I have used Negotiatus for 3+ years as my former and current company and they are truly phenomenal partners. They are much more than just vendors.

Pros

Negotiatus is incredible. They truly help businesses scale and consolidate while saving $$$ on product spend. Their customer service team is ready to handle all client needs 24/7 and they are constantly innovating and upgrading.

Cons

At first, reporting was a bit tedious but they have made significant improvements. They are always listening to customer feedback.

I have used it at two different companies and overall it has been great. I started using when it was negotiatius and since then I have seen a lot of updates and improvements to the user experience.

Pros

I love how everything is in one place. It is easy to add items and track all my orders. I like the updated features and being able to approve orders directly from my email.

Cons

The filter on the insights tab. The date selection isn't straight forward. I think this would be better if you had a simple range selector.

### "More trouble than value"

Working with Order.co has been the most frustrating part of our purchasing, and that is the opinion of my whole team across multiple states. The basic functions it is lacking as a supply chain software application are too numerous to count and the obvious automation and computerization of purchasing functions is also very frustrating. We feel as though we are always getting a sales pitch from our account manager who has never actually been able to give us answers for our concerns when we bring them to her at our meetings. We feel as though we are being pushed to use the "substitutions" function constantly, despite Order.co having no parameter set as to what constitutes an acceptable substitution. If we order 12oz of Windex, we want that size and brand specifically and would be happy for them to source it from a different vendor at a lower cost. However, we don't want them to purchase a generic brand or a different size or formula, and the way they are set up that substitution could arrive as anything. One time an order for a 36 pack of Coke showed up as a 12 pack of Coke. That was the whole substitution they took upon themselves to save us money by purchasing a smaller quantity, but we had purchased the large quantity for a large lunch meeting and had to run to the store to buy more. We purchased the favorite energy drinks of an employee as a reward and when the vendor was out of stock, Order.co substituted it for the wrong flavors at almost double the cost.

Pros

It is super easy to use the widget to add items directly from a website to the Order.co cart. The consolidated invoicing has been amazing for our ap team. The support staff are very professional and kind.

Cons

There is no line-item receiving available. For busy purchasers, you can only have one cart at a time. If you submit something for a support ticket (wrong item received, need to submit a return/exchange, need to get the tracking link for an amazon order, etc.) sometimes it takes days to get a response due to them being "short staffed" or "support tickets being backed up" for the entire past year. I hate that I don't have access to the purchasing documents and have to go through the support system to take care of things that I could do in 5 minutes on my own. It feels like you have a purchasing team working for you, but they don't do things with the urgency or thoroughness you need so you are stuck with a team you have no management power over. The "substitutions" that are designed to save you money have literally no parameters, so if you are purchasing say Windex, the substitution could be any other size or brand and you will never know what you are getting. We have had them source parts for us and when looking closely the parts would have some of the number switched around in them. We have vendors reaching out to me about accounts/orders for other companies because it turns our Order sometimes will use our account to purchase for other companies or they will have my name and shipping location on an account setup that they will use for other companies. This causes mystery shipments to show up addressed to us. I have a lot more to say but my 1500 words are up!

Reason for choosing Order.co

Order.co was the first vendor we found who would be able to generate one-time-use credit card numbers in order to protect our credit identity. The cost was under-budget and additional promises were made by the Order.co team that sounded great at the time (ie- assisting us with product sourcing and price shopping). Unfortunately these additional features were not what we had imagined and have caused more trouble than helpfulness.

Over the experience is quick and managed well.. The process allows coordinators to add to the list while managers can help with budgets.

Pros

The catalog of items is easy to access, especially for frequently ordered items. The site is easy to use and quick to order items. The turnaround time on orders happens quickly from order date to received in studio. I appreciate that it recommends a different item if it is low in stock or previously backordered.

Cons

An upgrade would be allowing the reviewer to decline or remover the specific item as opposed to not allowing the entire order. The staff then has to go in and repeat the entire order.

However, if you click into the specific order from the email or log into the platform and navigate to the “My Orders” page, you can edit orders at the item level—letting you adjust or remove specific items without having to redo the entire order. The security has improved overall. Order management can be chaotic when you're managing several doors and trying to avoid an accounting nightmare.The platform has improved the accessibility, structure, management tools and features. etc. And the engagement from their leadership team to ensure we are getting the most out of the platform has been a tremendous help

Pros

The cost and expense management tools are the best. Tracking costs has saved us so much money. They recently updated our ability to manage PO's at the retail level, especially when it comes to approvals. Saving time, money, and improving our process management with these boundaries.

Cons

The different categories are not always intuitive. To do some of the more simple daily tasks can be challenging.

I have had an excellent experience with Order.co. The user interface is very easy to use, I love the fact that I can create and customize lists based on the needs of the business and if there are in issues that occur with the order that they are quickly handled by the customer service team

Pros

I love the ease of use of the system. Things are easy to order, find and change if needed. I also love the fact that if there are issues with the order customer service is easy to get a hold of and the issues are easily resolved.

Cons

I think the thing I like the least about Order.co is the fact that. It doesn't always feel like I'm paying the lowest price for products especially if they are on Amazon. Several times I've ordered something on order.co and gone to amazon via the link given and can find the same product for less. I want to save using this platform

Order.co has made ordering for our locations so simple and easy. It is user friendly to be able to add items and get them ordered.

Pros

I love the customer support. They are really quick to find out more information on orders that were placed. I love that this is a great 1 place shop for our multiple locations to be able to use easily.

Cons

Vendors and Tracking not being updated on orders. Not having updated tracking for orders makes things difficult to be able to track each order. Would love to have better communication between us and the vendors with having Order.co as our middle man communicating and following up more with the vendors without having to Reach out to support to find out more information.

Easy way for our 200+ unit business to seamlessly order products from a variety of vendors from one log in. easy ability to add products, see our spend on a org or smaller break down, and they are always adding new ways to make ordering easy and want our feedback.

Cons

some UI is clunky, but the team is always open for feedback and working to improve. there are features that are still manual (like bulk changing a product category over all locations) but the support team is a ticket away to help

Overall good, the support function and team is where we run into the most issues. Overall a great product when everything is functioning well but the second it goes off the rails you are basically alone to figure out the problems

Pros

Expense management and ability to create brand consistency on products across a nationwide brand is incredible helpful. Also net 30 terms for virtual cards and general ordering alongside new opens makes for easy financial reporting on our back end

Cons

Support is slow, doesn't know the answers, provides misinformation, or can't actually help with concerns brought to them.

Very easy to navigate, clean UI, and low learning curve. The workflows are straightforward, and it doesn’t take long to get productive in the system. Stable performance. rarely any glitches or downtime.

Cons

The platform feels dated. no open APIs, no webhooks, and limited integration options. It’s difficult to automate anything beyond what’s natively supported.

Pros

The automation of orders is great! The deliveries arrive on time and are always well packed. The ordering process is easy once you set up your products.

Cons

The abundance of the packaging materials is a waste. Sometimes the boxes are almost 3/4 empty and just filled to the brim with packaging material. There should be a recycling or reuse option to distribute to the mailing shops in town.

Pros

Ease of ordering! It was also super fast and easy to track. I enjoyed having the ETA's right from the order page.

Cons

It was a bit messy to set my account up at first. Some of the tracking didn't come in so that was an issue.

Pros

Negotiatus is a helpful tool for a variety of reasons. It congregates all ordering of supplies to one platform. It can then find cheaper pricing and set limits of how much you are willing to spend on a product. Since all orders go through an admin, you can cut down on miscellaneous spending. It also makes reordering products extremely easy and convenient.

Cons

There was a bit of a learning curve when we first got on the system. We needed a zoom meeting with customer service to really show us the ropes on how to effectively utilize the system. Also, the UI is not bad by any means, but it could be better.
