It helps to keep track of numerous cases and divide tasks within team members. It's beneficial even if you are a solo practitioner and pays itself off. Pros Easy to use interface, responsive client support, customer's feedback is taken into consideration and executed (i.e. we suggested new functionality, improvements and got it delivered). Cons Integration to MS365 is missing even though promised to deliver. We would benefit a lot if we could sync with the Sharepoint. Some Polish descriptions differ in meaning from their English translations, which can be confusing. Certain unclear functions, particularly those related to tracking employee efficiency, can be frustrating. For example, the fixed-fee feature doesn't reliably reflect earned revenue. Additionally, the pre-invoicing system is problematic, as it doesn’t give a clear picture of our financial status. Ideally, we would like Amberlo to reflect the same financial data as our bank account, though this isn't currently possible—it could be a valuable improvement. I haven't seen another product out there that can do all the things this can for the price point. The customer service is top of the line and walked me through everything I needed to get started. I am absolutely in love with the client portal and document generation. Being a sole practitioner these features not only make my workload more efficient but also give the impression that I mean business - big business! Which is exactly what I'm looking for. Cons It can be a little hard to get your head around some of the concepts and because it's a new product there aren't as many videos/tutorials/general self help information for it. That said, the customer service team is outstanding. Additionally, I couldn't upload my existing excel client list so had to manual input their information which I found very limiting considering how advanced the Amberlo software is and that this is a standard feature in most accounting software. There was always something missing. Finally, Amberlo turned out to be the perfect solution that has all the necessary functions in one place. Calendar management, document storage, team management, office finances, profitability of individual cases and measuring work time on projects. We have been using it for several years and I highly recommend it. Pros What I like most about amberlo is the easy synchronization between the calendar, events and tasks. This allows me to easily manage tasks in the law firm's team of several people. Another advantage is the ability to monitor working time and assign it to specific matters. Cons The downside is the limitations in the phone application. Currently, the application does not allow opening documents in cases. It is worth developing this function so that the attorney in court has access to the files also from the phone. The main functions of the program I use are time recording and invoice generation. My Practice is in Australia and it translates well to the local regulatory requirements my practice needs to satisfy. Pros It looks good on screen. Time recording is super easy to use. Bill generation and payment recording is also very easy. It is affordably priced. It is one of the few cloud based time recording programs which also runs on a Mac as well as in Windows. Cons The concept of whether you are time recording to a matter or to a client seems to be an important point of distinction but which I find confusing. That might change if the scale were to grow significantly. Pros From the perspective of a small law firm with just a few people, I find the program and its "business logic" suitable. It's not overloaded with features. Breakdowns are quite rare, and customer service usually responds within a few minutes. The program runs fairly smoothly. Cons It could be cheaper :) Occasionally, there are some odd bugs – for example, with invoice numbering or certain filters not working correctly. The Amberlo team also helped us transfer our existing case records to the Amberlo system. Amberlo's personalized approach to users is a huge advantage for us when working with Amberlo. Pros We have been using the Amberlo system in our office for a year. By using Amberlo, our work has become more organized thanks to which we save a lot of time. Combining all information in one place is possible because of the many functionalities of this system. Amberlo is a cloud-based software, the interface has a modern look, is well designed and clear. Operation of the interface is very intuitive so it does not require long learning. Also the training of new lawyers works smoothly. We mainly use the records of cases and court deadlines as well as the assignment of individual cases and tasks to lawyers. Moreover, the ability to filter the data contained in Amberlo by multiple criteria is very helpful. Amberlo's cooperation with Office 365 is functional. A big advantage of the system is also its mobile application - simple, easy to use, clear and minimalistic. The mobile app allows you to manage your law firm anywhere and works on both IOS and Android.
