I tell all of my wedding vendors friends about how much I love it! I’ve had one sign up through my code so far and I made $200! Pros I love the pre made templates, it makes answering emails and creating files for my clients extremely easy and cuts my time down. Before using HoneyBook, I was going crazy managing all my weddings and searching for certain correspondence from a certain bride, I was sometimes mixing up dates and losing certain files all together. I love being able to pull up my bride’s file and having all of our correspondence in one place, along with all of my files for them. Cons I wish there were more options for the pre made templates, that we can title and choose from. For now, I can only make the one follow up email. There are others that I would like to make. Also, I wish I could change the body of the email and it would save it to how I would like to word it. For now, I have to change some wording around every time I send out files to my potential clients. I also really would like to be able to make a timeline through HoneyBook. For now I have to create it in another space and email it separately to my client. It would be nice to have it all under the same file, especially with handling so many brides and weddings. Photographer Photography Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Putting your mind to ease" July 7, 2022 5.0 HoneyBook is an all in one platform that I would recommend to anyone who is anxious or nervous to do manage their business. They provide all the necessary tools for anybody to get started quickly. If you have some for your literature already created, you may present those to the HoneyBook's team and they will create the generic templates for you to get started very quickly. From there you can customize it or scrap it completely and start a different template of your liking. Pros I enjoy customizing the templates they have for each customer's individual needs. I love giving my customers a quick payment platform so they do not have to jump through different websites or accounts for access. Cons I have not experienced any glitches on the platform that was not solved very quickly. One glitch I had recently was that the project page was not loading, but they had a notification on the side stating that their team is already working on this issue before I noticed it. I use it for ALL of my inquiries and invoices as it’s easier for clients to pay and it gives me a peace of mind that my emails won’t end up in other inboxes! Pros I like how easy it is to use and create proposals, contracts and invoices. I LOVE how you can talk back and forth straight through the software with clients instead of having to use your email inbox where things tend to get lost and you have everything on each projects thread. I love simplicity and Honeybook makes all of the processes with client communication and management SO much easier than I ever expected! Honeybook gives your business a professional feel and definitely levels up the client experience (I started using this platform initially because I LOVED being on the client-side of things when planning our wedding and wanted the same for my clients). There are so many different features and it's still very affordable even for a new business owner starting out! I use Honeybook everyday. It makes it worth the money. Oftentimes, when I send someone a proposal, they say that they like the clean interface. Cons I would like to see more scheduling abilities from the app. Reason for choosing HoneyBook I found it way easier to use, with a cleaner interface. I thought I'd eventually switch to Dubsado for a more advanced experience down the road, but I love HB so I haven't left! Plus they've added more features as of late that make them competitive with Dubsado, like the smart files. It helps me directly respond to website inquiries, keep my projects organized, electronically invoice, send proposals and contracts oh yeah, and collaborate if I chose to, with other vendors on a project. That I can safely collect payments and schedule future payments from clients is a huge benefit. The client recieves automatic reminders without me lifting a finger! Pros As a photographer,I greatly appreciate its beauty. I am able to customize a proposal, invoice or contract with MY images alongside text, and they go from a boring document to an eye catching professional electronic tool that enables me to seemlessly conduct business. Cons Sometimes it is too progressive for me! I am after all a photog and not a tech geek. That’s when I reach out for help, and the support team is there to walk me through. Move on and try something that WORKS and looks good as well. Pros Affordable and Backend looks nice - so that's something! Cons Client experience if poor. Integrations are awful. Layout, design and look are atrocious and check out for clients is multi step.....Who does that anymore? We spent a week trying to get it setup and working well and efficiently....no way it was going to. And if we have to handhold it and manually do a TON of things.....why bother? June 29, 2021 5.0 Overall, HoneyBook has helped me not have to reinvent the wheel, as they say, and save my templates and also offers template ideas. This is a huge time-saver. Also, I was doing my work in several different spaces, and now I am able to do virtually everything I need in one place. Pros What I like most about the software is that I'm able to create my brochures, invoices, emails, notes all in one place. Another very important aspect for me is that we can set payment reminders and I can customize payment amounts and due dates. Cons I least like that I cannot decide more of what I would like my clients to be able to see within the project. (I may be incorrect in saying this and not yet know how to do this.) Cons The only con I have found with Honeybook is the lack of a download feature for contracts and invoices after they've been executed. We're happy with the way things are and don't plan on changing anytime soon! Pros Honeybook has everything we need to run our two companies (and we use it for both). Support has been absolutely excellent, and we love how they're constantly adding new features and templates. HoneyBook is easy to use and they take security seriously, which we value. Cons They're stuck in the Stripe system for payments with zero other options. We run our businesses using PayPal and the lack of paymention options pales in comparison to a couple of the CRM competitors out there. The app could use with a UX/UI redesign for the new decade. Pros When singing up with Honeybook they took my exhausting contracts, forms, questionnaires and placed them into their system. This saved me so much time switching from DIY client management to this online resource. Cons When responding to an email through the software, it makes a new email. Some clients have more questions and I’d like a way to organize with in a project the emails.
