### "Best CRM For Your Money!! "

June 28, 2019

5.0

Excellent or A++

Pros

Easily the best and most customizable CRM for the industry our today. Their app is second to none and the desktop platform makes following jobs a breeze! Plus, grabbing an e-signature right on the contract on the app is cake. No extra app to use

Cons

There really are none, if something arose the team at JP jumped to correct or add it right away.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Leap

Having a mobile app was key to our sales staff success and talking to the team at JP sold it.

### "“From Essential Tool to Overpriced Disaster – Avoid This Product”"

November 20, 2024

1.0

I’ve been a loyal user of this contractor-focused software for years, but since it was acquired by a larger conglomerate, it has completely fallen apart. What was once an invaluable tool for estimating and CRM has become overpriced and riddled with unnecessary changes that only benefit the company, not its users. The pricing has skyrocketed. I used to pay $55 a month, but now they’ve added a $99 base fee plus an extra $5-$6 per month—essentially tripling the cost overnight. With this rate increase, they’ve priced themselves out of being competitive. There are much better and more affordable tools available for contractors. Worse, the company enforces a ridiculous 60-day written cancellation policy, yet they implemented the rate increase immediately. Even after I canceled, they refused to refund my money for the unused portion of my subscription. This is appalling, especially for a product that has deteriorated so drastically in quality. Save yourself the frustration. Look elsewhere for tools that respect their customers and offer real value.

Pros

I liked it before it was bought out - the original version called Job Progress was a better solution. It has slid back farther and farther since the acquisition.

Cons

The price hike became 3x what I used to pay and they forced me to pay it for two months despite my never agreeing to this price adjustment citing their 60 day written notice stipulation.

### "LEAP to LEAP"

January 6, 2026

5.0

Pros

Leap is truly a great tool. Every step and reminder to get you seamlessly through any project, big or small. In a world where we are so busy its nice to have this program to keep the pace and monitor job status.

Cons

The only con I have is getting the team on board to switch hahaha Working with people who do things old school is its own learning curve.

### "Add More Features/Uses"

June 28, 2019

4.0

I love the customer service you guys provide, and I hope that doesn't change as you expand. The database itself is user friendly, I just see potential for more features

Pros

I love the separation of the production calendar from the staff calendar. The customer contact directory is great, and mainly why I got Job Progress to begin with so we could manage our customers better.

Cons

I think this software could do more. I don't like the graph layouts we are given, I wish we could choose among different kinds of graphs that could help us better visualize our data. I also wish the proposals allowed me to customize the font more so whilst I am making a proposal that has already been merged to a customer. Instead, if I want to fix the font sizing on the proposal I have to exit where I am and edit the template itself and then that edit applies to all future proposals. I just want more flexibility on the customization side. Lastly, I think this program has so much potential to integrate a canvassing segment to it. Maybe integrate with Google maps or another program to create an option for companies to track their canvassers. Right now, I use Google maps to track my canvassers, but it would be great if we could do that all on Job Progress so they also have real time access to where they've gone and what neighborhoods are successful, etc.

### "JP for Pools"

December 3, 2020

5.0

Overall, after using a few different options, Job progress seems to check more boxes than the others for what we need it for. From the automation, to the templates, this software makes it easy to communicate with clients and keeps everything right there at your fingertips.

Pros

The best feature for our company is the bid management and CRM abilities of the software. We are able to keep all communication in one customer window, which helps know what has been said and promised. The Accept/Reject feature is also a nice touch to assist with knowing which estimate is the final one.

Cons

Scheduling seems to be a bit convoluted. The notifications are nice for the app, but I would like to be notified when using the online version, and that doesn't seem to be as user friendly.

### "Wonderful option for CRM"

October 27, 2025

4.0

Pros

With my role as the general office manager who mainly works in the marketing and customer service department, I use Leap CRM on a daily basis to track leads, set up appointments, capture client records/notes and keep track of analytics. By combining sales pro and leap crm, we are able to create estimates for clients, keep track of all client info (securely!), make note of sales in order to aid employee paychecks, process payments, and so much more!

Cons

Have had issues with certain features such as the wrong customer being attached to an appointment, jobs being randomly deleted or replaced, and integrations between SalesPro and LEAP CRM.

### "Sales With Leap."

October 15, 2024

5.0

Leap makes closing the deal fun and easy. After adding everything you need for that prospect or customer it automatically adds the total for you. This allows you to Close The Deal right then and their instead of coming back and it eliminates the need to leave a quote.

Pros

Working in sales is a very taxing profession. Leap makes it easy to navigate the sale the confidence.

Cons

From my point of view I didn’t really have any negative complaints except maybe a slight lag within the app.

### "Worst program used."

February 18, 2025

1.0

Overpriced program that is confusing to use. Didn't make life easier. Have had to keep paying for the whole year and when I canceled was made to pay for another month as we were then told you must give them 45 days notice and not 30 days per the billing cycle.

Pros

Nothing was liked about the whole system.

Cons

The program made every stage of our business take twice as long. Some steps had to be done twice.

### "Warning- can’t manage users yourself"

October 10, 2024

2.0

Pros

Fairly customizable during initial setup

Cons

You can’t actually “manage users” on your own. They make you call them and speak with them directly (extremely difficult to reach them via phone, email or their online chat) to get rid of users. If you don’t know to do this (they won’t tell you outside of fine print), and simply delete one or more of your users yourself without reaching someone to officially request that they also delete the “license”, they’ll just continue charging you without letting you know. Then when you discover that they’ve continued to charge you for these deleted users and request that they please delete the “licenses” associated with the deleted users, they won’t actually do that right away. They’ll continue to charge you for another 45 days. Why?? “That’s just our policy”.

December 9, 2020

JP right now is a love-hate relationship. I have invested so much into it, but yet I still feel like it is falling short and some basic but important function. I'm hopeful that these items will change.

Pros

1.) ease of use 2.) estimating portion 3.) workflow management 4.) documentation management 5.) sales tracking

Cons

1.) accounting integration w/ QuickBooks does not work well 2.) no copy and paste feature 3.) I had my proposal template converted and it looked awful and I had to pay for it 4.) you allow google sheets integration but not google docs so I can work on my normal proposal format 5.) you have to be in a client or search for a client to add a new job to that client 6.) no easy accounts payable system ( i have to use dropbox for that) 7.) change orders estimate sheet has different settings from the normal estimate sheet. creating double work 8.) P&L is manual entry so if we use it, we have double-entry again. Once in Quickbooks once in JP. 9.) Training is very surface level. I had to learn most of it on my own and then train my staff.

### "Make the Switch, It was a Game Changer!"

5.0

JobProgress has been a great addition to our company and we consider them part of our team. From IRE till now, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been great and has made or impacted several requests for changes and updates that we have requested. The support team is wonderful, efficient and actually listens to valid request to their software.

Pros

The overall flow of the program and the ability to use MACROS! Game Changer for any estimator on the fly.

Cons

So far we have not encountered a "least" option for our business, if anything it is small petty changes to fit our operation.

Reason for choosing Leap

### "JP needs some upgrades "

December 8, 2020

3.0

It has been fine, not excellent. We have had major issues with the email portion and have spoken to support about it way too many times

Pros

It was the best on the market at the time we enrolled

Cons

It has so many flaws -the email load chain is obnoxious, emails get lost or never received, there are too many steps to do simple tasks, the custom contracts are not readable to the finance portion, estimates can not be converted to contracts, the calendar has never synced properly, it’s hard to access closed jobs if archived, pictures take forever to load through the app, there are too many options on the system that don’t pertain to our industry (pool business)

### "Great software for team work"

December 8, 2020

5.0

We have been able to communicate as a team better now that we have a system in place to help eachother out. The tracking on proposals is great to know what our clients think of our bids and estimates.

Pros

It is easy to track everyone's progress on projects and if they need help on something it is so easy to go into the project and see right where it is at.

Cons

The integration with QuickBooks did not work for us and for how our system is set up, but we are working on linking them again

### "NO Customer Support/ Service"

September 16, 2021

1.0

My overall experience with JobProgress as been very poor. They do not show that they care very much for their users as they are pushing UI updates to make the system look differently but are not actioning any of the issues reported. And if they do fix the issues reported they are not letting the users know that its been fixed. There have been several times I have pointed out changes/ updates in the system that my contact within JobProgress had no idea were out there for the end users.

Pros

At this time, nothing. There is very little that I can trust when using the system.

Cons

The calendar says it has a 2 way sync with Google but its been broken for as long as I have used the system (over a year), the reporting functions within the system are very poor and half the time when you set filters for the reports (the same filters) you get different information, the activity feed does not capture everything that happens on a job/ with a customer and its leave the user questioning how certain things on a file were done/ by whom. There are several other items but these are just a few.

Amazing!

Pros

Working with support team and the Job Progress team has been nothing short of amazing. Support team commitment to helping his clients maximize the potential of their Job Progress Operating System seems limitless. There are a few people in business like him. He’s the kind of guy that sold me on the benefits of his system, then immediately helped me implement the system and has continued to follow up with me unsolicited on a regular basis to make sure I am leveraging the latest upgrades to the platform. in several instances, we have uncovered additional ways to leverage they are technology and they have customized certain processes specific to our company. This type of customer service doesn’t exist anymore. These guys are serious about what they do and 100% committed to their clients success. You really feel like you have a true partner, and the cost becomes Insignificant when you consider the incredible value of the relationship. This platform has simplified and streamlined our systems and processes allowing us to focus our attention on revenue generating activities. This system provides a seamless process for our customers, and has streamlined our back end operations, making them much more manageable, and freeing up tremendous amounts of time. Precious time, to get back to the family!

### "How we organize my business using Job Progress"

Amazing!!! I absolutely love having job progress (JP) to manage and grow my business. The customer service is beyond compare, the owner has helped us on many occasions and is always available. I highly recommend everything about Job Progress

Pros

### "Too many clicks to achieve the goal.."

June 28, 2019

3.0

It's cumbersome when you have to click, check, click, check, etc. to get to where you want to go. I also don't like the fact that at some points when you're doing a task within the job, it doesn't show you what job your on any longer because the secondary screen (like an email or template) covers the important portion of the screen. It is almost imperative that you have multiple screens open at the same time so you can achieve what you want. I also don't like that you can't reply to a task. You can add on to a task through edit, but the original sender doesn't know that you edited or added any notes or questions to the task unless you let them know to look at the task they just sent to you, which defeats the purpose if I have to call them to tell them to look at the task and new notes, I might as well not have sent the task to begin with. Just a thought.

Pros

I like the simplicity of Job Progress for the most part.

Cons

1st) I think the functionality could be a lot better. I hate that I must refresh my screen to know that I have new tasks, and messages, and emails. If I am working on something else, I might miss something that needs immediate reaction because I have not refreshed my screen. 2nd) I also have a problem with the fact that when we send emails from JP, after you have typed your desired recipient into the "To" line, if you check the attachment or change the email in any way it erases the "To" line and automatically inserts our own email. So if you're not paying attention, you will send the email back to yourself, and NOT the person or company you intend to send to. Why??

### "Best systems for managing project data"

December 4, 2021

5.0

JobProgress Help in achieving the required management of project data, as the organization that was previously done by traditional methods, needs tremendous efforts in order to save everything, and also requires greater efforts when the need to search for certain information. With JobProgress we got rid of all that, as all the members of the work team enter all the project's belongings from pictures, drawings, requests for materials, etc. on a daily basis in an organized manner that is easy to find in the time of need.

Pros

One of the best tools to keep track of all our projects, JobProgress is a great project management tool that enables your team to access all the data they need to complete their tasks perfectly. JobProgress helps to keep all project related items such as graphics, images, pricing tables and messages in one place, which are collected by all members of the project team at all stages of the project, and which JobProgress helps to filter as required.

Cons

Everything is very good, and all the processes that are done through it are working fine, especially the searches made by JobProgress give very accurate results.

FABULOUS!!! I cannot believe I found a program that actually works for us the way it does... I thought for sure I was going to have to pay big bucks to have software custom made for us.!! Love it!

Pros

Job Progress has been great. The way I used to run my company was with custom made spreadsheets designed specifically for my business and my trade, and when I say custom my spreadsheets were the most in depth sheets I have ever even seen so changing was hard. I am amazed at how much Job Progress already included things that I was using, tracking with my other system, things that no one thought of but they did... My main reason for switching was the ease of use, its so easy for my guys (who arent as tech savvy as I am) to use, it keeps track of all the data easily, the app is wonderful for in the field, but the best thing about Job Progress is that things that I bring up that I request or recommend does not get swept under the rug, they go right to the development team and make it happen! the customer service is absolutely great , they are there for you all the time. I would recommend this to any business out there, if a pain in the neck like me loves it, anyone will...

Cons

The only thing I wish was that I could customize things a bit more for ex: inside material I would like to be able to edit the tags, When adding a customer or a job I would like to edit the tags (because some of them i never ever use and there is other information I would like there). Also the Profit & Loss needs some work, its probably great for companies that never used it before, but I had a very custom way separated hours of labor and material etc, but \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and I are working on that to customize it a little bit more.

Work Flow automation allowing for quick maneverability with time stamps of Jobs from one stage to the next

Cons

We cannot have a universal workflow change that applies to all existing jobs. When we want to add a new category to a job it only works for new jobs that are created. Additionally, as of the recent update whenever I switch accounts (I write estimates for multiple contractors who use the software), I am unable to type into the ID and password boxes. I have to refresh the page before it will let me type in those boxes. Not a big deal but is a little frustrating
