It was very frustrating to use Adobe, especially when we had a lot of documents to scan onto the cloud, but since switching over to Pdffiller, we've been able to get everything done much more quickly and with less issues. Pros I just love the interface. Compared to Adobe, it's so much easier to navigate and there are much fewer alignment/placement issues. It makes it a lot faster and headache-free for us to onboard new hires with it. The e-sign feature is also a big plus. Cons The form builder feature feels a bit incomplete. We gave it a shot to see if we could switch from our form builder, but it seems to be lacking a lot of the advanced form field options that other builders have. May 8, 2023 4.0 Pdffiller I would recommend it for people who use large amounts of PDF all the time is that it allows you to save unlimited files in your cloud. It is a software that adapts to current times where it is not necessary to download an installer on your computer since everything can be to do online, once a PDF document is finished, be it a form, it can be sent by email and track sending documents. Pros PDF Filler is a great alternative to Adobe Acrobat, it has features that are even better such as uploading documents directly to its platform for later editing or filling, it can take files saved in Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or any other URL. One of the great features that it has is that all the PDF editing tools can be done online. This makes it easy to work on PDF files from any device. One of the functions that I like the most that is very practical to use is adding annotations to PDFs. Cons Something I don't like is the organization of the files that are saved in the cloud, although it may be an advantage not to have to download it to your device, it lacks a better organization to organize images and other types of documents with which you work, Another aspect that should be improved is an interface since at first it can seem confusing and difficult to use when you are editing a PDF file which takes time to adapt. It's proven to be very helpful - very affordable and a perfect alternative to a more robust Adobe-like program. Pros I loved that it is VERY comparable to Adobe in the features it offers. It was user-friendly and easy to share PDFs across a handful of different departments at my company - not one person had issue with filling out OR signing the PDF they were required to use. Cons I have yet to have a negative experience while using PDFFiller. Maybe, the only thing I can think of, is IF you are an Acrobat Adobe person, understanding this program is for the basic needs of filling in PDFs - it's not all the bells and whistles that Adobe offers, but it's also the perfect program for what it is, a PDF FILLER! September 16, 2019 5.0 I was able to take a 30+ page PDF file, highlight areas of significance, add sticky notes and/or note boxes where I needed to remember a particular point in the lengthy document filled with legal jargon. Which made things SO much easier for me. Although I have listed a few things that I wish were different, overall the product is a great one. I had one difficult experience with a file, but otherwise everything has been amazing. I would absolutely recommend PDFfiller to anyone needing the tools it offers. Pros I had never used a PDF editor before. Simply due to the fact that I had a hard time finding one that wasn't trying to charge me a bunch of money up front. PDFfiller gave me a free 30-day trial. Which is an instant gold star in my books. Aside from the willingness to let it's potential customers try the product out, the product is surprisingly easy to navigate through, and I was able to download a copy of my final product free with the trial. Cons There are two things that I would change if I could. The first thing that I did not care for is honestly just one of those particulars that I would have like to have the option of. That being that the only highlighting option is yellow. While this is not really a big deal, it would be really nice to have the option to select different highlighting options (pink,green,orange,blue,etc.). As a college student, I handle a LOT of PDF files on a weekly basis. Anything from a single page reference list, to a PDF copy of a book that consists of hundreds of pages. For me, color coding highlighted areas makes research points easier to decipher and organize according to relevance to one another. The one thing that I noticed was a bit of a headache to deal with. I uploaded a file that needed updating. I selected a entry point that needed to be changed, and the font size automatically changed from an 8.5 to a 9. I selected the "text size down" option, and it made it a size 8. There is no option to size it back to an 8.5. This created an abnormal look to the line of text, and one or more words were different in size. I would have to go through and individually adjust everything to the same size. This may be a subtle difference in size, but as a Graduate student, these things matter in the grading process. Review Source PL Pelin L. For instance, when designing a form with fields for the recipient's information, such as full name and email address, the completed responses from the recipient don't align perfectly with the document when it's returned. I loved the digital signature, document management and faxing functions of the software. They were absolutely wonderful! Cons Around late 2022 and early 2023, I noticed that PDFFiller began to change their subscription structure. I went from paying $47.88 a year for a subscription to them wanting to charge me hundreds of dollars for the same features. Furtheremore, at one point, I started receiving emails that my files would be deleted if I didn't agreed to the change. I quickly departed after that happened. So wrong and shame on you! I can quickly and efficiently change and rewrite my solicitations, contracts, and other important reports because to the product's undeniably natural and simple use. I spent hours creating a 60-page, downloadable, fillable PDF with URL links throughout the text, only to find that when downloaded, the URL links do not work. I have used two other PDF editors that did not have this problem. To add insult to injury, it appears the only way to maintain working links is to permanently host the document in pdfFiller. Doing this would force users to provide personal info in order to access it, AND requires an ongoing subscription to maintain.This is unacceptable for me and for my client and not fit for purpose.As a contractor, this exercise has cost me over $500 in lost income. I now need to start again with different software. Pros It was reasonably easy to use; the interface is simple. Cons It is not possible to create a downloadable, fillable PDF that contains working URL links in the text. The only option is to keep the document 'hosted' in pdfFiller. Doing so forces users to provide personal details in order to access the document. This is completely unacceptable and in my opinion almost a scam. September 12, 2022 5.0 I needed a way for clients to access a fillable PDF via link multiple times throughout a process and give access to this same form to other team members to sign off on different stages of the process. pdfFiller made this very easy to do I was able to teach this to my team in 10 minutes so we were able to integrate this into our workflow. Pros Easy to use, even if you have no experience creating fillable forms or verified digital signatures. Cons It only manages very basic workflows, however, their sister app AirSlate does full workflow management, so if you need something a bit more robust, that's a great option! Receiving a PDF in the past was always a nightmare and I could never fill it out and it would lead to me printing and scanning. It was just a nightmare. pdfFiller solves all of that. Pros I love how easy to use it is and it has all of the features that I always wanted. I always hated PDFs because they always made things complicated and I couldn’t mark up, sign, or make the changes that I needed to. This tool is inexpensive and solves all of my issues with PDFs. Cons The inability to be able to completed change wording. I have not figured out how to do that. In addition, I would like to see if it can integrate with our other software.
