Cons Its a pity that linkedin prohibited them using their add-on on their website. It was amazing with it. I can find an email address in a matter of seconds. Pros I use Hunter specifically to find email addresses for prospects. I like the fact that I don't have to trawl the internet for this or try to coerce an email address from the receptionist! Cons It can't always find the right email address. So far, it has helped me find quite a few but there was one instance when it actually gave me the wrong email address. No email software is perfect, Hunter is easy to use and makes finding emails or patterns of emails easy. Pros I recently was recommended Hunter to find email addresses for a big Lead Generation project I was working on. Hunter helps find and helps predict emails of users searched. Pros Hunter has an inbuilt search engine through which a user can extract email addresses and company details by submitting the intended company's web address, which is the best-liked thing about this app. Cons Hunter.io now has removed a feature that would allow a user to search and verify professional email addresses from the LinkedIn profile link. March 19, 2018 5.0 Pros Hunter's bulk email finder is uh-MAZING! With first name, last name, company & website already in my spreadsheet, Hunter filled in the email addresses for all of them! Cons Hunter has a great Add-On for Google Sheets, but Google only allows it (or any script) to run for 6 minutes. That only translated to about 200 entries at a time in my list of 1,000+. To work around this I had to export my list to CSV and plug it into Hunter's Bulk Email Finder. I would love to stay in Sheets for the whole process. Maybe this could be done by allowing the user to process a range of rows within their spreadsheet. For example, first I specify that only rows 1-200 should be processed. Then, when that's done, I rerun the script on rows 201-400, etc. Review Source JD Jit D. Pros The ease of use was helpful, where it gives you the browser extension to make searching for contacts easier, and also the website is very easy to search on. Hunter works by scouring the web to find publicly available email addresses. Once we find a source for an email, we check back on that source every couple of months to update the email in case it can no longer be found. If you want to make sure of the validity of the emails found with Hunter, I would suggest using the Email Verifier (https://hunter.io/email-verifier) or Bulk Email Verifier tool (https://hunter.io/bulks/email-verifier). If the email is no longer valid, you will then have a full deliverability report so you don't get bounces. When you get the chance, it would be great if you could share some example emails where you noticed they're outdated so we can look into it further for you. Pros It is so easy to use and response time is just blinking of eyes. You type the prospect and domain and get the result in no time. It's a very simple software to use whenever you want. It comes with all the features required for the lead generation. Cons There is nothing to dislike but there is a problem, Hunter always provides email whether it's correct or not. Pros If you're looking for who to contact if you're in the influencer field like I am, this is a great Google Chrome add-on to have. Cons It's not always accurate or up to date, but that's not entirely the add-on's fault. Some people verify e-mails off of websites that are not connected with the company that you're researching. It's really impressive how they have found those addresses and show you a link as in to where it was found. I also love the search feature based on email formats Cons I wish there was a bulk search feature, some sort lead building tool that allows users to set parameters and find people, especially now that it doesn't work with linkedin anymore. Pros I love the Hunter tool and make use of it regularly. It's quick and easy (I don't bother with the Chrome plugin - I just use the website) and it is reliable. September 7, 2019 3.0 As I build prospect lists of people to contact to sell to, I need a reliable and affordable tool to make the process easier. This didn't do much for me. Pros I was able to get a few decision makers' email addresses. All you have to do is add it to Chrome, and push a button. Cons The results are usually weak. It mostly gives info@ and sales@ companydomain.com email addresses. Apparently the decision makers make it more difficult to find their best email address.
