### "Great but a few issues"

December 3, 2020

4.0

Customer service is great and the team is very willing to work with and train you. I’ve enjoyed the process of integrating our company infrastructure into the platform

Pros

Document management, job note capabilities and templating for materials orders and estimating are great.

Cons

The time tracking feature is basically useless because the only thing you can do is literally clock in and out of a certain job. If you forget to clock in at a specific time the whole day is ruined so you have to continue to have another system for time tracking for payroll - Which is annoying for something that should be a one stop app for everything. Additionally, it makes it impossible to use it for specific job labor hours because it may not be accurate.

Switched from

[Jobber](https://www.capterra.com/p/127994/Jobber/)

Jobber was really awful. Things you would upload would disappear inexplicably, time tracking was impassible. The integration with quickbooks was extremely flawed

### "JobProgress for the Win!"

July 9, 2019

5.0

Our company is very satisfied with JobProgress overall. It has made our scheduling and in house processes run more efficiently.

Pros

I love all the customization options! We can really make this CRM our own and make it work for what we need as a company. It's so user friendly- I was very surprised that the Roofing Specialists here took to it so fast and are able to maneuver through the software with minimal questions.

Cons

I would like to see more information transferable through QuickBooks. Right now, I have to manually enter any expenses for each job, instead of being able to pull that information from QuickBooks itself. The CRM we used before pulled each expense/credit, and it was easier for my Roofing Specialists to look at how much they have in their jobs. Also, if there was another option in the estimating to where you could hide view of just the markup/margin. If you just hit the "Hide Pricing" button, all the pricing goes away. The customers like to see their prices itemized.

Acculynx didn't offer near as many features. We were having issues with scheduling, creating multiple jobs, and it didn't allow us to customize anything to how we needing this to look or work.

### "Alliance Roofing CRM review"

December 11, 2020

This has been an overall great asset to our business as long as everyboy uses it ! I know you can't change that

Pros

I like the fact I can store a tremendous amount of pictures realative to a job and can easily send them to a client. I like having the ability to share info with other members of the team

Cons

I wish this program would fully integrate/link to my Quick Books The screens and functions on the computer and the phone are very different

Reason for choosing Leap

More integration with potential for more i.e Quick Books This product has what we need for the most part at a reasonable cost

### "Overall a Good Software"

December 8, 2020

4.0

I liked my sales rep very well. He was knowledgeable about the software but gave me a bit of a false narrative about the QuickBooks integration. That said, my rep now is not great. He has a negative attitude when you speak with him. Doesn't understand the construction business model and I have had to push him the entire way. If I was picking on him alone I would not repeat my purchase.

Pros

Overall the software is good. We use it with our roofing division and it does what we need it to do.

Cons

While the mobile app is better than most I do not like that you cannot delete jobs from the app. I would prefer if the app could do anything the online software can do.

### "My experience with Job Progress"

December 3, 2020

4.0

Its about 6 months and most of the staff does not like using it. its slow, it's bulky and things to move slow. I have issues in data, that my rep can't explain. Sometimes i have to move things out of the correct stage and back in for it to appear correctly. I have stuff coded at the end of the month but shows up as the following month .. This is not what I expected, but were trying to make it work. Thank god we have not stopped using our old program as I cannot use JP for tax reports ect

Pros

It's easy to see which stage work is at. Its easy to assign salesman

Cons

The accounting and reporting are seriously lacking as far as I see. For any kind of reporting I know its going to be multiple steps and some exporting of a pdf document-then changing that over to an excel format then manipulating the data. I do not like the way it keeps track of addition or subtractions to jobs. I dont like that we can't edit certain things but instead have to delete them and start again

### "great CRM for roofing company"

December 8, 2020

5.0

Overall we have had a great experience with learning about JobProgress from the person who helped us through the training/onboarding and with ongoing customer support whenever we needed additional assistance or help with the software.

Pros

This is a wonderful software program that is already set up specifically to support contractors (we are a roofing company). It is very helpful to have the support of a software company that understands the industry and has already thought of the functions needed to manage a roofing company and our customers.

Cons

On the mobile app it sometimes takes a little while to open files and documents.

Reason for choosing Leap

We chose JobProgress over the other alternatives because of the specific focus on a CRM for a construction company - the fact that it was already designed for our industry set it apart from the other CRM software options.

### "Very good customer management system"

December 8, 2020

4.0

Pros

I really like that the interface allows you to save everything about a customer in one place, manages finances, has templates for bidding / proposals and the ability to create / send out right through the program. It all flows really well together assuming the staff all use the program.

Cons

I wish you could easily select photos / documents and email them. For some reason that feature is very limited. You can download and then email, but from a supplementing perspective it would be much easier if you could email the photos / documents in an array of different formats directly through the program where all the photos / documents are saved.

### "Everyday Use"

August 22, 2019

4.0

The benefit of this program is to have all your jobs in one program and to keep all the info together

Pros

I work with a roofing company that has helped shape this program so it is easy to use and we are continuing to make this program better. As we suggest things they change it to what is needed for us.

Cons

For beginners this is not a very user friendly program. It is very self explanatory but still is hard to navigate at times.

### "JP Overall Functionality"

December 8, 2020

5.0

Great people. Great program. Some tweaks needed, but we are very happy.

Pros

The ability to move jobs in the different stages with ease and without losing customer information. This has improved our communication from the office to the field.

Cons

Subcontractors cannot move job status within job flow from phones --- patiently waiting the update for the phone.... patiently waiting.... Analysis functions are weak and could be enhanced to analyze sub-contractors and sales, job performance, better functionality for sales performance, etc.

Reason for choosing Leap

The support team behind the program - i.e. the programmers. We felt it important that JP had a great support team to fix bugs and help make the program more functional as problems were noted.

### "Great Product for GCs - Not Sales Friendly"

December 8, 2020

5.0

Would highly recommend it to any general contractor, but as I mentioned before is not extremely sales friendly.

Pros

Logical progression of jobs from one point to the next. Logical organization of contractor and subcontractor projects for ease of assigning tasks to certain projects. The mobile interface is amazing and I can manage 90% of what I need to on the mobile interface. Amazing job with that!

Cons

Does not lend very well to the ease of follow up lead management for a sales person. Also, not being able to retroactively apply updates to past accounts is a little infuriating to be honest. I often have to put older jobs in the incorrect labeled buckets.

### "Should help our company's organization and make us more efficient. "

June 28, 2018

4.0

Pros

Digital documents/signatures. Customer webpage. Ability to keep my sales reps and our customers more organized and keep better track of them. Production and scheduling. App based for working on the field. Overall it's a solid program.

Cons

There are a few things that need to be added or corrected but I know they are working on them. A couple off the top of my head would be: Ability to customize your work center page. To remove the product adds and classifieds at the bottom and replace with something relevant to our company such as "Company Announcements" or a "Note pad" for example. It's not a free program, we pay a good amount for it so I feel we should be able to remove these and replace them with something that works better for us. Issues with the Multi-project option. You need to be able to invoice and work directly off of the parent job invoice and financials rather than having to invoice each individual trade. Because of this we need to use the single project when Multi-project would be better suited. Ability to change a single trade to a multi-project at any time. A project may start as a single trade and need to be changed to a multi-project.

Joe, Excellent input ... Appreciated! We hear you! 1. Some improvement to WorkCenter customization 2. More relevant Company centric activity 3. on Multi-Project (ability to invoice off the Parent) 4. More flexibility between Multi-Project and single trade jobs Got it ... we have already begun efforts on some of those points and will discuss the rest

### "Far from being market ready"

June 28, 2019

1.0

We were ready to move from Acculynx and had thousands of prospects to move over. JobProgress does not have anything to help with the transition. Supposedly hundreds of contractors have moved from Acculynx to JobProgress so why not have a program that transfers the information over. We spent months trying to get the information manually moved over and spent thousands on help. Eventually we just got fed up and stopped as everyday new information was being entered in Acculynx and there was no end in site. If a new software like JobProgress goes to market, they need to have tools which make moving away from other CRM's quick and easy for their new customers. Otherwise, it isn't worth the pain.

Pros

Beta version is impressive and when we received a demonstration at the IRE, we were really excited with the capabilities.

Cons

Advertised functions don't work and they have nothing to help you transition away from your existing platform. All the data that needs to be moved over is on your shoulders and they aren't any help.

Review Source

Response from Leap

July 3, 2019

We provide easy access to import/export capabilities within JobProgress. Unlike the competition, JobProgress is connected to both Google Drive and Dropbox allowing a Contractor to copy files from either of those utilities into our Platform. Additionally, we allow batch select and have downloadable .csv files for most JP data that could help a manager use JP sourced information elsewhere (like Excel or Google Sheets) ... so while you may be upset ... please note, we are limited by the forced export restrictions of your existing CRM. Why give us a 1 Star Review when the fact is - is that THEY don't allow bulk export of job files? Let's get a transition plan together. You're right ... hundreds of contractors happily made the switch because we communicated and got it done. Let's make it work! There are tons of resources available for you to consider - we have and continue to be available to support your conversion. It will not happen without communication and effort on both sides.

### "Love JobProgress"

June 14, 2019

5.0

Pros

I love that it is linked to Quickbooks and sends notices when customers view and accept contracts. Customer service is great. The support team has helped me alot during the initial set up. I love that it is easy to email an estimate or contract to a customer, though the actual typing in the email can be annoying.

Cons

Sometimes I think there is too much. I haven't figured out all the bells and whistles to the software. I wish there was a spell check or more user friendly version for emailing(everything gets doubled spaced). Macros are great, but making changes to it has been difficult. The electronic signing of contracts is difficult for my older customers, but that is more of a technology thing. And I wish the app was a little more user friendly, but that really pretains to attempting to write out a contract or estimate. I would still recommend this software to any contractor.

### "Not So Customizable"

December 3, 2020

3.0

While I have a LOT that I want to change, and our sales rep told us this could be coded to our liking/how we work, it has helped with the flow of work being more organized.

Pros

I like being able to assign tasks, helps the flow of work (I am on the office side of things)

Cons

We were told it would be customizable and great for both the field side and office side, and it is not at all. I hate that you can't individually change what notifications you receive via e-mail, assign tasks to a group/specific project such as: "Social Media", Referral source needs to have drops downs i.e.: Social Media >Facebook/Pinterest/Youtube, basically the office side of construction needs to be more considered as part of this.

The overall experience is that Job progress is great software with even better customer support. The JP team is always trying to make improvements. Even though it can be a bit tough to learn (if your not a computer guy) it is defiantly a must have software!

Pros

We like the fact that you can adjust the software to fit our company. We also like that it tracks everything for all of our employees (i.e. job cost, profits in job, timelines)

Cons

The only complaint that I have and that I get a lot from our sales force is that there can be a lot of menus to go through to get to something simple. Once you figure it out it becomes easier but the learning curve can be high. Also when your in front of a customer it can get a bit monotonous.
