It takes our team less time to create beautiful ads and that's a win for our design-inclined individuals and our non-design-inclined individuals. Pros Bannersnack's display ad templates and ad creator are world class. Being able to place your headline, CTA and image into a sidebar and have Bannersnack create many display ads that look beautiful is incredible. They also have great templates for social media posts as well. Cons I've been using Bannersnack for just about two years now and sometimes I find the auto-saving doesn't work as expected and I find myself losing work I got distracted from. " May 8, 2018 4.0 Time saving and consistency is the best part. Being able to rebuild all size ads at the same time each month is a huge perk. Pros Being able to create multiple size ads at the same time was a major time savor. All times are crunch times when work needs to be completed, so saving time on design is always a benefit. The other benefit I really liked is the integration of stock images. Making ads was much faster with the creative available right in the program. This comes standard in most photo programs, but it was great to see here. Cons Finding the edges of other elements was sometimes a few pixels of area rather than the exact area. But it doesn't suit my needs, as I'm not a frequent banner ad creator. Pros This software is actually very user friendly and intuitive. From what I can see, there are plenty of opportunities for A/B testing and other marketing research tools. I did have to get in touch with customer service when I had some confusion about pricing, and they were fantastic. Overall, if you're a heavier banner ad creator this may be a great software program for your needs. Cons As for me, I don't use the software nearly as much as some others might. I work for the occasional client who wants a banner created, but that doesn't really warrant buying the software when there are other, free, tools out there on the good ol' interwebz. I was also a little disappointed that you couldn't do more image manipulation. Even Canva gives you options! There was a period a year ago or so when the platform would change every two weeks. That was a bit of a headache. Now it is much more stable. Pros I like the variety of media you can produce on it and the relative simplicity saves me time from doing animations using other programs. Cons I don't like how I have to sign in for each banner tool. If I have all of it, I should be able to sign in and use everything without having to log in for each tool. It's also easy enough to use that we've rolled the tool out to non-designers who are able to swap assets and create banners from templates! Pros Bannersnack makes it quick and easy to make a whole set of banners that look great! They provide a lot of great templates that are easy to update as well as the option to fully customize a banner set. This tool has saved our design team a lot of time because making a change on one banner flows the changes to all banners! Cons It would be great to have a layers panel once you click into a specific banner size. It would be nice to be able to edit certain layers without having to move all the other layers off to the side. Locking individual layers would be a great feature as well! I do wish the display of the ad size previews were a little better. When sharing creative concepts with our leadership team, the ads display 100% or full size in a web browser opposed to the actual dimensions of the ad. It's no secret that our company has gone through a rebranding process and that Creatopy had only been launched slightly over 4 months ago, as of 6/16/2021. That being said, compared to the industry's giants, Creatopy is still in its ''infancy state". All of our departments are very hard at work around the clock and are constantly polishing the rough diamond that is our platform. Being a successor to Bannersnack, many of the original features are constantly being reworked, updated and improved, with a plethora of new features being in development and implemented rather rapidly. The platform is not trying to compete with the top-end players like Adobe, for example, being a more user-friendly tool, one that virtually anyone can master within a few hours, rather than a long-term commitment to developing an entirely new skill. I rarely have a client that doesnt like the designs. It's easy to use and makes design work really fast! Pros Bannersnack is very easy to use with a drag and drop feature to make images. I am not a graphic designer, but I find Bannersnack very useful for creating imagery for social media posts or ads. Once you have one design set up, it's easy to clone and just make a few small adjustments so they still all have a similar look and feel. It's also pretty collaborative. I can easily share templates that I build with other people on my team or use templates that they have already built. Cons It's probably not the best software to use for very customized imagery. The shapes you can choose from are somewhat limited, so if you wanted to use custom shapes or do more complex design with fading and lots of overlays, Bannersnack might not be the best option.
