Pros: Advanced search features, automated tagging. Intelligent queries.

Cons: A bit hard to take in all the features and how to set them up. Support excellent however. Aleka willing to work with users to tailor the software to their needs.

Overall: We are consultants in the oil and gas industry. Extracting the right data and report information for an oil field development is a massive challenge, vital information can be buried among management verbiage in reports or Powerpoint slides..
Clients are often at remote locations so a lot of information arrives as email attachments.
Working with a group of engineers, geologists and facilities experts it can be hard to keep track of related files and attachments. Findalike supports using agreed tags within a group so that we can all retrieve related documents across drives and Internet with one search. And we get the latest version.
Searches can be based on phrases and allow for similar words, generally work even with spelling errors. Can also improve with practice as the software monitors queries and results.
