### "Aspire, a good program that could be great. "

has changed a lot since we first started using it. Originally, the program was not built for commercial landscape, but the programmers have made changes along the way to make it work. The program is user friendly, and the filters make life a lot easier when creating reports. I do wish more attention was given to the collections side. The ability to add notes to customers' accounts/ invoices and pull reports that show notes by location or account would be a game changer.

Pros

The program is user friendly for the most part. It did not take long to learn how to maneuver. Filters make life easier as well.

Cons

There really isn't a way to track Collections notes. We were unable to use the "notes" section as there was no way to pull reports showing collections attempts. We were having to keep a separate spreadsheet that had to be updated weekly. Finally, we purchased a separate program to track collections

Our overall experience with has been fantastic. Dealing with everything that's required to transition from a mostly manual operation, using spreadsheets and manually generating invoices, to Aspire, has been a challenge but the end result will be well worth the effort. The Aspire team has been more than helpful in getting us where we want to be!

Pros

is a comprehensive application that covers close to 100% of the administrative and management needs of our landscape maintenance and snow services company. The application allows us to manage the work that we do for commercial properties of all sizes from bidding on jobs all the way through invoicing for services. With options to manage fixed price (i.e. monthly invoicing), fixed price on completion and time & materials contracts, easily schedule work for our crews and properly job cost labor, equipment and materials we're able to streamline our administrative processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Cons

Overall, there isn't really anything not to like about . However, because it is such a comprehensive system it does take some time to learn all that you need to know to get it up and running to its full potential.

### "Don't get swept up by everyone is using it. "

Billing is very manipulative and predatory. They once over charged us and then took 18 months to fix it. They then only gave a credit for a future product vs a credit on a bill. If you do any design build then I wouldn't use this product. I also think you can get better value for the price from other vendors.

Pros

It is specific to the landscape industry. The salespeople are really aggressive. We do have a good client account manager, but he is spread way too thin.

Cons

Extremely cumbersome to deploy and use. You will not get any real value out of it for several years. Lots of issues around "that is how it works and there is nothing we can really do about it"

### "Aspire Overview"

Overall, I would say our company has had a positive experience with . The biggest obstacles with Aspire were: - Teaching our office staff their user roles and best utilizing their permissions. It took a lot of repetition to get them to understand how to best use the system and ensure accuracy. - Teaching our crews how to use Aspire Mobile. This includes: clocking crew members in and out, punching in and out of work tickets, adding materials to work tickets, and working around the flaws of the app. We have been able to overcome many of these obstacles with the support of our CSM and his team. This support chain has led us in our success with Aspire and greatly deepened our understanding the processes involved with the system.

Pros

I like the wide range of reports that can be generated within . These reports help with everything from scheduling, opportunity management, work tickets completion, and so on. Our CSM, \[sensitive content hidden\], has been great as well, giving us the resources we need in order to understand Aspire and connecting us with the right people.

Cons

There are some aspects, like EOM, portions of the accounting, and refund processes that take significantly longer to complete than they should. The mobile application, Mobile, is also just ok. There tends to be loading issues and a lot a frustration using the app out in the field with both managers and our crews.

### "Top Tier Landscape Business Management Platform"

Wonderful. This has absolutely revolutionized our business management, we can see where we're at financially at any given time, just through running a couple reports, as opposed to having to wait 30-45 days after closing a month to know how we did in that month. That agility and speed of insight has allowed us to make much better, data-driven decisions.

Pros

I love the flexibility of the scheduling module most of all the features, being able to quickly and easily move work around means that it is super easy to make sure everyone stays on track. The estimating and proposal process is the smoothest I've ever used, still has some oddities I wish would be improved here and there, but by and large, it's very good. Invoicing can be done in large batches with just a handful of clicks, taking that cycle down from something that often took multiple days, to something that can be done in just a day, which greatly helps with cash flow and overhead costs. The support from the customer success team is always clutch too.

Cons

There are little corners of the program here and there that are definitely still in need of some improvement, and I'm sure in time they will be worked on, but things like inventory management, chemical documentation, some of the user role management, all of those are in need of a rework.

allowed us to see our business truly. We could finally see all the things we thought we knew, but in hindsight we didn't. Aspire has been a game changer for us

Cons

doesn't have many bad features, it seems like with all the updates, any issues get worked out. For us, the biggest thing would be some changes from Aspire Crew Mobile to Aspire Mobile.

It's good. I recommend it to people that are looking for a new program.

Pros

\- ease of use - that the app can be in English or Spanish - customer service responsiveness

Cons

\- unable to determine estimated vs. actual quantities of items (i.e.: mulch, debris, etc.) - unable to call and speak with customer service if desired - whenever there's an update, things that were working great stop working or don't work as well - this drives me crazy - knowledgebase could be more robust and include more info. - expensive - We create our maintenance estimates in QBs, save them as PDF and manually email them to clients because 's estimates must list every service as it would be invoiced. It doesn't look nice. For example, I prefer to list Non-organic Lawn Fertilization with a basic description. Instead I must list Non-org Lawn Fert R1, Non-org Lawn Fert R2, Non-org Grub, Non-org Lawn Fert R3, etc. It looks redundant and doesn't look nice. - it would be nice if it didn't matter if crews' 'location services' weren't on on their phone and we could still see whether they were on a property when they start/stop time - it would be nice if we could see where the crews are at all times and/or see the route they take to a property

We have been with for 7 years at this point and it has been great. Most times any issues that do come up are quickly handled and/or updates are put into the system. I feel that we would not be were we are today as a business without Aspire!

Pros

Comparatively speaking to others that have been used in the past as well as simple excel and word documents, this program has really changed how we do business on the production side alone. As for the business and admin side, there are a lot of similarities in how we do business, but the ease and information is there with ease.

Cons

The only real issues that are worth mentioning is that when there are updates, we almost need another person in-house to see what is changing and make sure they do not effect some of the individual daily processes. Again, this is not a major problem and is great to see the continued updates.

Very good experience, implementation manager was very understanding at slow start given in my personal situation that I did not begin with the appropriate amount of people setting the system up. Very thankful to have the Herring Group helping with fully being able to set up our system

I like that is has the capacity to be very detailed with understanding all individual working parts as well as the wholesome part of the business.

Cons

Very time consuming in data entry, understanding well of what the numbers mean in the estimate box as well as understanding where the numbers come from, being able to appropriately calculate costs in order to seek the maximum return on job costing

We've been with for 5 years and it has helped us in many ways. We can look at data all in one spot and not have multiple spreadsheets to track hours, materials, purchase orders, equipment service logs, etc.

I love the data that I can pull from it. It helps us make informed decisions.

Cons

It's difficult to make changes to our layouts. When we need to make a change to the look of our invoices, contracts, purchase orders, etc, we wish it could be a much smoother process.

### "Love software, love the team, but still room to grow further!"

Overall, it's been a good experience. There were some hurdles initially, we weren't onboarded very successfully, it felt rushed and incomplete. We are having to go back and refine some processes and items in takeoffs, kits, and catalog for more efficient use of the software, but once we get that taken care of, we'll really have a great work engine for our business. I also have to mention that nearly every person I've worked with at is amazing--passionate about improving the software, fun and easy to work with, and just feel like true partners.

Pros

The workflow from contact creation all the way to billing and the overall data structure of the software makes it pretty intuitive to use. Also love the partner software packages like PropertyIntel, MarketingPro, and Azuga.

Cons

There is a lot of room for growth in the CRM for sales scorecards and dashboard customization to track metrics and KPIs. We're still pulling data into Power BI for deeper insights into our data and dashboard creation, and it would be nice if we could have more of that integrated within the software.

### "Business Saver."

We have been using for about 7 or 8 years now and have grown with it and we still likely are not using all aspects of it. Aspire has helped us make sure that all of our contracts and jobs are profitable and if not have made it possible to have the discussions with clients to get them paying the right amounts.

Pros

It is very intuitive and covers all aspects of our operations. There are bridges to our accounting systems that once set up properly work very well. The reporting that is available within the system when used correctly is amazing and helps make sure that you are profitable on all jobs.

Cons

sometimes updates and fixes are slower than we would like. but they do get them looked after. It would be nice to have a bridge to a true CRM to avoid duplicate entries.

### "Fay-Ark ASPIRE Review 2024"

FAST! Incredibly enlightening and comforting since we had everything, we knew we needed but nowhere to store and house our data that worked for us. We are growing fast, and we needed a system to help job cost and report data in an outstanding way.

Pros

The software is providing an excellent data platform that enables my company to efficiently view past, current and future job costing.

Cons

Cannot sort payment type or show from deposits menu tab.

It's been great. All the individuals that we have dealt with from implementation to our CSM have been very good at helping us whenever needed.

Pros

Being a "one stop shop" for our business. It can handle your CSM, down to your scheduling.

Cons

I wish the scheduling of recurring services was designed a bit different.

### "Pro Aspire!"

As an estimator, I have used a few different programs to help with bidding. makes thing so much easier and efficient. It also works with PropertyIntel. As an estimator, this feature if extremely time saving and beneficial to my bidding process.

Pros

The efficiency! I am an estimator and it make the process so efficient, saving my a lot of time.

Cons

Nothing really. The learning curve is a trial but it all pays off in the end.
