When I need to go into detective mode, Hunter is my first tool of choice. Pros Hunter is one of my most effective secret weapons for finding people I need to communicate with. It's absolutely perfect for my work in the world of public relations. Cons That it's not completely FREE, as I'm not a rich small business. And I just wish I could find the contact emails behind EVERY website I need to research for contacts! I like that I can import leads from elsewhere, the bulk upload functionalities and simple, intuitive interface. Pros Simple and easy to use interface, spam review score for email campaigns and various bulk upload-download functionalities. Cons It can be difficult to find saved leads as when searching for parts of emails they do not always show up. Also sometimes I don't want leads to be saved as leads but they still get saved as such. November 24, 2025 5.0 I can't fault Hunter. It's really simple and easy to use. 50 free checks is a great way to begin to change your process and create a habit of cleaning your contacts with each marketing touch. Then if you need more, take the upgrade path - you won't regret it, when you see the results and can quantify your data health. Pros This is one of my go-to tools when researching new and old prospects. The ability to enter a company url and see if there are associated people and email addresses is very useful. The validation of the address gives you peace of mind and a way of categorising your data inventory with a go / no-go status. I notice the pricing structure is now inclusive for all sizes of business use too. Cons A bulk facility for checking your entire database would have been useful as a starting point, although with recent updates, I wouldn't be surprised if this facility now exists and I haven't found it! It is pretty intuitive to use, and does not create problems. Pros It is a practical tool. We use it a lot to get contacts in companies that we are interesting to meet. Cons No Linked-in info, it would be fantastic to get it directly from Hunter, without having to use two different info sources. However, since August 2017, LinkedIn has restricted the use of browser extensions and direct access to their platform for email discovery. In line with their Terms of Use, and because transparency is a core value for us at Hunter, we do not offer a LinkedIn integration anymore. That said, we recommend trying our Email Finder or Bulk Email Finder tools. By entering the person’s full name and their company name or domain, you can find their email addresses. Not only am I able to execute my outreach campaigns, I feel that I’m also being educated about how B2B sales work. Pros It’s very easy to use. For someone who has no experience in cold emailing, everything was very intuitive which made it very easy for me to get started. The customer service is excellent too and the people are really genuine Cons I’m not sure whether this is even possible but I would love to see the statistics tracking the number of emails being forwarded from the leads. We use it a lot to track down email addresses for companies that we thing would be a great fit for us. Pros This is very easy to use and provides the right contacts and emails for the decision makers we are looking to grow our business with. Cons there really aren't any negatives to the program. It’s easy to upload lists, set up campaigns, and track performance without needing complex onboarding or extra training. Cons It would be helpful if I could import or add new leads directly from within the campaign view instead of having to leave the campaign tab and jump between different sections. It finds more contacts than other similar sites/ services. Their support is great; you can often get a response in the same hour you message them. In the age of outsourced CS and AI agents gatekeeping real assistance, hunter is an exception. Pros This product is great at finding key people in organizations. It's a good value for the money, and has great customer support. I would highly recommend them. Cons Nothing bad about hunter. They're really great to work with. Pros Ability to find the email address of a specific team of a company, and the database is pretty vast. The other thing I loved is its seamless integration with Google Docs, which made my work so easy! I'm now using it to exploit some of the sources where Hunter finds the actual email address. Domain check and Verifier are also tools I now use quite a lot because they are really powerful and save me a lot of time when preparing a business Pipe. Pros It's really easy to use and allows you to try the product without sharing all your data. The features are straightforward and keep delivering a high-end result when being used on a daily basis or less often. Cons They have a lot of features, when I come back to the service after a while, I'm like "ok there's a lot of things I don't know yet here". I'd like to be able to hide some of the features I will never use like if it was shortcuts. Maybe future update. I do a lot of analysis in determining what steps to take in trying to reach out to a potential client. Hunter.io provides me with the opportunity to get the ball rolling so I can begin the negotiation process by being able to reach out to the correct decision maker. Pros Sometimes as an account executive we get a lead such as a business name or the name of the person who is the decision maker but have no contact info other than the name. Hunter.io is an excellent tool to quickly obtain the email address for that particular company or for that decision maker. This gets the ball rolling ASAP so there is no delays in sending that lead info that will give us a better shot at finalizing a deal. I use the product very often with excellent results. Thanks Hunter.io Cons The only con I have would be there are some businesses in which you guys do not have info about that business.
