EZderm is so functional and intuitive. I have used many EMR’s over the course of my career including epic and EMA. EZDERM is by far the best. It is so customizable and easy to use. My favorite aspect of ezderm is the fact that they actually listen to your feedback and create new features based upon our advice and experience. I would recommend ezderm to any dermatology practice, cosmetic, procedural and/or general derm. It is the best. And so is Angie. Try and work with her. She is AMAZING. Cons i wish there were more pre made treatment plans. It is difficult to start making plans from scratch. All the employees with whom I have corresponded are extremely helpful and friendly. They are good about implementing changes when asked. Pros Excellent customer service. Easy to use. Helpful with accomplishing MIPS requirements. Providers can tell if the procedures they ordered have been scheduled/perform or not and staff can follow up. Cons Intake can be a little time consuming if the patient doesn't have email or is electronically challenged. Pros The thing that I love most about this software is how user friendly it is and the support is one of a kind. Cons The thing that I least like about this software from a billing stand point is not being able to get the eligibility benefits to be customized specifically for an individual practices needs. When you run eligibility the report gives so much detail that is not needed for a dermatology office. The features are well thought out and very efficient. While other systems can be cumbersome with excessive features that are time consuming to manage, EZ Derm strikes the perfect balance of providing easy to use, stream- lined functionality with minimal maintenance. Pros EZ Derm is such a great product. It is very easy to navigate around the system. The billing modules are concise and efficient, saving me a ton of time. Their "To Do" feature makes it very convenient to communicate with providers/ staff. Their customer support is amazing. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable about the product, they are very accessible and a pleasure to work with. Cons Honestly, overall I am very happy with EZ Derm. If anything, more reporting options could be helpful. Hands down the most positive experience of starting my business was having them on speed dial in case of any questions. The total opposite of my experience with the OTHER company. Pros I love the avatar on the ipad, iphone and ease with which to write and complete my notes. My medical assistants love that we can simply tap on specific area that will be biopsied and photograph. All while being totally hipaa compliant and secure. Cons the steep learning curve. I had been an early adopter to their competitor and it was hard to switch initially and learn that this ipad EMR was similar but not exactly the same. It was BETTER!!!
