Pros: Full Contact is suppose to work seamlessly with GMAIL to capture signatures. It doesn't. I have to constantly tweak the program to get it to work with GMAIL. I've had it for a year, the last time it actually captured an email signature was 10 months ago.

Cons: Forget about trying to use Outlook Exchange Account with this. It does not capture anything from Outlook and there is no work-around. Because it only captures GMAIL signatures AFTER you reply, you cannot use Rules to forward your Exchange account to GMAIL to try to capture email addresses that way. Complete waste of money.

Pros: - Finds missing contact data online
- Extremely easy to use
- Simply the best barebones contact data manager

Cons: - No advanced functionality
- Literally ONLY manages barebones contact data, nothing else like a more full-featured CRM

Overall: If all you need is a barebones contact data manager, this is THE best.

Cons: They do not communicate the various tiers properly. The basic free version on their website says 10 free card scans. They don¿t specify if that¿s for one time or for life. Also they term it as a basic plan not as a trial! So I started using it and suddenly it said That I had maxed out the scans but doesn¿t say for how long. Then I contacted customer service and it turns out I maxed them out forever. So now the only way to use the app is to pay. Terrible communication. They say there is a `basic¿ plan but that¿s essentially a trial. If I had known I would never have used it.

Pros: This is my new favorite app for organizing contacts and segmenting email lists. It is also the only app I have used that will transcribe business cards with 100% accuracy (they use humans to enter info from pictures of cards rather than software, like most other apps). The "merge contact" feature is great and allows you to review the contacts being merged before doing so automatically. It also integrates with Google accounts, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Yahoo. Another great feature is the ability to export data in a file, which you can then upload to your regular CRM software or to Constant Contact.

Cons: One downside is that it could allow for more business cards uploads per month -- 50 is not enough. It should also automatically sync business accounts when individual accounts are updates. Additionally, more tips and resources on how to develop a good contact list would be nice. I also have to say that customer service is a bit slow.

Overall: It imports data found on the internet (such as social media profile URLs, web addresses, etc.) to your contact database. It also uses humans to import data from your business cards using a snapshot (and does so accurately).

The data available is incredible.

Pros: It was very easy to integrate this into our app and the data it produced was very accurate and up to date. A lot of times on other platforms the data is old, not on Full Contact.

Cons: The price. There is a free platform, but if you really want to use it fully you have to at least buy the per month package. And higher packages were too expensive for us.

Overall: The data is very usable and reliable. Plus it is up to date.

Comments: Ambiguous marketing terminology. I saw the full contact crew at Collision Conference 2017, but didn't know it was a true syncing contact manager with humans adding the information.

Pros: Fully syncing contact manager that scans in business cards. The business cards are read by humans and entered in manually, thereby reducing errors. Free iOS app and it pulls information about contacts from 30 different places on the web and autoadds it to your contacts. Fully viewable twitter feed in app.

Pros: I love how when I meet someone at an event or trade show, I can take a picture of their business card, tag it, makes notes from our conversation. I don't have time to type their information into my CRM, so this is a big time saver.

Cons: I wish Nimble(my CRM) had their API integrated into their platform. Not FullContact's fault, it's just the way Nimble chooses to go.

Overall: Saves time. Improves my follow up. Tracks my conversations through their notes feature.

Pros: I'm using API for enrich leads in my CRM with addtitional info. API is well documented and I haven't problems to use it. This solution usable both for finding people contact info and for get extra info about companies.

Cons: Very often I get no data by people emails which I requested through API from FullContact, but I can find extra info about requested people using another methods and services. Therefore, there is still something to improve.

Overall: I got a lot extra info about people and companies I'm interesting by using this service through the API.

Vendor Response

by FullContact on June 09, 2017

Thanks for the positive review! We are constantly working to improve our match rate in order to improve overall customer experience. Since we only return data with a 95% or higher confidence level in it's accuracy, some inputs, such as social handles, return greater matches than others.

Comments: I started using FullContact as I was struggling to get my contacts updated and consistent from one account to the other (when you have 8+ email accounts and different devices, it becomes quickly a problem to synchronize everything). It solves this problem but it could do so much better! The good thing is that the team seems to be working hard on it and I see interesting feature updates on a regular basis.

Pros: The editable contact info that appears in the sidebar of Google Mail. The editable contact info that appears in the sidebar of Google Mail.

Cons: Automatically merging duplicates that I don't want merging. Changes in Google Contacts were not synced to FullContact, so were reverted when FullContact synced with Google Contacts. Thanks for wasting so much of my time fixing these things.

Pros: It's free which is great but I found it hard to use and ultimately stopped using the product.

Cons: Clunky and hard to use with my mac. Sync'd contacts as duplicates and also made it hard to easily categorize.

Overall: I am still on the hunt for a contact management platform that works easily with my Mac. Full contact was clunky and hard to use, downloading duplicates and overall not a great fit for my work.

Recommendations to other buyers: Simplify the interface to make it easier to use.

Pros: ¿ Native apps for most desktop OS and mobile OS
¿ easy to use and synchronizes effortlessly

Cons: ¿ More CRM functionality would be great

Overall: FullContact is definitely one of the best contact management apps out there. Especially since it has native apps for any desktop OS and mobile OS. I use it on macOS and iOS and from my 5+ years of use, I can assure you you don't need to look further.

Recommendations to other buyers: Add as many networks as you can.

Pros: Easy to use and removes transcription errors and the time needed to correct them.

Cons: Some of the integration features are not there yet, but I think they will be soon.

Overall: Full contact is an amazing product that allows you to not only collect all your contacts in one place, but they hand transcribe your business cards reducing the scanning errors of other software. It is a great entry level CRM that is great for business owners that like to make notes about contacts, but do not need to have a record of every email or phone call.

Recommendations to other buyers: I put all my clients on this system that network and want automated follow up. The integration with zappier is great and allows so many great things to happen.

Comments: Very useful app, rich of connections, and integration for example with marketing automation software. Need to be improved for example in desktop app. It has a lot of functions: desktop app, web service, mobile app...

Pros: Great app to filter, tag and import your contact.

Cons: Desktop app is not so cool.....

Recommendations to other buyers: Need improving but maybe one of the best....

Comments: Been using FullContact now for about 4 months. I looked for years for a reliable way to automatically get Business Cards into my Google Calendar. All of the OCR solutions create more work then they are worth. FullContact reviews any troublesome OCR responses by hand to make corrections. So you can take the photo and be confident the information with make it into your calendar. I didn't think I would use FullContact for anything else but I now use both the mobile app and www as my contact app over google contacts. I still sync everything with Google contacts but I interact almost exclusively with FullContact.

The only feature I miss from Google Contacts is the ability to email every contact within a Tag.

Comments: We used FullContact to create a contact list of prospective clients. These details were entered manually over the course of a few weeks, and many hours. When I needed access to our Full Contact list from my personal laptop, I logged into our account and it automatically synced my personal Google & iCloud contacts as well as personal bank details from my laptop without permission. This diluted our business list and gave my employees access to personal and sensitive information. Thinking there must be a way to un-sync the lists, we contacted FullContact and they offered useless advice - and did not have ability correct their error. We have had to delete the list and we will never use FullContact again.

Pros: There are no pros. This is a total waste of time and is dangerous to your database.

Cons: FullContact should not sync anything without permission. Synced accounts should be able to be deleted completely as needed, and contacts should be flagged by synced account. Clients should have control over their contact list, which FullContact currently does not allow.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would avoid this software at all costs. It has wasted time, energy and money for my business and has been detrimental to our sales efforts.

Comments: $10 per month is a lot... BUT it's seamless and really does work. The card reader function and iphone/iCloud sync is really helpful as is the multiple gmail accounts.

Pros: Seamless - set it and forget it

Cons: glitches now and then with Google or PieSync

Comments: If you need more information on any of your contacts, FullContact is the app for you. In my business, sometimes I only get an email address and/or a first name. Once I put it into FullContact, the magic begins. Lots of programs claim to scour the net to source missing contact info, but this one seems to be the best at it. From just an obscure email address I will be able to obtain a contact's name, social profiles, photo etc. Invaluable.

Pros: FullContact integrates with many other programs. I use the free version, which has been more than adequate so far. The premium version provides instant contact updates , while the free version states contacts are only scanned for updates monthly. The best thing about FullContact is their support. They have live chat and the reps are top notch. They really seem to care and know their stuff. I know that if I have an issue I will be able to get help.

Cons: Syncing with Google Contacts has created some duplication issues for me which are being looked into. Limited ability to create Zaps through Zapier, although they say they are working on expanding that. No integration with Outlook, but apparently that is also in the works.
