Pros What I like most about Google Drive is how easy it is to organize, access, and share files. Pros The thing I like most about Google Drive, is the capability of sharing live documents with my team members. We are able to share Excel spreadsheets and each team member can update information across the board in real time and save any updates or changes in data. Google drive is very user friendly. For the amount of storage and functionality included, I also think it provides very good value for money. I have rarely needed customer support because the service has generally been stable. Uploading, moving and sharing documents takes very little effort, and the folder structure is simple enough to manage even when the number of files grows. Collaboration is also excellent because I can share files with specific permissions and work together without sending different versions back and forth. Cons The only con I have with Google drive is that often times files like excel for example are saved on the drive as Google sheets files and get duplicated. So you end up with two files and don't know which one you worked on. One of the biggest reasons is that it helped me support my wife while she was preparing for her Physiotherapy Competency Exam after we moved to Canada. She used to upload all of her study notes, presentations, and important documents to Google Drive. Since I had access to the files, I could easily open them from my workplace and print whatever she needed. This saved us a lot of time because I had access to a printer at work while she often didn't. My wife is an excellent physiotherapist, but she isn't very tech-savvy. Whenever she had trouble finding a file or needed something edited or printed, I could quickly access it through Google Drive from wherever I was. I love using it for drafting and editing policies and contracts live with collaborators. When looking for previous employee agreements or internal notices, its search function will help to save time.
