It has greatly improved communications and has given us the ability to make important documents readily available to everyone. With some documents running to well over 100 pages, we are actually saving money - and trees! Pros Setting up a website for my homeowner's association could not have been easier. When I first signed up, a customer service rep contacted me to make an appointment for one-on-one training by phone and remote connection to my computer. She spent almost an hour walking me through each of the software's features and answering all of my questions. I had the site up and running the next day and our HOA members love it! I looked into several other website hosting options and I am very glad to have settled on HOA Express. I highly recommend it. Cons No real problems at all. I have asked for a few small 'tweaks' and they always reply very quickly. They are constantly working on improvements. Our HOA board decided to find a product that any of our residents could manage without web-building experience. HOA Express fit the bill completely! It does EVERYTHING we need! Here are the features I like the most: - Extremely easy to design our website using templates. - Residents create their own login and password and can customize their security settings. - Directory lets each homeowner provide whatever information they wish to share with their neighbors. - Announcements, newsletters and other important messages can be emailed to every resident or to a specific group of residents like board members. - A sample email is sent to me to review prior to blasting it to the entire neighborhood. - Monthly or weekly emails are automatically sent to residents, summarizing upcoming events and new website content. - Texts can be sent to residents' cell phones for immediate communication such as security alerts. - Residents can pay HOA dues online from their bank accounts or by credit card. - Pages can be easily added and edited. - Documents and photos are uploaded lightning fast. - Changes made to website occur instantly! - Technical support questions are answered within 24 hours (sometimes even within 24 MINUTES) with clear explanations and video tutorials. You really cannot go wrong using them. Pros I like everything about this site. The ability to email blast or send US mail, the ease of use. The ability if you want to allow owners to pay dues directly to your bank. And they also take over remembering to renew Domain if you got one from another provider. May 4, 2017 5.0 Ability to communicate effectively and easily with all HOA Residents. Pros Easy to set up, easy to administer. Customer Service questions answered in a reasonable length of time. Continuously adding improvements and new features in response to customer needs. Cons The on-line manual could be more comprehensive. Web master Real Estate Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Review of HOA Express" February 6, 2019 5.0 We are still in the early stages; it was suggested by a tech support rep that I, as the webmaster building this site, upload only the board member first to test the site and get feedback from them before inviting the entire community to log-in. That proved to be an EXCELLENT suggestion and allowed me to make many additions and changes BEFORE fully launching. Pros The ease of use and the fabulous customer support after first trying another company and having nothing but frustrations! The support feature alone is easy to access and questions are answered almost immediately. The software is very basic but very logical and met all of our needs. The various types of "pages" allowed covered every possible need we have. Cons The importing of the User data base is a bit rigid and should be expanded; i.e the import template only allows cell phone numbers and we need to have home phone numbers as well; two residents occupying the same unit (i.e. husband and wife) need to be entered as 2 separate lines - perhaps the template could be expanded to allow for the 2nd name and e-mail address at the same physical address all on one entry. I get a return response within hours for any emailed question. The software is consistent throughout and allows us to quickly edit, add or change functionality and pages. Our site looks clean and professional. Cons Some functionality is rigid and could be more flexible. Simple 2 tier scheme. Pay if you need those features. - Once your create a site, hoa-express sets up a free meeting with you! - No one to pay to create a site. Used the software for: ### "A quick and easy customizable solution for HOA's" April 19, 2017 5.0 When I became a director of our HOA, we had no good way to communicate. The only surefire way was to go door to door or send notices via email. Not being a web designer I didn't want to create my own webpage so I did a search and stumbled upon HOA Express. Hands down it was the best decision we made as an HOA. We have used the service for 4 plus years and haven't had a single issue. Our residents feel informed and always complement the Board for running such an outstanding site. After quickly setting it up I can honestly say that we haven't had to do much to maintain the site at all. Residents can update their own email address and contact information, board members can send out mass notices or post information as necessary. Even coordinating neighborhood functions is easier with the calendar and neighborhood news sections. Support is also top notch. We don't get any spam emails or requests from other services and when you do have a question, Wes always seems to answer immediately. If you do have a suggestion for the site, he looks into it and adds it if he can. You cannot go wrong with HOA Express! It has been the perfect tool for us and made the lives of our board members so much easier! Dissemination of information to our membership is a breeze...either by posting news articles, sending text, email, or old fashioned snail mail. HOA Express does it all! The website features are very easy to use. They are constantly improving the site and adding more features. The customer service has been A+, with questions answered immediately.
