I've been able to find email addresses for research, lead generation and getting in touch with contacts where an email is readily available. Having a Chrome extension is great and allows easy access. Cons I don't know of any specific cons. Like any email finding tools, my success with them actually being valid has been mixed. Most of the time the emails are good but on some occasions they're not. It helps you find leads using their domain name. It also checks whether it's deliverable or not. It has a free plan which renders about 50 requests. Generally I find the email address I am looking for unless it is not a company that does much with digital media. Cons Not really sure. I use it very simply and either search by company or by person. Not much else. Reason for choosing Hunter I am not much of a shopper. I found it. Liked it...and I use it. Adding the widget to chrome allows you to search any web page your on for specific information. Saves a lot of time when you don't have to do it yourself. Cons It does not alway work correctly. Pros Email verification does a great job of filtering out anything that is going to bounce. This helps protect the integrity of the domain you are sending from. Customer service and willingness to solve any issues is certainly there. Having integrations with g-mail and hubspot is definitely a plus. Cons As of now, it does everything it says. I'd say maybe lower the price a little for the starter edition or make a separate "startup" or "entrepreneur" package that caters to low budget startups and individuals. Review Source KJ Kristal J. Cons Most of the emails listed in your results are either outdated or not in use anymore, so most times the data you collect is unusable. February 19, 2020 5.0 Pros The tool can help you find contact information from websites very fast, so it works especially well when trying to find email addresses from multiple companies/websites. It also works as a browser extension making you work that much less and boosting your productivity. Cons None! I had no issues with the tool. It's up-to-date on contact info (as much as possible) and there's a free version. However, there's a steep pricing curve from free to the premium plan. We would like to have a platform that allows us to find companies depending on our sales strategy and targets. At the moment, Hunter.io allows you to verify emails, but not search for new companies and leads. If you could add a large database with different filters and specifications, I believe that would be a huge help to our sales team, and a big improvement of your platform, as well. Cons For some reason, every time I try to log in, the system says it is sending me a verification text and then says my phone number isn't valid. The finder section also helps me identify potential emails by just using the person's first and last name. Cons Sometimes I find email leads on google search engine that are not on the software, an integration of the two can lead to larger volumes of verified leads. I used to use it on the website but now I just visit my prospects website and then click the extension button and it shows me the available emails. Absolutely brilliant. Thanks! Cons Very few complaints indeed. Overall very impressed. Perhaps if anything it would be good to be more conservative about the possibility of emails working. But this is minor. Cons Not as many existing contacts as I would have expected and does not seem to work with companies based outside the US. Setup and trial is easy and provides a chrome plugin with 100 free emails at sign up. The quality of data is usually pretty good Cons Since the support for finding emails from linkedin went away I am finding less and less use for Hunter.
