For quick email lookup, I do not think it is worse than similar tools, and honestly I do not fully understand why my contractors do not use it more. Pros Hunter has a trial and gives 50 credits. When I only need to find one or two specific email addresses, Hunter is usually the first place I go. Cons My contractors do not use Hunter as their main workflow. For larger contact research projects, like building lists of 500+ contacts, we use another service that they used to. It gradually replaced 2-3 other prospecting and outreach tools, allowing for savings of thousands of dollars yearly, tens of hours of work monthly, and streamlining reporting across campaigns and accounts. Pros It's one of the easiest to use and most affordable prospecting and emailing tools for personal and business use alike. It helps you identify leads for your business, find their contact details, verify email addresses, and build complex email campaigns, also providing templates, personalization options, and spam scoring that actually works. The browser extension saves you a ton of time. Support is excellent: super fast and helpful. Cons Some of the email addresses listed are no longer in use. I wish it were able to identify contacts for social media accounts as well, not just websites. But this will change in the following 4 weeks so i'll be able to send out a lot more emails. Pros How easy and fast it is to create a mailing flow for our cold emailing. up until now i have an open rate of 45% which is more then i had when using more conventional emailing tools like mailchimp form y cold emailing. Cons The database for contacts in belgium is lower then expected in my market segment but that's okay as i have a lot of my own data, and i can still use the domains of prospects to find email adresses with hunter. Pros Some of the activities I am involved in, the software has helped me too much, as they require networking with other professionals, technology providers or potential partners, Hunter can help me find the correct email addresses to facilitate communication initial. This is especially useful for reaching key decision-makers or technical experts in other companies. In that sense, the time savings have been abysmal. Cons I have had problems lately in verifying emails from people who use hotmail, which I suppose is something about the internal configuration of the software, I imagine it must be something temporary, the software remains loaded and does not advance, something that does not happen with gmail or domain emails, the same The problem is visible when I try to verify or search for it. It finds more contacts than other similar sites/ services. Their support is great; you can often get a response in the same hour you message them. In the age of outsourced CS and AI agents gatekeeping real assistance, hunter is an exception. Pros This product is great at finding key people in organizations. It's a good value for the money, and has great customer support. I would highly recommend them. Cons Nothing bad about hunter. They're really great to work with. I'm now using it to exploit some of the sources where Hunter finds the actual email address. Domain check and Verifier are also tools I now use quite a lot because they are really powerful and save me a lot of time when preparing a business Pipe. Pros It's really easy to use and allows you to try the product without sharing all your data. The features are straightforward and keep delivering a high-end result when being used on a daily basis or less often. Cons They have a lot of features, when I come back to the service after a while, I'm like "ok there's a lot of things I don't know yet here". I'd like to be able to hide some of the features I will never use like if it was shortcuts. Maybe future update.
