Poor, interface is not very intuitive and the connect to the server is very unstable. It could be the internet speed but it happends very frequently.

Pros

I enjoy the visibility of seeing the NYA and NYC. I can quickly navigate to outcomes I need to approve.

Cons

It hangs frequently. In order complete my outcomes, I have to dedicate time for this. I find that the system often freezes and I end up saying I will come back.

It is a user friendly system with clear and direct Learning objectives tailored towards a specific role. There is ability for an individual to do more than one SKAP Guide thus first Skill growth.

Pros

\- Progress tracking - Various options e.g weekly, monthly. - Assessor training guide. - Ease of use. - Guides are easy to be printed.

Cons

\- Some guides are not updated depending on the current situations . Some Learning objectives are not customised to a specific business unit. - No consolidated report that can clearly show when assessment was done and for which learning objectives.

Apiration has improved my knowledge as I am able to identify the gaps interms of my job and functional induction and seek trainings from relevant people. Through the trainings that i got on this system, I have been able to train my team on the usage of the tool and this has improved SKAP Progress within my department.

Pros

Aspiration system makes it easy for employees to drive their own SKAP, It is also a smooth process as it automatically send the e-mail to the manager so that HE/She can be able to assess the Frontline teams from their comfort zone. The system is easy to use as it has training material embodied in it so that Employees can go through and be able to use the system

Cons

The challenge with the system is that some of the competency guides are not loaded on the system so it is difficult to assess other employees and this leads to others to be left behind interms of digital journey.

I have used Aspiration since the 2021 and this is amazing system which guides our employee on which learning objectives they should focus on to improve performance by every single key position we have in the business. This really adds value. I liked the update we had last year because we more reports than the last version.

Pros

The flexibility to get reports to pull out the detailed reports, which gives more visibility of how our employees are performing regarding the competencies acquisition.

Cons

The Month vs Target report takes 24h to reflect. I think that this could be reviewed to reflect in time, as the graphic report is more simplified. The Competence Guides should be updated looking to the changes we in VPO and the focus that are being driven in Africa Zone. Most of the LO´s are generic.

My overall experience is that, they are great learning objectives which help one to master the equipments in a shortest time possible

Pros

Well structured process based Learning Objectives and these have helped operators to familiarise themselves with what needs to be concentrated on during skills acquisition

Cons

Some questions look similar forexample, some of the Safety Learning objectives are similar for all the machine. An operator moved from one machine to the other, one feels he/she is doing a repetition

System has improved over the years but in order for SAB to remail competitive and improving competency, system can evolve some more.

Pros

Digital way of tracking employee SKAP progress. Employees and line managers are able to easily access system and track SKAP LO completions.

Cons

Unable to allocate each employee glidepath and track their progress against this set glidepath. Cannot view history of evidence(s) loaded by employees on Aspiration. Opportunity for LO's to be linked to resource links (i.e. Acadia SOPs; Workday Trainings).

Records keeping for all assessment done by individual. Easy to pull SKAP progress report in time interval. Easy to attach and review documents Allows team members to assess themselves at any time

No challenges observed so far Sometimes I get challenges during assessment due to network connectivity the system fails to synchronise on time

Generally good, the recent finishing and set up is good and amazing but needs to include self-navigation tutor guide.

Pros

Ease of use, great set up of aspiration and easy to understand for basic assessment. Aspiration also gives the opportunity for the assessor to query evidences provided

Cons

Navigation pattern not too friendly especially for the frontline employees, most times it requires strong network connectivity to access.

Pros

Simple and not complicated. Even your most junior staff can use it with ease. Historic data is kept. Offers a full suit talent management bouquet, performance management, training and succession planning.

Cons

Minor glitches which were later resolved with ease. Great support from the system developers. Aspiration has been streamlined to suit our needs, developer is easily accessible, cares about the system, tends to our needs with urgency and professionalism. Complies to deadlines all the time.

Enhancing employees competence and thus good performance

Pros

Enhances performance through self learning. It is also easy to manage learning and raise competence of staff and thus enhances individual development. Sometimes I wonder what led Brian to come up with this excellent tool. I believe if more awareness is brought to other Company's in Tanzania and elsewhere, they would love to use it. It makes one understand what he is expected of him/her through the learning objectives. A very useful tool indeed.

Cons

Absence of user's guide/self learning material for new staff. I would suggest that one is made available. Otherwise Aspiration / CAP is an excellent tool.

The ease of use. I previously used a system that was complicated and made pulling a report to time consuming. This system is easy to use and offers lots more information per individual. It also allows a graphical view to make trend analysis easy

The upgrades have been great and made tracking development easier. The team is always willing to make improvements which helps us a lot. Most of all I appreciate the support team, they always respond to request for help or advice ect even going as far as doing teams calls to help or better understand what issues I'm having.

Pros

Customer support is excellent- very reachable and always willing to assist. The new reports are great and has made reporting a lot more efficient. Very easy to use and the admin portal is also easy to use.

Cons

The app times out a lot. Once you in an individual's guides and you want to move back to the report for a specific period the app jumps to my guide instead of moving back to the report

Cons

It is simplified and all the information can be pulled from one drop down. For example pulling license to drive report for departments.

Cons

Manual calculation of drumbeat per team on month versus target. It was better if we can pull the drumbeat per line in one go

Pros

User friendly interface, helps you manage your team competence easily. You can easily monitor competency trend of team members over time and where improvement is needed

At the moment, i am cool with the features though i think if we can have a report that lets you know what area to focus, will be a nice improvement
