The platform is easy to use and Knit's customer support was excellent. Overall we got great value for what we paid for. Cons Knit is a great payroll solution but one thing that would be nice to have is a mobile app to access the platform. Perhaps that's something they're already working on. Review Source VK Varun K. Cons The app needs some love, we would love to see some BC love in the stat holiday pay side. As well, the due date for payroll to be completed so that it runs on Friday is Tuesday at 9am PST which is a little hard to manage when you are a small company and people work over the weekend, especially when those pesky stat pays are involved. When I've had any questions their customer service has been super fast with their responses whether through email or a phone call and have helped fix any problems, which were not very many, right away. Pros The best feature I found was the employee onboarding. I like the fact that the employee is responsible for entering their own banking information. This helps keep their information secure and reduces any possible keying errors when entering multiple employee information. Cons As I have only been using this software for a few months I have not come across any cons. Reason for choosing Knit The pricing of Knit was must better, the look and ease of use was far superior. Pros The payroll management with Knit is straightforward and easy to use. Knit also had great recommendations for benefits and the vendor flowed seamlessly with Knit. Pros The time that was saved by just imputing the hours into this payroll system instead of calculating everyone's' payroll manually. May 2, 2017 5.0 I'm able to pay employees at the company on time and correctly. Also the payroll taxes get calculated and remitted. Pros I like that I can rely on Knit to always run my payroll correctly and on time. Approving payroll is easy and quick. Cons Sometimes certain fields are confusing (i.e. what tax implications certain payments have). Also some of the language used on the site is not as clear as it could be. Review Source DW Dawson W. April 17, 2017 5.0 My organization has tried a few other more traditional payroll providers and I can tell you that Knit has really saved us. The biggest advantage with Knit has got to be the user interference and general ease of use, which completely blows away the competition. Highly recommended! Pros Eliminates a lot of the hassle involved in Payroll, book keeping and dealing with the bank regarding regular employment compensation related transactions Cons Information on the breakdown of payments, EI, CPP, etc. is not always as clear as I'd like.
