Pros The very intuitive tool, it took just about an hour to get used to it (compare to other tools I tried). Has all the necessary options to create html5 banners fast. Cons You can not select multiple layers and choose transitions for all of them at once. E.g. you have several objects that have the same animation and timing and to set up transitions you have to click each layer and pick "in" and "out" transitions rather than just select all of them and do it once. Pros It's super easy to use and you can make great ads super fast. Cons You need to be able to download the analytics to a csv or xls or something. In this case, related to the svg fonts, this happens due to the fact that when a banner is saved, compression is applied for size optimization. When this happens, some text lines can get cut off if the border is too close to the actual text. Until we resolve this, we recommend enlarging the text box and using the line height feature to make sure the text is properly distanced from the text box. The animation feature is also absolutely the easiest way to accomplish simple movement in GIF ads. Cons It has limitations - it can't do everything that say, InDesign could. You can't resize images super well, and text with different weights have to be separate text boxes, but that's an okay sacrifice when you get the other features of Bannersnack.
