It was great to experience another software but from a lot of office ive worked for they didnt like how old school it seemed. They would have prefered more updates.

Pros

It was a good thing for me to test out as a student for dental assisting to get more experience with a different software besides Eaglesoft.

Cons

It was not very user friendly. Seemed more old school verses Eaglesoft being more modern.

A good product overall!

Pros

Ideal software for a paperless Dental Practice. It has a place for almost everything and is compatible with other applications.

Cons

Still has a few quirks that need to be addressed. Too much clicking of mouse. I wish it would respond to key strokes as well so that I don't always have to use mouse.

Dentrix is affordable and makes it so easy to effectively and efficiently keep patient records, billing/collections, and treatment plan.

Cons

The software has frozen up on me more times than I can count. We were not sure if that was because of the software or our server, but Dentrix seems to be very touchy.

Pros

I like that this is made for multiple practices. We travel to 5 offices during the week and with one log in I can view my schedule from each location.

Cons

The only downfall with dentrix enterprise is when you use it with a practice with multiple locations you loose other features like going chartless

I manage a team of 19 hygienists and trying to keep all of them on the same page can be difficult, the "i" button has been the most useful tool for us in patient preparation

I feel that the printing of referrals to another specialists is confusing and difficult, takes too many steps.

Dentrix is very easy to use and navigate though. Online help is always there if needed but do not need to use it very often

I cannot not really think of anything that I do not like about Dentrix other then when search for a patient you cannot use the arrow tab to scroll down

It's potentially well organized. Many neat features once you figure out how to use them. Color coding available.

Cons

Took a long time to get the hang of, and the icons seemed outdated and hard to identify. The training videos were only minimally helpful and also seemed very outdated.

Pros

Software is very straightforward, but still customizable! Love the ease of the ledger and following transaction links. Rescheduling multiple appointments is also very simple.

Cons

Only concern is some pages load slowly - if you're like me and don't like to have lots of tabs open at once it can be kind of frustrating.
