We are solving the expensive cost of gas because we can optimize the routes and plan better to avoid excess of gas expenses.

Pros

The OptimoRoute system is suitable for our small company and easy to use. It's a flexibility system with access to a mobile application. The customer service is excellent and since we began using Optimo Route, we have a considerable improvement in our deliveries of product.

Cons

Some times I can't plan the routes with all my drivers because it takes only 2 of them but is not a big deal. Maybe we have something to change in the profiles of the drivers.

When I start working here they were using already the product.

Hi Maria - we know how much of an impact gas costs can have on a small business and it's great that OptimoRoute has been of help. Our engineering team works daily on making sure we give our customers the best and shortest routes. There is a way to use both your drivers! Simply select the "Balancing" option under Planning Settings when you click the Plan Routes tab. You can choose the option to "Balance routes and use all drivers", and make other adjustments if you like. If you're still having trouble, write to our support team at support@optimoroute.com and they will take care of everything!

### "GREAT APP TO USE FOR DELIVERIES/SERVICES"

Pros

LOVE the tracking and location on it, as I am the owner of a snow clearing company and we use it to show customers who are away that their property is being cleared. The tracking also allows customers to see when you are on the way and exactly where you are. The Data Management is great, because it allows you to go back and see the proof by way of pictures, but also helps when I do the monthly billing. This was also such an easy program to learn so there was no steep learning curve. Great value for your money!

Cons

Wish it could integrate an accounting program so it could be automatically set up to generate invoices based on time spent at properties.

Is the most efficient tool for tracking and location that I have used, it has save our company a lot of money by optimizing everything automatically and securily, the user interface is easy to understand and the customer support is great, we have not encountered any bugs or issues so far.

I do not have any bad comments regarding this app, I have use it for over 4 years now and it is as reliable as the first day

### "Good Features, Inconsistent Routing Between Nearby Locations"

Experience is 3 stars. It works for what I’m doing, but it could be much more optimized. It often takes me 15–30 minutes to manually adjust a 160-location route because I don’t like my drivers going in circles. I’m sure Optimoroute performs well for trucking, but for neighboring deliveries, it feels mid.

Pros

I really like the mobile integration feature, the live dashboard, the POD requirements, and the report export tools. These all make it easier to manage large delivery routes and keep my team organized in real time. The exports are helpful, but they would benefit from better photo access and more flexibility. Ideally, I should be able to create custom reports for my clients and adjust exactly what they can or cannot see. This matters because there are times when certain locations shouldn’t be shared, or when specific information needs to remain confidential. Adding that level of control would make the reporting feature significantly stronger.

Cons

The route optimization between neighboring locations is not very accurate, which creates extra work on my end. When I’m managing dense delivery routes with many stops close together, the system often sequences them out of order or sends drivers back and forth across the same areas. This defeats the purpose of efficient routing and forces me to manually reorganize routes that should already be streamlined. For large-scale drops with 100+ locations, these inaccuracies add up quickly and impact both time and fuel efficiency. The tool has potential, but the optimization for neighboring locations definitely needs improvement.

### "Loveing OptimoRoute"

I love optimoroute. It has made making my route and keeping track of my drivers progress so much easier. It does everything I need it to do. I haven't found another routing service that does a better job than OptimoRoute

Pros

This app has made my routing so much easier. I like how easy it is to route and how much it saves me time communicating changes to the route with my drivers. I always recomend Optimoroute to other mom&pop trash companies since it is so inexpensive and worth every feature.

Cons

I would like to see more on demand customer support even if it is an AI chat bot helping me figure out how to fix something. Theres so many features I haven't started working with since I am not 100% sure that I know how it will work.

What I appreciate most is the ability to optimize our resources — allowing us to reduce our operational costs, and increase over 30% the number of deliveries with the same fleet. We can plan ahead and allocate our resources more efficiently. Optimo Route provides accurate estimates of total working hours and travel distances, enabling us to calculate costs and test different scenarios to identify the most effective solutions.

Cons

I only have identified two cons, which are very minimal as we can use other options to make sure to get the functionality: 1. We have to provide the phone / email of the customer, while importing the orders, instead being pulled from the Locations Data Base (already in Optimo Route). That information is used to notify the customers (delivery time notification and proof of delivery). 2. We can not delete any order on "live" (meaning the routes running in that same day), so we need to contact the driver and ask them to "reject" or "fail" the order, to avoid the cancelled orders to keep showing up in the route (impacting the distance and working hours).

Pros

When you get used to this system everything is ok, it saves a lot of time and also money. Would recommend to others.

Pros

Clear drivers and routes tracking, easy to work with many orders. Good for time planning. Fair price.

Cons

When planning routes, there is much things that must be done by my own, not by automated system. Automatic routes planning (more then 1 days) gets messy - most of the time when there a lot of orders and there is 2 orders in one place just different working time it just skips job that takes more time.

OptimoRoute is a great program. I has saved me so much time when creating our delivery routes for our food-prep company. I was spending hours creating routes before finding optimoRoute. After learning the basics I could create route for several of our location fast. We recently moved to shipping in a couple of our locations so we don't utilize it as much as we previously did but continue to use it in our in-person delivery location. It is such a wonderful tool to make our routes simple.

Pros

I like how fast and easy it is to use. You upload your customer addresses and routes are created within minutes.

Cons

New addresses can leave you to the wrong house or areas.

I am the logistics manager of a medium-sized company. I find the platform really easy to use. It gives clear messages to customers and the GPS works well for the drivers.

Pros

The platform is really easy to use, especially when setting up the subheaders correctly. We have various amounts of data that our drivers need to use, which fit in seamlessly with the platform. It helps create route efficiency and increases productivity.

Cons

One issue is that it doesn't give to much variety when trying to use different types of vehicles. It would be great if it had a bike or a cargo bike option as they have different rules when comparing to Vans etc

It is a good value for my money and I will continue to use the product. I also enjoy the app on my phone. It perfectly shows my route and integrates with GoogleMaps to direct me to each stop.

Pros

I can simply add addresses and in seconds my day is planned. It saves me time every day from making the route to executing the route. The software is easy to learn and you can be making efficient routes within minutes. I am a single person business owner, so there are probably many great features that I am not using.

Cons

There are no cons that I have run into. I enjoy using OptimoRoute every day to maximize my time on the job.

I have made several suggestions to help with planning and growth for my business, and most have been followed up with and implemented into my routing. I appreciate that they listen and try to come up with solutions that work for my business needs. Security of client information has never been an issue for us.

Pros

Optimoroute gives me an all-inclusive look into the daily, weekly routes of all of my drivers. I have sight as to location, completion, and accuracy throughout each day. The help desk has been amazing assisting me with functionality and planning for growth.

Cons

I can't really say there was something I did not like, to start it is a little much to take in. I liked that they came out to the office to help me set up and get the basic functions going. Some things they have to set up on the back end were harder to figure out but we got thru that while their associate was here.

### "Time Saving and Professional Routing Solution"

Overall, my experience with OptimoRoute has been excellent. It’s streamlined our logistics, improved efficiency, and enhanced the customer experience. Aside from wanting more flexibility with a mobile admin app, the platform has been reliable, easy to use, and a great value to our business.

Pros

What I like most about OptimoRoute is that it saves us a lot of time when planning our delivery routes. It makes scheduling far more efficient and gives our customers a smooth, professional experience when receiving their orders.

Cons

The one thing I wish OptimoRoute had is a dedicated mobile app for administrators. It would be very helpful to track drivers and monitor operations on the go, without needing to be at a computer.

### "Great overall user friendly and great optimization "

Pros

Easy of input and great route calculations for lawn care treatments routes. Hopefully as business expands it will become more useful

Cons

The price is a little too high for a single user and jumped considerably a couple of years back. Would be better to have a lower tier single user with maybe less features that are not required.

### "Solid Routing Software A+"

I've been using it for a number of years and I've appreciated how dedicated they are to adding new features and making the UX better.

Pros

Its easy to use and constantly getting better. Seems like they are making big updates very often, which is nice.

Cons

Price tiers can be a little much for use. I only use the software 3-4 days a month and it would be nice to be able to upgrade to the better features based on use.

### "Love getting quick route responses"

I've used support a couple of times with reasonable results. The API documentation was pretty clear and thorough. The front end can be quite overwhelming, and the training/learning curve is a little high, but we built our own UI and just leverage the api at this point.

Pros

I like the it has an API and uses convenient endpoints to be able to quickly route a bunch of stops continually throughout the day.

Cons

That it doesn't allow license changes via the API.

### "Easy to use, flexible, good value for money"

We have been very happy with optimoroute it has performed well without any issues in the 4 years or so we've used it. Users as well as the drivers have been pretty pleased with the ease of administration and the simplicity of the app.

Pros

The user interface is nice, clean and fast, options for routing are pretty flexible, being able to setup a pickup before a delivery has been very useful for us. The Api is also quite good and simple to use.

Cons

The biggest issue we've had has been a lack of logging, with multiple users changing things around it can be a bit tricky to find out who did what. Their support is very helpful in these situations but it would be nice with an audit log or similar functionality in the customer frontend.
