This program is why I bought the company. interfaces well with Google maps for directions. The pin can be adjusted to precise location (ie Back Alley instead of front street (default for Google maps), It is easy to re-arrange the route as necessary

Pros

reliable routing system that is easy to add/ remove stops ... and is easy to 'replicate' regular stops week after week. The GPS searchable history has also proven invaluable to answer customer's inquiries

Cons

1) I would like to have the "driver's notes" appear at the TOP of the info on the driver's tablet - for the driver to see readily ...rather than the "customer's email/ID" and "duration" 2) the APP on the tablet closes every time it "navigates" via google maps and has to be re-opened every single time. :(

The main thing I would improve is address handling. In real-life ecommerce, customers often enter addresses in different formats, with missing details, small mistakes, or local variations. OptimoRoute works well when the address data is clean, but we sometimes still need to manually correct or adjust addresses before optimization. Better automatic recognition and correction of imperfect addresses would make the software even more useful. This is just an inconvenience not a real issue

My business wouldn't run nearly as smooth without Optimo Route. It's affordable and I am still discovering useful features. Highly recommended.

Pros

Optimo Route has been an essential routing software for my small business. I am just one man doing local residential irrigation. I can easily route all my appointments for the day, week, month, year. I have annual services and can easily schedule using past routes and copy to future visits. There are many options I don't utilize but see value as my business grows. I can easily change routes, see the addresses on a map, client names, assign priority stops, and then send it all to the driver app. I have not encountered any issues that needed support. The monthly fee is nothing compared to the value and ease. This is an entire logistics and transportation program.

Cons

There are so many software programs that offer these same logistical options within larger client service and booking programs. Once my business is big enough to use one of those complete service all-in-one management programs, I probably will not need Optimo. For now it keeps my overhead costs low as I just have to do a little extra work to manually sync with my appointment and client Mgmt program.

It's been good overall. I did have the option to plan 2 routes, but had to reduce it to 1, because of a cost increase that happened a year or two ago.

Pros

Optimoroute is easy to use, and many improvements over the years, makes that much more so. Drag and drop capability is an example.

Cons

The cost - even though compared to many others, it is relatively lower cost, it is really the only thing I can look less favourably on (yes, I'm from Canada).

Simple and efficient, using this software has improved not only our delivery efficiency, but my personal knowledge of route planning as I can see the patterns and sensibilities it follows with every route plan. We're getting more on the truck than ever before and delivering with clear proof and statistics that are easily reviewed.

Pros

User friendly ease of use, clever planning and simplifies any route planning. Simply to adjust plans by altering timeslots and delivery priorities.

Cons

The truck specific navigation still requires some work regarding the directions it provides drivers while en-route, specifically the lane selection when exiting freeway offramps with multiple lane options. Otherwise the program itself is great, I've been using it for 4 years and have never once thought to change.

I love optimoroute. It has made making my route and keeping track of my drivers progress so much easier. It does everything I need it to do. I haven't found another routing service that does a better job than OptimoRoute

Pros

This app has made my routing so much easier. I like how easy it is to route and how much it saves me time communicating changes to the route with my drivers. I always recomend Optimoroute to other mom&pop trash companies since it is so inexpensive and worth every feature.

Cons

I would like to see more on demand customer support even if it is an AI chat bot helping me figure out how to fix something. Theres so many features I haven't started working with since I am not 100% sure that I know how it will work.

### "Awesome product for the price."

I've been using the service for years, I use Jobber as my CRM but the routing and automatic communication is garbage. Optimoroute has been my go to service for years now. With lot's of different needs from overnight routing for weeks, across hundreds of locations, to day to day service use. There are so many parameters which is great, but sometimes can make it hard to use for someone new to the software. I've always had someone call me and help me with service although it usually took a couple days for them to get back to me. Without a computer it's nearly impossible to edit or change your routes, the mobile desktop version doesn't work and these changes can't be made from the app.

Pros

super quick and efficient to transfer data and best routing I've found especially for the price. customer support has been amazing when I needed assistance, although it usually took a couple days to talk to someone in person. love the automated texts for tracking and appointment time frames.

Cons

Lot's of options can make it difficult to learn, some parameters will keep you from being able to route orders with no clear reasoning why. takes some time and patience to figure this out.

My overall experience using Optimoroute is 8/10. Somethings I don't quite understand how they work and the explanations can be sometimes vague. But for a Lite user with basic features it is definitely the best tool hands down.

Pros

Optimoroute has the best UI and easy-to-understand navigational menus. I enjoy having the ability to re-order the route based on what I think it should be based on my route standards so having that flexibility is definitely my favorite.

Cons

For a small business like myself with only 1 truck the price to get started is a little steep. I've tried other routing tools but for us Optimoroute is definitely the best thing there is.

In the many years that we have used optimoroute, we have gained more trust with our clients, by communicating when they will be recieving their packages, verbally, creating an increase in sales to our company.

Pros

The ability to set up and track deliveries in reat time. This has helped us to communicate with our clients and make quick decisions when new orders are added to a delivery run.

Cons

\- That you can't unschedule deliveries, once driver has looked at their assigned run - Real time ETA's are inaccurate, it would benefit to link real time traffic with Waze or Google maps - The inabillity to share an individual delivery with ETA to a Customer

Is the most efficient tool for tracking and location that I have used, it has save our company a lot of money by optimizing everything automatically and securily, the user interface is easy to understand and the customer support is great, we have not encountered any bugs or issues so far.

### "Game changer for multi stop routing"

It saves me hours of time every week and makes creating routes almost fun. It quickly became a necessity in our loss control inspection business.

Pros

The ability to import orders in a spreadsheet format and have them populate so I can have a clear picture of how to separate orders into daily routes. Being able to add and remove stops in real time for my driver.

Cons

The price hike. Long-time customers should have been grandfathered in to the price we agreed to. I also wish there was integration with Tesla navigation.

### "GREAT APP TO USE FOR DELIVERIES/SERVICES"

Pros

LOVE the tracking and location on it, as I am the owner of a snow clearing company and we use it to show customers who are away that their property is being cleared. The tracking also allows customers to see when you are on the way and exactly where you are. The Data Management is great, because it allows you to go back and see the proof by way of pictures, but also helps when I do the monthly billing. This was also such an easy program to learn so there was no steep learning curve. Great value for your money!

Cons

Wish it could integrate an accounting program so it could be automatically set up to generate invoices based on time spent at properties.

### "Simple but effective"

We have used it since the Covid pandemic and have not looked into other software which performs this same job. We have looked into alternate software in most other parts of the business so this is high praise.

Pros

It is easy to use and simple to teach others. It has had improvements since I first started using it. It has allowed us to know how many drivers a day we should be using and due to this has saved the company money.

Cons

After a while you get used to what it should do/ what your routes generally look like however If you have inputted data incorrectly it is hard to pinpoint what is throwing it off. I do not know how this could be improved though.

### "Worth the investment."

Worth the time and investment to get it set up. We can track our drivers, deliveries (the pictures are great and have saved us a number of times) and look back at past trends by delivery date.

Pros

The routing appears eminently sensible. It's pretty darned easy to use for us and our drivers. The pictures (once we started using this feature) have definitely saved our bacon.

Cons

There's a definite learning curve in how to use and integrate into our systems. Whilst it's worth it, it does feel quite laborious at the start.

### "Good Features, Inconsistent Routing Between Nearby Locations"

Experience is 3 stars. It works for what I’m doing, but it could be much more optimized. It often takes me 15–30 minutes to manually adjust a 160-location route because I don’t like my drivers going in circles. I’m sure Optimoroute performs well for trucking, but for neighboring deliveries, it feels mid.

Pros

I really like the mobile integration feature, the live dashboard, the POD requirements, and the report export tools. These all make it easier to manage large delivery routes and keep my team organized in real time. The exports are helpful, but they would benefit from better photo access and more flexibility. Ideally, I should be able to create custom reports for my clients and adjust exactly what they can or cannot see. This matters because there are times when certain locations shouldn’t be shared, or when specific information needs to remain confidential. Adding that level of control would make the reporting feature significantly stronger.

Cons

The route optimization between neighboring locations is not very accurate, which creates extra work on my end. When I’m managing dense delivery routes with many stops close together, the system often sequences them out of order or sends drivers back and forth across the same areas. This defeats the purpose of efficient routing and forces me to manually reorganize routes that should already be streamlined. For large-scale drops with 100+ locations, these inaccuracies add up quickly and impact both time and fuel efficiency. The tool has potential, but the optimization for neighboring locations definitely needs improvement.

Optimoroute is an absolute essential for our business. We deliver all over the city to different places and we rarely go to the same place more than once per year. We used to type out everything for our drivers in excel, but that still meant they were reliant on their own ability to find places in Google maps. Optimoroute means we can employ people and send hem on their way without having to waste time.

Pros

The ability to add notes to the delivery address so that the driver sees if there is any specific issues with the delivery. The ability to track drivers. The capacity to see how long individual deliveries take so we can optimise daily workflows.

Cons

Nothing really - Optimoroute gets better all the time. The click and drag functionality to allow you to move deliveries around was a big improvement when it came in.

Features like drag-and-drop route changes make it easy to adapt on the fly. Overall, OptimoRoute has played a key role in streamlining our logistics and improving efficiency across the board. What I appreciate most is the ability to optimize our resources — allowing us to reduce our operational costs, and increase over 30% the number of deliveries with the same fleet. We can plan ahead and allocate our resources more efficiently. Optimo Route provides accurate estimates of total working hours and travel distances, enabling us to calculate costs and test different scenarios to identify the most effective solutions.

Cons

I only have identified two cons, which are very minimal as we can use other options to make sure to get the functionality: 1. We have to provide the phone / email of the customer, while importing the orders, instead being pulled from the Locations Data Base (already in Optimo Route). That information is used to notify the customers (delivery time notification and proof of delivery). 2. We can not delete any order on "live" (meaning the routes running in that same day), so we need to contact the driver and ask them to "reject" or "fail" the order, to avoid the cancelled orders to keep showing up in the route (impacting the distance and working hours).

Pros

The value for money and customer support is beyond the best in the communication. Anytime I need security, bugs and issues and communication, they always help. User interface is very easy to use. Logistics setup is second to none.

Both the program and the app are easy to use - the app has few screens to deal with and the options for navigation are great!

Pros

Easy to navigate and a good visual interface! The map viewable while scheduling makes it very easy to see who is going where, and if drivers may be intersecting to allow restructuring of routes.

Cons

Sometimes transferring routes to other drivers was a little confusing, but once I understood the process it was intuitive and easy.
