### "Shorb Landscaping Review "

Overall its very good and would recommend to anyone. Our CSM is great and has been a guiding light for the last year or so. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been great for us and has really kept us in and not completely losing our faith in aspire. We see light at the end of the tunnel with the transition to earn rev and everything else is good. In the end you get out of the system what you put in, so we have a lot of ownership.

Pros

I like that it has a very robust base to what you can do and how you can do it. I think aspire has done it's best to create a system that can be be used by many companies. WE are all in landscaping but we realy run things differently and want a system that allows us to do it "our way"

Cons

\-The issue base system is gutting better, but at one time that was a con for me. -The speed in that knew issues are resoled.- we recently moved from inv to earn rev. That was a big problem for us and i dont believe that aspire had a good way or a thought out process to get us trained and move us to earn rev.-Need a more CRM sales base function to aspire. I know its coming but not fast enough. -

It seemed like it was the most robust at the time and i knew a few other companies on it that had good things to say.

### "Getting Better All the Time"

Pros

It is easy to use and gives tremendous amounts of data for analysis to enable us to make good business decicisions.

Cons

Where do I begin... There is so much information in here that there are several things that we should be able to do within the system as opposed to having to export the information and create our own data tables. For instance, all Contract Direct Costs exist within Opportunities, so why is there not an easy way Aspire has a button to show us what our current Budget is based off of those values? This is something that every company should have and Aspire could help make this an easier process. Also, we need a better way of analyzing our top performing Properties and Companies in addition to our bottom performers. This can be achieved by exporting informaiton, but Aspire should be able to provide us with our Top and Bottom 10-25 with the click of a button.

Overall I am very satisfied with Aspire. It provides real time information, several options of approaches while stating what they consider is best practice, and abundant customer service resources. Aspire is constantly making updates based on client recommendations and trying to create streamlined paths.

Pros

I love that Aspire provides real time information regarding jobs, pipeline, receivables status, and more. It gives us a much larger comprehensive picture of where we stand at any point so impactful decisions can be made.

Cons

Initially is was a drastic difference from our previous manual method of tracking jobs. Aspire has seemingly limitless options for reports; however, it takes awhile to learn what is most helpful and how to best utilize your options within each module. Each module has different search features so it can be challenging to figure out how to run comparable reports from different angles.

Been amazing. The longer we use it the more profitable we become.

Pros

Love that it has the ability to manage everything from the initial phone call to the entire management of the project and time tracking for the guys out in the field. Love that it sinks with Fleet sharp and tracks equipment hours. Love having everything on the cloud to access all information from anywhere I have wifi. Love the ease in scheduling projects and love seeing the progress on the job. The list goes on and on. I love that the basis to the system to create and manage jobs is based on labor, equipment and materials. I love to adjust the complexity of the job for reasons such as drivetime, custom projects, and difficult clients, etc... Aspire protects our margins so that we capture great margins on small and large projects alike.

Cons

I don't have many cons, but the most difficult thing just comes down to using it daily. It is a powerful system with many, many tools. The learning curve is a bit taxing before you learn how really to make the program work for your liking. I wish that editing and changing layout was easier and that having the ability to do so personally didn't require another level of extended training. I wish it were more intuitive and easier to navigate so that any aspire user listed as an administrator could jump on and work on it. I wish you could have different brand names for different branches without showing all the names or choosing one as the main.

Yes. Service autopilite was missing too many important job tracking features and was too difficult to understand.

We have an Aspire rep assigned to keep track of our needs.Aspire Care, the Support side of Aspire, is responsive and there are many webinars offered to help companies work through any issues or learning gaps with Aspire.Aspire is a fairly detailed CRM so it takes a while for everyone to get on board with some processes, but once they do it seems everyone is happy with the functionality and amount of reporting available.

Pros

Being able to add custom formulas to reports (lists) created in Aspire.Detailed quotes that look professional.Managing contacts of a property.SiteOne integration works well for us since they are our primary vendor for Irrigation inventory.Easy inventory pricing tool to quickly update prices.Easy to move jobs on the schedule and schedule for multiple days or as a series for repeated jobs.Since their acquisition by Service Titan development has really ramped up.

Cons

Job Management is good until a change order is made. The best option is recreating the quote.Cost of software is based on your revenue not the amount of customers, so price doesn't really equal the amount of use if you just have a small number of large revenue customers.Too many functions. Sometimes if you don't use them all it skews reporting.

Reason for choosing Aspire

It checked the boxes on critical needs for our Commercial Landscape business:o- good integration with Quickbookso- Tracking crew hours over multiple days and changes in crew size per day on same project.o- Needed professional looking contracts that are easy to edit and we can actually format the way we like given the new Report Designer function (as long as you have someone software savvy)o- We needed the ability to add multiple contacts to a property, even going as far as adding all HOA board members.o- ability to manage inventory and inventory prices in bulk

Tremendous!!! I have loved creating processes and procedures to better analyze data in order to make educated decisions that impact the success of our businesses.

Pros

Never ending improvements to help our industry become more efficient in data input and analysis.

Cons

CRM-Need more visualization and allow reporting based upon P&L sales as opposed to individual performance. Some Filters and Displays need to be added to List functionality to reduce the need to export into other systems.

### "New user with high hopes"

Our tracking has been relatively old school and spread across many people and different types of software. I really appreciate how Aspire brings so much together to one place and how everything updates in real time for all users.

Pros

I think the job ticket and scheduling features are great.

Cons

The software was created for jobs that have recurring services and steady costs, which makes it great for maintenance. But over 50% of our company’s business comes from construction, and that side of the software is lacking.

Implementation was great, if a little limited in terms of introducing us to advanced features. The product itself is the best service delivery software I have ever seen in this industry! We are getting even more benefit from the software now that we are working with a 3rd party consultant.

Pros

I can document commitments to clients, assign them to my employees, and track their follow-through which helps me build trust with my clients. I can track my company and employee's progress toward their financial goals quickly and easily. We build consistent, objective estimates for our work that help improve our profitibility.

Cons

We are working with a 3rd party consultant to help us better understand how to use certain features of Aspire which has been helpful. I feel this is a service that Aspire could have helped us with better but if these types of services were available from Aspire, I was unaware.

We felt that Aspire was more robust and would allow us to scale significantly.

Overall, where we are sitting now is good. It was a rough start with the initial trainer not participating in the training and then soon quit leaving us to be passed around but Aspire did an excellent job of assigning us an amazing person to get us through our journey. We are utilizing the software in so many helpful ways.

Pros

This software has so many positive pieces to it that has improved the way we communicate within the company as well as complete jobs on site. It has allowed us to become more paperless in the field which is something so many of us have wanted. Invoicing and job costing has become more transparent.

Cons

The accounting portion is lacking a bit. You have to be creative to get all the information you may need at times and I feel the training lacked in the accounting area. Always being told to watch the videos or attend the online training sessions. We have so many training sessions regarding all other areas of the software repeatedly but nothing formal for the accounting. I understand there may be a legal or responsibility reason for this but we were a bit left out of the loop on this.

### "Best Landscaping Software "

Personally in the accounting arena, I have loved the ease of invoicing. Tracking time and running payroll is much easier than the old system we had been using.

Pros

We were always struggling to do job costing using Excel and QuickBooks and now the information is all contained in the opportunity. The invoicing saved so much time and has significantly improved our cash flow.

Cons

The integration and switch over were intense but the Aspire team was there to help with any questions and their training was great. I think there are little gripes with all software but the benefits far out way any issues we have encountered.If you don't hire people with strong computer skills, they may struggle a little.

Overall, I think Aspire is great. It has helped our business grow and gain better insight into the true costs on a job by job basis.

Pros

Aspire can seem very daunting at first glance, but if you take the time to really dig in and learn it, Aspire is fantastic. I like that it updates in real time. That you can track productivity on a ticket by ticket basis. The ability to apply all costs to individual tickets to better understand the job profitability. And you can build pretty much any report you could ever need.

Cons

There are work arounds when it comes to billing set up (like getting the bill to info to match a certain Management Groups needs). I would like to be able to use a customer's email more than once, because of billing work arounds.

Overall Aspire has allowed us to manage based on the numbers and choose which types of work are the most profitable for us.

Pros

Timely data, hours and profitability. Using the purchasing assistant to make sure everything is ordered

Cons

Not being able to easily turn on and off options for customers on proposals without creating new versions and losing old versions. Not getting all payment details onto invoices. Scheduling large jobs is a little hard to reschedule because you can't just click and drag the start of the job back and have it automatically move the other days.

### "Our Forever System"

Pros

We were drawn to Aspire for its robust features and integrations with other systems we were already using, such as Quickbooks, Go iLawn, and others. With Aspire we've been able to streamline some of our processes and eliminate the need to copy information from one system to another. When looking at other systems, we couldn't find anything else that had all the features and capabilities of Aspire - CRM with email integration, estimating, scheduling, invoicing, job costing, timekeeping, payroll, and more. With all these features already built-in, we knew Aspire was going to be our forever software. It had the features we needed now to help us grow, and the built-in processes that will be crucial to maintaining efficiency with higher sales and more crews.

Cons

A major disadvantage to Aspire is their app - it kinda sucks. The features within the app are very limited. However, we understand that Aspire is working on developing a new and improved app that will hopefully be rolling out within the next year. Also, the implementation process is tough, especially for a small company that doesn't have a person, or team of people, who can devote themselves to learning and setting up the program. I feel like the timeline Aspire gives for the implementation process is grossly misleading. Please DO NOT think you will be up and running with this system after the 3 month implementation period! There is a lot of homework that has to be done outside of the virtual implementation sessions. It took us closer to 5 months before we could discontinue our contract with our previous software provider and start estimating and scheduling within Aspire. And even now as we're working within the system full-time, we're still getting templates set up and continuing to familiarize ourselves with the many features and all that this software can do.

After experiencing two price increases within the first year of use with our other software provider, and already seeing the limitations within that software, we started looking for our 'forever system'. As a smaller company in the growth phase of our business, we felt like we were maybe getting in a little over our heads with Aspire. It's a big investment - more than double what we were paying with our other software - but such a robust system! We felt like it was only going to be more difficult to switch over the longer we waited, so we jumped in and haven't looked back.

It's been outstanding. Aspire care and our transition team and our Client Success Manager have always been available for questions and support. This is the first time in the past 7 years that I feel our team has the information accessible and readily available to drive our success.

Pros

For me, as an owner/operator, I really enjoy the easy/immediate access to information from estimating through invoicing that Aspire has given me. Our ability to project our business results and manage our strategic needs has led us to unexpected results/successes. Thank you, Aspire!

Cons

Aspire has been fantastic since implementation, however initially I felt lost and overwhelmed during training and only transitioned to a fully functioning user as we went live, and I was able to do practical applications daily.

Excellent. The staff are very supportive and helpful and seem to actually care about their work and getting answers. The system is maintained and constantly improving. This is clearly a smart company that cares about what they're doing.

Pros

It's intuitive and understands my specific needs. It also covers the whole lifecycle of the company, from sale through operations to billing.

Cons

I like Aspire a lot, but I would like a bit more of a QA component to work with so we could use it entirely across the company.

### "Great Landscaping Software"

Great customer care. They are always updating and listening to their clients. They are responsive and are always available to help. This software will be the go to in the future of landscaping companies.

Pros

The ease of use is great. We can train a new production worker in less than a day to be able to perform their daily tasks. New management can step right in and understand the basics within a week and takes them about a month to be able to function effectively in the program. Scheduling crews is great. Recurring work is easy to schedule for the year and the drag and drop is a great function. The software helps you not miss easy to miss work orders and invoicing. Reports are easy to pull up and be able to share with other team members. The ability to be able to work wherever we are. If we are out of town on a business trip we can still operate our normal jobs if needed.

Cons

Certain scheduling aspects would be nice to be able to duplicate with the click of a button. Ex: Scheduling out turf cares would be nice to be able to do this. Set the first round and then say schedule the remaining turf rounds in the same exact order.

Reason for choosing Aspire

The overall functions and ease of use. The customer service and the people involved with the product. We knew they were and still are going to make it even better than it already is.

Implementation was about 6 months before I came on board. It is my understanding that this experience was short and did not provide enough training for the staff. We have had challenges due to misunderstandings through the implementation, but seem to finally be making progress on our Aspire processes. We are looking forward to getting into the YOJ classes!

Industry specific alignment and integration with phone apps for field use.

Cons

Inability to get real time entries in to QB. Would like to see a daily update via the connector, very similar to what a restaurant POS system can provide. I understand there will be challenges with Earned Revenue, but also believe there to be a viable solution.

Aspire gets easier and easier to use every day. The more you use it the easier it becomes to use.

Pros

Aspire is easy to manage your accounts and relationships with customers. Once they are entered into the system, we are on track to keep moving them through the sales pipeline. Because a sale does not happen this year with the account, we are able to account and plan for future interactions.

Cons

If co-workers are not cleaning up what they are putting into Aspire, then it can get cluttered with non-important information. The team needs to be aware of the information they are putting in and thinning it out as we go.

overall, I would give Aspire a 90 out of a 100. If you asked me this question 18 months ago I probably say 60 out of a 100. But watching the videos and contacting support has been a great help. Your Customer Support team gets a 100. They always get back and help right away.

I do not like that you can not edit the lines on the invoices. We have a few clients that I have excel sheets setup for invoicing because I can't edit the line on invoices for a maintenance contract. I

### "Aspire just works"

We used CLIP for 15 years, LMN for 5 years and now Aspire. Aspire costs more but you also get a lot more.

Pros

Accuracy of estimating. Speed with which estimates can be generated using templates, the equipment module syncing with gps and alerting for all of the maintenance. I also wish you could generate an efficiency score for each employee rather than only for the crew leader.

Cons

Not being able so see notes on the equipment serviced report. You can see the notes on the equipment needing serviced report but for some reason not on the report of the equipment that has been serviced.

It's been great. Honestly, the partnership with our CSMs (or CSMs interim) back to implementation and the support we get from everyone at Aspire is amazing. We value relationships here at PGI, but didn't realize we were buying more than just a software.

Pros

Being able to have easy access to see how much money we are making or losing on jobs. This is important to be able to know if we are bidding correctly or not. The goal is to grow, not sink.

Cons

Honestly, as more and more releases and updates are done, the system just keeps getting better and better.

It was user friendly, HOWEVER, it was not geared to Commercial Maintenance. Also, the training to use the product was nowhere near the training that Aspire provides.

Pros

It is user friendly between our Ops and Sales department. We have been deep diving into other areas as well like inventory and site audits and Aspire has a lot to offer.

Cons

The site audits when being used on the phone are not user friendly.

Reason for choosing Aspire

Our CFO did the backend work and homework and found Aspire to be the best fit.

Overall i think Aspire is a good fit for our application. i think it provides a good system for job estimating and job costing.

Pros

The aspire software offers a lot of solutions we needed for our business. The fact that the billing ties to QB is invaluable in my opinion. The PO system has saved us hundreds of thousands in unauthorized / or incorrect billing. Deployment was a nightmare at first, we definitely didn't make it easy on our consultant, but he also did a pool job of guiding us in the correct direction. We had a change in consultants about half way through and she got us back on track.

Cons

There are small issues that are annoying... when you email a PO to a vendor it doesn't save a record on the opportunity or work ticket it's associated with, also it doesn't recall any email addresses, so you have to type in address every time. super waste of time. in the scheduler i sometimes have issues finding the work tickets i want to schedule (not sure if that's user error) Often times a work ticket will report committed costs against purchase receipts that have been received and approved making EOM procedures difficult, especially if the purchase receipt was approved ina closed month. I don't thnk the payroll function works for us... (not certain bc i don't do payroll)

The team thought it looked easier to use.
