Can we a little quirky at times, but overall a solid collaboration tool. Pros Very easy to use and share content with other employees within our company. integrates with other Google tools and 3rd party tools as well. Cons Google Drive can sometimes be restrictive and does not always work well with sending content to people outside of your organization. I also have been administering Drive in Google Workspace since 2013. Pros I really like how easy it is to backup and collaborate data with Google Drive. The program you install on your computer to upload files works well. Also, it can stream the files in Drive to your local machine so you can use your Finder to easily navigate Drive files. Cons I can't think of much I don't like about Google Drive. I like how it is integrated into Google products. It's a critical function of the business. Pros Great way to keep everything organized and safe, especially across remote teams. Huge improvement from Microsoft. Cons Doesnt feel as native as the Microsoft system, but there are workarounds that make this better. I think the AI / Gemini touch is getting better, too. Right now, it's not as useful or intuitive. Pros What i like the most is that GDrive is easy to access from pc and phone, also to share. The real time collab is also a great tool and allows me to work with my team at any given time. Cons There are times that the file sorting can get a little messy, especially when working with shared folders. The storage space fills up fast if I'm working with big files. Pros what I liked most about google drive is being able to save everything in one safe place that I can access from all my devices or from anywhere I can access the internet. Cons It was a bit confusing to start. I could not find some documents and then some were duplicated. I have worked these issues out. Pros The collaboration option is what we need to have and enable two or more managers to edit the daily shift reports and housekeeping schedules at the same time in real-time. Cons It is easy to disorganize files within a short time when employees fail to adhere to a rigid nomenclature system. The search facility is at times too much and irrelevant and old files and thus difficult to locate the latest version of a given document. Cons I think that it could be a little more user friendly on heavier implementations such as file share. I have had a great time working with Google Drive and my experience has been magnificent. Pros I like the new AI function Gemini that brings intelligence making it much easier to work on files. Google Drive also supports files collaboration which i always find useful when i need to work with my partners on a single file. I have always been confident with Google Drive file protection features as they have proved to be reliable in keeping my files safe. It also offers an optical character recognition feature that makes it easy to extract texts from the saved images. Cons I have been able to solve my files storage needs effectively with Google Drive. Pros What we like most is how easy Google Drive makes it to share, organize, and access files from anywhere. In construction, we’re constantly working between the office, job sites, and home, and Drive makes that seamless. The real-time collaboration is huge for us — payroll spreadsheets and documents can be updated instantly without worrying about version control. It also integrates extremely well with Gmail and other Google tools, which keeps everything centralized and simple. Cons If I had to pick a downside, it would be occasional sync delays when dealing with very large files or when field crews have spotty internet connections. While this is often more related to connectivity than Drive itself, it can sometimes cause brief confusion if files haven’t fully synced yet. That said, these situations are relatively rare. Cons I don't like that suggestions comes up first, instead of just the overall drive. Pros I really love how you can create documents, spreadsheets, and slideshows from their built in office product suite. Additionally, I love how you upload your own files of any type such as images, videos, and text files. Finally, I love the options they provide for sharing files with others. You can share with specific people using their email addresses or turn on link sharing to share with anyone via a link. Cons I think Google Drive could improve their way of sharing documents and files with users that don't have a Google account or their organization does not use Google Workspace and uses Office 365 instead. If link sharing is not turned on, sometimes Google Drive thinks you have insufficient permissions if the email the owner entered isn't a Google account. I often recommend this product to colleagues, family and friends. Pros So easy to use. I can upload videos and photos from my phone. I don't automatically back up my photos because I take so many so I prefer to edit what photos I am keeping and just save those to my google drive. I can also edit my videos before saving them. I use folders so its easy to find the photos or videos I need once saved. I can access my google account from any device I log in to.
