I tested agentless scanning on my network of desktops, servers, and switches and got clean and updated records without overwhelming the devices. Cons A few discrepancies appeared when creating assets from computers not on the same subnet as the agent or if the computer was behind the VPN. What is more, I had to set up credential sets and discovery rules myself, which required a little more effort.
