Pros It's got a nice sync functionality that works well and is unobtrusive. you can have file structures on your computer that automatically sync with the server, and it's easy to create sharable links. And audio player pleases everyday life. I link the calendar function to a smartphone and am helpful both officially and privately. For the exchange of data a well suited and secure cloud storage. Cons Nextcloud is not as powerful in features as others. However, new ones are constantly being added. I have been able to use it to setup a server at home for my family’s cloud storage, and the developers move at a very fast pace. It is wonderful to see how quickly the software gets bug fixes and improvements. Cons While it is getting easier, it is not very easy for someone to setup at home or on their own without much experience or consulting help. But, you get what you pay for, and if you set it up yourself then you won’t really need to pay for anything except hardware.
