Pros

Altametrics is a helpful tool for restaurant operations, especially if you value efficiency and organization. You might like how simple it makes scheduling—employees can view shifts, swap, or request time off through the mobile app, saving managers time and reducing confusion. The inventory features help track usage and costs, making it easier to control waste and improve margins. The labor analytics provide clear insights into staffing needs, helping you avoid over- or under-scheduling. The system’s dashboards are straightforward and give you a good snapshot of your restaurant’s performance. For busy kitchens, Altametrics can streamline day-to-day management, improve communication with staff, and provide data that supports better decision-making, ultimately boosting both productivity and cost control.

Cons

It was a bit difficult to get it started, it is glitchy at times and Smaller operations or very thin staffing may find it overkill or may struggle with getting the full value, particularly if they encounter bugs or lack internal support for managing the software.

Alta Schedules is awesome! We use it every day. The server is slower than I'd like, making it tedious to make schedules. But otherwise it's overall good.

Pros

Altametrics integrates with a lot of our restaurant operations. It has an enterprise suite and an analytics side.

Cons

It can get glitchy when using the inventory app it likes to crash often. It's possible there are too many users on the server.

Pros

Altametrics is relatively easy to use for restaurant purposes, however, it requires installing two separate apps in order to inventory and schedule. It’s also not visually interesting at all.

Cons

I disliked that in order to use Altametrics it required separate apps for inventory and scheduling instead of making it a singular, multifaceted tool.

My overall experience has been wonderful, and I'm so glad a friend of mine showed me Altametrics! It makes my day-to-day easier as well as my employee's days. We love being able to keep track of everything and making sure we are organized.

Pros

I love being able to do everything from scheduling to inventory on any device. I love that I can also check in on everything while I am away from my business. It makes it easier to schedule shifts without constant communication. The app also promotes collaboration among crew members with punch visibility.

Cons

I have had a few loading issues here and there, but nothing major to worry about. It's always fixed promptly!

Goodbye, timecard! My manager just had me download this today. The format is very low-key, non-distracting, easy to navigate. With in-app tutorials, contact, FAQ, this invaluable business resource just eliminated a whole tree from my boss's mom and pop restaurant! I'm not manager material yet, but I could navigate this whole tool untutored. There's an additional pade for branded apps from the creator. I'm off to get the 'Never forget your schedule app'.

Pros

Non-distracting easy to navigate interface or menu layout and design.

Cons

Would like to see this for self-employed, multiple jobs, DIY folks.

It increases productivity and increases production volumes because it improves financial profitability while minimizing employee management costs.

Pros

The solution has significantly reduced our labor costs by streamlining human resource management. It streamlines processes, automates tasks, and increases efficiency, so we can achieve the same results with fewer resources or in less time. Reducing unnecessary labor costs reduces overall costs and increases our financial efficiency and sustainability. This improvement not only increases productivity, but also reduces management costs associated with labor.

Manager's ability to oversee punches, monitor the whole store schedule, and get labor notifications instantaneously is unparalleled. The best thing of this software is that everyone is on the same page and working to the same time scale.

Pros

The application is really easy to use, and the customer care team is always accessible to help with any concerns I may have. The time-tracking tool has proven to be quite beneficial for me.

Cons

I once attempted to clock in or out but was unable to do so; nevertheless, the problem was reported and is now resolved.
