### "Invaluable Tool for Legal Negotiations"

October 15, 2025

5.0

Overall experience has been phenomenal. I think it is a necessary tool for any organization that has contracts with customers or other businesses.

Pros

is a great tool to keep track of contract redlines for our legal team. It gives us a streamlined way to negotiate contracts with our customers and maintains an audit trail for record keeping. It is an intuitive interface that allows us to easily send and receive documents throughout the negotiation process, and it is integrated with Outlook.

Cons

There's nothing I don't like. It does exactly what we need it to, which is streamlining contract negotiations with our customers and maintaining an audit trail for record keeping.

### "Easier to manage contracts"

May 5, 2025

5.0

It facilitates the entire contract process from start to finish, allowing me to see how it's progressing if any modifications are needed, and facilitates collaboration among the entire team.

Pros

I really like how I can better manage contracts through . It allows me to follow the detailed steps of the process and keep all contracts securely stored so that when I need previous contracts, they're easy to find. At the same time, it's also easier to complete the final signature of each contract by sending it digitally, making the electronic signature faster and more secure.

Cons

Its initial learning curve isn't easy to use; it requires a long learning curve that makes it difficult to understand the entire system.

### "Call for improvement "

October 5, 2025

5.0

Pros

I like about the user friendly interface and collaboration it got. The UI is clean and intuitive; less technical and one can get up to speed. Collaboration tools (e.g. comments, version control) are appreciated.

Cons

Document editing & version If documents need serious redlining or PDF-to-Word edits, the workflow can be clunky especially when you are downloading/uploading outside of the system.

### "Ironclad makes your contracting process seamless and secure"

April 23, 2025

5.0

has been an amazing step up from the manual process of approving contracts and storing them in another place (Google Drive, Box, etc.)

Pros

automated our old procurement workflows by creating a seamless chain of approvals for all parties who need to review vendor contracts

Cons

The tracking of renewals off of the contracts executed in is very difficult. We use another tool to track as Ironclad doesn't notify of a contract end date coming up.

### "Ironclad is a top tier contract management platform. "

July 21, 2023

5.0

Pros

The template editor is my personal favorite feature. Creating clauses or "if/then" edits allowed us to create more contract templates than we initially thought. The editor is super easy to use, but the "Academy" has helped me on several occasions. I was able to get answers to my question without reaching out to the Ironclad support team.

Cons

As of today, I have not seen any downsides to this product.

### "Easy to use contracts management software"

July 18, 2023

5.0

Great experience overall. The software is easy to get up to speed for a regular user (editing documents, approving documents, signing) and the academy resources and quality of tech support has made it very easy to be an admin and to implement new asks from internal stakeholders.

Pros

The ability to customize workflows is extremely useful. You can create conditional approvals and the assignment of signers which lets you route documents to the correct department/internal stakeholder with ease. In a larger organization this is key to avoid slowdowns associated with manually assigning work rather than having set rules for distribution. Additionally, you can heavily customize the launch pages that generate workflows to not only generate custom terms within document templates but capture that data to be able to report on and track not just numbers of contracts but even track individual uses of certain non-standard clauses.

Cons

The reporting features are excellent but ultimately focused on overall company performance and tracking of document types rather than individual user performance. For example its great to track SaaS agreements and how many were issued and what non-default terms were used but its not great at tracking an individual user's productivity. Not a business critical function by any means but certainly some more room to expand the reporting capacity. As this is a newer feature I have no doubt that improvements will be made overtime and in my time using they have added numerous new features that improve the user/admin experience so I have no doubt this will improve in the future.

### "Best Thing to Streamline Our Contracting Process"

September 6, 2022

5.0

Pros

Since we use a lot of the same agreements project after project, it is critical to save time through standardization and automation. encouraged us to take that step to facilitate the contracting process to get contracts signed faster than we ever have. The Support team is also amazing, as I've recommended features that have been implemented in later versions of the program, and they really listen to their users and want to make sure we are taking advantage of all Ironclad has to offer. And our business users absolutely love it!

Cons

I can't really say there is anything I like least about the software because I know that it is constantly changing and improving. Whatever I say I don't like about it now, I'm sure there will likely be an update in the future that will remedy it.

### "Efficient and Easy to Use"

July 19, 2023

5.0

is great overall, I love the system

Pros

The workflow designer tool is really easy to use since its features are logical. I really like how the answers can be email address captured as an email instead of just a text box. This capturing of true values really helps when building out our repository

Cons

I would like the 'turn's function to allow for each approver to have a turn function or to accurately show when the in house attorney is really reviewing the agreement and how long it has taken them as the approver. we have 5 different approvers in our workflow one from each department and the attorney is the one who is using the turn feature but it incorrectly is adding in 'days' or time when other approvers are doing their checks. ideally we would like the 'turn' function to be on an individual level.

### "Ironclad Review"

September 7, 2022

4.0

The overall experience has been positive and I would recommend to any organization looking for a contract management solution.

Pros

is easy to use and allows teams to efficiently edit and execute contracts in a collaborative manner.

Cons

There are still some features that are not available such as the parent-child relationship and being able to see who is currently reviewing the draft of the contract. However, the solution is improving with each new release and these features will be available soon.

### "Valuable contract flow tool for busy legal teams"

August 21, 2020

5.0

helps to solve the manual processes that were inherent to contract negotiation and I've had great success in streamlining the contract negotiation process to the point that my internal business partners can self server most contracts without my review at all based on our pre-determined fields.

Pros

has a suite of contract tools that allow for internal teams to easily and quickly get contracts sent out for review without heavy involvement by the legal team. The platform has an intuitive revision flow that makes it clear what redlines have been made so legal teams can quickly pinpoint where to focus their energy and compare versioning in one platform, and once completed send the document out for signature and archive it in our cloud storage platform of choice. Ironclad has really helped remove some of the painful manual contract review processes I had to deal with and allows me to spend my time more wisely on other legal issues rather than on more administrative contract processes.

Cons

As a new user it takes a little time to learn how to use the platform correctly as a new user, and I wish there were better resources available for self learning on how to best use 's various features. However, once you get up to speed with Ironclad it's easy to build some very useful workflows without much more guidance.

### "It's a product that is getting better as time goes on"

December 7, 2018

3.0

It's great for creating and executing really rote forms like NDA that don't require legal department review. As time goes on, they are improving the product, so it will likely get easier and more intuitive over time.

Pros

For workflows that are really automated that require little to no lawyer review, like NDAs, it's great.

Cons

It can be a bit clunky with respect to legal review with the necessity to download/upload new versions. If you get a PDF to review, you have to convert it to Word and then upload into the system. So blacklining within the system is rendered impossible, and also your version numbering is inaccurate. There are also some rote functionalities that aren't exactly intuitive.

### "Excellent Customer Support "

August 30, 2023

We are very pleased using .

Pros

Customer Support has been really responsive and they are always on top of their game. Most of the time, getting a resolution can take a couple of days elsewhere but with IronClad that is not the case, and for that I am grateful. Thank you

Cons

There are very minimal things that I dislike about from an IT perspective, and that is the SAML integration instructions. Other than that, we are very pleased.

### "One-of-a-kind software, makes life much easier"

December 16, 2018

5.0

Overall had a great experience with the team - the software has been very valuable and we use it a lot.

Pros

We purchased this for our legal team and it has saved them a lot of time. You have the ability to set up various workflows and the team will help you through it. Once it's set up, you can execute and revise documents with a few clicks without any manual work. As revisions are made, redlines are saved. It integrates with our existing cloud infrastructure, which is pretty convenient, and keeps things organized and immaculately named.

Cons

The setup process can be a bit cumbersome, but the team mentioned they have a new feature that will make customizing workflows a lot easier and less manual.

### "Ironclad gets the job done but is clunky"

September 23, 2020

3.0

I like but wish for a few changes that would make it more user friendly.

Pros

I like that is pretty intuitive and gets the job done. You can create many different question types and conditions. You can easily manage who can view which workflows and edit company groups. Overall, it works well.

Cons

The software should be refined so that you can make edits to a document without downloading and reuploading. For something as simple as directing a typo, you have to download the template, correct in Word and reupload. It feels unnecessarily cumbersome.

### "Simple UI, but lacking in search capabilities"

February 27, 2021

3.0

Pros

This product is very easy to use; simple and straightforward. Especially the tagging features on each workflow, it is easy to loop others in and keep all the communication in one place.

Cons

The search capabilities are really limited. You can only search by the title of the workflow. You cannot, for example, search by PO# or SKU#, which is extremely annoying. Oftentimes I have to go first to Salesforce to find the legal name of the company, and then search that in . Also, you cannot easily download a report of all workflows into an Google Sheet like you can with Salesforce reports. Also, you cannot do any calculations within Ironclad, you simply have to input all numbers manually.

### "My new toy"

December 19, 2018

5.0

Routine documents are now becoming self-service. The product has already started saving me time in light of the time, effort, and learning curve in setting it up.

Pros

Not only is it really easy to set up new workflows in Blueprint, it's actually kind of fun. I keep calling Blueprint my new toy. To a person, all of my internal clients have been very please with the ease of use of the workflows and the ability to generate routine documents themselves.

Cons

needs more features, variables, conditionality's, and the ability to make API calls to other management systems (other than Salesforce).
