Pros

I found it easy that with the help of AlarmsOne the alerts received from different monitoring tools can be seen in single window. Auto-sorting and auto-filtering of events enabled me to attend to important matters while not missing other events of a lesser level of importance.

Cons

The integration with some fewer monitoring tools lasted or needed certain settings adjustments from time to time. It would have been ideal, if all integration scenarios were to work seamlessly with no further settings change needed.

Pros

AlarmsOne’s mobile alert management has proved to be useful. When the team is away from the desk, getting notifications through the mobile phone SMS and voice calls is rather helpful. It has given our operations the flexibility to address important occurrences in warm kinds.​

Cons

A major disadvantage is that a part from the main periods of work, notifications in a mobile appear to be delayed. These lags may affect our ability to give urgent alerts the attention they deserve hence may lead to low service delivery.​

AlarmsOne makes certain that the members of teams are provided with requisite levels of access through roles such as Super Admin Role, Alarm Admin Role and the Alarm User Role. This has served to improve the security measures and reduce the flow of unauthorized persons access to somber alerting.​

Cons

When configuring these roles these steps can be rather time consuming. The problem does not lie in the functionality of the tool, but in their navigation, especially when granting or revoking roles in a large group.​

Pros

The capability to easily add AlarmsOne to our current level of monitoring such as Nagios or SolarWinds was rather positive. Alarm Poller helps to controls the data gather easily and much focused single panel called dashboard to control the all the alert has improved my monitoring system.​

Cons

We have found that the alert thresholds are not easily adjustable during integration. This sometimes leads to an excessive number of alerts or ignoring important ones due to the default parameters of the integrated tools.​

Pros

The centralization of alarms from disparate systems can be effectively accomplished using ManageEngine AlarmsOne. I love that on the platform I can easily categorize and order different alerts so that our IT operations team can always know what needs to be addressed ASAP.

Cons

There is one area where we can improve, and it’s regarding time to process certain alarms. Some alarms might be delayed during peak usage times, affecting the punctuality of the team while troubleshooting urgent system issues.

ManageEngine AlarmsOne’s consolidated alerting system impressed me as it brought together different sources into one place. It is very useful to monitor our network infrastructure using customizable alert categories and integration with other IT management tools.

Cons

It is a bit overwhelming to filter and sort critical alerts. For example, focusing on the most urgent issues sometimes takes more than expected time when there are a lot of incoming alarms.

Good experience working with AlarmsOne and Applications manager to notify to employees about the alerts generated by Applications Manager to monitor servers and services.

Pros

\-Amazing sync with Manage Engine Applications Manager to send the alerts in real time -The main dashboard is light and simple to see in a good order the alerts generated. -The calls generated by AlarmsOne work very quickly according the rules created.

Cons

\-We cant custom the reports generate in Excel and PDF. -The datetime format in the excel reports include the Timezone and we cant format the datetime, we have to delete the timezone first
