Pros The OptimoRoute system is suitable for our small company and easy to use. It's a flexibility system with access to a mobile application. The customer service is excellent and since we began using Optimo Route, we have a considerable improvement in our deliveries of product. Cons Some times I can't plan the routes with all my drivers because it takes only 2 of them but is not a big deal. Maybe we have something to change in the profiles of the drivers. Our engineering team works daily on making sure we give our customers the best and shortest routes. There is a way to use both your drivers! Simply select the "Balancing" option under Planning Settings when you click the Plan Routes tab. You can choose the option to "Balance routes and use all drivers", and make other adjustments if you like. The tracking also allows customers to see when you are on the way and exactly where you are. The Data Management is great, because it allows you to go back and see the proof by way of pictures, but also helps when I do the monthly billing. This was also such an easy program to learn so there was no steep learning curve. Great value for your money! Cons Wish it could integrate an accounting program so it could be automatically set up to generate invoices based on time spent at properties. When there is a discrepancy with deliveries the pictures are saved to the date and the location, easy search and find. We have to provide the phone / email of the customer, while importing the orders, instead being pulled from the Locations Data Base (already in Optimo Route). That information is used to notify the customers (delivery time notification and proof of delivery). 2. We have looked into alternate software in most other parts of the business so this is high praise. Pros It is easy to use and simple to teach others. It has had improvements since I first started using it. It has allowed us to know how many drivers a day we should be using and due to this has saved the company money. Cons After a while you get used to what it should do/ what your routes generally look like however If you have inputted data incorrectly it is hard to pinpoint what is throwing it off. It's really useful, more than other apps. Pros The fact that I can see where all my orders are located so I can plan my drivers accordingly and efficiently. Office Assistant Utilities Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Easy to use worth the money" September 11, 2025 5.0 I think the company is great and we have been able to keep this going for a while now on our side. Easy enough to set up to where we do not need to call customer service. Pros Easy to use for drivers and office. The app is simple and does not have a learning curve so anyone can use it. The tracking is useful for the office to keep up with customers. The GPS coordinates are great for rural areas where maps are not always correct. This cut down on our training time of drivers more than half. The cost is reasonable considering the amount of data you have to keep your business in order. The original setup took time but it helped our business to grow and maintain our customers. Cons The main issues we have is that the drivers do not have to use the program and can turn off the tracker on there side which led us to needing to purchase tracking devices for both our trucks. It helps streamline schedules and makes planning much easier. Pros Super easy to use from start to finish. Everything was clear, smooth, and saved a lot of time throughout the process when I first started. Cons I mainly use the route planning, but I’m still charged for features I don’t use, which feels unnecessary. Despite putting in the coordinates, sometime routes are not mapped correctly.
