "z") - this means that you don't need to have two copies, but just one that is linked to two places.

Cons: There are only a few, but if you're using Google Drive with your business G Suite, these are some weird issues. Cannot add files and folders within Team Drives. Cannot share folders that are in Team Drives with people outside of the group that already has access. You can only share individual files. You can share folders with anyone if you use My Drive though. Some offline features don't work as well with Team Drives.

I organize my entire life from private to personal using Google Drive. I'd be lost without it.

Pros: EVERYTHING. The fact that a software that is such a huge part of my life is free blows my mind ... I use it for literally everything. In fact, my company uses Dropbox, but I always work on and save documents into Google drive when they are in progress and just upload them to Dropbox once their done. I use it for personal life management - I have a spreadsheets for bills, logins, wish lists, contact info ... everything. When my friends plan trips, we shared a spreadsheet to figure out dates, who is bringing what, etc. I also have a ton of work info stored there - spreadsheets, documents, and presentations. I have my work portfolio, pictures and music. I used it for business school group presentations. It is absurdly easy to use, easy for collaboration, autosaves, can be easily organized with folders, can upload docs ... it is always there. I use it every single day and I don't know what I'll do if it ever goes away. When I say everything I mean literally everything. It's perfection in a software. It should not be changed, updated, upgraded ... anything. It's perfect.

Cons: I don't dislike a single thing about this software. I have no idea what I would do without it. It's my virtual cloud journal, record-holder, info storing ...everything.

Overall: LIFE ORGANIZATION! Work, personal, social, graduate school. It's like having the entire Microsoft product sweet, but without it being annoying and clunky, and being able to easily work with people in documents if there is collaboration required (including chat). I don't think that any other software does that!!!

Pros: Google Drive is one of the best cloud base storage out there that offers 15GB free storage that is if you have any account with Google, Google Drive comes with the part of Gmail account if users have it. What i like about Google Drive, easier to upload, store, edit, save documents, upload any file format, download option easy to use to save files any any device, or easily preview an file directly from Google Drive, and Google Drive app is available in almost any device these day, i can also immediately scan a document within Google Drive app and it shows me a preview of the file i scanned if it looks good i can save else i can re-scan and get a better picture of the document. For those who have Google Drive 15gb is enough to store files, and folders, but there is always the ability to add more storage that's if you are willing to pay for it of course. Moreover, Google Drive customer support isn't as readily available when you need it, but their online forum page you can post a question and you can get a reply from a Google Drive associate within a days or so.

Cons: Google Drive does not have the ability to lock down files automatically for particular users who are within a group that i create on Google Drive to share files.

Overall: One of the benefits if not more i get from using Google Drive, is the trust and security; as a user i am always relieved that my files and docs are stored securely on Google Drive with 2-step authentication i have the ability to add extra layers of security. Also, Google Drive is always readily available there is no down time, or i haven't had any issue upload file in Google Drive. I urge users out there to use Google Drive because it is secure, easy to use, available all the time, its free up to 15 GB storage, and so much to offer. I have been using Google Drive for almost 5+ years since it came out on the market in 2012.

Pros: Google Drive is a service of Google Company that allows us to store files in another place that is not in our hardware. It is an easy to use because it does not require a special configuration for its use. it is an alternative to send heavy files that can not be sent by mail in a normal way. This service is free at the beginning, when you have less than 15GB to put in your unit. Flexibility and diversity of uses are the main qualities of this Google service. I like the opportunity it offers to use these services to create a presentation and fill in online databases and share it.

has been a very useful tool in the work because it allows the simultaneous work of many people, allowing to reduce working time to be more efficient.

Cons: The mobile application does not work like the web version, its operation is cumbersome. Personally, I think that they should work on improving the presentation of the Google Drive tools to make it more visible and friendly. Working with formula is more difficult than working on an excel sheet. I consider that they should improve the mobile presentation to be used in any space that is necessary, adapting to the current work dynamics.

Overall: At work we constantly use google driver for the consolidation of information of the financed projects, special plans, collection of extraordinary information, monitoring and control of special plans, rapid data systematization, and simultaneous work. its usefulness has allowed the organization to reduce considerably the use of resources for the mobilization of personnel to other regional, payment of overtime, etc.

Google drive is an indispensable part of my personal and professional everyday life.

Pros: It's absolutely perfect. I use it everyday be it the drive itself or gmail. My whole work pieces and personal files are on it as it allows me to access them everywhere and anytime. It gives you a full 15 GB free storage. It's very very easy to use with very simple and practical design; not too much complexes or colors. It identifies the uploaded files types and allows you to preview them online if you don't plan to download them. It has multiple options for sharing and privacy.

And gmail doesn't just let you send and recieve mails, it's build to make your life easier; it notifies you if you write in the mail body for example "find attached" and you forgot to attach a file which saved me countless times before sending an empty mail.

It's very well integrated with almost all online platforms and websites that you can always just sign up with your gmail account anywhere and lets you upload files from your drive to any online platform.

The drive lets you upload any type of files you want even if it's not recognized by it or upload whole folders, it also has the availability to create folders to better organize your uploaded files.

It's quite fast either to upload files to it or download from it and preserves the files quality and size.

Cons: Because it has many options and features, like privacy and sharing options, i just get confused and forget where i can find each option as well as where the file properties are but with time you get used to it and you remember where to find each.

After you finish storing files in your 15 GB space you'll be required to pay to use more storage space, it's fair enough though in my opinion.

Some known file extensions are not recognized by it therefore it doesn't create a preview for these files and asks you to download them instead if you want to view them.

Pros: A fantastic product when it first came into being, Google Drive is the first go-to for a college student such as myself when uploading photos or documents to the cloud. The ability to share files with other users via a link with the added ability to set write privileges for the recipient makes it a wonderfully easy to understand as well as powerful tool. What I like most about Google Drive, however, is the Backup and Sync feature, which lets the user set up folders on his computer that are dynamically backed up to the drive and hence accessible from any device. Another great, yet similar feature is the ability to set up Google photos such that every picture one clicks on their phone is immediately backed up to the drive. Overall, Google drive is an amazing software that I would highly recommend, especially to fellow students such as myself.

Cons: There are a few drawbacks to Google drive. One is the limited amount of storage available for free users (15 GB gets used awfully fast when you take backups onto your drive ), but there is additional storage available if you are a student. Another bug that frequents drive, is that when you share access privileges to a file with another person, it sometimes doesn't work, and the person has to request access to the document again. This has more to do with the cookies on the browser than the Drive itself, but can still be quite frustrating at times.

Overall: Google Drive is an immensely useful software for professionals getting started with cloud storage, especially for students. The ability to dynamically sync files from your phone and computer makes this a must-have cloud utility for everyone.

Pros: To start with, Google Drive offers a free 15 GB plan. Google Drive is very easy to use. You can sync files/folders on your desktop or even access files remotely from the website app. Most Android phones come with Google Drive already build into the phone so it makes it more convenient to access.

Google Drive has beyond simple cloud storage, with its integrated Google Docs office suite. Google Docs is a browser-based and includes word processor (Docs), spreadsheet (Sheets) and presentation (Slides) software. The suite, which is free to use and works with Google Drive.

Within Google Docs, you can collaborate with others in near real-time with options like suggested edits and comment. You can also view revisions that others have made and rollback to previous file versions if you don't like something you see. File versioning is available for non-Docs files, too. Deleted files are also kept indefinitely, moved to the trash until you delete them there.

Cons: What I least like about Google Drive is related to it collaboration and sharing capabilities. For instance, if you share a folder with someone it's functionality is rather broad. You don't have specific links that only last a certain time or give the user limited time to access the file. I can be easy to lose track of the various links you've sent out and how has permission.

I wish they had a notification system like Dropbox does for collaboration. If you are working with a team and someone uploads a file you can set it to notify you when the file arrives. Where in Google Drive this doesn't happen. Unless I am unaware of a third party app that allows this to happen.

I also feel it could transfer files faster. It's not a problem with smaller files but larger files do take a long time!

Pros: 1. Easy to use: The layout is pretty intuitive. And you can create forms, spreadsheets, and documents right within Google Drive. It's easy to organize things, as you can create countless folders to organize things and restrict access to parties that are involved.

2. Easy to implement: Before I joined the team, our photography studio was storing everything on Dropbox. This is fine for all the image and video files that they needed to share with clients, but it didn't help the team work together in terms of marketing and organization. Now, we have spreadsheets with the year's calendar so that everyone can see which shoots are coming up to avoid double booking. We can easily access the contracts that we have signed, and even share them with the client. Paired with e-signatures, Google Drive is helping our studio become organized and paperless.

3. Easy to share: Implementing the Drive into our workflow was easy, as it didn't cost anything, and as long as you have an email address (doesn't have to be gmail), you can access your colleagues' work.

3. Lots of free space. Well, it's enough for a small business.

Cons: Minor things:

1. Once you have a lot of folders, it can be hard to find things, especially if the files are a bunch of photos with numbers as names. Even though there's a search button, there are instances where my keywords turned up negative.

2. It seems a little wonky on mobile still. I am operating on an android device, and when I try to upload photos onto the a folder I made (through Google Drive), it seems that you are only able to upload one photo at a time. When I try uploading through my galleries, I am able to select multiple, but when I click "share", there is no option to go into Google Drive to select the folder that I want to upload to.

Overall: Organization, efficient workflow, storage, collaboration

Personally and Professionally, one of my most favorite Google tools.

Pros: I like that I get 100GB of online cloud storage. Or, if you don't need that space, you already get 15 GB free! This means that all my files, photos, email, etc, is safely and securely stored in the cloud, and available to me anywhere I have an internet connection. Impressive collaboration with others, the ability to share folders or individual files with family, friends, co-workers, anyone that needs to know! The ability to create word documents, spreadsheets, presentations, or forms that will collect data into a spreadsheet for you all ONLINE without the purchase of any software is simply remarkable! I no longer use a traditional external hard drive to back up all my computer files, I simply have Google Drive installed on my computer, and everything is synched, so I can access that file I was working on at work from my house later that night if I need to without having to do anything at all other than saving the file!

Cons: I don't like that there isn't a simple version history option natively or the ability to add labels to files or the ability to add a workflow and approval process. It would also be great if there could be file notes that were visible when you click on or hover over the file without actually opening it. This would make it a lot easier for teams, say, working on writing blog articles for the company, to see the stage the document is in, know who needs to take a look at it next, or who it needs to go back to, so on and so forth.

Overall: All of my data is constantly synced, no matter where I make the change, it gets uploaded and is accessible within minutes from another device or online. If my computer were to suddenly explode tomorrow, all my data would still be on my Google Drive. It also gives me the ability to access all of my files on the go, from my phone, tablet, laptop, or any computer with an internet connection. Thanks to the online software it includes, I can even work on files online on a computer without any comparable software installed.

Pros: I love google drive; i have been using it for years! Google drive allows me to work remotely on documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and more! This really is a lifesaver for me because I work on several computers at a time and I can easily access any file I need quickly with google drive!

While I think there's some room for improvement on their word document app, I do find it a good starting point to begin the process of writing a draft to move into a more powerful word documenting application later.

I also really enjoyed doing a recent presentation with the slides application; i created my entire presentation and used youtube broadcast to share my presentation with my tribe.

If you're a business owner of any kind google drive is an absolute MUST!

Cons: There aren't many bad things I can say about google in general but here are a couple that kind of get to me with google drive.

I wish that we had more free space; I understand why we do not but I would like a little more free space because I use my google drive app for everything; pictures, word documents, presentations, spreadsheets.

I am also very upset that on their IOS mobile app they got rid of the passcode; please, PLEASE bring that back my entire life is on my google drive. If for some reason someone got into my phone that added layer of protection would ensure that they also didn't get into business files!

Also I'd like a little more functionality when it comes to their word processing application.

Overall: There are a million benefits to this software they are:

- freedom to access files from any computer with an internet connection.

- freedom to store any type of file (audio, video, picture, PDF, zip, etc).

- freedom to have access to those files using a phone (mobile application)

-ability to create word documents, power-point presentations, webpages, spreadsheets, drawings, etc.

Really if you're a business owner the google drive is A MUST!!!

Pros: Access and the fact that it is free is wonderful, however like most Google apps it is not a polished product.

Cons: The processes of uploading (automatically), deleting, scrolling, and downloading are tedious as they have to be done by checking each file. Deleting is done by batch but be careful because after you have checked many it takes a while to actually delete and you may get an error and have to redo it over and over. Downloading is ridiculous I have not found any other way to download a file other than one (1) at a time, which would take me literally days. Scrolling is through files is like looking at a dial up page. For those who do not know what a dial up is... imagine a line by line upload..... it is enough to make the most patient person impatient. Finally uploading is sporadic at best no consistency in Drive whatsoever. Like Dropbox there is no add-ons when it comes to sound so what you get is all you get. I am not sure how hard it is to add-on functionable services, but if your able to upload video and or sound files how about thinking just a bit farther and realize that sound is very intricate and different for everyone. Some people have hearing issues some people don't.... It is not rocket science, or maybe it is...

In closing, it seems to me that Google is an amazing company that is a MEGA innovator. I don't believe the internet and all of our media and access to everything on the internet would have happened without Google they have kept their promise of no ads to date. I would like to see GOOGLE finish an app, and I mean completely they have the staff and resources.

Overall: Daily benefits, it is just that one day to the next I am not sure what I am going to receive and how fast.

Pros: What I like the most about Google Drive is the storage space. Throughout the years there have been changes to what Google has offered in terms of Drive space. It has changed from separate from mail, to with, different sizes, the 15GB is still ample, especially when compared to other cloud storage that is available elsewhere for free. In terms of using Google Drive on its own, it is great for your storage and organization of Google Apps documents. You can search dynamically by file name or contents, and sort within your search results. The file structure is well organized with your folders on top for ease, and the sidebar makes it easy to organize unsorted files. For the more advanced users, the sync with the device is helpful to alleviate storage issues, especially in the Mac environment that I work in. The selective sync is especially valuable, although not as user-friendly for the more lay users.

Cons: One of the features I like the least about this piece of software is the syncing integration with your device. I work in the IT department, and we constantly are fielding issues with this due to "ease of use" issues. Oftentimes, the sync will sync all files, and there will be a lack of space. We have run into issues with two-way syncing and then the device itself is receiving double the file load from what is on the device and what is now being synced into Drive. Additionally, the constant name changes have caused a lot of issues, as well as hiding the selective sync. I think a wizard to help setup syncing would be helpful for the lay user. We can usually puzzle through issues, but oftentimes, especially for the double-up, we have to uninstall and then reinstall in order to fix the issue. We have also rin into a few times where the users thought that they were removing something from one area, and not the other (like remove from the device, keep on Drive), and end up trashing it in both places. Warning messages might be helpful for this.

Comments: Overall great product (and for the price, which is absolutely nothing, it's hard to beat!), I use it each and every day and it has certainly improved my productivity and the collaboration between our various locations. Also provided by one of the best-known names in technology, which is hard to argue with!

Pros: The gem of this suite is the constantly-live-updating feature, which is consistently saving each change made and can operate with multiple editors working in a single document at one time. We use the Sheets (the Google version of Microsoft Excel) as a reporting tool within our company to exchange and update information in real time, and it has made our operations smoother, our reporting more transparent, and our inboxes cleaner with the reduced need to email information back and forth! I also very much enjoy, within Sheets, the Explore feature that helps analyze data and process it into charts and tables without having to think about it, fantastic, very intuitive and ups productivity by that much more. And the can-access-from-anywhere is, of course, the other gem, being able to pick up and put down documents at any time from any place is wonderful.

Cons: The reliance on an internet connection is the one major flaw; if you loose connectivity, your changes cannot be uploaded (they save offline, pending upload until you regain connectivity), and you can only access the documents offline if they have been downloaded and it may not be the most recent revision of the document. Other than that, the only detractor is that it can't do every single thing that Microsoft Office can (which I suppose is only a detractor if you are a seasoned veteran with the Office suite and rely on its various obscure functions), but it does run several formulas and has definitely improved functionality over time, I expect more additions and upgrades in the future.

Comments: Google drive is a perfect place to save documents, images, and spreadsheets. It works perfectly for sharing things in both your work and personal life.

Pros: Google docs and sheets are great for use in a work setting. You can easily share documents with other team members on or off site allowing the right people access to edit, comment, or only view any of your documents. The integration options where Google Drive is set up as a folder on your computer to save to is a life saver. I save all of my documents to Google Drive so that I can access them from anywhere and any device. The app is great too! I love how the files are updating in real time so multiple people can work in the same documents at the same time. I like that you can save non-Google documents and images to Google Drive. For businesses - being able to take any folder or document and make someone else the owner is so ideal. This works perfectly for employees that leave the company or people who change positions and need to pass document ownership onward.

Cons: When you go to open certain docs from Google Drive, you are unable to open them in their original program because it has to be a program that is integrated in Drive. This is sometimes a big downer for opening things like PDFs. There is a workaround to open the PDF program first and open from Google Drive instead of trying to open from Drive directly. Some formatting issues when you save certain typed of documents - like Microsoft Word docs. Working offline rarely works. I typically lose all my my data.

Recommendations to other buyers: Start using it today. Sharing documents does not get easier than this.

Pros: For a couple of years now, I have been using Drive exclusively for sharing calendars and information with my team. The thing I like the best is that I can import information from one Google Drive sheet to another using a formula, which reduces my work by at least 50%. Also, it minimizes any chance of human error, as I only have to update one "mother" spreadsheet and I can have the information I input there duplicate in everyone's calendar so that they are always up to date. I love the autosave function too, which is why I rather work in Drive directly a lot of times than outside of it so that I can have my documents save automatically and sync between devices without doing anything. Lastly, finding documents of information within documents is very easy with Drive.

Cons: Apart from the obvious (that people can only use it if they have a Gmail account), I do have to watch my file size limit and I already had to upgrade once because I use it so often. I also think that pricing could be more convenient, but I guess that if I think about how many people are using the free version on my team without affecting my capability of sharing with them, it is fine. That's about it for the cons, I really find this a helpful tool and wish it could be used with other domains but I guess keeping it this way is what makes the most sense for Google.

Overall: I work in a wedding photography company, and all calendars are synced between team members using Drive. I also have used it for presentations, safekeeping of documents, and reports.

Pros: I've been a fan of Drive since it was first introduced. During this past year, Google introduced Backup and Sync. Drive has always been great in that it lets me take all of my Google files (Docs, Sheet, Slides) with me anywhere. Backup and Sync now allows me to backup my desktop files to my Drive app. Awesome! I like this so much that I discontinued my contract with a well-known backup service, even with a year left on my pre-paid subscription, to switch over to drive.

I did upgrade my storage but, it was probably not even necessary. I started to use a backup service for my WordPress site files (two sites) and one of the options was to backup automatically to Drive and it works flawlessly.

Cons: Drive is extremely stable. Backup and Sync is still a little ... it needs some minor work. At first my computer files appeared on my iOS apps and then it did not. It was a bug but it probably took months to correct.

I had difficulty with verification icons not appearing properly and it appears there was a conflict with OneDrive and Dropbox shortcuts on my desktop which also used sync verification symbols. I removed those shortcuts and Backup and Sync works fine, in that regard. Occasionally, I will have to quit and start again to activate them.

Now, Backup and Sync has created a temp folder on my desktop and I can delete it but a new one will appear whenever I open a file. Google is aware of this and is supposedly working on a fix.

Overall: ALL of my files and on any device!

Pros: Google Drive Offers me the ability to have all my data, documents and videos with me all the time. For a heavy pc user, it is very easy to sync all your data with the Google Backup and Sync tool directly to Google Drive. This way, I always have my files with me on the go, whether I need them in the university or at my friend. By using Google Drive, I never forgot a USB Drive and therewith any important data. The mobile applications for Android are also very reliable and work perfectly in combination with the Google Docs services. The ability to save files offline on my mobile devices makes it very convenient to access them wherever I am.

Additionally it is very very convenient to be able to share Google Drive files to friends or colleagues, personally I use this feature a lot!

Cons: As a hobby developer, I have experienced syncing problems with some very unusual file types. These sometimes only synchronise on my Windows pc after the second try and cannot be accessed or used on mobile devices. These problems couldn't be completely solved to this day, but I've found a couple of small hacks in order to make it work for me.

Overall: For me, Google Drive filled the gap of a reliable and easy to use cloud service which can be used on every device from everywhere in the world. The implementation of Google Drive to other web services and to Google ecosystem is gorgeous, you are able to share files to friends in a matter of seconds, connect Google Drive files to Google Calendar events or just use it as a cloud backup for your local files.

Pros: I do not know how much should I mention my affection towards Google products. Google Drive in particular. I am using Google G-suite business which has unlimited Drive storage for work files. Also, I bought 100GB of space for my personal account. I keep all of my files on Google Drive and one copy on my laptop with Sync tool. Google drive saved me so many problems that I did not even face and think of. It has a Backup tool now (NEW), which backs up my entire laptop (files on the desktop, documents, and every change). It has Team Drives for Teams members working together (do more research). It has overlooked feature called "previous versions" which means you do not have to replace the file and loose older one, instead you can keep couple versions under one name and file. You can always go back to previous versions. it has a mobile app which is very convenient and offers Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. It can replace file Storage server at your workplace if you have strong enough internet connection.

Cons: I can not really think of Cons at the moment. There is one downside though with Google Docs files. Whenever you create Google Docs file it stores the link on the computer. Not real document. So the file contains only the link, nothing more. If let's say your Google Drive is messed up or you lose the account you can not rely on the local copy. You have to use Goole Takeout as an alternative solution which is bit pain. Do more research.

Pros: I use Google Drive on a daily basis. I'm an instructional coach, and Google Drive is essential for helping us be successful in our field. It's a 21st century requirement in education - no other cloud platform compares. Here are the things I like best:

- It's cloud-based and constantly live. Teachers can collaborate without having to save numerous digital copies. Even if the internet is down, you can still view and work on files offline, and they will automatically update when a connection is reestablished.

- It's constantly being updated. Google seems to be on a mission of constantly improving the platform for users and it shows. It keeps getting better and better.

- It's user-friendly. I teach teachers how to use Drive, but really, anyone can pick up on it relatively quickly. It's easy to learn how to navigate, explore, create, share, etc. It just makes sense.

- It's simple and clean. Drive just does what you need it to do. There's not too much going on, they intentionally keep it simple and that's helpful/practical.

- The ability to search all of your files in moments is remarkable. The search feature is organized, quick, customizable, etc.

Cons: I honestly do not have any complaints to offer, but even if I did, I could submit those to Google and I bet they'd be available in the next year or so.

Overall: I use it to collaborate with colleagues and students. It's used on a daily basis and is a pivotal part of 21st-century education.

Pros: You are able to save important documents on the drive which can be accessed on any computer and multiple smart devices. You can also connect with others and share those documents and communicate through messages about them. It helps me with team based projects as the process becomes more organized and efficient. I really enjoy the generous storage size and how you can create additional drives if you solely want to dedicate one to a team for example. One of my favorite features is being able to see all the files (documents and spreadsheets) and being able to star them or place them in folders and color code those. I use that feature to highlight what document are most urgent to view or edit. There are many uses you can get out of Google Drive. I highly recommend it if you're looking to get organized and shift what you have on your computer to the Drive.

Cons: There is a limited amount of space that can be saved on the drive so if you're a heavy user this might not be for you. Additionally a user must have a Google account to access it to edit or even view a document in the Drive. I wish there was a feature where you could simply view the document from whatever email it was sent to (even statically for quick viewing) and I would understand why one would need to sign up to edit. Additionally there needs to be an easier way to allow users to make edits to documents online, I found that process tedious (through computer specifically, not phone app).

Pros: Google Drive is an excellent software in the cloud, I personally find it especially useful for work, because it allows me to share files as heavy documents and presentations with my co-workers. It offers you 15 GB of free memory just to create your account so it is completely accessible to everyone, and if necessary you can always buy a little extra memory. You can save any photo or video document from anywhere, I can even see them from your smart phone thanks to the mobile application. It is extremely versatile, so it is useful both for work and for personal use, it is also a software very easy to use and with all the features that a cloud might need.

Cons: Just as I said before, the software is very complete and therefore I find it somewhat complicated to find a defect, you could say that the mobile application is not as complete as the desktop, having some failures that should not be presented in its operation . Another aspect to take into account is the price again, because although they give you 15GB, you will have to buy more storage when you finish it. Finally, it can be highlighted that its customer service does not shine for its efficiency, although the latter is a problem that is often presented in other software.

Overall: I have used Google Drive for more than two years and I can say that it is really useful, easy to use and fast when saving a file, either for working with large files and important presentations, or for personal use with family photos, some personal file among others.

I am also able to share them with co-workers and family members quickly, from anywhere and safely.

Personally I have come to upload full folders full of documents, which I can organize and store correctly.

Pros: The UI is really sleek, simple, and intuitive and makes finding and moving files a breeze. The actual speed in which files are uploaded is incredibly quick as well, I compare it to OneDrive and have found Google Drive to be much quicker when downloading/uploading files across multiple stations.

It is also very easy to organize, and I really like that they implemented the drag and drop option for files, making their Drive website client really easy to use.

Also, really easy to set up drive on your computer and access files offline!

Cons: The actual presentation on the web client page does feel a little cluttered with teh default display. I use a lot of folders though, and if I were to be more organized with setting them up you can definitely cut down on this issue.

I feel like there have been times where an upload has taken a little longer to go through when accessing from a different device than the one uploading, but this has honestly been really rare, and not a significant delay.

Overall: As a student I was able to keep all of my semester's work in one place which I ahd previously been using OneDrive for, but found the benefits of Google Drive to be more useful for my needs, such as upload speed across multiple devices.

I also use it so I can easily transfer movies that I have purchased onto my table so I can download it on there and watch offline if I am away from wireless/mobile networks which happens often for me. It is really easy to transfer .mp3, .mkv, etc... files and that is something I do quite often so ican access them across multiple devices.

Pros: Google Drive makes cloud storage easy, showcasing a simple, yet robust interface designed. Google Drive also integrates seamlessly into Googles other applications (such as Google Docs, Google Photos, Google Forms, etc) allowing users to save their Google Apps progress directly to their Drive from the app, or access their documents from Deive, immediately opening up in its respective Google App.

Cons: Limited Shared Storage. For free (personal) accounts, users are limited to 15GB of cloud storage. If part of Googles Non Profit program, this increases to a free 30GB per user. This storage is shared amongst all Google Apps (including GMail). If you are a power user, this fills up fast. Additional storage is available at a cost per user.

Overall: I utilize Google Drive as an instructor in my vocational education classroom (teaching high school Juniors and Seniors with a Google for Education site). I also use Google Drive as part of an Audio / Visual team for a local religious non-profit organization. In both worlds, I cannot imagine a world without the collaboration tools Google packs into Google Drive, and the Google Suite overall. In class, we utilize Google Drive for all aspects of classroom assignments (student access to materials, completing worksheets, submitting to instructors). Students have the ability to access all class notes, lectures, and materials from any device with web access. This has made life easier on students (no "what did we do while I was out" questions). It also makes life easier on myself and other instructors in terms of grading, providing feedback (via comments), and an archive of all completed work as it is completed.

Pros: Google drive is completely free and easy to use with a simple user interface.

Google drive is the best tool to handle and store information and data for any project in most companies.

It is easy to create slides, presentation, sheets and edit them.

All the members of a team can easily access and edit the data required for a project work from Google drive.

It has its own search engine which allows one to search by file type or a keyword.

The image recognition technology in Google drive can actually recognize the content of your pictures.

One can easily open and edit any kind of document like doc, jpg, pdf, spreadsheets in Google drive

One can easily share any type of files, images, videos with friends and family members.

I do share large files with my friends easily with the help of Google drive.

People do back up their important files and documents on a Google drive.

Now I can also use files in Drive offline by using Google Drive extension for chrome browser. Using this extension it is easy to read and edit files in Drive offline.

Cons: Organizing files and documents are bit confusing in Google drive.

Changes made by others is difficult to find.

Overall: The primary benefit of this tool is that I can save all my important and necessary files in it. I find this tool extremely easy to use. We share all the data and files of our projects in Google Drive. I can save any type of file in a Google Drive and can easily share it with my team members and friends.

I use Google drive for personal and business use. Works fantastic!

Pros: What I like most are: its compatibility and price. It works so well with any average file, Google products, collaboration, etc. The price for the storage is very reasonable and I forget about the payment. I used it a ton for class while I was in school, personal projects, and now I use it for my business. I have 80% of all my files stored in Google Drive, and they are segmented to be accessed by different users. It is one of the products that I use every day and I rely on it. If Google Drive went down, I'd have a snow day.

Cons: There are only a couple criticisms of Google Drive. One thing I struggle with is file management and viewing. I think that the layout of how the files are stored is not always the easiest on the eyes. You have the two options: List view and grid view. Each have their pro's and cons, but they're both not great. The grid view can make it hard to find exactly what file you need because it cut's off the words, but the list view it's great because it loses the larger visual view that Grid gets you. I feel like Google would be able to introduce a whole new method to file management that makes it easy to find what you need quick, while keeping things organized. Lastly, sometime's I have issues with the file sharing permissions, and managing ownership of a file. It is difficult or sometiems impossible to change who the owner of a document is. I have only encountered this maybe a couple times, but when I did it was a pain.

Pros: Google Drive is a fantastic storage system for users that link their documents, images, videos, and presentations through Google's system. Throughout college, I saved the majority of my class projects on Google Drive because I knew they would always be there, regardless of what happened to my devices. Regardless of what system you are using for a computer, Google Drive quickly stores all your work in an easy-to-access home page where you can access your photos, documents, chats, presentations, spreadsheets, folders from your computer with a variety of file types, and movies with 15 GB of free memory.

I use a non-Windows laptop and have always found the uploading process to be just as quick and easy as using any other Windows computer.

Also, when using the app on your smartphone, you can also access and edit documents with ease. The plus is that if you only need to store one or two movies on the drive, you can access them anywhere on your phone.

Cons: My only complaint is that the data storage above 15GB costs high. But the cost of storing 1TB of data per year is approximately the cost of a portable USB storage device with the same memory.

Overall: I have been able to store countless files for free that would have perished with my last laptop. Google Drive provides peace of mind in knowing that my documents are safe and easy to access. Furthermore, the integration with other Google applications makes this software a fantastic option for collaborating on group/work projects.

The perfect place to store files online and have other tools all in one place.

Pros: -Google drive has a certain amount of free space to get your started.

-It has an app, which allows your computer files to be available on a phone too.

-You can upload files in their original format OR you can convert them to the Google version (Ex: from .doc to a Google Doc file)

-The rest of Google suite is built as part of drive (Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, etc.)

-There are lots of sharing file options that allow you to share file/folders with certain people, fully public, or only with a link

-Centralizes office files in one place and serves as a back-up. Allows file sharing and working remotely on the same files (Even when I am not on a work computer)

Cons: -I think when people are getting first started, the sharing option is the hardest to understand. I've introduced many co-workers to the platform and they pick most of it up intuitively, but they have a hard time figuring out how to share files correctly without training.

-There is some confidence that Google is safely holding the files, but still, there is fear that Google can see them or they could be hacked. This is true with any computer hooked to the internet, but it is just that hovering feeling that comes with online storage, right? I have had no experience of a compromised file or even heard of one for that matter.

Overall: Easily allows us to share office files online and gives me an opportunity to access office files anywhere without having to have my work computer.

Pros: 1/ 15GB free cloud space is one of the best things about google drive as compared to 5GB given by Microsoft

2/ Ability to let you view and make changes online and save instantly is amazing and makes my life so easier as I travel a lot with minimum documentations saved on my Mac book.

3/ Sharing your documents with another user is also very easy and your documents are secured as no one can access them without your authorization.

4/ Users like me who use to deal in emails only for sharing files etc always had troubles sharing heavy files / attachments through email but sharing heavy files is such a peace of mind these days since the time I have started using G drive.

5/ One of the best things about it is that you can see the changes what the other has made or is currently making which makes ur life easier because you know where you had stopped and saved.

Cons: 1/ approximately 2 GB or more space is used by the back ups of the apps like whats app, emails, contacts etc

2/ Unlike other drives G Drive doesn't allow you to work on your desktop offline you always have to work through a browser only.

3/ File transfers and syncing is slower in G drive as compared to Microsoft drive or Drop BOX

4/ Hope they give more free storage and reduces there monthly charges.

Overall: Overall if your a team of more than 2 users working on a same project which requires you all to see, edit and share files all of you are working on than G Drive is ur life saver you will definitely save a lot of time and use that hours somewhere else.

The application is smooth, user friendly and the interface is very simple as well.

Enjoy !

Pros: - Sync is real time and get updated very easily and fast

- it create your virtual machine on cloud so access to documents is like it is on your own computer

- one can choose which file or folder she/he want to sync, only that file get synced

- if person delete any file or folder from computer, drive will ask a whether he want to delete it permanently or want to restore from drive.

- if there is a low internet connectivity and if some item remain un-synced, then whenever connection gets established drive will automatically sync that remaining item.

- google is providing 15gb of data free of cost, then charges will apply, so this is great advantage for small users.

- one can access data and files from anywhere and any time without facing any difficulties only thing needed is internet connection.

Cons: - Main issue with cloud software is data privacy, user is providing data to cloud service provider but there are the chances of leakage and misuse of important data. This is the main reason why not more people are relying on cloud based software.

- To access cloud software internet is must, without internet connectivity one can not access data even if person is having all other facilities available with him,

- In developing countries there are many areas where internet access is not possible, in such locations this kind of software becomes redundant.

Pros: I am never a fan of flash drives because they are too small, and since I am always on the go and sometimes tends to accidentally forget to get back the things I put down in a desk. I remember a time that I went back to the coffee shop because I forgot to put my flash drive back to my pocket or laptop bag. When I went there, the barista told me that they didn't see any flash drive so aside from losing the flash drive, I also lost my work files, and even the presentation I've been doing for a couple of days already. My laptop memory back then is not that huge, so I forgot to save a backup file in my laptop.

With GoogleDrive, that worry is resolved! I no longer need to bring a flash drive when I need to save work files. I can save in numerous ways. First, I can install the desktop application of GoogleDrive so it is easy to click and drag or copy or paste without the worry of the files eating my laptop space.

Cons: I hope they can make the plan cost lesser so that it will help more mid-class workers like me.

Overall: I am always in debt to Google Drive. I started using this when I was still studying, and being someone without income, I am subscribed to the 15 GB free. Now that I have a means to earn monies, I am currently using the 100 GB plan, and it is just ample for all the work files I need to save. The good thing there is that I don't need to delete my old files, and I have even retained the files and excel templates I've used even from the past company.

I use Google drive to store all of my company files and to run my business.

Pros: If you do not currently use Google Drive to manage your company files for your small to medium sized business, you are missing out. Google Drive works by essentially allowing you to have a desktop with folders that you can very easily access from any computer or our smart phone. That means, if you are in line at the bank, and they need a piece of information that would normally be at home on your "desktop", you can access the files directly from your smart phone through the Google Drive app. I can literally fun my entire company from my smart phone. Also, if you need to scan in documents or receipts and quickly convert them to pdf, there is a function on the mobile app that lets you take a picture, convert it to crystal, and I mean crystal clear, pdf and add it directly to Drive. It literally takes seconds. I am able to scan in 20 receipts in a few minutes and file them in drive for any potential audit later. I can snap a picture of a Bill of Lading and have a clear pdf that is better looking than my desktop scanner - Great Job Google! Drive is also a great place to keep all your backup files. I store my Quickbooks backup directly in a file on Drive and then I can "share" the file with my accountant, who can access the file make any necessary changes and then "share" it back to me. Before this, my accountant would require me to put my file on a zip drive and come into the office! I can't imagine running my business without Drive.

Cons: If you want to copy a bunch of file names to duplicate in a different folder, you can't. You have to recreate each folder one by one.

Overall: Allows me to stay organized and access my files from anywhere.

Pros: It is free, and it is another backup where I can place files for later access. I use an Android phone so Drive is very easily accessible on my phone, and I love that I can access all my Drive files on my phone as well. It is great that the software allows conversion from one file type to another - so I can create a new Google Doc in Drive but then download it as a Word or PDF file (similar for spreadsheets/presentations), this is really useful.

Cons: The thing I like least is that, although I have Google Drive installed on my desktop computer, I cannot get it to automatically download copies of the files to my computer. This would be very useful as a local backup - for instance in the rare event where someone got access to my Drive in the cloud and was able to change or delete files there, I would at least have my local copy on my desktop (at least temporarily), and maybe could use that as a backup. Google Drive on my desktop will not automatically download the files to my desktop however, I have browsed help topics and seen others post about this issue, and Google takes a long time sometimes to get around to solving issues - they seem to solve big issues pretty quickly but some issues, like this one, can take years for them to get around to addressing. This causes me some concern, and wants me to not want to use Drive as my main backup for files.

Overall: Overall a good experience using Drive.

Pros: Google Drive is a great app to use, simply for storage of basic needed files. The basic premise is great! Upload your files to Google Drive, and you can access them from anywhere you have an internet connection. With a developer account with Google, more of Google Drive's inner workings can be accessed via scripting, harnessing more potential out of the app, moving in to Cloud Platform WebApp performance scaling.

Cons: The software works well; there's not much to complain about, as far as what's offered. The API access to Google Drive is a bit advanced for the layperson, that's basically where I find myself. If I had better scripting and coding skills, I'd probably be much more productive with this app, but it's a learning process.

Overall: I'm currently developing a Blogger custom domain through Google's offerings of web services, which features Blogger as one of the options. Given that Blogger, Googoe search, and Google Ads marketing platforms are all part and parcel of the hosted service, I'm pretty happy with it, and as far as Google Drive goes in the process, I'm looking to host some Google Fonts, or perhaps Unicode stuff, to make it load faster. I'm really trying to get in to the meaty developer API modules and kits that would allow me to use Drive as ad hoc accessible side-loading page cache kit support for my web development aims. Aside from that, Google Drive has been my faithful Go To web storage solution, simply on account of it being so closely related to Gmail, plus it's free storage of at least 15 GB. It's a great offering, with room to expand.

Pros: Google makes it abundantly easy to start to use this software, and makes it just as easy to integrate it into every device and platform imaginable- and they all work seamlessly together. You want to share a photos from the family reunion with everybody- whether or not they have a Google account? You can do that. Want to set up a private folder for sending your attorney legal documents? You can do that too. Want to host your e-book that's listed on your website for visitors to download for free? You can do that too. I use Google Drive on a nearly daily basis to accomplish everything above and more. I store things long-term, short-term, and sometimes I just use it to transfer something to someone else- without storing anything. It's powerful, it's simple, and it's intuitive, because it's Google.

Cons: Perhaps the only setback with this software is that you cannot upload folders. Meaning, if you wanted to upload 3 folders from your PC or Mac titled "wedding portraits," "wedding formalities," and "reception photos," you would have to create those 3 folders first on Google Drive, then OPEN the folder on your PC/Mac, open the same folder on Drive, and upload all of the photos, repeating the process for the additional folders. You can't simply upload the folders with their files intact, which can be a bit annoying if you're uploading a lot of pre-organized files.

Pros: There are so many things to talk about! I just love this software... First, it is safe, and fast. It provide the private file function can allow me to submit my films to different companies for a job application or for film festivals. It allows to upload a big file which is such a mercy for the users like me...

Second, it's convenient for exchange files and easy to use. When you hang out with your friends or a group of friends, it is the best and easiest way to share group photos! Everyone can have the access to it and it's private in some level.

Third, benefit the remote workers. Because of the easy use of the google drive, I can submit my works to my professor or my boss without loosing the image quality. I am benefit so much from this function and that is why I can work at home with my pajama! It is fast and it never goes wrong. I enjoy this product a ton!!

Cons: Can't be used in China. I understand this is not a product problem. This product is perfect. But yeah, I find it's hard when I to share something with people in China. If they can access the Drive, it's super slow for some reason. And I completely understand it's not a product problem.

Overall: I saved a tons of time to paste and copy from one device to another. It can me shared safely as long as the file is protected. And i can have the access to a big file anytime anywhere with my goole account. It made my whole life easier!

Pros: Just simple, install it set folders inside so you save and storage all your important file in i and forget about it, they are backed up, on cloud and also in other PCs you install Google Drive too. you can access your files on any device you have google drive installed, and also on any other computer with web browser after you authenticate yourself. Also works of curse with mobile devices, just there are not copies of your data in the mobile devise but you can access it from it and download few files to offline access. if you loose your PC or HDD just install google drive on new installation authenticate and you will get all your fill in that new PC again. Photos! let me tell you about photos. ll your family pictures are save on it too, also you can use google photos app on your phone so every picture you take or receive in yout phone is also backed up forever. you can choose full resolution and use space or high resolution and will take no space so will be inlimited on photos.

Cons: A little confuse when share files or are share to you about whose space is used, not able to insta;; more than one stance of google drive for different accounts at same time in PC but you can in mobile devices. as all free services on google minimal support and sometimes more support is need it.

Pros: What I like most about this software is the fact that I can put EVERYTHING I need as a student on this drive and be able to share it with anyone that I might need to share it with. Whether its documents with teachers, videos with classmates, or even pictures with family, google drive is a one stop shop. Google drive allows for organization by creating folders for anything you would like to organize and gives a very accessible "Quick Access" which pulls your most used documents to the top. As a student this is a must need all in one data storing system.

Cons: My one downfall is that there are a lot of very cool tips and tricks you can use that are hard to find unless you do research and digging watching tutorial videos on youtube or other sites. For an example, the use of OCR. Google drive allows you to take files such as PDF and covert/open them into google docs and take the needed information and edit what you need from a PDF. As a student knowing some of these valuable tools could be very resourceful but in order to learn them I had to do some real digging.

Overall: My experience with google drive has been fabulous. As a student it truly is a one stop shop. From files, to movies, to music and pictures, you can put everything on the drive. In order to get the full use of google drive you do have to find some outside tutorial videos, but overall it is 100% worth the time and effort and will make your school/work/home life much more efficient.

Pros: I have been using Google drive since before I worked in the professional world, interrupted only by a brief trial period of DropBox (never again) and it is by far the easiest and simplest tool to use for file storage and sharing. What I love about it is that there are different ways to use it: personal use, and business use, and you can separate larger folders so that only certain teams within your business can have access to certain things. The way that it is organized is very helpful and keeps everything tidy. I also love that when you re-upload updated documents, Google automatically gets rid of the old copy (unless you select to keep both) so that you don't have to have lots of random extra copies of everything as you update projects and files.

Cons: There have been 2 occasions in 10 years that I have not been able to access my files due to Google Drive servers going down; one of those was right before a final presentation for my graduating class, and I have to say I am still not over the trauma of that moment. However I am thankful that all of my irreplaceable files and projects were recovered and were not lost forever. In my opinion, a platform as big as Google should not have those moments at all, as many people rely on their services (which I pay for, since I need more space) and should definitely have a backup plan in those cases.

Comments: I would recommend more businesses leave Outlook and go to Gmail and use the google drive!

Pros: Since not all of our employees are in 1 building, the google drive makes it so easy to share files and documents. The fact that you can download the document into excel you can save it into any type of file you need (Tab, CSV, Ect.) it makes it easier than emailing them and getting limited by size restrictions. I like the fact that you can send videos and other types of files as well and access them anywhere and you can give certain people access to edit the document if needed. Our managers can even download the app on their phone and view the needed files if they are out in the field. When we were on Outlook, we didn't have any of these options so this has been a great change for us.

Cons: I wish that you could change the owner of a file, for example if an employee is no longer working at your company there is no way to change the owner without creating a whole new document. It would be nice if you could customize the background and colors like you can do in Gmail, but it isn't that big of a deal. I also wish the program would prompt people to download it as the correct file type before they print it. Or print it exactly like the original version would have. Its also a con that people can access it from anywhere in certain instances, but that isn't that big of a deal

Pros: * I can cut any type of document

* it is not necessary to have a computer to use it

* allows me to have more free space on my cell or computer

* it synchronizes with my mail and devices

* I can share my documents with other people

Cons: * the use of the internet is mandatory

*the collaborators have access to delete your documents

* you have to have a good password to protect the user

*people can see all the pages you use

Overall: google drive is a super useful application, free, easy to access, that organizes different types of documents and photos according to places, dates, which helps even more for your organization.

as a doctor I can save the photos of my patients in the cloud to observe the advances they have made during the treatment, without having to collapse my phone or computer, besides being able to share this information with other colleagues who are also taking the case of said patient, as well as part of the clinical history .

Personally I can also save and share different photos of social events with my friends without having to send the photos to each person, only placing him as a collaborator will also have easy access.

I have been damaged on several occasions the cell phone and the computer for which I have lost important information, but thanks to that I have the google drive application I have been able to restore the lost data, it is a support that reassures me, because that although something is erased, I will have the way to recover it.

I think the best part is that I can enjoy so many benefits in a free way, so I always use and recommend this application without any doubt

Pros: I love how updates to files created in Google Drive are shown in real time and really improve the collaboration process. I previously worked for a company where the majority of the people I worked with (including my manager) worked from home or from an office hundreds of miles away. I could use the applications within Google Drive during a conference call where everyone could see what I was typing and add their own notes/input. There's even a name attached to every edit or section of text in the document that allows you to see who wrote/edited what. You would think that all of the features would make the interface look junky, but a lot of it is hidden until you click or hover over something so, your work space is still very clean.

Cons: It was very hard to come up with a con, but I went to my Google Drive account to get my brain going. The only thing I can think of is that I wish files that you receive from someone else were divided by the sender. When I click to view files that were shared with me, they all come up: files from co-workers, files from school projects, and personal files from friends and family like vacation photos. I wish these were all separated by sender so that I don't have to sort through photos of a trip to Paris and school presentations to find a document that my co-worker may have shared with me months ago.

Pros: I absolutely adore the collaborative nature of drive docs and the version history control. I also love the suggested edits mode that allow me to edit directly but provide clear insight to original contributors about the revisions that need to be implemented to enhance the next iteration of a file/document. I also love that Drive integrates so seamlessly with basically every other software I'm using- Basecamp, Hubspot, Asana etc. It's a no brainer and as someone who came from an MS Office Suite world prior to a G Suite world, the ease of use afforded by using Google Docs and Google Sheets and Google Slides is exponentially greater. When I'm sent files in MS Office format I instantly get tense and convert to a Google Drive file, which, is another awesome benefit- the simplistic way to open a non-G Drive file and convert/store it as a Drive file in Drive.

Cons: The WORST thing ever about drive is that I can't search or sort files by the person who owns the files or by the person who shared the file with me. I can't figure out why that's not an included feature, but I can confidently say that if it was, my collective team could have saved dozens of hours spent searching for files over the last several years.

Overall: Super enhanced collaboration across my agency as well as across clients and improved file organization with a super customizable file structure.

Comments: You really can't go wrong with Google Drive. Whether you're like me and using it actively for your work, or are just using it as a cloud-based backup system for your hard drive, it's a great, free software.

Pros: What's not to love? You can easily save, organize, edit, and share documents right from one place. Since my nonprofit's team works remotely, this is a life-saver for us, as it gives us one centralized place to find all the documents we need for our organization. I was also recently reminded just how great it is that Google Drive saves all the changes that are made to a document by you or others, and gives you the ability to revert that document to any previous state, even months later! This is a huge advantage over the Microsoft Office suite, in which any changes you've made to a document are discarded once you close out of the program, leaving you with only the version of the document that was saved when you exited.

Cons: There really aren't many. The one thing I find myself wanting, though, is the ability to preview a document from within Google Drive, without having to open it in its separate program (Google Doc, Google Sheets, etc.). Right now, the only file types I've found that you can preview within Google Drive itself are PDF's or JPGs. This is definitely a function I've gotten used to as a Mac user, and I would love to see it be integrated into Google Drive soon.

Pros: Ever since I switched from different services to Google Drive, the way I used my laptop completely changed for the better. What had once been a cluttered desktop filled with files everywhere became a pristine desktop. Google Drive contributed to this newfound organization.

I collaborate with my peers on a lot of projects, and Google Drive makes it easy for me to share my documents with others, as well as view others' documents. I love that Google Drive comes with a free 15GB of storage, which, in my experience, has been more than plenty. Being able to have all of my documents, photos, videos, and other media on one platform has made my life much easier.

Cons: There aren't many cons to Google Drive. The only "con" (and this isn't really a true con) I can think of off the top of my head is that whenever I upload a video to Google Drive, it automatically hosts it onto a 3rd party site, which takes some extra time to process the video, even after it finishes uploading.

Overall: I was able to save my cluttered desktop, changing it into a beautiful, pristine desktop. Also, all of my files became organized for the first time in my life, making everything easy to find. Overall, my efficiency in working has improved, due to how much time I was able to cut down on searching for certain files. Also, collaborating on files became much easier because of Google Drive. Overall, Google Drive is one of the best services I've used in my life.

Pros: with Google Drive you can count on a secure way to backup your information without the risk of having it inside hardware that can be damaged or lost

I love the service for windows where it creates a folder in which I put my files and upload automatically to the cloud, I use it to create backups of my most important files.

You can also configure a folder of public access, as well as the perfect solution for those very large files to be attached in an email, with google drive you can upload them in the cloud and set up a link to share it

you can install it on different platforms, android and windows for example, ie on your pc, your laptop, your tablet and your phone and set up to back up your photos, videos and files in all of them, being able to access them when required

Cons: There are few contras that can be said about this google service, because the price is even one of the most compromising in the market, but nevertheless if you have to take into account that the google services and applications that use this service do said data is accessible from mobile devices, so you must make sure that these have a good access code and configure a way to delete the configuration if you lose it or it is stolen so that no one can access this data

Overall: I work with clients that require a daily backup of their databases, so I configure that this backup is done in the Google Drive folder and in this way they are uploaded to the cloud immediately, if the server is damages, burns, or is stolen data will be backed up in the cloud in complete safety

Pros: Here is a great cloud storage platform introduced by Google to keep all your documents, files, and all other media storage which my consume a large space on your HDD and may let your system work slow. Google as usual has provided a great place to sync and backup all important files and folders on their cloud storage space with the features as up to 10-15 GB of free uploading space. Since we can creat our own account in here so we can take control of all our activities, and we also get notifications regarding any suspicious activities if there are any. We can backup any kind of documents like excel files, spreadsheets, media (songs & videos) like wise and that is also of no cost. Every Google drive activity is highly secured and encrypted with high end secured services to make sure the data is safe and no malpractices are performed by the hackers or such. As it is available on the open market easily and no joining fees or charges are there. And it is supported by all of the major OS's.

Cons: As it is a free storage software on the market, sometimes we we may have to face trouble fetching documents or to share with the other parties due to heavy data traffic. However all in all its a great product.

Overall: One more quality innovation from Google to support mankind to achieve new technological heights and to simplifying life.

Pros: I used to use Dropbox all the time for document sharing and could storage purposes, but when Google Drive was released it quickly became my go-to software. It's so widely used that almost everyone I know has access to it. You don't have to fuss with signing up for new accounts or downloading another software in order to share things with people... all you need is a Google email address. Even better, it is a FREE option! It also has seamless integration with other free Google products, such as Docs or Sheet, so that you can easily accomplish a number of tasks without having to go elsewhere. You can access it from anywhere, so it's a simple place to keep files that you may need to carry with you or access on-the-go. This has come in handy many times!

Cons: I haven't really found any negatives about this software yet. It functions just as I need it to! Though, I'm not always too comfortable with having Google (or any other 3rd party) storing my documents for me as I feel like there could be a number of security issues with this. But, for what I use it for, this isn't really a concern! One thing that I do find a little frustrating, occasionally, is that I have to remember to use the "offline sync" fuction on each device for any files that I may need to access on-the-go. There have been a few times that I thought I would have wifi access, and didn't, therefore not being able to access the files that I needed. You can only use the "offline sync" feature while you are connected to the internet, if you want to access the files offline later on.

Overall: This is a simple and free cloud storage and sharing platform that I can access from anywhere. It's great for sharing large documents and accessing files on-to-go.

Pros: Everyday Google surprises us! Google Drive is an easy implementation tool for cloud file hosting and sharing for any size organization. As easy as having a gmail account, downloading the app to your pc or mobile device and start sharing files with co-workers, clients or publicly on the web. Grant viewing and editing permissions with a couple of mouse clicks and start enjoying the potential of their word processing, data sheet and presentation apps, all with their starting FREE plan.

Cons: Understanding how all Google apps work side by side can take some time, after that you're set to fly and be more productive. Seriously.

Overall: We've been looking for implementing cloud file sharing and editing for our organization for a while now; but we first needed to accept the following facts: 1) rejection of implementing mainly from people that have never used cloud services or that already use a cloud service other but costs are steep, 2) implementing editing and viewing permissions for workers or groups, 3) image hosting and sharing, 4) all in one solution.

With Google Drive we got all these aspects covered. Since many or the co-workers all ready had a Gmail account, many of those already had installed or played around with Google Drive, this fact made things easier. When setting viewing and editing permissions throughout the organization was very simple, and this makes working faster than before. Google Drive can work seemlessly with Google Photos, so you can upload images with Google's compression rate for unlimitless cloud hosting unlike other services; just setup the folder that you want to sync, and that's all. With 15 free GB per account, plus Google Sheets, Docs and Presentation you have a great package all in one.

Pros: Google Drive is, by far, the easiest file storage and sharing system that I've used in a workspace. It allows me and my team to easily access documents, videos, and files from home and work, both on computers and on our phones. It's easy to use, the storage feels limitless, and it's incredibly easy to navigate the system.

This is a much cleaner, faster and easier way than using some combination of SAN and VPN to access work files when you're not at work.

Cons: If you are a weak digital organizer, like me, you are going to absolutely hate searching for files in the infinite abyss of your drive. I am absolutely terrible and remembering the purpose of folders I've created, and I'll frequently dump files in places they don't belong. While Google provides a search function for drive, you have to really remember the title or content of your file -- otherwise, it won't quickly pull up what you're looking for. People say you're only as strong as your weakest link, and in the case of Google Drive, you're only as strong as your inherent digital organization.

Overall: Overall, Drive is essential to the function of our business. It allows workers to telecommute with ease. It allows us to collaborate on projects easily. However, it. is easy to let your G Drive become disorganized -- so users should be very purposeful on how they sort their files. It's incredibly difficult to clean up a file mess once it's been created.

Pros: It is my go to backup and restore option and when I am resetting my devices I don't have to worry about loosing anything as they are in Google Drive which is a very reliable cloud backup solution. I like being able to never stress over files I deleted or emails and forgot to attach the file because I know my documents are always there and I can quickly pull up anything I need to forward to colleagues and friends. I use it for my daily use, it facilitates the saving and sharing of files, photos, videos etc. It has made my life easier.

Cons: For me hte limited space and picture files save at a reduced size in Google Photos, so I have to save in my Drive if I need high quality copies. The fact that the cloud files and documents are available to the provider for access if they should need to access yous stuff. Not much to dislike outside of this.

Overall: The benefits outway any concerns I may have as it is my go to backup and restore option and when I am resetting my devices I dont have to worry about loosing anything as they are in Google Drive which is a very reliabe cloud backup solution. Pros: Google Drive is just what I need for storing files in the cloud. Their security is better than other options, so I'm confident my files aren't going to be broadcast all over the internet for people to see.

I like how simple it is to use. I don't have to go through fifteen steps to upload a file or folder. I select the upload command and navigate to the data I want to save. The sync application makes sure everything within a given area remains up to date in the cloud, while giving me a local copy to access.

I sometimes need to share files and folders with clients. Again, they keep it simple giving me the option to send them a share link directly from Google Drive or copy and paste the link into an email or messenger of my choosing.

Their plan options are more affordable than some of the competition and they offer more free storage than others.

Cons: While it is simple to use, sometimes I use the Docs feature to create a new document. It saves to Google Drive automatically (Which I like) but I can't have it save to a certain file in the Drive. I have to finish editing, close the document and then move it.

I may be missing the feature that allows me to direct where in Drive I want it to go. However, if I'm not just overlooking it, I would love to be able to do that. Right now, I have a bunch of random documents in the Drive that I need to sort through and move to folders so that I can find what I'm looking for later.

Overall: I use Google Drive as an off-site storage location for different articles and stories that I work on as a writer. It is not the only cloud storage solution I use, but it is one that I use frequently for clients that I need to share items with rather than upload information through a CMS.

Pros: There are 2 great features about Google Drive that are the reason I will never stop using it. My favorite part about this software is the automatic saving feature. This has saved my butt (no pun intended) multiple times when I accidentally closed some projects without manually saving and realized that Google had saved my progress for me. It is a fantastic default feature that every other program should have.

I also love that any project file that you begin (like a sheets, slides, or docs file) gets automatically saved to Drive. Similarly, being able to save downloads from anywhere on the web directly to Drive is really helpful and very convenient. Overall, it is an absolute improvement over thumb drives since it can be linked across multiple computers, tablets, phones, etc. Especially cool is the fact that you can set your phone up to save pictures you take directly to Google Drive and bypass your phone's storage.

Cons: One thing I don't like about Google Drive is the fact that I can't use it for most of my work. I am a scientist and any data that I collect is the property of the university that I work for. The university is extremely protective of this data and will not allow me to use Google drive to transport it because it is not encrypted to their liking. I hope one day google can allow for this free version of their storage to be used by universities for data transfer.

Overall: I mainly use google drive as a tool to help make presentations for classes that I teach and conferences that I attend. Being able to access and edit presentations and worksheets for class on the go is really useful. Not to mention being able to share files that I find helpful to my students with just a quick hyperlink in an e-mail.

Pros: The thing i like most about google drive is that it's easily accessible and userfriendly. Google drive is one of the most important softwares that i have used as in both my studies and my business work.

In studies, it has been helpeful for me in saving all my assignment work so that it could be accessible easily. Also, when dong group work, i have used google drive to save and share documents by making a folder with giving access only for the group members i was working with.

Since I am a photographer, Google drive has been very helpful for me in uploading the pictures of the events i cover and to send it to the relevant client without wasting time by going to meet them again to deliver the pictures. Also, it has saved my money in buying DVDs or using Pen Drives to deliver the pictures to all my clients.

Cons: Onething that i like least about Google drive is that its lack of memory. They give only 15GB free and the other amount we have to purchase and also something that i have encountered is that even when you delete data stored in the drive sometimes it doesn't show that accurate details of the memory available.

Another thing I like least about using Google drive is that its time to upload the documents. When the internet is slow it takes time to upload and documents (Well, this would not be exactly a fault of the software).

Overall: Google drive has benifited for my business as to reduce the cost by been able to upload files and to share it with my clients without been have to meet them again. Also, its security features of the ability to give access only to a relevant person to edit or to downlioad has been of great help.

I recommend Google drive to anyone as I am sure that it will benifit them in many ways.

Pros: Useful storage tool. I use it both on my computer and on my mobile phone. Thanks to Drive, I can easily synchronize file across all my devices and access to them at any time. It allows saving space on the mobile phone and computer avoiding at the same time the use of external memory. All my files are stored on my clever Drive's cloud and follow me everywhere!

Another useful feature of Drive is the possibility to share my files in real time with anyone through a link or through an email invitation. Doing that I can easily transfer important documents to my colleagues, checking their reviews and comments in real time. It speeds up the process of sharing, editing and approving internal files increasing our productivity.

Cons: It is a cloud service to store files that will be always accessible. You only need an Internet connection to start using it through your Google account. Then, by logging into your account you will get access to your files everywhere, on every device.

It is mainly free: Drive offers 15gb of storage for free. If you do not need a larger amount of memory, the free version surely fits your needs.

It facilitates file sharing: you can share all your files with anyone. The files might be shared through a specific shareable link or by an email invitation. You can decide who has access to your files setting the privacy options you prefer.

You can organize your files into folders and easily search them through the search field placed at the top of the page.

You can work on your Google files together with other people at the same time.

Docs are automatically saved and you can check the version history at any time.

Overall: If you do not have particular demands you will not find relevant cons in using Google Drive. Sometimes it could be a little bit tricky to sort or find shared files inside the different sections. it's just a matter of habit.

Pros: Having a Mac, you would think I would use iCloud for my cloud storage needs, but that is not the case!

Google Drive is everything I wish iCloud was - easy to use, easy to invite others to share, browser-based, and very well priced.

I can create folders for projects that I am collaborating on and share those folders, keeping us all on the same page with the same files and information.

Cons: Sometimes waiting for a file to zip up can take awhile if you are trying to download a lot of content at once.

I've canceled the zipping process before because it seems like it's not working, but it is. This is just a little confusion sometimes.

But honestly, I can't remember a time that Google Drive has made me mad while using it. I don't remember it crashing or corrupting my files, or dropping uploads / downloads. I know it's not helpful, but for me, there are no cons to using Google Drive.

Overall: Google Drive keeps my remote team organized and working with the correct files on any project I have. The integration of Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, etc. makes it easy to stay organized for any of those documents as well.

Upload and download speeds are really good, and only my internet connection gets in the way. I used the free tier for a long time and then decided to make it my only cloud service, and now I use it to keep my local files safe with a cloud backup. The small price I pay every month is more than worth the security.

Pros: If I had to pick between Google Drive and Dropbox I would have to pick Google Drive. That could be because I have always been an android user and it has always worked flawless on all my phones. Once logged in it stores your data in the cloud. Every time I got a new phone all i had to do was to log on to Google Drive and all my files were updated back to my new device . I have found pics stored on drive that I didnt even know I still had because it has been automatically backing up files since i had my first smart phone. I have used them both Dropbox is good still but I think google drive is just as easy and convenient to use. Plus you now get like a ton of free storage and if you need more you just pay for it like anything else.

Cons: IF your getting a new phone and you back up a really large amount of data off your old phone at one time it takes a long time, I would do it in sections it would be a lot quicker. There are no more negative things or additions I could think of with this program. I love it. It does works quicker on every device I have it installed on except my cell phone its a bit slower backing up.

Overall: I think Google Drive is one of the better cloud based storage programs out there and you get a ton of free storage space even on the free version. Makes life and keeping track of data a whole lot easier.

Pros: The add-on's and third party integrations are numerous and the cloud based structure with ease of sharing and granular security is truly intuitive and more functional than any other file security interface I have worked with. You can organize and share, with edit, view only, and comment options. Additionally you can restrict editors from printing or sharing, and you can easily see who has access and change or revoke it with a few clicks. And just in case something is changed in error the star of the show has to be the VERSION HISTORY. In the upper central part of the application (like Sheets or Docs) you will see when the last edit was made, if you click that link you will be directed to the version history, this little gem of a feature allows you to view all the previous versions of the document. You can also revert the document to any of these previous versions. This feature has saved my sanity more than once.

Cons: There is not a singular option to revoke security access from all and delete a document at the same time. Instead to truly delete an item in drive you must revoke all sharing and then delete.

Overall: Sharing within the company and without in one single platform. Living files that are instantly updated across the organization. Version history which is automatic and fool-proof.

Pros: The files are easy to share between accounts, which makes collaborating very simple. It is also great to be able to access my unit in many ways, through the web, the device or as a synchronized folder on my computer. If I need to go back and see what changes I have made or another colleague, I can and can reverse if there was an error in the document or for some reason in reality. This has really been useful, you can add a password to the files so that, even if you share the file with someone, you will need a password to view or edit. You can also assign specific permissions to documents so that people can see only or completely edit documents and files.

I like it to be constantly updated and backed up, so I do not have to worry about backing up my computer.

Cons: The only thing I do not like has to do with the Google Drive application that I downloaded to my iPhone. If I upload several things at once in my Google Drive app, it usually freezes and rarely completes the upload. This can be extremely frustrating, since I have to start from the beginning and find out where Google Drive left when loading and what needs to be reloaded on my disk.

Overall: The Google Drive website has been excellent and easy to use. I have it configured to automatically synchronize with my computer. In this way, all my files are automatically uploaded to my Google Drive account. This saves me a lot of time since I do not have to come and go to upload a file every time I have one that needs to be stored in the unit.

Pros: It's ridiculously easy to use it for a back up of your photo catalog on your phone. Easy to use for file sharing among a work team. Available across platforms and devices so you can back up and see files from numerous locations. We use it to share recordings from weekend sessions with band and production team members. Everybody has instant access to the music files and can listen to them from the cloud without downloading using any device. It's pretty handy for that.

Cons: The time to load pictures makes it almost unusable. For example. I went to France recently and all my photos are backed up on google drive. I wanted to show my family some pictures this weekend and got my ipad out. I waited for a few minutes for pictures to load and they never showed up (4G verizon network). I gave up and didn't get to share any pictures. I've had a similar experience with the iPad on wifi, so I don't think it's the connection. That's not the first time that's happened either. It seems to be systemic and something that I'd really like to see improved. Using a desktop is not as horrid as the iPad, but in my opinion, it shouldn't matter THAT much - to the point that it makes it unusable.

Overall: I'm able to share files instantly with numerous team members without having to send an email and clogging up mailbox space.

Pros: 1. It is free of cost up to 15 GB storage that in itself a big deal as compared to other vendor in this segment. After that you can increase your storage up to 30 TB with associated price that is absolutely fair.

2. Fairly simple interface to use, same look and feel like other Google product that we use in regular basis.

3. Seamless integration with Google other product like Google Doc, Google Sheet and Google Slides and all.

4. It provide Backup and Sync feature that is another great advantage.

5. Nice search box that has lot of customization features like from where to find the file from location, type, owner to date modifies that really comes handy to search the data fast. You won't find it useful if you have less storage but imagine in case of storage in TB.

6. Files are accessible through every device from anywhere absolutely needless to mention.

Cons: 1.Free Storage i.e. 15 GB is shared between Gmail, Google Photos and Gmail.

2. Sometimes takes long to upload a small file may be it is my internet speed but I have observed it.

Overall: Storing and accessing the data from anywhere and from every device this was challenging thing that is handled by Google easily without any compromise to services.

Sharing the files with teammates, friends and family is very easy by making a shared link.

Pros: What I love most about google drive is that it is so easily accessible and has all my documents, files, and pictures in one place. I first used Google Drive when I ran out of space using Dropbox. I was not a fan of dropbox and someone told me about Google Drive so I decided to check it out. In a matter of less than minute, I already knew how to access everything and didn't need to read up on how to use it or research anything. I love that I can have all my files in a private space but can choose to share files very easily, without having to send something as an attachment and exceeding my size limit. Everything is easily organized in my drive and it saves me tons of time trying to locate my files as there is a "recently added" section at the top.

Cons: I haven't found anything I don't like about Google Drive to date, and I honestly use it every single day. Google knew what they were doing when they made this software. It's user friendly, free, and linked to your gmail account.

Overall: I put all my documents in Google Drive. It is such an assurance to me to know that even if I don't have my laptop on me, I can still access my files and send them to my boss or clients easily from my phone. I work remotely and don't have my computer on me often, so this is a huge selling point that I can access my files just by simply having wifi.

Comments: As a business, we have enjoyed our time with Google Drive. It has a great price point for the sheer amount of features and power the system comes with and it has saved us a lot of time and headache by not having to maintain physical servers any longer. Moving to the cloud was definitely a good decision with Drive.

Pros: We decommissioned all of our physical servers a couple of years ago and moved everything to the cloud via Google Drive. We could not be happy with the transition and subsequent reliance on Drive for all of our storage needs. The interface is highly intuitive and user-friendly, which creates efficient time management for our team, and we love that Drive links directly with Google Docs and Sheets so shared files can be accessed simultaneously by multiple people in a single online area. We have grown to rely on Drive and have yet to encounter any significant issues with it; even syncing it with our Synology NAS platform for an additional layer of backup was relatively pain free. We've also been dabbling with Team Drives and have found them to be a very useful tool for collaboration within different departments. The Drive phone app is also handy and works well.

Cons: Though Google has a massive self-help database, it can take a bit of time to get an actual person to reply to any customer service inquiries via the chat interface. Outages with Drive are quite rare, though they can be tough to deal with when they do occur since all documents will basically go offline.

Pros: Google Drive is made available to us via the suite of Google products that our company has subscribed to. I think we have the 'unlimited' subscription plan, which is great!

I back up all my digital files on an extra hard drive and another copy using an online storage. From my experience, Google is the most reliable online storage out there. I've used a small-time storage subscription, but unfortunately, that company has folded up and so I was forced to download everything again and re-backup using another platform (well, Google Drive next).

Google Drive integrates best with its other products, first Google Search is powerful to search through all your Drive files. Google Docs/Sheets/Slides is well streamlined for use as well.

Another thing I love is the fact that when I use my Gmail, I can save attachments directly to my Google Drive without having to download and upload it. Plus the Share function works great for collaborative work. You can limit access to certain people (read, write), and work together on shared folders.

Cons: Nothing really. I'm very happy with my experience with Google Drive.

Overall: Google is a very big and reliable company. I'm almost certain it will survive for decades to come, and so will my files. It is reliable, easy to use, and feature-rich.

Pros: It is intuitive. You can use it on any device optimally.

You can work different document formats (word, excel, power point, videos, pdf, photos). The best that Drive offers is the opportunity to work as a team without having to move to a specific space, achieving greater efficiency and effectiveness in projects.

Also that it serves to order your projects and documents by folder. In addition to offering tools to share with people who have the option to suggest, correct and see every change made in a document, giving at the same time the opportunity to control what can be done by the person or group with whom it is shared.

The options that it gives in the creation of documents work very similar to working with office.

Allows to share the documents with a link.

Cons: The cell phone application is very heavy and has few options that help expand storage. If the document has several editors or collaborators could be eliminated by one of them. You must have an internet connection

Overall: I have optimized my work and minimize the time of feedback in corrections and approval of proposals, since it allows collaborators to have access at any time. It has helped me organize my documents and have the facility to share them with other project partners. It allows me to save space on my personal computer because everything is in the cloud.

Pros: I really like how Google products connect with each other and everything is managed under one account. And Google Drive is one of them. It makes it super easy to share files with other team members and clients when needed, and it is perfect for recovering different versions if a file changed or deleted accidentally.

Cons: I am a designer and I work on multiple projects daily with different versions. Since they updated the Google Drive widget (I am on MAC OS) the tool started having many issues. First, it syncs all files to drive and removes them from my computer so if I need them I have to wait for the system to re-download. There is a feature to work "offline" which is useful but this needs to be done each time when I create a new folder in the system which is extremely annoying. Second, If you are like me and save your work every few minutes to be sure your changes are safe! It is not the case anymore. It has some syncing problems and I realized sometimes it even deletes the folders. So not that useful at this hand. To eliminate this I started saving files out of Google Drive and only upload them to the system when I am done with production. And when it comes to support, they are not that good at it.

Overall: It used to be one of the best in the market and hopefully, they will fix the issues sooner than later.

Google Drive is something every single person on this planet should use.

Pros: The simplicity!

You don't need a masters to use Google drive. Unlike other cloud storage services, Google Drive is extremely simple to use. You just drag and drop your files and that's it. You don't need any software to install.

Trust of Google.

With the trust of Google, you don't have to worry about your data anymore. You don't need to worry about the server issues. You just don't need to think about anything because Google will worry about your data. It's the most secure and safe cloud storage facility.

Fast transfer rate.

There is no capping for data transfer. You get 100% data speed with respect to your ISP. Google also works with many ISP to cache the data so you even get speeds in giga bits for downloading through Google servers.

Cloud Scanner is amazing!

If someone send you a file that is hosted on Google Drive, you don't need to worry about the infected files. The files are scanned after upload and before download for viruses.

Cons: Google needs to improve their direct linking ability for the files. Currently, users have to go through lot of tricks to generate a direct download link to a file. There should be an option for that.

Overall: Google drive saved me a lot of money and hardware cost. All my life's work is safe with Google and my account.

Pros: Since implementing Google Drive my school district has dramatically cut down on wasted time and extra software. We migrated to a google based email service a few years ago when we implemented google classroom. When we did that we started sharing lesson plans, worksheets, sign up sheets, polls and everything else via google drive. It is such a time saver to tell a teacher in another part of the building to check her Google Drive for the document rather than separately email her or send her a hard copy on paper. This has been a great solution for us in the elementary school. We share everything via Google Drive, bus duty schedules, schedule changes, lesson plans, tests, worksheets, faculty dinner sign ups.

Cons: I can honestly not think of anything that is a bad attribute to this software. If I HAD to think of one thing, sometimes the google drive will not refresh as quickly as one drive did and show documents in there, but that is really pushing me to be nitpicky.

Overall: Like I said we are saving so much time (and paper). Instead of separately emailing staff members we are able to share documents quickly and efficiently throughout the building, or even district. We have also used this google drive to upload documents and photos to use when developing our website. They link right up easily using google sites.

Excellent file management software, allowing team collaboration and remote access.

Pros: Our office uses the software to store various interdepartmental documents. It allows one Department to view reports and/or documents generated by another Department, and also allows for group editing of those documents so that each Department can provide input. It is easy to use and very intuitive, a vast knowledge base is not required to get started. The program allows us to easily share content with specific individuals or groups and can restrict editing functions if a "read-only" situation is warranted. Probably the best feature of the program is the ability to access documents remotely. This means I can upload only the documents I think I'll need for a project meeting and should the event arise where I need to read or edit one of those documents I can do so in the middle of the meeting from my phone or laptop.

Cons: Storage is based on your Gmail account including photos and email, with 15GB provided for free, a large chunk of data can get used by photos and email if you don't keep an eye on how many files you upload. However Google does offer additional storage for a reasonable fee. Our office has never needed to add more storage as we pay careful attention to what is being stored on the drive and remove unnecessary files.

Pros: Once again, another great program designed by the folks at Google! In an age where storage space is so important, Google Drive has become an vital player in file storage. The absolute best thing about this program is the fact that I can access anything I store on Google Drive from literally anywhere in the world using any of my devices. I cannot count the number of times I have forgotten to bring a flash drive to work with me and because I always back-up my files using Google Drive, I never have to worry about forgetting a file again. The program is so extremely easy to use that a six year old could use it. And yes, I am serious! My son, a first grader in grammar school, has the ability to use his own Drive to store his classwork. Its that easy!

Cons: The only thing I do not like about this program is that once you run out of your free space, the cost can be considerable when paying for more depending upon your storage needs. Other than that, not much else to say about issues with this software!

Overall: Ultimately, the greatest benefit to Google Drive is the extra space it provides to back up any important files to an easily accessible space in the Cloud. If you are like me and have personal and business information that you want to keep safe and easily accessible, this is the place for you!

Pros: Google Drive is well integrated with the Google eco-system. You can save files directly from your Gmail and share large files via Google Drive through Gmail. The best part is, that it is all in the cloud and although you do get the option of having a dedicated desktop and mobile app to make your files available offline, you can access your files from any computer anywhere in the world!

Cons: Google Sync (now called Backup and Sync from Google) - Google's app to Sync your files with Google Drive can get a little buggy sometimes. If you don't have an internet connection and haven't synced your files to be available offline, you're out of luck. While Google does provide 15GB of Free Storage Data - this is shared between Google Drive, Google Photos and Gmail and you can run out of storage fairly quickly if you are a heavy user.

Overall: I use Google Drive as my company's file management system. All computers in my company are synced with Google Drive, so any information saved on any system is instantly available anywhere across the globe. We no more need to send internal emails with attachments! Effectiveness went through the roof the day we started using Google Drive. Initially we used the Free Storage that was available, however, we soon ran out of storage and purchased 100GB of storage space which is more than adequate for our needs. I cannot imagine life without Google Drive.

Pros: As far as I am concerned, with this app. It is no doubt excellent tool frequently use for cloud storage. Powerful tool creating sharing and editing numerous documents. we can upload files in various formats with the help of google drive. In short google drive fulfills most of the collaboration purposes. I like the way it sync my data automatically and synchronizing is very fast. I love all of the features and functions it has. It has been a safe platform for business our personal data.

Cons: It has been a long time with Google Drive. I have a good experience with this application. Least things are really less about Google Drive services, but I would like to share actual things according to my experience. Google Drive goes excellently for the most of the times, but sometimes becomes buggy. I know it is a secure platform which protects our data quite efficiently but me afraid of the virus. I keep my too much important data in google drive storage in order to have a record. It will be great if Google drive add some more new security functions which also can stand against the virus.

Overall: It gives us simplest ways of sharing files among others on the safe platform. Overall it is a great opportunity that we have. It fulfills all of the requirements of every field and provides best services.
