We first implemented SignIn 3 years ago now and quickly rolled it out to 6 sites in total. We love being able to do fire evacuation on there and creating a nice simple evidence log for that. Good level of customisable fields to give each site a clear branding, but can use settings from another area to copy over making set up easy. We would like a better discount / referral system as we haven't seen any benefit to adding more sites.

Pros

Simple to implement and we can marry the settings across to multiple sites. We use SignIn in around 6 of our buildings now and is so much better than our previous manual system.

Cons

From our point of view, we'd not really change anything and I really couldn't say what we would change. It might be a little too simple for some users, but for our needs it is perfect.

I was assigned to deploy this application across the business and was able to complete the deployment within an hour. The admin page is user-friendly, with clear instruction documents readily available. For any minor confusion, support is easily accessible via the chatbot, which provides responses within a minute. We integrated the application with M365 Entra for dynamic user management, which was simple and quick to set up. It was also integrated with our Wi‑Fi network to automatically send guest Wi‑Fi access codes to visitors upon sign-in, and this has been working perfectly. Training the receptionist on basic management was straightforward, and there have been very minimal ongoing management issues. Overall, successfully replaced Sine Core with the Sign In App.

Pros

Easy Deployment – Completed within minutes. Customer Support – Top‑notch; support is available within minutes when needed. Integrations – External systems can be integrated to enable automated workflows. Notification Controls – Flexible notifications via email, SMS, and the Teams Bot. User Management – Can be linked with Entra for dynamic user management; I’d rate this a 10/10.

Cons

This is a tough question - Its so simple to use and great app. I cannot think of any flaws unfortunately. It meets our requirement

Overall Sign in app has been a great piece of software to use to monitor who is on which site when. We use it for staff time tracking, visitors and young people visiting us. The image capture is useful to ensure the person is identifiable and we find the notifications you receive when someone signs in to see you very useful.

Pros

Sign in app is simple to use and the sign in kiosks are really user friendly, we have 40+ people a day sign in through them and they always work as expected.

Cons

We tried the spaces addon but it didn't have enough functionality for us to use it instead of our current system. Although they may have improved this since we last looked at it

One word - seamless. From the app, to the hardware, everything was set up perfectly and instantly, all for a low cost - Can't recommend enough.

Pros

Sign in App was one of the lowest cost solutions on the market, and provided the perfect solution for our site security issues. Once received, the hardware and software was setup within minutes, with the printer seamlessly linking to the tablet. Since installing the device in our reception area six months ago, we have not encountered a single issue - visitor notifications are received within seconds and we have not had to train any of our staff on how to use it.

Cons

Pre-onboarding contractors/visitors was confusing at first, but once registered, this allows them to return to site without having to re-enter their information.

Pros

How easy and bug free it is to setup a sign in process with badge printing for our reception. The visitor notification is really helpful. We could integrate it really easily with our existing access passes.

Cons

It was a little on the expensive side to get it setup, but overall worth it in the long run as it gave us a premium experience

Pros

The sign in app is an easy to use system that is easily accessible by staff members and management alike. This app helps with fire safety and time reporting.

Cons

My only issue with the sign in app is that it can be difficult to implement if you have an aging workforce that is not technically literate.

I’m happy, it’s does what it says on the website and is easy to install. I’m Using it daily and it makes my life easier

Pros

The app installs on an iPad and installs cleanly and without fuss. It allows tracking of visitors and staff and jus works flawlessly

Cons

To get the best out of it, a printer for badges is required. This wasn’t really highlighted at purchase.

Pros

I like being able to see which desk I have booked that day when I arrive into the office. I always forget. I like that I can see a full seating plan and who has booked which desk so I can try and book a desk close to my team.

Cons

It's quite hard to navigate. I often go to certain pages expecting to be able to view the seating plan but realise I've gone to the wrong page and have to find the correct one.

I like the sign in app because it gives us crowd control as well as security boundaries. I also like that it is contactless the guests can sign themselves in.

Pros

I like that the Sign in App provides great security features, the sign in process makes tracking guests and employees easy, and we can print out a guest pass to they can be spotted throughout the facility.

Cons

It was a bit rough starting out with connectivity and the printer was leaving streaks on the badges but we got all the issues resolved.
