I choose Google Drive over any other platform 99% of the time. Pros I love that I can access all of my documents and spreadsheets from any device, including my phone. Cons The only con I have is that google sheets isn't as robust as I'd like. I can store all my file, share internally and externally, and easily preview files of many different types. We can also connect to other apps so files can be used seamlessly across our product stategy. Pros It's our central file storage solution. We can easily share files with the company, and everything is backed up. The UI is great to use, and there is multiple ways to access files (app, desktop, website), which means I can always find what I need wherever I am. Cons The only thing I don't like is the suggested files, they don't seem that accurate to what I'd like to view. Opening at the 'My drive' or 'Recents' on the homepage would be more useful for me, or the option to change the homepage. Review Source KK Khiana K. Our technicians no longer need to call the office with as many questions as the commonly asked questions are now answered in the shared Google Drive! Pros I love that you can create folders to easily organize your files! It's also helpful that you can choose who to invite to view or collaborate on a file. It's easy to navigate. Cons Each folder is assigned a theme. The image never suits the folder and there are limited options to choose from to change this theme. Cons Sometimes the upload speed is slow, especially when the internet connection is weak. Also the free storage fills up quickly and I need to buy extra space to store more files. Cons Storage quotas need to be monitored with big video files, and permissions management across multiple drives and external partners gets convoluted without planning and regular naming conventions. Pros Google Drive's HIPAA secure option provides an easy to use document management and data storage option that's excellent value for the money. As a therapist in solo private practice this allows me to securely save diagnostic templates, patient letters, my own schedule, my financial tracking, and so much more. I'm able to easily edit text and collaboration is simple if you work with others. I've never needed to contact their customer support but I'm sure it is as high quality as their product it! It makes sharing documents simple and easy to manage. Organising across folders, powerful search functionality and excellent integrations with Gmail, Slack etc. Pros Easy to keep everything in sync across multiple devices and platforms. Of course, search is a key strength. The various views (Home, Recent, Shared with Me etc.) are especially useful. Cons Sharing can occasionally be a little confusing - have had instances where people can't access the files they've been shared. Quick search for Google meet element, Recotding and notes. Cons File organisation is not allways easy. 15 GB Space is ok but each one shoild take care not to upload allthings in to Google Drive. Sharing files for the entire office is simple. Even sharing with people outside is relatively simple (as long as you have their Gmail). Security to keep people out of sensitive files is simple. Pros What I like most? I suppose it is the fact that it is available everywhere. I needed a document for my bank once and was able to pull it up on my phone, print to PDF, and email to the bank. That's pretty standard these days but still my favorite. Cons Least - I am not a big fan of the way Word and Excel documents are setup. I understand why they do not convert them but sometimes they are clunky in the ability to edit the files.
