Forma is particularly useful during the early planning and conceptual design stages because it helps you get to useful information quickly and makes it easier to evaluate different options. It doesn’t replace every tool needed later in the design process, but it does a good job of making the front end of that process faster and more informed. Pros Autodesk Forma makes early-stage design and planning much faster and more visual. I like being able to quickly explore different concepts, understand site constraints, and compare options without having to build everything out in detail first. The interface is fairly intuitive, especially if you’re already familiar with Autodesk products. Cons There is still a bit of a learning curve when you first start using it, and some of the more advanced workflows are not always obvious\\. I’d also like to see deeper functionality and smoother integration between Forma and some of the other Autodesk tools so there is less duplication as a project progresses\\. Project Manager Construction ### "worst customer service" 1.0 Overall Rating 1.0 1.0 Ease of Use 4.0 4.0 Features 4.0 4.0 Customer Service 1.0 1.0 Likelihood to Recommend 0/10 August 10, 2026 I have tried to contact anyone at Autodesk for about 2 weeks. you cannot get anyone on the phone. then the emails take around 3 hours to get a response if you are lucky. when I finally got ahold of a salesman he said that's just the way they do things. Pros Organizational Management the software is great when it works and will let you into the project. everything is easy to search through Cons Customer Support is the worst I have experienced. couldn't be more unhappy with how they respond. Not positive, not negative. It just is. Autodesk Forma fills a hole that is there, adequately. Pros Early stage planning is made simpler through Autodesk Forma. The cloud based access allows for easy on-site access. Cons Having used BIM 360 in the past, Autodesk Forma seems to be missing some features we had become accustomed to. AN Anonymous User Estimator Construction ### "Estimator/Project Manager" 5.0 Overall Rating 5.0 5.0 Ease of Use 5.0 5.0 Features 3.0 3.0 Customer Service 4.0 4.0 Likelihood to Recommend 6/10 April 12, 2026 Has been helpful for us finding new projects and winning projects as a subcontractor and a Gengeral contractor. Pros Easy to use and navigate. I like the subcontractor database, but it could help with the calling of each individual subcontractor. The email tends to get ignored. Cons No assistance reaching out to subcontractors. Like I said before they do not always care to look at the email sent out. Plus the cost seams to just keep getting more and more expensive for the platform in total. Inoltre, si integra bene con altri software Autodesk, facilitando il passaggio tra le varie fasi del progetto. Cons essendo uno strumento relativamente recente, presenta ancora alcune limitazioni rispetto a software più consolidati. Non tutte le funzionalità sono completamente sviluppate e può richiedere un po’ di tempo per abituarsi all’interfaccia. Inoltre, il fatto che sia basato su cloud lo rende dipendente da una buona connessione internet.
