EHS Manager Research Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great system and soon to be a recognized name" December 10, 2025 5.0 The factor which I like most of all is the customer support. The developers listen to customers and if the solution makes sense you can see quick action to improve the software. Pros I get full access to all modules and the tool is always getting better. This allows me to have modules I can grow with. Cons Would like to have a few more suites such as a LMS, but that is secondary to my current needs. As an EHS professional who promotes leveraging technology, this has been a great solution for my clients wanting to conduct monthly inspections, do ergonomic self-assessments, track corrective actions, and do JHA's. The company is easy to work with and very responsive. They have also built out the product suite to my clients needs and specifications which is nice. Pros The inspection and JHA platform is great and easy to use. It is also very easy to manage users, locations, etc. My clients have enjoyed using this platform due to having the capability of doing SSO and tailoring it to their needs. Cons Not much negative feedback, but there is an opportunity to improve getting metrics/graphs/visuals from the data that is being put into the platform. Also it would be great to have a library of templates available to clients. Cons Since we have a large number of inspections that are processed on a daily basis users see delays with speed (uploading, downloading, refreshing content, etc.). Company Safety Officer Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great safety tool for safety audits" March 25, 2025 5.0 Overall I and very pleased with the SBN app. It is a solid app that does not freeze or glitch. The GUI is easy to use and I don't have to go back to my desktop to complete a safety audit or manage my exceptions. Pros SBN is customized for our business so we capture the safety items that are unique and important to us without the clutter of unnecessary items. The ability to add more that 3 photos is outstanding. Additionally, when the SBN report is sent as a PDF the quality of the photos is excellent, even when the document is enlarged. The ease of the form itself allows our safety professionals to complete a safety audit without taking all day. SBN is a solid program that doesn't require a day long class to teach to someone. Just a brief block of instruction and they are ready to go. The ability to mark and illustrate on photos is a huge plus. All around SBN has been a huge benefit to our safety program. Cons I can choose photos from my iPad albums and camera but not directly from my photo album. The photo selection tool in SBN is slightly limiting. Review Source AY Alice Y. Security on the system is top notch and have past all the scrutiny of a lot of IT teams. Pros It is a platform that is very customizable and the tech support that they provide are great. The fact that the subscription is base on records saved and not by the number of users is a game changer because it frees up the automatic notification feature and workflow. Cons It takes time to set the workflow up to just the way you like it. The UX is not the best. Director of Safety Technology/IMReady Insurance Used the software for: 2+ years ### "SBN product review " February 28, 2020 5.0 As Director of Technology, I am involved with many software vendors so I have a good sense of what the average vendor experience is. SBN is a breath of fresh air for me. They have an excellent product, they are always open to hearing our needs, their customer service is the best of any vendor we use, and they have a true passion for what they do which is important to our company. Pros We have been using the SBN product suite for several years now. We could not be more happy with their products and service. SBN created a custom configuration for our company that addressed and fulfilled all of our specific needs. Onboarding was quick and efficient and the level of ongoing customer service they provide exceeds that of any other vendor we do business with. Their products are streamlined and intuitive which means our internal team enjoys using them. We saw a 50% time reduction in our inspection process and enjoyed improved consistency and quality after rolling out the SBN software. Before we found SBN we tried on several other solutions, but we were not happy with any of them. We have, and will continue to, recommend this software to any company that needs a superior inspection or inventory control solution. Cons I absolutely have no negative feedback for this company. I wish our other vendors were as good as SBN. Reason for choosing SBN Suite SBN offered a superior product and provided much better customer service. Loss Control Insurance Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great Product for Inspections" February 28, 2020 5.0 Pros I have used this software for almost five years as part of my job. I have also been responsible for training several employees on how to use this software. I have found it to be very easy to learn, use, and train others on. Cons When wifi or service is limited it will sometimes spin for a very long time while trying to upload. This can sometimes only be fixed by switching the ipad into airplane mode and waiting longer. Security Analyst Real Estate Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Excellent Product" February 28, 2020 5.0 Overall this product did what we needed it to do with minor exceptions. It moved our employees away from paper reports/inspections and created a centralized hub for everything. I cant emphasize anymore how responsive the SBN team was if any questions arose. They were incredibly helpful and attempted to add features to the system if they could. Pros The ease of use of this software is what I liked most. There are some users that were used to paper reports for years and introducing them to this product they had no problem transitioning to an electronic version. I would like to mention the quick responses from the support side of the company. Whenever I or a user had an issue, the support team worked incredibly quickly to resolve the issues. Cons I think our biggest challenge was finding a way to house all of our reports in one system. As a company we have many excel based reports with running totals and SBN wasn't able to accommodate something like that. Pros I can do almost everything necessary in the field with little need to go back and edit what I've entered. I like the ability to convert the report to pdf and the integration of photos. Cons The one weakness I find is in the report writing part of the program. It has limited character control and should be more rtf friendly. Or better, allow you to export to MS Word to edit and then cut and paste back into the report without having to redo all the codes (which you can't see - only the spacing effects). The hardest part is deciding what you want the software to do. As the name implies, it's simple, but useful and needed. Cons Occasional bugs with tagging the locations.
